Fantasy Brutusque Boarding School

Dani brought her book out when it was clear nothing was going to happen. She had almost finished it and was deeply involved in it when the intercom came on. Flinching a little at the sudden sound she put her book down and anxiously waited for news of her roommates. I hope they aren't mean. It would terrible if I had to watch my back in my own room. Plus, it dries my eyes out when I sleep with them open. Which I don't like no matter how awesome and creepy I think it is.

"The dorms have been posted in the library, though the orders will be announced here as well. We'll start with the Girl's Dorm's... in dorm 21a, we have Felicia C. Lewins, Elizabeth R Binghams and, and Irene Yuki Jackson... In dorm 25a, we have LydiaValentina Frasier, Leilani C.Frasier, and Dani Wilson...."

Eyebrows furrowing and head tilting slightly to the right Dani looked at the others curiously wondering which ones were her roommates. I don't remember anyone mentioning either of them. Though, that probably would have meant I needed to listen to any of them to hear them mentioned. She paused as her gaze met a red head girl that looked tough but the sparkle in her eyes just made her look mischievous. Noticing she was looking at her she unconsciously straightened. My guess is she is one of my roommates. Deciding to make nice and try to befriend her roommates she spoke. " So Red, which Frasier are you?"

Clyde Coit

A smirk appeared on Clyde’s face when he took notice of the pink tint on Felicia’s face. He didn’t move from his slouched position as he watched her walk towards him, the smirk only growing in size. He smiled back at her, ignoring the plate that was put in front of her. Oh no- he wouldn’t turn away. Little miss thought she was actually doing something. He’d be nice and give her all of his attention.

“Look here darling,” He spoke back, reaching out to tap under her chin. “You already showed me your true colors back out there when we all first met. Don’t bullshit me with this pretending to be nice and sweet. I’d rather have the crappy guide so I know what I’m dealing with rather than pretend like we’re in some preppy little academy. You’re not nice. I could even push it even farther and say you act like something of a bitch but I won’t. You haven’t gone that far yet though something tells me you will. So I will continue with my so called attitude as long as you’re still pestering me.”

He sat back and looked down at the food, his mind now on the edible concoction on the plate. He looked up when he heard the intercom spring to life and begin announcing the dorm arrangements. He listened for the boys before speaking the names of those who he’d be with under his breath.

“Edric and Demetrius…” He mumbled, nodding his head. He wondered how they would be. His eyes flickered over to Felicia as she did a curtsy and rolled them before letting them drift over to the blonde boy who’d joined them on the way here. So he was Demetrius. He would be sure to talk to the guy at some point during this dinner. He would have to get to know the guy anyway.

He sighed in annoyance when Felicia chose to sit next to him. “Look, I know you like me but there are plenty of seats that are still unoccupied. Why don’t you choose to sit in one of those?” He asked sarcastically, stabbing at his food before taking a bite of it. His eyes drifted back towards the red head when she moaned, his eyebrows furrowing just a bit. What in the world was she doing. He watched as she composed her self before sitting up and rolled his eyes. Such an odd girl.

Clyde glanced over at Lydia when she spoke to him and took another bite of his food. He pondered over the question for a moment before finally answering.

“The school is beautiful. That much I can say.” He said with a small nod. “As are the students who attend it. Truly beautiful… On the outside at least. A few need some work on the interior. Never to late to change.” He said with a shrug. “But I feel as though I’m going to enjoy this place.”

Leilani Frasier

Leilani had only just made it to the end of the hallway when she decided to screw heading to the library. The humans were in the cafeteria. She’d seen one of the Lewins… Demetrius was it? He’d gone ahead and joined though he wasn’t needed. Who was to say she couldn’t join as well? Turning around she hummed to herself as she walked past different groups of people who were meandering around the halls themselves.

Despite having what she thought was a nice personality, she’d never really been one to put herself out there as being the ‘social butterfly’. She was a Frasier. They didn’t really talk much. She was like that as well until she was around her sister Lydia. Then you couldn’t get the teenage vampire to shut up. A small smile came to her face at the thought. That would be fun.

She paused in her walking when she heard the intercom and listened for the girls. Her eyes widened. That wasn’t a name she’d heard before in the school. Dani Wilson? That was something new. That meant… A yelp escaped Leilani’s lips in surprise over the fact that she’d be rooming with a human. It slightly overshadowed the fact that she’d be rooming with her sister (finally) but she was still excited to be with Lydia. Now they would most certainly have fun creating chaos and if this Dani girl was anything like them maybe they could bring her in to it. She could only hope.

Leilani pushed through the cafeteria doors once again, her eyes trailing over towards the table with the humans. She made her way over to the table, not bothering to acknowledge those humans. At least not yet. She had plenty of time to talk to them later if she desired. Though something told her she’d have to. If she was correct, Lydia had been a lot nicer to them than Leilani thought she’d be.

“Rooming together eh?” She said, nudging Lydia with her elbow as she grinned at the girl. She took a notice of her face and followed her gaze over to the darker boy of the group and grinned. Another like her? About time. “We’ll certainly have fun planning a welcome for our new students now, won’t we?” She asked her, a hint of mischief in her voice. She looked over at Felicia who was talking to that Demetrius boy and decided she’d speak to her other close friend later. Looking around, her eyes landed on the one human who hadn’t bothered sitting with the rest.

“Looks like we have a loner?” She asked softly more than stated as she stood. Making her way over to the young man, she sat down before tapping his shoulder. “Hey, the rest of the group is over there. Shouldn’t you be with them?” She asked him curiously. He looked as though he were in distress and Leilani’s heart tugged for the boy. He looked so sad and pathetic- like those animals she would see in those rescue commercials when she lived at home before coming here. She would at least try and help the poor soul. That and she believed in the fact that a sad human would have bitter blood. If she were to ever feed off this delicious smelling piece of meat, she’d want for the blood to be purely sweet and savory. Not bitter and tangy.

Watching his group filter into the cafeteria, he picked up his feet, quietly following behind. Otto looked over the students now assembled into the upholstered white chairs, stopping on the humans. He watched their eyes widen slightly, they heads tilt back as they gazed, surveying the room. Though he was in his second year at the school, he had never looked anywhere in the cafeteria but his plate. Otto had, after all, grown up in an incredibly wealthy ages-old vampiric family, and the luxuries that followed were something he had become very used to. Gilded gold ceilings and roman candles, even in a school, weren't particularly surprising.

Otto wondered what is was like for the humans, entering this palace of an academy. Staring at the velvet table slips and china plates laid out so strategically, he supposed it was nice. More then nice, probably. His eyes returned to the crowd, before staring again at the pink-haired human asleep on the table, still and quiet amongst the midst of such tense and tired people. Otto's eyes went wandering from her hair to her neck. Looking at the pale skin and the blue veins, he felt a sudden pang in his stomach, a switch flipped in his mind. Of course he knew blood came from humans, but he'd never seen a human before, and he had been so focused on their oddity earlier their purpose at the school had been forgotten. Otto's eye's widened, his tongue swiping over his sharp canine teeth-

".... For dorm 12a, we have Dante Sears, Otto Frances Bingham, and Graiye Maxwell Arachnid..."

