Fantasy Business of Death IC

Lora smiled a bit as her mentor finally acted. The crowd was a bit annoying; you'd think they would know that they had actual jobs to do. Loretta shook her head at that thought.

She turned back to the madman, "I can assure you that I'll be just fine. However, I still don't know who you are. Yelling your name to the sky when someone isn't paying attention does not allow them to know your name. I do hope you're willing to give a proper introduction."

Lora briefly pulled out her phone and took note of the day's happenings as she waited for a response. She took track of everyone bothered to come to IGRA that day, who seemed to be meeting with who, and the interactions between certain groups. Some were certainly very interesting and hostile.

Her phone was returned to it's place in the pocket across from her little black book. Lora resisted the urge to look for any jobs that may be happening; she wasn't exactly supposed to have the thing after all. Anyways, if she was to go a mission, she was certain Miss Underworld would tell her.

Loretta tossed her empty coffee away as she heard what Lily had to say. Car accidents are simple and common, but they had a habit of causing large amounts of chaos and destruction. It was time to see how her knew... training partner (although he was likely much more skilled than she was) would act in the midst of a job.
She turned her gaze to Miss Underworld and nodded.

"It's time to work, I hope this will work out," Lora sighed, "Though I still don't know who you are."

Chrysanthemum looked over at Lily, who spoke on in her usual sarcastic way. She then assigned everyone to reap at a car accident. Chrissa was just about to follow and evaluate... but then someone tapped her on the shoulder. Chrissa turned to see a short young woman (girl? She was definitely younger than Chrisa....) with tortoiseshell glasses, a simple black dress, and short, light brown hair. Chrissa recognized her as Jasper's younger brother, Genevieve... Though Chrissa liked to keep it short and call her Jenny. Long names caused her trouble. Jenny went on to explain that she wasn't done with her training, and that everyone else was a Class C reaper.
"It's fine, Jenny," Chrissa laughed. "Though I think Lily can teach you better. Besides, Loretta is a trainee, too, and that car accident is an easy place to find some soul to reap."
Chrissa got ready to leave, resting her scythe up on her shoulder for ease of transportation.
"If you insist, though," she added with a smile. "Then I will help you while we're at the car accident. Is that okay with you?"
Chrissa looked over at Loretta, who was sort of giving the girl these condescending vibes. It appeared that she had no idea who the Underworlds were. I'm assuming she doesn't come from a family of reapers, then... Chrissa thought to herself. She then looked back at Jenny with a face of benevolence, waiting for a reply.

"Isn't it obvious? Damien asked as he flashed a smile, hands on his hips as he raised his finger to the air in the form of a number one. "I am the Reaper who transcends space and time! The God of Gods! I am Damien Death!" he smiled, waiting for her reaction.

Dimitri was battling a complete mental breakdown on the inside. The very fact that he could be a part of something extremely dangerous and traitorous that could ruin his and his family's lives was grating his nerves. If he joined, he would be forced to secrecy, forced to help people who intended to bring down the very foundation that gave him his only job. He understood how valuable he was to the Anti-Reaper group; his position and job gave him perfect access to gathering valuable info, and if he could get the A-Class Reapers' trust, then it would be even better. But wasn't he used to it? All the secrecy and keeping his status low? He already had an ugly past that didn't sit well with the Reaping families, and he would be the first to be suspected if any cynical activity arose. He wanted to know the reason why Papa would get in in such a deal. He wanted to know everything.
He stood there in deep thought, the question 'Why me?' repeating in his head endlessly.

Dimitri sighed, knowing that if he went home now, he would just be plagued with the same question. He needed a distraction, a break. He needed time to digest this before he could call his older brother for more information. This was a dangerous, deadly choice, and Dimitri wanted to make sure it was the right one.

