Fandom Broken Cycle (Legend Of Zelda)

Meanwhile Haron had entered a back room and was busy getting a way into the upper areas where he could hide.

It wasn't easy but he took it slowly and quietly so as not to get caught.

Trex started as the black tendrils surrounded both him and the Darknut, and he looked about to discover where it came from.

"Step away from each other. NOW. This pointless fighting achieves nothing.

"Or, I separate you. The choice is yours."

His head snapped over to the tall Twili. His eyes were like two coals, and the Goron snarled.

"You're a fool, to interrupt a duel of honor. Release your magic, lest you draw yourself into our 'debate'"

Trex's fists tightened, and the angry rumble in his chest was very audible. His gaze turned to the young Sheikah standing in the midst of the fight.

"You'd do well to leave, also, lest you be crushed. I would not have spectators injured or dead."

Suddenly, Impa leapt between them, her large sword raised in the air. "KNOCK IT OFF! BOTH OF YOU!" she ordered, her voice cracking like a whip, as her gaze bored first into the Goron, but then the Darknut. "IS THIS HOW YOU REPRESENT YOUR KINGDOMS!? BY SQUABBLING LIKE CHILDREN?"

"No."

Trex's rage now faced Impa, but his fists lowered.

"This is how beings reclaim honor."

Slowly moving out of the shadows and around Impa, he held a hand out to his opponent.

"You are a mighty fighter, Darknut. Trex Thunderfist is honored to have fought you."

Grabbing his arm, outstretched or not, the Goron yanked the Darknut to his feet. He looked into the other's eyes.

"We shall finish this later. I'm unsatisfied. As I imagine are you."

Having helped the Darknut up, the Goron strode back into the mess hall and headed for his table.

Zael watched the proceddedings carefully, feeling his magic almost beg to be used, to crush, to rip, to tear. He pushed that urge down, keeping a tight grasp on the shadow tendrils that encircled the two fighters.

"You're a fool, to interrupt a duel of honor. Release your magic, lest you draw yourself into our 'debate'" The Goron spoke with a rumbling tone. Zael did his best not to sneer. They did understand his magic would crush them like grapes right? It would be far harder to separate the dueling behemoths than it would be to kill them. The Goron also offered a vieled threat to Amice, Zael absently noticed, while he struggled with his magic’s urge to show off.

“"KNOCK IT OFF! BOTH OF YOU!" Impa ordered, her voice cracking like a whip, as her gaze bored first into the Goron, but then the Darknut. "IS THIS HOW YOU REPRESENT YOUR KINGDOMS!? BY SQUABBLING LIKE CHILDREN?" Zael gave a slight shiver. That was abrupt. His eyes tracked in on the other two, waiting for a twitch of aggression. Should they try anything, he would gladly squish them. No! This time, Zael almost screamed mentally. I will stop them. Not squish them.

The Goron finally relented, declaring he was honored ot have fought the Darknut, and turned to leave. Zael finally let the spell fall apart, feeling mentally exhausted. Holding his magic together that long was hard work, especially when it wanted nothing more than to rip kill and destroy.

“Now…” He muttered, turning towards the other Twili. Kylista, she said her name was? With a swift step, and then a burst of levitation, he crossed the room to her, for once attempting to looking imposing and scary. The girl needed to realize this was war, and people would die. He glared down at her, eyes narrow. It was hard enough to protect the Twili from outside threats, he thought to himself, but from themselves? Ugh.

“You do understand what is at stake her girl?” His voice grated out, as he tried to keep his anger in check. “This is war. No place for children. If you think threatening those two with loss of desert is the best way to handle the situation, then I suggest you return to the Twilight Realm. I would don’t want to have to bring your family your corpse.” Spinning away, before the other Twili could answer, Zael stormed into the mess hall, taking care not to slam the door behind him, trying to calm his whirling thoughts. It seemed her threat worked. Even Amice didn't want the two of them to lose their dessert. She smiled and gave herself a mental pat on the back as both Amice and Zael took actions to interfere with the ongoing brawl. The little sheikah looked terribly out of place, but she held her ground firmly, which Kylista found admirable. As if awakening from a prolonged shock from her prior outburst, Impa finally got involved as well, her voice over-powering anything else going on. At this point, the female Twili was quite sure Impa could shout down an entire army. Even if they didn't stop, the sheer volume and fierceness would give them pause at least. However, the tense air surrounding the two bruisers was still there, perhaps even heavier than before.