The soothing voice interrupted him, his mind returning as he realized what had occurred. Otto had not anticipated this, not realizing this would happen to him too. Was this happening to others, or had they been around enough humans to curb this-this hunger? Breathing out, uniform once again, he focused on the voice washing over the room. Neither of those names were vampire names. Not only will he be in the same school as them, he'll be sleeping in a room of their still, sleeping, blood-filled food bodies. I'll have to get used to this. He though faintly to himself, staring at the tabletop the girl-human was resting on.

Hearing his dorm-mates being announced, Demetrius wasn't sure how to react as the human's name was uttered, along with a Lewins name. He supposed it would be nice sharing the space with one of his clan, though having a human in the room, having humans at the school would be a problem. Noting the two's names, Demetrius made a mental note to talk to the Lewin later. Hopefully, neither of them would be messy roommates, as he was a bit of a neat-freak when it came to his personal space. A sigh burst from the boy's lips as he allowed his green gaze to drift over to the stage, where the musicians stood, playing a lively tune in the background.

The pretty vampiress with the long red hair and the piercing blue eyes addressed him, and Demetrius allowed a genuine smile to drift to his lips. It was always a pleasure to speak to one of his kin, especially one that possessed such a remarkable beauty. She knew his name already, so Demetrius wracked his brain to try to recall hers. Remembering her name to be Felicia from the few conversations he shared with his parents about their clans members, he returned his full attention to her, watching as she curtsied with elan. She was quite polite when compared to the humans - not that that was saying much.

"A pleasure to meet you officially as well, cousin Felicia. I've heard a bit about you from my parents as well. All good things."

He purred the words, lowering his body into a gentlemanly bow. Her offer for his sitting at the table with them brought a slight frown to the boy's lips. He didn't want to sit down with those human's, didn't want to even pretend he could tolerate them. Being civil was one thing, but sitting himself down at a table full of the barbaric creatures was another.

"I'd like to remain standing actually."

He voiced after a few moments of thought. "And I suggest you do the same", the words he wanted to add remained unspoken. The scent of food drifted to his nostrils, and Demetrius took in the food that had been sat on the table not even a few minutes ago. The food made him hungry, though not for the items being served. He didn't dare eat, for fear of stirring that insatiable, beast-like hunger for the barbarian's blood. Glancing over at Felicia, Demetrius was unsurprised to see that her pale face was contorted with a painful kind of hunger as well, though like the lady she was, she maintained her composure within a few moments.

Another's voice rang out, lacking the delicate, velvet hum of a vampire's, so he naturally assumed it was a human. Looking over, Demetrius recognized him to be the unnamed boy he'd examined earlier, addressing Felicia in a rather impolite manner. Watching as his hand slowly progressed towards her face, touching the bottom of her chin, an expression of anger contorted the blond's face as he resisted the urge to break those fingers one by one. This kind of filth didn't deserve to be touching one of the Lewin's woman. But like most of their kin, she probably possessed that famous Lewin temper, and wouldn't thank him for intervening. He placated himself by shooting the boy a withering glare.

..

She was late. So late, she'd missed the bus, or whatever vehicle that had intended to pick her up from the airport. Heaving a nervous puff of air after being in that car for so long, Scarlatti pulled the small bag containing all of her earthly possessions and handed the taxi driver the $250 dollars she owed him for the ride. He drove off, not even acknowledging the wave she sent him. But she refused to let the sour man squish her excitement. Turning to regard the building she stood before, an expression of shock crossed the ebony-haired girl's face as she took in her large surroundings.

The school was even bigger then it had appeared on the email her grandmother had received the week before, somehow even more majestic then the picture had presented it to be. Forcing her feet to move forward as a goofy smile set its place upon her lips, Scarlatti paused before the gold door.
Wait. Was that real gold? Standing before the large doors with a pink duffel bag and a nervous smile as the only accessory to her outfit of teal, Scarlatti hesitantly wrapped her fingers about the gold (maybe) lion knockers, rapping them against the door a few times.

Clank. Clank. Clank.

The sound echoed through the night, and just as Scarlatti thought no one was going to answer, the doors flew open, revealing a dark-haired woman. She was beautiful, yet somehow just as equally terrifying in her appearance.

"H-Hello?"

She managed to croak out, extending her hand in a bashful wave that the woman seemed to totally disregard as she opened the doors wider, inaudibly asking her to enter. Extravagantly decorated walls and floors of gold and many other gems met her gaze, and Scarlatti felt almost weak in the knees as she allowed the woman to lead her down the hallways, and into a large fancy dining room.

"Welcome to the cafeteria."

The woman said, before turning to exit.
This was the cafeteria? This was nothing like her old school, but Scarlatti hoped she'd enjoy this new place as much as she'd enjoyed it. For a moment, she could only gape at her surroundings, before seeing the people who sat at one of the tables in the large room. Walking over, Scarlatti extended her hand in a bashful wave.

"H-hi! I'm Scarlatti. But my friends call me Lotti. Not that I'm saying we have to be friends, but it would be cool if we were!"

“Look here darling,” Clyde spoke back, reaching out to tap under her chin. So I will continue with my so called attitude as long as you’re still pestering me.” Felicia's face turned slightly pink, the fact that the boy's being too close made her seemingly strong facade apprehensive. But the thing that turned her off the most was the rushing of blood in the guy's veins, she could feel it, she could smell it, and it smelled good, too good. The petite girl felt helpless; she wanted to retort back, to snarl at him with equally harsh words, but the scent of the fresh red liquid making its way into her nose made her mind and words unkempt.

A sigh of small relief emerged from her delicate lips as he turned his attention to the food placed on the tables. Her face, turning deep pink by the moment. How dare he!? A small hiss sounded through her gritted teeth. It's not because he's a human anymore, oh no, it's the fact that he's Clyde Cloit made her insides twirl with anger. How. Dare. He. Her solemn and gorgeous features were disheveled, deeper shades of pink rushing through her cheeks and her eyebrows furrowed as she looked down a little. She touched her chin absentmindedly, a snarl coming from her mouth once again. He touched her skin with his dirty hands! Her mind was in rampage, oh how she wanted to break that hand bone by bone. She glanced over at him at the side of her dashing blue eyes, glaring at him, internally dissing him. She was restraining herself. All she wanted to do was grab one of the chairs and throw it to him, but she knows better. "....piece of dirt." She whispered as slight calmness slowly come back. Her elbow returned back to its place on the table as well as the side of her face on her palm. Though trying to be calm, she was annoyed out of her wits.