Dimitri glanced up, hearing Lily Underworld's less-than-spectacular greeting to her new trainees. He heard their new assignment; reaping souls at a car accident. Just what I need, he thought. Grabbing his bag, he made his way to the heir and her trainees, his tall, athletic stature giving off an unintentional intimidating sense to himself. He kept his expression cool and neutral, despite the jumbled-up emotions and nerves sparking off inside. If he joined that group, that would mean he would have to hurt Lily's reputation and steal away her family's wealth and power. He hoped the group wasn't planning on physically hurting them too, but what did he know? Dimitri made a mental note to remind himself to ask his brother next time. "I'm going as well," he said, Russian accent notable, gazing at Lily. "That is, if you don't mind."

Jenna gave a small, relieved smile when Chrissa agreed, and she quickly grabbed her staff. "Thanks, Chrissa! That'd be perfect," she smiled brightly, quickly adjusting her hold on her scythe. "Plus, I'm positive you could do just as good as Lily, if not better! And she already has to deal with him," she nodded in the direction of Damien, just as he did the whole 'transcend the gods' thing again... Which Jenna seemed rather unamused by. "... So, I think she has her hands full with... Damien. But, still, I thiiink your training style would work a bit better with my personality," Genevieve said, before suddenly pausing as she quickly reached for a hidden pocket on her dress, searching for her little black book... Which wasn't in her pocket. Which meant she forgot it... Wonderful.

Genevieve deadpanned a bit at herself, before sighing a bit. "... Welp, wonderful start already--" She muttered, before shaking her head. Oh well. Mistakes happen... No one was perfect. "... By the way, I kiiiind of only have half a year of training-- Sorry! I probably should've mentioned that earlier..."

Chrissa smiled a bit at Jenny's reply. She must have never seen the true extent of her sister's power, if she thought Chrissa was just as good as her sister. To be honest, Chrissa was awfully intrigued by Damien and wanted to inspect him a bit more... but since Damien had more interest in Lily, Chrissa didn't bother too much. The young woman took a quick glance at the white haired dude that had gone up to Lily. He had gorgeous yellow eyes, and had a notable Russian accent. Interesting. Chrissa looked back at Jenny, who had just mentioned that she only had a half year of training. Chrissa started walking to join the group, hoping Jenny would follow.
"That's fine," she said. "How much did you learn from your previous mentor?"

"You won't have to worry about missing much then. Big cities tend to have a familiar vibe wherever you go." Dantalion said. "Though we might have to wait a bit on that exploring if we're going to head with Lily. Or we could just skip training..." She trailed off, thinking of the conciqunces of skipping out on their first day.

"The worst that could happen is Lily yells at us, which in its own right is scary but won't be too bad as we're already C-Class so we have a bit more experience than the others. Besides we can calm her down fairly easy if we say we were on separate jobs." She finally decided.

"Yes, true... Plus, I doubt she's any scarier than my mother or uncle-- Honestly..." He shuddered a bit at the thought of angering one of those two. "And, even if it is somewhat familiar, the cities do have slightly different vibes... Though, that may be because London is older," Jasper shrugged a bit. "... Plus, I don't have any form of training today. I came because Genevieve transferred from London, and I thought I'd be here when she first enters IGRA," he shrugged a bit. "Nonetheless, shall we go?"

Jasper was still pretty excited to explore New York, despite the fact he was just from London... Places could be quite different, big city or not. Especially when they were in different countries. He did, however, check his little black book once again.

"Well, I know the basics of Reaping... But, he didn't exactly want a trainee, so he didn't really help me much. Untiiil he found out that my brother is the heir to the Spears, that is... Then he suddenly had an interest in training me properly," Genevieve crossed her arms a bit as she remembered that. "... But that was only around a month ago," she sighed a bit. "I also managed to talk my uncle into showing me some things before that, though, so I think I'm at the level I should be... Hopefully. I'd hate to be behind..."

She was honestly still annoyed with her mentor back in London... Really, would it have been so hard to train her? Honestly! She had known the basics from the beginning, considering she had her uncle, Jasper, and her mother around.