Finally, Trex decided against fighting and spoke as he roughly helped the darknut up. "We shall finish this later." Kylista sighed. They were only done for now it seemed, but at least that was something. Since she assumed the debacle was over, she went to head back towards the mess hall as well, but paused as she felt a presence bearing down on her. Turning to face Zael, she started to smile, but sensing the poorly veiled anger, the corners of her mouth turned downwards into a curious frown. She couldn't help but wonder what he felt was so necessary to get up in her face about, well, as in her face as he was, given his current height. "You do understand what is at stake here girl?" He queried. Anything else he said afterwards to Kylista was lost. She stopped paying attention to him after the last word of his question.

The smaller twili remained unmoving, only registering something was standing in front of her and she didn't like that. As she was about to turn and move away from said object, it chose to move first, floating off towards . . . Well, she didn't know. Nor did she care at the moment. She spoke to the empty air. "My name is Kylista." There was no pizzazz.

Amice glared at the two fighters as she stood in between them, about to pull her daggers out if needed, but stopped, noticing that some strange black tendrils were looming over behind both the Goron and Darknut, like fingers, threatening to wrap around them. Some sort of magic? Although she couldn’t see him, she heard Zael speaking, his voice a growl. He must’ve been the one responsible. The Goron snarled in response, giving out a threat of his own before glaring at Amice with eyes the color of coals.

"You'd do well to leave, also, lest you be crushed. I would not have spectators injured or dead."

The young Shiekah sneered, not afraid in the slightest. Even if he did attack, she was sure she could dodge his blows, no matter how powerful they were. The darknut’s she wasn’t so sure of. “I don’t think so.” She retorted. “It’s my and the Chief’s job to prevent you from injuring others members of this army. Know your place.” She looked at the Darknut. “You as well.”

Whatever the Darknut said in reply, his words were unheard as Impa jumped in, brandishing her sword as she bellowed, “KNOCK IT OFF! BOTH OF YOU! IS THIS HOW YOU REPRESENT YOUR KINGDOMS!? BY SQUABBLING LIKE CHILDREN?" The red head wondered what had taken her so long. A part of her felt guilty for what had happened only minutes prior, but she put it aside, deciding to ponder it later.

Amice watched as Trex’s fists clenched and unclenched repeatedly. “No.” He ground out, facing Impa. “This is how beings reclaim honor.” Amice inwardly snorted. Proud fool. Then, much to her surprise, the Goron went over to pull the Darknut up. Standing proud, he complimented his fellow fighter, saying they weren’t over, before storming to the mess hall, Zael’s magic no longer in his way.

Unable to help but sigh in relief, she looked up at the Darknut, feeling more confident with Impa at her side. “Well?” She said pointedly. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Softwer and Soto against the other wall, looking confused at what was going on.

Impa scowled, and was about to congratulate the two on acting like civillized beings, when she froze. Impa was the chief of the Sheikah Tribe, meaning she had access to many tricks up her sleeves. Throughout the manor, were painted symbols of the Sheikah eye.

il_fullxfull.391682328_r6xe.jpg

These symbols were imbued with magical properties, allowing the user to use them was wards of sorts, alerting their creator when someone passed by them. Normally, Impa was rather annoyed when some random guard walked by them and triggered it, but today she had no guards stationed there, or patrolling anywhere near that section of the manor. Most of the guards were out front. "I have to go, Amice, stay here." Impa said suddenly, sprinting down the corridor, sliding her giant blade out of its sheath as she ran, holding it beside her.