“Look, I know you like me but there are plenty of seats that are still unoccupied. Why don’t you choose to sit in one of those?” Felicia rolled her eyes, even the sound of his voice was irritating. But he got her last time, and that made her feel slightly anxious. That wasn't enough to frazzle her though, no, she'll continued annoying him till he decides to leave this school. Then a sardonic smile played on her plump lips, a femme fatale look flaunting about her eyes. "Just like what you said, sweet heart," She fought the urge to puke as she spoke those words. "I like you sooo very much that of course I would choose to sit beside you no matter what." She stared at the dark skinned guy, looking at his eyes, her long lashes fluttering along with her ocean bright orbs. She then grabbed his hand that was holding up the piece of food he just bit on, motioning his very dining utensil towards her lips, biting some of the food off with her small mouth. "Hm, not bad." She commented genuinely. Though her actions might rouse her hunger for blood more, she didn't let the chance to make him feel, at the least, disturbed, go to waste. And controlling the urge of blood was getting a little easier compared to what had transpired before.

Piercing blue eyes then looked at the blond-haired boy, refusing to take up her offer. Although slightly disappointed, she understands where he's coming from. If she wasn't a guide, she would probably do the same. Felicia then smiled at her cousin, not wanting to show her small dismay. "If that what suits you." Her voice lacking the grit of hostility she spoke with among the humans. She then straightened her back and laid her hands on her lap, listening to the lively sound echoing around the vast room.

"H-hi! I'm Scarlatti. But my friends call me Lotti. Not that I'm saying we have to be friends, but it would be cool if we were!"

Felicia turned toward the voice, her eyes widening a little. Another one with dark skin... She thought as her eyes examined the new human. Why wasn't she with the others before? Her thoughts continued as she stared at her, she seems fine compared to her male counterpart. "Pleasure to meet you, why don't you take a sit and join in this small banquet?" Felicia gave her a little nod, not as rude as how she greeted the other humans a while ago, but not very welcoming either; she then turned to look at the musicians on stage. A small sigh withdrew from her lips, the petite girl was somewhat tired, and she really just wanted to let the week past by.

Clyde Coit

Clyde’s bored gaze stayed on Felicia as her cheeks tinted pink. He wanted to smirk but didn’t feel like it. Wasting too much energy on her. He’d wasted enough as it was. Deciding she truly wasn’t worth the effort he did sit himself down. He returned his attention back to his food, enjoying the taste of it. This school truly did go all out with everything. The hallways were beautiful. What they’d seen was beautiful. The students were beautiful. Just everything… He felt so unfit. Clyde felt as though he didn’t belong at all in such a place like this yet there he was. But he’d have to be. He’d have to just get himself prepared for anything that came his way.

Though when Felicia sat down and he gave his remark, Clyde certainly wasn’t prepared for what was going to happen next. With a lazy look, he watched the sardonic smile come to her face and raised an eyebrow. Did she think she was scaring him like that? What exactly did she have planned? Nothing special- that much he was sure of. His lazy look changed into a smirk when she began to speak. Though it turned into one of surprise very quickly.

Her hand touching his made him flinch and he immediately cursed at himself for acting that way. Staring at her he watched as she took a bite off of his fork.

He could feel his breathing increase and his heart quicken as anger filled his whole body. Had she just done that? Had she really put her filthy mouth on his fork?

A scowl fit his face but he quickly wiped it off. Instead he smiled, staring at her as he ate the rest of what was on the fork.

“Darling if you wanted for me to feed you, all you had to do was ask. You have a strange way of showing your feelings.” He taunted her, raising an eyebrow as he went back to his food.

A few seconds later his eyes would flicker up once again to see a new girl walking over to them. Had she missed the limo ride?

‘Well duh Clyde,’ Clyde scolded himself, rolling his eyes. ‘Of course she did.’

He observed her, his eyes scanning across the boy that he could see as he continued to eat his food in silence. She seemed nice enough. Maybe a bit on the naive side but Clyde could deal with knowing someone who was slightly out there. Hell, she could probably entertain him with her habits if he were ever bored. Putting his fork down, he looked up at her and sent her one of his genuine smiles.

“It’s very nice to meet you Scarlatti. That’s a name I haven’t heard before. I must say that I like it.” He said with a nod, grinning at her. “But if you really don’t mind then I will call you Lotti. My name’s Clyde.” He waved back at her and would stare at her for a few more seconds just in case she responded. If not he would go back to his for and eat like nothing had ever interrupted him.

((Can’t do much with Leilani yet. She needs a reply so Clyde gets the spotlight on this one.))

Edric was just checking his book back into the private section of the library when the intercom crackled to life, the headmistress's soft voice commanding the attention of all of the students present. The dorm arrangements… It was a matter that he had tried to push to the back of his mind, but now the issue had resurfaced. Flicking his hair out of his eyes, he walked out of the library absentmindedly as Headmistress Bahr read out the dorm arrangements for the girls. Memories of his previous year were coming back… clothing scattered on the bed and around the walk-in closet, paper littered all over the floor, the soap bar left on the shower floor that he had almost slipped on… Edric's recollections left him feeling increasingly annoyed; his brow furrowed and he let out an exasperated huff. Adjusting his glasses, he attempted to compose himself again, for the second time this night. His bitterness abated, but a frown still remained on his face. He listened intently as the headmistress continued on to the boys' dorm arrangements.

"In the boy's dorms, for dorm 1a, we have Jono Tavas Leigh, Murdoch N. Bingham, and Warren L . Frasier.... For dorm 12a, we have Dante Sears, Otto Frances Bingham, and Graiye Maxwell Arachnid... For dorm 17a, we have Clyde Coit, Edric R. Lewin, and Demetrius B. Lewin."

Clyde Coit and Demetrius B. Lewin… It was a mixed bag; Clyde Coit was certainly not the name of a vampire, but on the other hand, Edric now had a chance to get closer to one of his own kinsmen, Demetrius B. Lewin. That would be enough to placate his parents, particularly his fussy mother who always asked him if he was lonely at school without any family or friends. Now I just have to take care of the human. His expression turned into one of disdain. It was likely that they were in the cafeteria, his least favorite place in the school. There was always too much chatter going on there; most vampires treated it as a place to socialize. Also, the accompanying music there reminded him of those social functions that his father used to take him to. He had never really liked them. Turning around the corner, he began mentally listing his priorities. First, he had to identify which one of the humans was Clyde Coit. Then, he had to gather as much information as possible. Whatever information he gathered would be immensely helpful in the near future.

Edric walked through the open doors of the cafeteria and strode across the room, situating himself at an empty table near the humans where he could easily observe them. He motioned for the waiter and asked for a glass of water, all the while taking note of all the people that were clustered around the area. There were more than three vampires... so some of them weren't part of the welcoming committee. One blonde vampire was standing off to the side while the others chatted away- at least this one had standards. The other vampires seemed… overly friendly with the humans. Particularly that one redhead who had even eaten off a human's fork. A brief look of disgust crossed Edric's face and his eyes narrowed in contempt. Consorting with the inferior beings in such an intimate way… what a disgrace to the vampire race. The muffled thunk of glass against the tablecloth brought him back to his senses. Dismissing the waiter with a wave of his hand, he picked up the glass of water and turned his attention back to the other table. The human with the shocking white hair, the one who had been sharing his food with the redhead, was now introducing himself to a third person who seemed to have just arrived.