Lily nodded at Loretta as she spoke, rolling her eyes a bit at Damien. "Yeah, yeah, transcend the gods, what else is new," she responded calmly to him. Leader Mode was still on (sort of), but Sarcastic Lowkey Asshole Mode was also on; she adjusted her black cloak (which had gotten a bit crooked), then pulled out her own scythe, testing it out by swinging it in front of her. Worked like a charm. When that was done, she looked to her two trainees, the ones that she had chosen and that had chosen her, then cleared her throat, placing the scythe in its scabbard and swinging it over her shoulder. When Dimitri asked to join, she paused, giving the man a skeptical look. Then she sighed and nodded.

"Aright, fine by me, just follow me and don't get distracted," she stated simply before beginning to walk out of the headquarters, into the freedom-scented streets of Queens. The accident wasn't far; just a couple blocks away, and Lily pulled the cloak over her face. Occasionally she would stop to greet some odd people that looked like they could be mobsters, and at one point had to break up a fist fight between two of her mobster friends ("De Perna! Perinella! Put the gun down or you'll be my next Reaping job, you stupid sons of bitches!"). Finally she reached the scene of the crime, walking under the police tape and casually showing her Reaping license to the police. "Grim Effing Reaper on the job with trainees and a curious fella."

Damien let the large natural grin that most to everyone had gotten used to, and gotten sick of. He had not yet shifted into the position of understanding the seriousness of what he'd just done. He was, after all, the most ignorant person one would meet. As well as possibly the youngest Reaper in the buisness. But that was just a hunch.

He jumped up and down as he saw the scene, smiling. "Hell yeah!" He laughed, watching his new mentor.

Lora watched as Lily left. Time to prove herself. With a nod to the Russian man she turned to Damian.

"It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance," Loretta said with a slight roll of her eyes, "Though fair warning, calling yourself the reaper that transcends the gods may bring a backlash. While I don't know your ability yet and can therefore not question, I myself do not feel like cleaning up any messes that may make. Especially if those messes are pools of blood. I do hope you keep that in mind next time you have the urge to yell your position to the world, Mr. Death."

With that, Lora began to walk away, ablight at a slow pace if anyone wished to approach her to talk. Loretta unhooked the weights of her manriki from each other and coiled the chain up her arm for easier access at the accident. Maybe someone interesting had died, and she would get the chance to learn something new.

These thoughts brought a smile to her face as she saw the scene of the crash. Lora swiftly wiped the expression off of her face as she moved to stand slightly behind Miss Underworld. The cops seemed to be shocked and despondent at the idea of a grim reaper being present. Humans never did take the loss of life well, that is unless they were the ones taking it.

As Loretta started to take note of the crime scene, she had to snort at how many onlookers there were. People who gawk at the sight of chaos were a pain to deal with. Maybe Lora should step back and let someone else handle this one. Like that would happen. Lora knew that this was only the beginning of her reintroduction to the reaping would. Besides, she had to prove to Miss Underworld that she was worth the time of day.

Lora looked back at Lily, waiting to see what her mentor wanted Lora to do next.

Chrissa followed Lily, still listening to Jenny.
"It's fine," Chrissa smiled. "We'll go out with everyone else, and I'll help you through it if you have any problems."
The young woman also showed her Reaping Licence to the police when walking past, just in case. She looked at the car crash. Pretty typical of a car crash, but nonetheless devastating for the family of those who had died. Of course Chrissa wasn't supposed to view them that way, but wasn't that why she wasn't an A Rank?
Maybe I should try climbing up... but that's going to be super stressful...
She was complacent with her position as a high B rank.

[font=[FONT=Alice]Lily glanced at the trainees and Demitri, nodding at them to follow. Then she opened the car door; two bodies, piled on top of each other, fell out. Lily stared at them for a moment, then she lifted her scythe, swinging it across the corpse of the female, the one on top, and calmly speaking. "Eleanor Calogero. Impaled by windshield glass right in the stomach. Large piece." She then looked to the other one; her brow creased slightly when she realized who the other was. The man was missing both arms and his eyes were wide with horror. "Gianmarco Garzandi," she muttered; her voice was filled with spite, as though the corpse before her disgusted her.