Meanwhile, a small red eye was painted on the wall across from where Haron entered, and he got the feeling he was being watched. Soft foot falls could be heard, padding against the floor, as Impa charged into view, her sword pointed at Haron's chest. He stood there, ready to pounce, until she recognized him.
"You!" she spat, literally spat upon the floor. "Would you mind informing me where in all hells you have been since Hyrule has fallen? You stopped showing up a bit before our Queen Zelda was kidnapped! I had half the mind to hunt you down and execute you myself, but it seems you have brought yourself to me!" suddenly, four more Sheikah appeared beside her from both sides of the hallway, glaives and daggers in hand. "Now, I suggest you come with me, before we have to get a little too physical," she snarled.

' sloppy...' Haron thought, looking across the room to the eye on the wall.

"Yea yea relax...I'll explain but let's not hurt anyone... mainly your men." Haron replied, raising his hands in a sign of surrender.

Hopefully impa would listen to what he had to say as he had quite a good reason. She just had to listen. That in itself might be a problem.

Impa growled. "Or, I could decapitate you before you blinked. Spit out your reason." she said, her arms crossed over her chest, leaning on her sword. She was not in the mood for this sort of thing right now, and if she had to, she and her Sheikah would kill him, Royal blood or not.

"Oh okay, get mad at me when no one bothered to try and find me! No one left me any letters! You know how I found this place? I got lucky and followed the Darknut! You act like you've cared about my disappearance but your actions tell otherwise." Haron growled back in frustration.

Impa chuckled a little. "Because no one cared Haron." she said. "You left the Royal Family, your SISTER! When they needed you most, and you act surprised that we don't care about you leaving? You act surprised when you realize that no one cared if you lived or died?"

"No I act surprised when I find myself to be the only damned one that tried to find her!"

Haron shouted angrily.

"Where in the hell were you?! You sure as hell weren't trying to find her! Otherwise you might have been there to help me when I got this!" He shouted, turning to pull his shirt up and reveal a wickedly long wound, freshly healed, carved along his outer back on the left side.

Impa scowled at that, looking hurt for a moment, "I was busy fighting a war, Haron! I've been busy fighting a losing battle against Varon! I've been watching men die, crying for the families that have already died! I've been burying the corpses of brave men and women, who stood and fought to defend their homes, while you ran!" she shouted at him, ignoring his wound.

"Exactly! You've done your duty and I've tried to do mine but I'll be damned if I let you act as if I've done nothing!" Haron growled.

"Maybe you should have figured out what I was doing before you make claims like that." He added with a more controlled tone, trying to calm down.

Shasro'mon Ahel Kismus-tyaz Ginba'ne

(So much to catch up on ;A; Please tell me if I miss anything or ignore anyone.. I'm so sorry it's so late, (and kinda bad..) but I'll hopefully be able to post more regularly from now!)

"If you two don't stop, there will be no desserts for either of you!" he heard someone call as he began to get up on one knee. He chuckled briefly. Idiot, definitely, yet had an admirable sense of humour. Or were they really that stupid?..

He was about to get up, just as the red-headed Sheikah appeared between them. Yet he was completely thrown off when that male Twili slammed his hands into the floor, and summoned magic.

He bristled, his fur rising on end as his eyes widened and stared in fury and trepidation at the shadows, snarling and spitting like a cornered animal. Magic. He hated that backstabbing, cheap, unnatural form of 'fighting' with a passion. A shudder ran through his tense body, crouched on the floor as his eyes were fixated und unmoving from the writhing darkness.

He heard the Goron speak, and despite his pride not wanting to, he agreed with him. Yet he said nothing, too busy staring intently at the abomination that had been summoned against them. He jumped (although he would never admit it) when Impa yelled. He whipped his head around to face her, always keeping an eye on the shadows.

"Knock it off! Both of you! Is this how you represent your kingdoms?! By squabbling like children?"

He opened his mouth to speak, yet the Goron got there first.

"No. This is how beings reclaim honour."

He growled in approval. He had newfound respect for this Goron... He would not forgive his insults in a hurry, though.

He reluctantly took the Goron's arm, and got to his feet.

"You are a mighty fighter, Darknut. Trex Thunderfist is honoured to have fought you."