Clyde. His eyes widened and he almost dropped his glass. Setting it down shakily, he leaned back in his chair. I am not sharing my room with that thing. The human didn't seem very hygienic, nonchalantly sharing a fork that he had just put in his own mouth. Edric could only imagine what breaches of social conduct would be in store for him as a future dorm mate.

Her attention was fixed on the setting about her, so Scarlatti missed the events that played out between the vampiress and the human. Tearing her attention away from the expensive scenery, the dark-haired took out her phone, taking a picture for her grandmother. She was sure the old woman would be just as shocked as she was to see just how rich this school was. Pushing her camera back in her pocket, Scarlatti noticed another's blue gaze fixed on her and too a glimpse in that direction, taking in a girl of remarkable beauty. The girl didn't give her name as she had, but was quick to greet her, asking her to take a seat with the others.

As she hurried over to her seat, the clank of a fork against a dish caught the ebony-haired girl's attentions, her eyes being drawn towards a boy who's eyes remained on her as well, with dark skin a little lighter then hers. His lips were lifted up into a smile that communicated sincere welcome, and kind words were quickly uttered.

This expensive school wouldn't be so bad after all - it seemed she'd made one friend already. An unfaltering smile was pointed in his direction as Scarlatti answered, flattered by his comment on her name. It was an odd name she knew, and most people weren't okay with odd things. This boy, on the other hand, seemed okay with it, almost as if he liked it. He introduced himself to be Clyde, and she mentally committed the name to memory. Hopefully they'd have some classes together and such.

"Thank you, Clyde."

She intoned, taking the seat nearest to him, adding hurriedly the words -

"and of course you can call me Lotti. It's nice to meet you as well."

(don't have time to post for Demetrius yet)

Warren found himself in the cafeteria, pushed there by the movement of the other students swarming into the cavernous room. He wasn't entirely sure why they were all heading to the cafeteria - it wasn't like they could get blood packs, since the humans were all around, which he spied at one of the tables, Felicia, Lydia and... Otto, was it? One of the Binghams, if he remembered right. Crossing his arms across his chest, he regarded the humans from where he stood, since he was closer now than he had been earlier, leaning back against the wall so people could easily pass by him. Each were surprisingly... underwhelming. What was all the fuss over them? They were children. All were freshmen, and most of them looked nervous or at least a bit put off by the immediate hostility. Nothing threatening or even noticeable about them.

He was about to roll his eyes or scoff at the foolishness of his kin when the PA system blared overhead, and he tilted his head to the side to hear better, reminiscent of a dog. They droned on about the names of the girl dorms, and after about fifteen minutes of that, he heard his name in the stream of information. "In the boy's dorms, for dorm 1a, we have Jono Tavas Leigh, Murdoch N. Bingham, and Warren L . Frasier...." He distinctly remembered that Murdoch was the Bingham who fancied himself some kind of noble, but the name Jono was not immediately recognizable to him. He raked through his mind to find someone with the name, but came up with nothing. Knowing Warren's luck, it was probably one of the humans. He scanned through them, trying to find which one might be this 'Jono'.

Pushing off the wall, Warren headed over to the table, despite his better judgement. He knew clearly that his control was not the best, but his curiosity was insatiable - he wanted to know which human was going to room with him. He didn't have a preference of who, but he figured that whoever it was could use a good rest anyway, given how long their travel had to have been to get all the way out to where Brutusque was located. Navigating through the dispersing crowd, Warren made his way to the table of humans and, by extent, to his cousin.

He brushed his finger against the side of her arm, so he wouldn't startle her by coming up from behind, "Lydia," He greeted quietly. His eyes skimmed to look at the humans, but he didn't dwell on it, instead breathing carefully and restrained. He didn't need to breathe in their scent any more than he already was. Once he caught his cousin's attention, he asked, "Which one of them is Jono?"

(KyanoTzoker)

“Darling if you wanted for me to feed you, all you had to do was ask. You have a strange way of showing your feelings.” He taunted her, raising an eyebrow as he went back to his food. Her ocean blue eyes slightly twitched, but she didn't want to make an effort in retorting back at him. Why am I even doing this? She asked herself, deciphering her own actions. She knew very well that he's not going to be one of her victims, he knew that she's nasty when it comes to them. The best she could do was annoy him all throughout the semester, which will be a double-edged sword cause why the hell would she put so much effort in annoying one guy. She just sat there, staring blankly at him, her eyes showed nothing but the apparent state of observation. She leaned her elbow on the table, and her face on top of her gentle fist. She turned to just look at him as he eats, eyes fixated on his rough features. Hmm... Clyde Cloit. Not that tall. Dark skin. Strange color of hair, most probably dyed. Weird eyes... dashing eyes. Friendly in the way of if you're good to him, he'll be good to you. Medium built, bigger than my frame, probably stronger than me if I were human. She laughed a little internally as she stated the difference in their body. Face? Not as attractive as us... But I guess, he's...different. Felicia tried to add bitterness to the fact that even though he was a human, the red head found his appearance different but attractive, he was eye-catching. Cause why would she even notice him if he wasn't. She shrugged off the thoughts. Okay, umm... Charm? A sour look overlapped her features for a moment, None at all. Her thoughts then shifted to the most precious subject. Blood? ...sort of, manly. She gulped a little, remembering his smell. Felicia, not now.

The blue eyed girl sighed, trying to retain her hunger for the guy's blood, then eyed the girl who sat next to Clyde. She seems naive and way too friendly. An evil smile crept up her face. She'll be her victim. She wasn't in their not-so welcoming introductions before, and she'll just befriend her, maybe not this night but during their classes, probably. They're both freshmen, and it would be impossible if they weren't classmates, seeing that the headmistress chose her as their guide. The girl named Scarlatti conversed with Clyde in this manner that was foreign between him and Felicia's, making her roll her eyes a little. They were being friendly and that made her slightly irritated. "Show off." Her lips muttered a little for only Clyde to hear. Then she gave him the sweetest smile, trying to tease and annoy him a little even though the memory of the scent of his blood lingered in her head. Her intentions may be nasty but her face showed beauty of a different kind. She may not be like Lydia who was pretty sultry and sexy looking, but her features were different. They pertained elegance, a face that of an art master's work. The only flaw on her body is her very small height and of course, her attitude.

They'll probably be done eating soon, Felicia noted as she watched the other students dig in. She looked over the room, seeing that everything seems okay. She then stood up, walking over at Lydia and Otto. "I'll be going ahead again. I'll stop by the comfort room so if you must, will you guide them to our next stop? Thank you very much." She then turned around, heading for the door. She pushed the huge doors out of her way, her feet stepping on the marble corridors of her school. She really wasn't in the need of going to the comfort room, she just wanted to walk away from the good smell of her darling's blood. It was too inviting, and realizing that they were being too close to each other, she just needed to take a break.