This man had killed her Cheech. Almost happy to do it, she raised her scythe on the corpse and violently swung it across. She had a feeling she knew who was in the backseat.

Four scantily clad girls. His girlfriends. Lily's eyes narrowed at them. "Devi essere così orgoglioso," she hissed in Italian. "La puttana di un assassino." After that was said, she turned to the trainees and the C-Class. "Alright, have at it. Let's see what you can do."

Call it harsh, rude, or just plain evil, but Damien jumped in with no mercy. He summoned his weapon, a strange iron clad glove, with a chain connected to it leading to a Sickle and black Chain. He ran forward, ripping the car door open with such force that the police men jumped. He grabbed one of the bodies, pulling it out as it as flung backwards, but Damien was prepared.

He threw the sickle, wrapping around the body as the blade clung onto the soul, yanking it out violently. The crowd went silent with shock as the body fell, the soul floating up as Damien laughed. "Be happy! You just got to witness the great Damien in action!" he laughed louder, a bit more proud that before.

Dimitri nodded to Lily's instructions, and before he knew it, they were off to the site where the accident happened, onto the streets of Queens. When they made it, Lily did not hesitate to head straight to work. They were let in by the police and granted access to the damaged car.
The Russian was preparing his own scythe; an ancient Egyptian sword called a khopesh as Lily opened the door, two bodies falling right in front of them. One was a woman, Eleanor Calogero, and Lily reaped her calmly. Dimitri had to admit the way she had died was a tragic, bloody one, but then again, most of them were. Dimitri was surprised to say that he was actually kinda used to it; seeing the dead, hearing about the causes, feeling nothing but his duty call out for him, call out to reap souls. At first, of course, morals and conscious kept interrupting and making this job a nightmare, but once you've done it enough, once you've seen enough, you get used to it. He wasn't quite used to it, since he was still a Class-C, but it's a fact of life.
No, thought Dimitri. It's a fact of death.

Dimitri watched as Lily moved on to the second corpse, this one a male. He no arms, and his eyes were wide with horror. However, the way Lily reaped him was odd. Off, in a disturbing way. He could see it in the way she swung, the way her tone dripped with something Dimitri did not expect---hatred.
Despite this, he stayed silent, glancing at the man, Gianmarco Garzandi's dead body, then back to Lily, his honey-coloured eyes filled with questions. At that moment, he wondered what kind of secrets she held, what kind of past did she have. Everyone had their fair share of secrets, of skeletons in the closet. He knew Lily had them. So did he. The only difference was his were exposed.

Dimitri narrowed his eyes at the sight of four skimpily dressed girls in the backseat. No doubt the man's lovers. Lily said something in Italian, and by the sound of her tone, it wasn't the most comforting. Dimitri was about to reap himself, but Damien beat him to it. The Russian resisted the urge to roll his eyes as the boy did his job in the most reckless, disrespectful way ever, leaving the crowd shocked. Dimitri gave the boy a livid glare. "You are too cocky for your own good," he said, his tone low, speaking for the first time as he approached the car. "All I saw was a reckless move done by a mindless boy with no common sense." Dimitri then nudged Damien hard to get him out of the way, so he could have access to the bodies.
Dimitri hauled one of the girls' bodies out, placing them gently on the damp grass, the body leaning against the dented vehicle. The Russian prepared his scythe, and swung the weapon with surprising grace and fluidity. The soul came out, startled and stricken, her eyes filled with horror. Dimitri gave her a mere glance hinted with remorse, before sending the soul on it's way to the afterlife.
He had said nothing, felt nothing. He just did it, emotions aside. Maybe that's why he had moved up to Class-C so quickly. But Dimitri knew that this natural talent would help him, especially with the spy ordeal hanging over him like a dark cloud. If he kept doing his job well, the Reaping families won't notice. Won't notice that there was a mole in their organization, a spy, a traitor, until it was too late. Dimitri just had to decide whether he wanted that path or not.