"The honour is mine, Trex Thunderfist of the Gorons. You are as strong as a Darknut Legionnaire. My name is Shasro'mon Ahel Kismus-tyaz Ginba'ne, but I go by the simple name of Shasro'mon." he replied, eyes locked in a similar fashion. "And we shall."

As Trex moved away to where he came from, Shasro'mon picked up his axe. He bared his teeth under the helmet and growled, giving his own warning to the Twili called Zael to call off his magic.

Yet he was distracted once more by the red-head.

"Well?"

He raised an eyebrow at her, and also at Impa, who suddenly turned 180 and ran off, drawing her sword, giving absolutely no insight on what she was doing. Shasro'mon turned back to the other one, now alone. He reached up, and pulled off his dark helmet. He shook his long midnight black mane free, his pupils dilating in his dark amber eyes in the sudden light. Baring his sharp, jagged white teeth and his pink tongue in a yawn, he looked back down at her with a bored expression on his face.

"Well what?" he rumbled.

Yet his tufted ears pricked up when he faintly heard raised, angry voices coming from the direction Impa sprinted off to. He frowned, gaze still directed at the Sheikah but not looking at her; he was too busy concentrating on trying to make out what they were saying. Yet he corrected himself. It is not your place to go around eavesdropping in Impa's business.. Yet what if it was an intruder? No, Impa's more than capable of defending herself. Just ignore it.

Zephale and Kaelto

Kaelto stared up at the garrison, partially hidden by the erratic, gusting flurries of white. Strands of his long black hair blew across his face in the wind; he didn't mind the cold, yet another did.

"Could you please just stop dawdling like a 5 year old and get out of the cold?" Zephale murmured, her slender, tall form practically shaking, her arms wrapped around her midriff. Her feet floated a few inches off of the snow; her entire form was shrouded in a kind of shifting, shadowy black, yet the turqoise runes that covered her body glowed brightly, along with her red eyes which were focused on the ground. Her two bright turqoise scarves fluttered merrily behind her, glowing like the patterns on her body.

Kaelto sighed.

"Could you please just shut up?"

Her brow furrowed as she looked back up and glared at him. Asshole.

They had been stuck with each other far longer than either of them wanted, yet they had been going the same way, so it was just convenient. It was at the point when they were continuously arguing with each other, yet they always somehow kept each other's backs.

However his personality did worry her slightly. Even from the small, brief moments she had seen, he scared her a little. Yet she didn't admit it, and never would.

He rested his hand on the hilt of his sword, and started trudging up through the snow once more. Zephale floated on her back beside him as he walked, holding her hands in front of her with a rather serious, concentrated expression on her face. White sparks flew erratically from her fingertips, sometimes in a bright burst, other times just one or two weak flashes. She bit her lip, eyes focused intently on her fingers. Yet suddenly, a momentarily blinding flash of white-blue light exploded from her hands, making her flinch, quickly shutting her eyes, yet it was gone in an instant. In its place a blueish flame hovered, flickering and waving in the snowy wind. She exhaled, her body relaxing as she tried to warm herself, passing the flame from hand to hand. She idly floated upright again, catching Kaelto watching her with a closed expression.

"What?" she snapped, shooting him a look.

He just looked round again, his expression not even changing, remaining silent. They had finally reached the bridge, and stopped for the guards. They looked frozen, so quickly passed them on through.

They both knew that they were incredibly late. Zephale quickly snuffed the flame, clapping her hands together, and slipped into Kaelto's shadow. Independent of his physical form, his shadow rolled its shoulders and stretched his arms, before settling back into his movement. He opened the heavy door slowly, stepping softly inside and shutting it quietly, stopping the gust of cold air coming through.

He entered the main reception, surveying it with a cold, guarded expression. A Darknut? He had certainly seen them in his time. He had fought against them enough to know he didn't trust this creature. Not in the slightest. He saw in vague surprise that there were other Twilis here. Zephale had been the first, and so he believed, the only Twili he would ever see. Yet now there where two more.