"Due to unforseen circumstances, the dorms member orders will be refreshed. This will be the new order... For the girls dorms, in.... Dorm 21a Felicia C. Lewins, Scarlatti D. Rameau, and Lydia V. Frasier. In.... Dorm 25a Leilani C. Frasier, Annalyne U. Frasier, and Dani Wilson.... For the boys dorms, in Dorm 1a Jono T. Leigh, Murdoch N. Binghams, Warren L. Frasier. In.... Dorm 12a Dante Sears, Otto F. Bingham, Graiye M. Archanid. In.... Dorm 17a Clyde Coit, Edric R. Lewin, Demetrius B. Lewin..."

The names were given off in a monotone voice that made Demetrius shift with openly expressed boredom, his eyes fluttering with just the slightest bit of exhaustion. But it wasn't the human kind of exhaustion that led to sleep, for sleep was an impossible feat for vampires. This was his bodies subtle way of telling him he was running low on blood.

The humans scents somehow seemed even more irresistible now, their flesh somehow even weaker the normal. Tearing his green gaze away hastily, the blonde wondered whether excusing himself as Felicia had would help him any. Finally the principals voice slowed to a stop, and Demetrius distracted himself with that thought, though his instincts urged him to sink his teeth into the nearest human.

"All students are asked to report to the assembly room to pick up luggage and receive their room keys, as well as any other announcements. If your haven't purchased them already, school uniforms are available in the assembly room for ordering or pick-up if you've preordered prior to your entrance."

A wave of nostalgia hit Demetrius at these words as he got too his feet hastily, rushing towards the exit.

Edric's shock and horror turned into denial. He was a table away, maybe he'd heard wrong when the human introduced himself… But a part of him knew that he hadn't. Heard wrong? How could he have heard wrong with his acute auditory senses? He began grasping at straws; maybe he'd get his father to talk to the headmistress for a room change. On second thought, that was just ridiculous. He didn't want to inconvenience his father for such a trivial matter, anyway. Really, Edric. Get ahold of yourself, it's just a human — one of those weak inferior things that you can just crush if they get in your way. He was still wrestling with his thoughts when the intercom came on again.

"Due to unforeseen circumstances, the dorms member orders will be refreshed…"

Upon hearing those words, Edric felt a leap of joy that mellowed out into a mix of impatience, dread, and desperation as the monotonous voice droned on through the dorm assignments. Anybody would do, as long as it wasn't a human. He'd even take a Bingham or a Frasier. Wringing his hands unconsciously, he stared intently at the white tablecloth.

"Dorm 17a Clyde Coit, Edric R. Lewin, Demetrius B. Lewin…"

He plummeted back into despair, which was then followed by a surge of unreasonable anger directed towards himself, for even daring to hope, and at the headmistress for crushing his expectations. He glared at the glass on the table and picked it up, his knuckles whitening with his grip. The water inside rippled forcefully, unnaturally, and some of it sloshed out. The cold water running down his hand and soaking his sleeve brought him back to his senses. I'm getting so worked up over a human. What would my mother say if she saw me like this? His facial expression relaxed into one of tired acceptance and he quickly wiped his hand with his handkerchief before heading slowly to the assembly room for his luggage, hanging back from the crowd.

His luggage… He quickened his pace when he realized that his precious violin was also among his belongings.

Although Felicia really had no plans of going to the comfort room, her feet found their own way to its door. Upon entering the marbled floors of the said room, her eyes shifted from the floor to the reflection looking back at her. Her cheeks, still a little pink, and her ocean blue eyes still looking lively even though she felt exhausted. She's not really tired, though. Physically, it was impossible, but mentally, she was drained. Opening the faucet to let the water flow into her hands, a hum escaped her lips. The water now rushing on her palms suddenly floated and made an orb-shaped sphere. A smile appeared on her lips. She loved playing with water, it made her usual outspoken self relax a little.

Fully knowing that she was alone in the ladies' room, she lifted her hands and started to guide the flying force of water along with her strides. Her arms made majestic moves and turns, humming as she stepped. She has forgotten what her mind was worrying about a while ago, her brain just concentrating on making the liquid float steadily. Then the Intercom went on.

"Due to unforseen circumstances, the dorms member orders will be refreshed. This will be the new order... For the girls dorms, in.... Dorm 21a Felicia C. Lewins, Scarlatti D. Rameau, and Lydia V. Frasier. In.... Dorm 25a Leilani C. Frasier, Annalyne U. Frasier, and Dani Wilson.... For the boys dorms, in Dorm 1a Jono T. Leigh, Murdoch N. Binghams, Warren L. Frasier. In.... Dorm 12a Dante Sears, Otto F. Bingham, Graiye M. Archanid. In.... Dorm 17a Clyde Coit, Edric R. Lewin, Demetrius B. Lewin..."

The once floating water now sprayed all over the floor. A little happy that she's with Lydia, but a little disappointed that she's with another human. "It's that new girl." She commented as she remembered the dark skinned girl's face. She nodded a little, thinking that it's a chance given by the heavens. She then turned to look at herself again at the mirror, her eyes staring at their counterpart.

"All students are asked to report to the assembly room to pick up luggage and receive their room keys, as well as any other announcements. If your haven't purchased them already, school uniforms are available in the assembly room for ordering or pick-up if you've preordered prior to your entrance."

After a few moments of eye to eye contact with herself, she took out one lace of white ribbon from her dress' pocket, then took the mass of her long, red hair and tied it in a sturdy, but gentle looking ponytail. A few strands of hair fell beside her face and her bangs was still in its place. After securing her hair, she turned around to the door, walking towards the assembly room.

After a while, she found herself in front of the entrance of the assembly room. Although she would like to wait for the other guides, she didn't want to see the guy with dark skin. A sigh escaped her lips as she entered the doors. Seeing the grandoise of its interior, a few blinks of her eyes were given. She then started to look for her preordered uniform, a size S. Taking a few sets of it, she then looked for her luggage. Her bag was a vintage looking beige suitcase with a faded red pattern of roses secured with dark brown belts to secure it. She roamed around the room, hoping to find it among the other belongings. I hope it's not heavy She silently prayed in her head due to the fact that it was her mother who fixed her stuff.

Clyde

Clyde smiled at Scarlatti, giving her one that actually looked genuine. One that was much different from any smiles he’d given Felicia.

‘That foolish girl.’ He thought to himself, finishing up his food. The food certainly was good. It had to be one of the best things he’d eaten in a while and that was saying a lot. Okay… It wasn’t saying much. Clyde certainly hadn’t been living in luxury. So something like this was… welcomed. He truly did welcome it.