Damien turned, suddenly grabbing the arm of the man who pushed him, and spinning him to face him. "What is with people today and hitting me . . ." he muttered, raising his head to the man, gripping his shoulder tightly.

"I don't know who the fuck you are, but you won't go around pushing me like I'm your bitch, get that straight you senseless lowlife." He glared the man in the eyes, his own starting to swirl as the stars appeared once again.

Dimitri's own eyes flashed, a spark of fury igniting as the boy insulted him. "A senseless lowlife? At least I am not senseless enough to go and stupidly proclaim that I surpass the gods and actually provoke one," he responded, accent distinct. He shoved Damien's hand on his shoulder, giving the boy one last stare, keeping notice of the boy's star-swirled eyes. "Now let us do our job without making a fuss, yes?" Dimitri sent Damien a venomous glance filled with warning, his voice low as he spoke.

Loretta wrinkled her nose in disgust when she saw who she would be reaping; people like that never had any good stories. Despite her revulsion with the woman, Lora gently moved one of the bodies out of the vehicle.

The scantily clad woman was laid out on the ground without much ado. She let her manriki unwind from her arm, the second weight nearly brushing the ground. Lora raised her arm and began to swiftly spin the chain perpendicularly to the ground, pushing the soul out of the body. Once she had built up momentum, the end was sent out over the corpse, propelling the spirit into the next world.

After this, Lora looked over at her companions. Miss Underworld seemed to be seething at one of the cadavers; Loretta didn't know why her mentor was so angry, but to each their own. Lora's attention settled again on the kid who seemed to call a spotlight. Damian seemed to be causing trouble again, though the Russian wasn't helping.

Lora sighed as she saw what may be the start of a fight. She knew she was supposed to do something, but the Southerner didn't really want to deal with it. Then Lora saw Damian's eyes turn into stars; while that was something of a curiosity, nothing good could come of it at the moment. Besides, fighting among themselves would only lead to weakness that may be exploited.

Loretta approached the arguing males and tapped Damian's shoulder, "Both of you, this isn't the place to rile each other up. I don't much care if you end up going at each other with the intent to kill, but here is a stupid idea. We are in the middle of a street next to a car crash. Besides, I said before I had no plans in cleaning up your messes Mr. Death, and I know a battle between two reapers no matter the rank is going to make a few messes. Now, Mr. Russian is right; there is a job to do. However, as the whole 'senseless lowlife' comment was unnecessary, so was the shoving to begin with."

Lora knew this was going to be a hard job.

(On phone, sorry)

Well shit, Lily was definitely pissed. Chrissa took a looked at the man she slashed at. She saw him at the bar once... he wasn't the type of man a normal woman would like. Lily had called one of the woman "the whore of a murderer" (Being an Underworld meant knowing Italian.), which peaked Chrissa's interest. Did he kill someone close to her? Ah, there was so much Chrissa didn't know about her own sister.

Chrissa watched as Damien ruthlessly threw the body and took the soul out and reaped it. Now that was a bit of a big offense- you don't hurt a dead body. Though, he did have some potential in him. Chrissa watched Russian Man reap with elegance. He showed almost no remorse, no emotion. Russian Man had talent. Chrissa could see him climbing to Rank A. Chrissa also looked at Loretta. She did well, though she saw nothing special in particular. Overall, everyone did well.

Chrissa walked past Damien, who was showing danger signs again. God, this kid had the biggest ego. She continued walking, letting Damien threaten Russian Boy (though she did give him a serious look). Lily could handle this. The young woman signaled for Jenny to come. Chrissa looked at the dead woman in the back, in her whore clothing. It gave Chrissa memories of last week... Chrissa forced herself to stop thinking about the past. She examined the people in the car. They must've been drinking all night to have done this.
"Jenny, do you want to try reaping?" She asked with a gentle smile.