Also, two more were standing off to one side; a Hylian girl in grey, and a Rito. His gaze lingered on this feathered girl with a beak, apparently, as a nose. Two more Twilis and now a Rito. This just got weirder by the second.

Zephale watched everything from a view kind of like Kaelto's, except backwards. Yet when she saw the other Twilis, her heart skipped a beat. She pulled herself away from Kaelto's shadow, her vision returning to normal as her shadowy feet landed softly on the ground. She started to walk tentatively towards the other female Twili, yet suddenly a cold hand grasped her wrist. She whipped around, anger burning in her red eyes.

"What the hell are you doing!?" she hissed furiously.

"I was going to ask the same thing." Kaelto replied flatly.

"I'm finally going to speak with one of my own kind."

She tore her wrist away, watching him for a second before turning and gracefully flowing from his shadow to the Rito's, crossing over to the Hylian girl's. She hesitated as she came up to Kylista. There was a gap between her and the other Twili. Looking around her, she settled on the shadow thrown by the wall and the candle brazier. She slipped through those, finally coming before Kylista. She watched her for a moment.

"..You don't know how good it is to see one of my own kind again." she spoke slowly, a small smile beginning to form on her features. "My name is Zephale. You?"

Kaelto watched Zephale disappear off, feeling a strange kind of emptiness behind him. He didn't like that feisty Twili, oh no. Yet he felt a strange kind of protectiveness, a feeling which he completely detested. An almost unnoticeable frown passed over his features. His hand tightened into a fist. Why?

He looked around once more. This isn't exactly what he had pictured as Hyrule's salvation. But then again, he wasn't exactly a shining role model, a perfect soldier; if anything he was on the other side of the law. Yet here he was.

The front door slammed. He heard it; the dining room was still open to the hall. Great. More young amateurs. Oh well.

"Well what?"

Trex turned. The Darknut was frowning down at the little Sheikah. The Darknut: Shasro'mon. He'd have to get used to thinking about him that way. Shas' head suddenly whipped to the side as Impa sped by. The Goron thought he might follow her, but he didn't. Instead, an almost...pensive look crossed his face. An equally thoughtful look filled Trex's. He called out.

"Shas."

The Goron waved invitingly and turned back to walk to his table.

"My name is Zephale. You?" Like a candle flickering to life, Kylista livened. That sounded like an introduction! Already preparing her own introduction, her words briefly caught in her throat. She assumed the speaker was one of the ones she'd seen, but not formally met. However, the face before hers was completely new, and a twili no less. Hopefully this one was less uppity than the wide one. Recovering from her momentary shock, Kylista smiled wide. "Greetings, Zephale. I am Kylista, Sister of Twilight and Emissary of Dusk." That was a good one, she thought. It had a nice ring to it.

"As you say, it's very nice to see another twili hear." She leaned forward a bit, putting a hand to the side of head and whispering. "The other one is kinda grumpy." Straightening her posture and coughing not-so-subtly she continued. "Speaking of grumpy, it seems the sheikah is off somewhere, but that's probably a good thing . . . As such, as a fellow twili, I'll welcome you to this very bland, frozen piece of landscape with none of the lavishes of home. But they do have potatoes, so it's okay!" Briefly, Kylista considered both her own words and those of the twili Zephale. Even she, shut in that she was, longed for reminders of home. For the most part, her pendant was enough, but other living, breathing twili were something all together. Perhaps she shouldn't have fled from the other twili so suddenly, then again, he seemed rather disgruntled by her near presence now.