His eyes flickered over to Felicia when she muttered to him before glancing around to see if anyone else had heard. Had no one else been hearing the prissy little comments she’d been throwing at him since they’d gotten into the cafeteria? He could feel his blood racing as his cheeks tinted just a bit with annoyance, frustration, and anger. Why was she such a pest? He took a deep breath before looking into her eyes as a smirk came to his face.

“Jealousy isn’t cute my love.” He muttered to her before leaning back in his chair with a yawn. “Despite the beauty you have, being a vicious little bitch doesn’t exactly scream for someone to want you.”

He watched as Felicia stood up and walked over to the other two. He leaned back to the table, his elbows resting on the table and his chin in his hands as she walked off. He licked his lips, watching the luscious red hair. He liked the way she walked. It held a type of confidence to it that he hadn’t necessarily seen with anyone else.
‘She’s certainly a feisty one…’ He thought to himself as a small grin appeared on his face. ‘She’ll certainly make the school here… Interesting. I’m going to enjoy seeing her around.’

He looked up once more when he heard the announcements, listening intently to the names before nodding his head. Nothing changed for him. That much was for sure. He rose an eyebrow at the sound of their luggage and room keys being ready and stood up, looking over at their guides. “Can we go now? I would like to see my room.” He said, looking over at them. If they didn’t want to than he’d certainly go off by himself and look for it.

_______

Leilani

Leilani huffed when the boy didn’t bother answering her and nodded her head. If he wanted to be like that then fine. She stood, glancing over at Lydia and seeing another one of her cousins. What was his name again? She knew him. Her family had pounded the names of every family member into her head.

‘Warren…’ She thought with a small nod. ‘His name is Warren… I’ll speak to him later. For now I think it’d be best if I went to go pester Felicia…’ She thought to herself, exiting the cafeteria and walking down the halls.

As she walked down the hallways of the glorious school, her eyes flickered up towards the ceiling when the intercom came alive once again. She listened intently to the words coming out of their principal’s mouth and sighed in sadness when she found that she wouldn’t be in the same room as her sister anymore.

“I really wanted to room with her…” Leilani mumbled to herself, deciding to continue walking. That was too bad. But at least she’d be with another one from her family. Annalyne… She’d get to become closer to one of her family members. That was always a good thing in her books. She made her way to the assembly room and got her own uniform and went over to her bags. She grabbed it all with ease, picking it up and walking around as her eyes scanned over the room. She saw Felicia and was tempted to call out to the girl but decided against it. She could talk later. For now it was probably best to just get to her room.

Otto tugged on his scarf. Mute boys don't do particularily well in social settings, and he wasn't skilled in starting conversation. The mental presence was romantically tense, as he watched Felicia face flush, their banter aggressive and threatening. He felt bad for her. Constantly being in other's minds allows one to see a spectrum of emotions, and love, limerance and fancy were the most embarrassing. Made people do stupid things. Made them look stupid.

Otto whisked out of the cafeteria, slipping unnoticed. The announcement ensuing his departure surprised him. They had put the most active socialites of the cafeteria in the same rooms. Also, he didn't have the boy who gave him the notebook anymore. He liked that notebook. He did remember Jono though. He was the tired one. Otto quickly found himself in the dorm wing, surrounded by the plush common room chairs and gilded walls. He was Dorm 12A. Dorm 12A. Otto wanted out. Out of the stuffy halls and the angry vampires and confused humans. Pushing open the door, his belongings were neatly piled on his bed. Just a book and a jar of rocks. With several strides, he crossed the luxurious dorm room and opened the window, and despite his tall stature quietly and gracefully slipped into the cool night.

"...For the boys dorms, in Dorm 1a Jono T. Leigh, Murdoch N. Binghams, Warren L. Frasier. In.... Dorm 12a Dante Sears, Otto F. Bingham, Graiye M. Archanid. In.... Dorm 17a Clyde Coit, Edric R. Lewin, Demetrius B. Lewin..."

Another announcement played overhead, bringing Warren to pause and listen. He was still in the same room with the same people, if he had remembered. Warren moved back from his cousin, tucking his hands into his pockets. It didn't seem like she had noticed him, and a bitter part of him couldn't blame her. His voice was always quiet - even when he was angry, he didn't raise his voice - so it wasn't an uncommon occurrence for people to not hear him, especially in a crowded, loud area like this. The announcement had distracted everyone in the cafeteria, and his courage to talk dwindled until he dropped his hand and stepped away. He turned and headed to the far wall of the cafeteria, hating the way his tongue tied and his throat went dry whenever he tried to speak to anyone, even his family. He ignored the way his anger made his skin itch to change into anything other than is overly tall, out of place, and lanky body, clenching his hand into a too tight fist for a false sense of control as another announcement blared overhead.

"All students are asked to report to the assembly room to pick up luggage and receive their room keys, as well as any other announcements. If your haven't purchased them already, school uniforms are available in the assembly room for ordering or pick-up if you've preordered prior to your entrance."

Shoving his hands into his pockets, Warren immediately headed to the assembly room to avoid being caught in the crowd, as he had let himself be before. He had one medium sized duffle bag that had everything he needed; casual clothing, toiletries, school supplies, and his laptop. Thus, his bag was nearly light as a feather, and he threw the bag over his shoulder, picking up his preordered and custom-made uniforms (his pants needed to be lengthened, along with the sleeves) from the very busy woman handing them all out.

While he had been eager to meet some of his dorm-mates, he didn't think he was in the state to be in proximity to a human. Running a pale hand through his dark hair, Warren exited the too crowded assembly room and into the hallway. He quickly went over to one of the windows and unlocked the latch, pushing it open and allowing the cool air to clear his senses. It wasn't the ideal - ideal would be running around outside as some beast - but this would do for now. He just needed the fresh air to clear his head.

Otto sat on the roof of the school, absent-mindedly dragging his fingertips across the tiled roof. The fresh air had relaxed him some, but he was tired and hungry. Though he didn't mind the humans, their presense would disturb his usual feeding and that would be troublesome to Otto's hunger and the human's safety. The corners of his mouth unwittingly pulled down, he looked at nothing particular in the distance, his long legs dangling from the ledge.

Otto heard a window unlatching with a snap, his eyes wandering up the roof he had climbed down. A pretty boy's face leaned out, with dark hair and quiet eyes. He wondered whether or not he should say something. Not in the literal sense, of course, but he wasn't one of the humans. His mind quickly going back and forth, he decided against it. The boy would approach him if he liked. Turning his head to the horizon once again, Otto dropped a rock to the roof below him, at least alerting the boy of his presence.

Walking through the milling crowd of students, Edric tried to get a glimpse of his royal blue suitcase. "There are too many people here," he muttered. Someone hurried by, brushing against his arm and he quickly pulled back, cursing unintentionally under his breath. This was why he hated crowds. Scanning the line of luggage along the wall, he recognized his belongings stacked in the corner and quickly went to retrieve it. He hooked his leather briefcase on his arm and slung the violin case over his shoulder before pulling his suitcase along to the table where the staff was giving out room keys and student uniforms. Edric slid his I.D. over wordlessly and readjusted the cuff of his sleeve while they went to retrieve his preordered clothing, as well as his room key. "Edric R. Lewin, 17A?" He gave a curt nod of confirmation, pocketing the key and tucking the package under his arm.