Damien glared at the Russian, his eyes twirling and shaking with rage. He turned around, walking off to let off some steam. Not too far away, but close enough that he could still be seen, or at least sensed.

And he then did what he always did when he was angry. He trained. Without saying a word to anyone as he worked his body. It helped him think, process, it was the one thing that set his mind on straight.

Lily took the chance to cool down by sitting on the hood of the car, silently taking a sip of wine and watching Damien make a scene (again). This time it was Dimitri who told Damien off about how he was acting as the others pointed out that the C-Class was right. And he sure as hell was, unfortunately for Damien. She glanced back at the only male corpse; god, if she could, then she would beat him to a pulp. And once he was beaten to a pulp, she'd beat the pulp to a pulp until it was pulp-free tomato juice.

Yeah.

That's what she would do.

But Cheech wouldn't want that, Lily reminded herself, thinking back to the mobster with a crooked smile and surprisingly list features that didn't match his low, gruff voice. Cheech, the man who taught Lily how to feel. Cheech, who had never given her his real name--

You ain't gonna do anythin' if ya don't getcher ass outta that mansion, Lilz.

Just for a moment, a few tears spiked Lily's eyes; realizing that they were present, she lowered her hood, ashamed by such a thing, and wiped them away, taking yet another sip from her flask. She sighed, staring at Damien's retreating back, then realized that she might as well take position of mediator.

Again.

Sighing, she walked over to him, watching as he ferociously trained; he definitely had that determined streak, similar but not similar to that of Loretta. Then, her voice, calm and somewhat soothing as always, broke through the training.
"You know," she stated. "They say that everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about. The more you insult people, the less likely they are to help you in the near future. I'm taking the Russ's side in this one, you were technically breaking a rule of etiquette. Trust me, there's a certain corpse I want to punch the living daylights outta, but I ain't doing that 'cuz I already did it." She chuckled darkly, remembering how she had contributed to the corpse's lovely appearance by making his nose a tad off-center. "You keep training if you want, Imma go check on the others." She then walked back to the group, over to Loretta.

"Sorry about that. Guess we've got ourselves a fireball. I'm gonna need a drink after this..." She paused, then got out her Little Black Book, eager to see what Loretta could do. "You're pretty good by the way, kid. I'm happy to be working with someone who seems determined to succeed. With that attitude, I know you'll go far."

Lora nodded distractedly, "Thank you, Miss Underworld. I appreciate your faith, and I intend to learn as much as I can for the rest of my training."

Lora was very grateful to receive the comments from Lily; any opinion from a reaper of her caliber was to be taken seriously. Loretta didn't know what she wanted to do after she became a reaper. That was one of the things she was hoping to find out, and she had half a year to do it.

Lora shook her head as she watched Damian train. While she wasn't pleased at being ignored, Lora did get what it was like to be insulted. The kid's reactions were a bit extreme, and he really shouldn't have damaged the body. However, the dead were dead. That statement could be taken in any way pleased. Besides, the training seemed to help him work off some of that anger.

Loretta turned to watch Genevieve and Chrysanthemum perform the send off they were going to do. As she turned, Lora's eyes halted on the Russian man for a moment. Lora didn't know who he was, but it looked like Lily and a few others did. What really piqued the twenty-four year old's interest was his presence at the scene at all. Why did he want to be there.

Lora let that train of thought trail away. Her gaze rested on the other trainee and her mentor. Loretta didn't know who they were to the fullest extent. While she understood that they were both from reaper families, the fact didn't matter much to her. The blue eyed girl just shook her head again and waited for the others to act.

Jasper chuckled a bit at Tali's comment, realizing it was a joke. "True... Most of the families are all as good as Lily and Chrissa. C-Class violations are quite the pain, though... But, oh well. Mistakes aren't the end of the world," he shrugged a bit. "How do you think ranking up's going for you, though?" He asked a bit curiously. "I think I'm getting a bit closer to B-Class, but... I really have no clue."