Shaking her head slight, Kylista turned her attention back to the other female twili. "Come! I'll show you. Oh, and you can put these pretty little stones in them to cool it off." She started into a rambling without even realizing she'd never stated what 'it' was. "I learned that from a goron. Who knew they did anything with rocks other than eat them, right? But it was a shame to cover them in goop. I did so like the way the lights danced in them. I was going to magic some before Mr. Puppy decided to smash our doors in." She started off back towards the mess hall, intent on sharing the potato-y goodness with Zephale. Her mind buzzed with a dozen questions for the other. She had been here to the world several times over the course of a couple years, but she'd never seen another twili in that time. She could only imagine what sort of stories and experiences Zephale might have experienced. "So how long have you been here? Have you seen the castle? What's your favorite food? Where do you keep all those shiny things, umm, ruppees, I think? I can never find someplace convenient to put them and then no one wants to give me anything. Why are these people so attached to those anyways? Doesn't make much sense if you ask me." She recalled Trex's words from before and reckoned Zephale might have an answer. "What's a swimmer? Who's Vol- Val-Volgergeio is?" That didn't seem right, but Kylista didn't care much at the moment. She had one more important question to ask. "Can I daydream at night?"

Softwer sighed a little as the fight was broken up. Thankfully neither the two fighting nor her had their life end right there. Since she didn't have to focus on the fight anymore, she then saw something mildly interesting. She saw another hylian there that was acting strange for some reason. She decided not to focus on him and tried to see where Impa was. Surprisingly to her, she didn't see her in the room right then. Softwer thought that must have went off while she was watching the fight. So she looked at the door to the dining hall. She went back into the place just to be away from the Goron and the Darknut if they decided they hadn't had enough of each other yet. She went towards the table and sat down with her feet on the table. She then started to examine her katana and how she couldn't see her reflection on it anymore since she left her home a while away from Kakariko. I'm going to half to work on you before we leave this place. Hopefully either Impa or one of the many soldiers here has the stuff we need.

Soto was glad the fighting was over. She survived and wasn't crushed by either of the fighters through collateral damage. She then looked at the two former opponents and then at the hylian man that just walked in. To her it looked like that person should have gotten a welcome, from someone. Well it looks like Impa isn't here at the moment and nobody else is going to do it. I guess I half to do it. She then went over to the man and said," Good thing you didn't come here a few minutes before. Anybody that would come up back then would just turn around and leave. But don't worry this place isn't bad, I actually say it's quite a fond group." She then let two seconds to go by ending what she said before she tagged on," I guess you're wondering who this bird-woman next to you is. I'm Soto Fukuro, the Rito postwoman."

Imp growled, but said nothing, storming away, as the other Sheikah had disappeared in flashes of smoke.

She returned to her study, convinced that if anything important happened, her people would bring it to her.

Zephale & Kaelto

Zephale looked vaguely confused, yet rather amused at Kylista's introduction. Her humour was like a breath of fresh air in Zephale's world; after being stuck with Kaelto, for Goddesses know how long, she certainly needed it. He had about the same sense of humour as a brick. A damn scary brick.

She quickly slid over to Kylista's shadow, floating by the other Twili's shoulder.

"'Mr. Puppy'? The Darknut?! You've got to be kidding me.." Zephale laughed, hastily looking over to the armoured figure to see if he had noticed. "That is one of the weirdest yet best nicknames I've heard in a long time.."

She gave this 'Sister of Twilight and Emissary of Dusk' a second look. When she had first approached her, she had seemed.. Almost serious. Rather sombre. Yet now was a completely different story; this Twili might be someone she felt she might just be able to get along with.. Yet she had a lot of questions. Kylista was the first Twili she had seen, yet alone spoken with on her travels in the Light Realm, so naturally she would be curious. Yet she was completely unprepared for the sudden barrage of questions shot her way.

"Whoa, slow down! I can't answer all of those at once!" she exclaimed. "But... I do actually have a question for you, before I answer anything else.. what are potatoes?"

Kaelto, suddenly hearing someone speaking to him, turned to face the Rito person. What had happened a few minutes before?...

"
My name is Kaelto." he said bluntly, never one to play around with words. He remained silent for a while, glancing over to the Darknut again. He wouldn't be surprised if this thing was the cause of all the trouble.

Looking back over to Soto the Rito, he watched her for a second.

"
Since I gather that we are all here now, what next?"