Edric was already regretting how much he had packed, with the violin case strap digging into his shoulder and the wheeled suitcase rolling over the toes of other students. Ignoring the expletives and the strings of "Watch it!", he stopped in front of his dorm room and quickly unlocked it, before lugging his stuff in. Hm… Looks like nobody else is here yet. I'll have this place to myself, if only for a while. He leaned his briefcase and his violin case against the foot of one of the lower beds to claim it. The next thing on the to-do list: unpacking. He dragged his suitcase into the walk-in wardrobe and unfolded his clothing, hanging them up one by one and even organizing them by occasion. Finally, he ripped open the packaging for his uniform and hung that up too, to get rid of the creases. He felt a little calmer now, a bit more in control despite the fact that his situation hadn't changed one bit.

Checking another item off mentally, Edric decided to write to his mother about this whole "rooming with a human" business; she was a discreet and sensible woman, and he wanted her to give him words of comfort and advice. His father… he wouldn't take kindly to this news at all and at this point in time, Edric really didn't want to deal with any angry rampaging. Setting down a piece of thick parchment on the desk, he began lettering out his regards and his complaints in a neat, uniform cursive. Of course, he'd make it sound like he'd kept some semblance of calm upon receiving the news. The only sound to be heard in the room was the scratching of the nib against paper and the ticking of the clock...

"Oops. Looks like I'm late."

Raven wasn't very sorry though. She didn't want to be here and this was a bad attempt at expulsion maybe, but probably not. The silver haired unfeminine vampire would have to get over it though. She pulled her cell phone out and groveled at the text binging on it's screen.

'If you try to get out of this one more time...' Raven didn't they needed to threaten her into coming to school. She liked school, just not this one or anyone that the Binghams forced he to go to. "If I'm lucky they might put me out of my misery and banish me from the family," Raven already knew there was no chance of that happening. Her gold eyes looked up at the academy's sturdy walls. "It can't be that bad," She said wearily as she began to feel butterflies in the pit of her stomach.

Raven headed to the office to check in. She needed to get her dorm assignment and class schedule. The interior looking much less menacing as its outdoor counterpart. There were some but few students milling around, a good sign perhaps. She looked around her, confused for starters. Where was the office? "Well that's just magnificent. I'm totally lost," She mumbled darkly to herself.

Despite the fact that Warren usually wasn't easily startled, he all but jumped out of his skin when a rock went whistling by his ear. He looked up by instinct, only spotting the faint flutter of a scarf in the wind from the top of the roof. He pushed himself away from the ledge, puzzled over the thought that someone had purposely been trying to get his attention. It wasn't malicious or mean spirited in intent, because if it had been, the rock would've been thrown with the full force of a vampire onto the crown of his skull. Warren ran his hand through his hair, as his other hand grabbed his belongings. Who would possibly want his attention? He wasn't especially remarkable. Maybe someone just wanted some company, but Warren wasn't exactly... ideal. He could barely talk at the best of times, and words often choked him until he decided not to talk. But if he could go up, maybe they were especially chatty. Then he could just listen.

Yeah, he could do that.

Resolve strengthened, Warren grabbed his keys and headed to the dorm, his pace slightly quickened, oddly enough. He wasn't sure why he was excited. Perhaps at the prospect of someone actually going out of their way to try to interact with him. Nevertheless, the suspicious part of him was stamped down for now; he needed to get out of his comfort zone at some points, and if that meant he had to climb on the roof to do that, so be it. Tossing his luggage onto one of the apparently free bunks, Warren shrugged off his jacket in case it got caught on something, then unlocked the window of his dorm and pushed it wide open. This wasn't the first time he had climbed out of a window, but it was certainly his first time doing it in human form. Usually, he'd take the form of some bird and fly off, but he wasn't risking the wrath of the headmistress in case the human sharing his dorm walking in on him shifting. So, good old fashioned way it was.

Theoretically, it was easier for him to just find a staircase leading up to the roof, but that ran the risk of being caught by a teacher or some other staff member, and the Gothic structure gave him plenty to grip. He didn't have a problem with reach or strength, as he had both in spades, and before he even knew it, he was pulling himself up onto the roof. The slant was difficult to walk on, he'd admit, but not impossible, so he carefully made his way over to the section of the roof above the assembly roof. It took him twice the time it had taken him when he walking inside the building, but he wasn't going to let himself fall to his death or force himself to shift in a panicked freefall. That never, ever, ever went well.

As he reached the point where he had been leaning out the window, he found out who had dropped the rock on his head. He had shaggy, dark blonde, practically brown hair, and big brown eyes. One of his most prominent traits weren't even a part of him; it was the large scarf he had thrown around his shoulders and covering half his face. He looked like he was a bit shorter than Warren, and, strangely, he looked really familiar for some reason, but off the top of his head, he couldn't place.

A sudden, terrifying thought occured to Warren just as he was about to speak, What if the rock throw was by accident? If it was, that would've made him being up here look absolutely ridiculous, on top of the fact that it would be awkward with or without the misunderstanding. Taking his chances, Warren spoke up, though that barely above a mumur, "Did you drop the rock on my head on purpose to talk to me? Or do I look like an idiot right now?" It came out a lot more confident than he thought it would, which gave him a great deal of pride in himself. He smiled a bit, though he knew he looked awkward and shy.

Felice roamed around the area, looking over the various suitcases and luggage looking for a certain vintage bag. After a few minutes of looking for it, she finally found the said suitcase below a few numbers of bags. She stared at it a few moments, silently praying to whoever's out there to make her luggage manageable. Although her strength as a vampire exceeds the humans' capabilities, she doesn't really want to put an effort in it, she was mentally tired. Sighing, she grabbed it with slight ease. She groaned, it was heavy in a way that she needed to give her best a little. While pulling her bag, she noticed a fairly familiar gush of pink hair and dark skin. The redhead's eyes brightened a little, it was Leilani, one of the few vampires with dark skin. Her petite structure rushed over the woman, a smile on her face.

"Leilani!" She called out, while slowing beside the girl. The girls weren't really that close yet, seeming that Felicia was still a first year but she really liked the other girl's appearance as well as aura. And she'll probably ask about the dark skin later. "I haven't seen you for a while. Would you like to go to the dorms together?" The natural redhead asked with a small and pretty grin. Unlike humans, she loved the presence of her kin and the fact that she stayed all alone with her family for so long added to her giddiness. She wanted to talk to Leilani about certain things, actually, lot of things. The humans, her future classes, about Lydia. There was so much to know. But what she wanted to do most was vent out her frustration about a certain young man with dashing eyes and lusciously dark skin. The thought of him made her eyes roll a little but she just sighed, Why am I even thinking about that guy? She mentally debated with herself, a small flush of pink appearing again.