Honestly, while he was vaguely annoyed that he wasn't B-Class because of the violations, Jasper didn't really get himself worked up over such things. After all, there was no such thing as 'perfection'... Everything could improve. It was something he had been taught since he was a child.

And then, when Tali said he was welcome to come along on her exploration, Jasper instantly took out his little black book to check for any jobs. He didn't see any, so he nodded. "Ah, sure. I'm not from around here, either, so that could be fun," Jasper smiled a bit. "I'm from London, after all."

"Perfect." Tali said. "It's always better to travel in groups in more secluded parts of town which is most likely where we'll be heading. There's always something to do there."

"Of course, we might need to stop by my place in Manhatten first if that's alright. I want to avoid a violation in case we run into any souls that need reaping." She said. Jenna had watched the others Reap quietly, keeping her mouth shut as she studied their techniques... The Russian was cool and focused, emotionless even, Lily seemed to be furious about something, Loretta did well... Annnd then there was Damien. Who hurt a body. Even being a trainee, the nineteen-year-old couldn't help but facepalm. Seriously, wasn't that a huge no-no?

She had once overheard Jasper getting a lecture on that one, actually, back when he was a trainee and messy with his spear... That was pretty amusing, she remembered, and couldn't help but giggle a bit at how terrified her usually calm older brother had been of their uncle that day. But, of course, she didn't linger on that for very long, as Chrissa had suddenly asked her a question. Instantly, Genevieve's eyes snapped back into focus, and she quickly nodded.

"Yes, I definitely do!" She instantly grabbed her staff (which she had left leaning on the side of the car for a moment as she watched the others), and turned to the body pulled out of the car. She wrinkled her nose a bit in disgust at the outfit... She didn't understand why girls liked to dress that way. But, nonetheless, she had a job to do, and she'd rather not linger on such a trivial detail. The woman was dead anyway, after all... What did it matter what she wore?

Jenna then quickly swiped her staff through the air a few inches above the body in a quick, smooth motion, before she just held it there for a long moment, focusing on getting the soul to grab onto it. That was how she figured out how to Reap, after all, with a rowan wood staff rather than a traditional weapon.

Eventually, the soul grabbed on, and she quickly pulled it up with another quick swipe upwards. Once it was up, Genevieve studied the poor girl for a long moment... The poor spirit seemed confused, lost, and a bit afraid. Jenna faltered for a second before she gently touched her with her scythe. "... Sorry to tell you this, but you're dead, miss. It's time for you to move on," Genevieve explained calmly, allowing the spirit a second to get a grasp on that before the nineteen-year-old made a sideways swipe with her staff, sending the spirit off to... Wherever she was going.

For a long second afterward, Genevieve gave the girl she had just Reaped a moment of silence before turning to Chrissa.
"Was that good?" The trainee asked.

"Ah, of course. It's completely alright with me if we need to make a small side trip... Especially if it's to avoid a violation. I'd also quite like to see that band," Jasper smiled, nodding. "Jazz is one of my favorite genres, after all. So, shall we go?"

Jasper did, however, take another quick look at his little black book, paranoid about missing jobs... Especially as sitting through a three-hour lecture did not sound appealing, since that would be what would happen if he did get another violation.

Chrysanthemum watched Jenny. The girl was clearly a trainee, but she was doing pretty well for someone who was barely taught. Jenny asked if it was good, and Chrissa nodded. It was good, though she really didn't need to tell the soul that it was dead. It also took a pretty long time getting the soul out- though Jenny only had half a year of experience. Chrissa couldn't expect her to be perfect at it.
"That was really nice," Chrissa smiled. "You just need to work on getting the soul out of the body faster."
Sending the soul off was something you had to figure out yourself. Chrysanthemum herself tended to have lengthy conversations with them, but this person seemed to have really upset Lily, and not in a I'm-on-my-period-and-just-really-pissed mood. Lily seemed to be truly upset. Like something really bad had happened. She wouldn't forgive anyone who upset Lily like that. Chrissa looked back at Lily to see what she would say next as the leader of this group.