Turning into the assembly room, Demetrius allowed his green gaze to roam about the room until he'd caught sight of his luggage, which sat in the far right corner. He walked over, throwing the weight over his shoulder with no regard to just how heavy it was, before turning to glance over at the uniform table. Shoving by the human that already stood there, ignoring her indignant "Hey!" he retrieved his own previously ordered clothes from the school store, looking them over distastefully. Sighing as he dropped the suitcase with a clank onto the floor, Demetrius unzipped the all-blue suitcase and dropped the new clothing in there. Now all he needed his room key. Pushing through the line behind the table entitled ROOM KEYS, he pasted an innocent smile onto his lips as he ignored the annoyed groans behind him he took up his own.

Lifting it up once more, he headed towards the schools exit, for the dorms were located outside. Plenty of students, a lot more then nessecary crowded the hallway. Pushing away a brief claustrophobia, Demetrius almost fell backwards trying to right himself after nearly crashed into a silver-haired vampire who looked rather lost, maybe a bit confused? He hadn't seen her before, so she had obviously just arrived. But that wasn't enough of an excuse for nearly crashing into him!

"Watch it, will you, you clumsy git!"

He snapped in her general direction, adjusting the suitcase into a more stable, well-balanced position on his shoulder and shooting the clumsy perpetrator a glare. He didn't have the time or the energy to yell at her some more, getting a good bed depended on his reaching his dorm before any others. Shoving by her in a rather hypocritical manner, he fought his way through the crowd until he'd reached the schools exit. On either side of the school were the two dorms, the boys on the left, the girls on the right. Demetrius walked across the left side of the campus until he'd reached the dorm building for the boys. A brief nervousness filled him as he allowed his hand to settle on the door, pulling it open.

Her heart skipped a beat as he returned the smile, her brown gaze lowering to the ground as she fought back a giggle. He was handsome, and just looking at him made her heart flutter. More words burst from Clyde's lips, and she glanced over at him, confused before realizing that he wasnt addressing her. He was instead flirting with the pretty red-haired girl beside him. Ruefully, Scarlatti tore her eyes away from the scene. A voice occupied the room and Scarlatti raised her head towards the ceiling, where she felt the intercom system might be. She held her breath as she listened for her name. Hopefully she would be with some nice people.

With her name were spoken two others, a Felicia and a Lydia, and Scarlatti peered about the room, imagining which name belonged to who. Getting to her feet, Scarlatti wondered where the assembly room was located as she glanced at the less awkward looking students for help on arriving there.

Leilani

A smal sigh escaped the girl's' lips as she looked around, trying to figure out just where in the world her bag was. Why did this always seem to happen to her? Since freshmen year, she'd always had trouble with trying to collect her things. She wasn't exactly sure why she had so much trouble but figured it was due to the fact that she could be a bit out there at times and forget just what she had done.

"Now where in the world..." She mumbled to herself before a small 'oh' left her. With a grin, she walked over to the two bags and picked them up with ease, grinning happily to herself. She looked up in surprise when she heard her name being called, her eyes landing on the familiar red hair. A smile came to her face as she stood up straight, smiling at Felicia. "Hey there Felicia," She greeted, giving her a small wave as she began walking with a nod. "Certainly, let's go. How have you been?" She asked, grinning back at Felicia.

She took note of the small eye roll the younger female did and smirked. "Has someone gotten on your nerves already little miss temper?" Leilani teased the girl lightly, dodging out of the way of some student and sending them a disapproving look before turning back to look at her friend.

Clyde

Of course the guides they had were insolent fools. Two had decided to leave while the other one was just sitting there. He'd been waiting patiently for someone to take them to that stupid place so he could get all of his things, and just go sleep. He was exhausted yet they were still in this place.

"Yeah, I'm not going to wait for this bull." He muttered, grabbing his one bag and standing up with a stretch. "I'm sure I can find my own way."

He exited the cafeteria, standing in front of the doors for a few minutes, eyes peering around. He noticed that most of the students were headed one way and easily followed, slipping into the crowd. Some of the students seemed to be giving him odd looks but he didn't care. He just wanted his stuff and to meet his roommates. He was sure of having met one earlier- the glaring, mopey guy who had talked to Felicia. Not that he really cared. If the guy suddenly had some sort of problem with him then it was whatever. Clyde couldn't stop someone's feelings. He finally found the area, grabbing what he needed before exiting to go find his room.

After about twenty minutes of confused waking and multiple people directing him he finally found it. With a grin, he made his way over to it, wondering if his roommates were inside. This will be a fun year.

Raven

Balancing herself as some blonde boy nearly bowled her over, Raven made a startled sound as he insulted her and left. She had never been talked to like the way he spoke. What a foul mouth that certainly doesn't match his cute appearance. Fury in small sizes, she guessed. "Rude wanker. He was the one who almost knocked me over." Raven chose to take the high road and just get in line for her room key. She already had her uniform, her things were delivered beforehand, and she just needed to take her bag to whichever room she was staying at. She just hoped there weren't anymore presumptuous jerks around. She hoped she wouldn't have to see that boy again. The only thing Raven felt she was looking forwards to was seeing Otto, a member of the family and one of the only vampires she really liked. It'd been years since they last saw each other. She wondered if he was still as emotionless as he was as a child.Probably.

Once she got to the administrations office Raven walked over to the desk and dinged the bell. "Hello? I'm supposed to get my room assignment here right?"

The green haired lady behind the desk glanced up distractedly from her book, as the girl's voice rang out, accompanied by the loud ring of the bell. Her lips curled up into the beginnings of a sleepy smile as she scooted forward in her seat.

"Right. Raven Bingham, correct? I'll be the nurse here, by the way. Nurse Charity." the greenette didn't wait for a response from the silver-haired girl before continuing, her hand disappearing into her desk as she removed a white sheet of simple line paper, running her finger down the long list until she'd stopped at the 'R's'.

"You'll be in dorm 21A, taking Lydia's place, as she has (disappeared from the role-play) dropped out of our fine school. You can take your key right now."

Handing her the key, the lady's eyes disappeared back into the book that lay in her lap.

Their guides seemed to have abandoned them, and finding herself to be the only left in the room as Clyde exited as well, Scarlatti followed him hastily. She wasn't sure where anything in the school was, as she'd missed the school tours given earlier that month. Lifting up her bag and breaking into a run too keep up with the fast walking boy, she found herself losing him in the crowd of kids and instead having to rely on where the crowd pushed her. She stood in line for a while before getting her key, shooting the woman behind the table a small grin as she headed towards her dorm.

It wasn't hard to find the girls dorm, as a group of girls stood behind it, squealing about nothing in particular. Smiling at them as she hurried around them, she was surprised to see the hostile glances she was shot in return, as well as the predatory way they eyed her. Pushing open the door to the girls dorms, she pushed away her nervous feelings. Her room mates, Raven and Felicia was it? Would be a lot nicer. Hopefully.