Haron took a deep breath and moved to a wall, leaning against the wall as he took a minute to calm himself. All of Impas scrutiny resulted in bringing back up his memories of his failure and the danger his sister was in and he soon was struggling to hold back his tears and sobs, squeezing his fists until his fingernails cut small moons into his palms. Haron leaned there for a few short minutes until he finally calmed down enough that he was able to stand up and wipe his face and bandage the four small cuts on each hand.

After a moment he exited the room to enter the main gathering area that everyone else was at.

A smile appeared on Kylista's face as the twili spoke. She was definitely more agreeable than the wide one. Her smile quickly shifted to a look of pure shock as Zephale asked her own question. "You . . . Don't know what potatoes are? You poor thing . . . We''ll fix that right up!" She figured that such a delicious food would surely be the first thing introduced to any traveler and the only reason it wasn't used as the basis in all meals was due to the concern of eating all the potatoes in the world. That would be unforgivable. Unless she was the one who ate them all at least.

She felt the need to quickly educate the new twili on the wonders of potatoes. Clearly, she'd been deprived of such things. Tossing a glare back at the man Zephale entered with, she reasoned that he was a dreaded potato hater. There was no other explanation. She pushed into the mess hall and headed straight for the cauldron of stew, talking along the way. "Well, potatoes are the single greatest food in this world. I still can't understand why we don't have any in the twilight realm . . . You can boil them, mash them, fry them, stick 'em in a stew. The possibilities are endless. They even have a defense mechanism by looking like the most plan, uninteresting thing you might ever consider eating, kinda like a brown rock. Oh, and they burrow underground which makes them hard to get sometimes so it's usually best to make someone else get them for you." Arriving at the steaming food, she followed her previous actions of pulling forth two bowls (one for each of them) and filling them with the contents of the cauldron. An extra helping of potatoes followed into each bowl. Hopefully the others wouldn't mind too much.

Holding one of the bowls towards Zephale with magic, she pointed at the chunks of potato within the brown liquid. "There. That's a potato, or part of one anyways. Try it, try it!" She stuck a spoon in the middle of each of the bowls and promptly scooped up a bite and dug in. She whimpered at the intensely hot stew. She'd forgotten just how hot it was in her excitement. Chewing and swallowing quickly, she eyed Trex's table and gave him a wave and a smile, followed by stealing a few of the remaining quartz and dropping them gently into each of the bowls. She stared expectantly at Zephale, silently commanding her to eat, and love, the potatoes.

The bitter cold wind bit and tore at the ragged cloak of the Deku, simple leaves woven into clothing had proved to be less than adequate for the harsh mountain's wrath. With no blood pumping through her wooden body, Asher continued to stump steadily onward through the snow that nearly reached to above her head. A light ahead beckoned with the promise of warmth and dryness, the first to be found on this goddess-forsaken rock.

Nearly a quarter of an hour later, Asher finally leaned against the great oaken doors, pausing to rest her aching joints and creaking bark skin. The cold made her brittle and the moist snow left her feeling water-logged and heavy. A shove and the door creaked open, and Asher was met with a cacophony of noise. There appeared to be a fight happening, though it had just ended, between a Goron of massive size and an equally impressive armoured warrior. So, they might be practicing, keeping up morale. that's the spirit I like to see, she thought to herself. Many of those gathered here scattered after a few seconds, several going into a back room that had the heady smell of food wafting from it. The weight of the door was too much to hold for very long, strong though she was, so she released it gently, and it fell back into place with a muffled thud.

"Asher Thistleaf in search of Impa of the Sheikah Tribe!" She loudly proclaimed this, though her Hylian was less than perfect, hard to pronounce with her stiff Deku mouth. She preferred the clicks and chirrups of her own people's language, but then it would hardly be understood by any. "I have come as a representative of my people, I speak for the Deku Tribes of the Prime Capital Palace, head of the Deku Royal Family." She stooped to one knee, resting her staff on the ground behind her in a show of penitence, not caring who saw her humble entrance. "I pledge mine and my people's service to the fall of Varon."

@SirDerpingtonIV and whoever else may still be present.

"Ah that," Soto said trying to come up with an answer to Kaelto's question," Well we'll probably get started when Impa's ready. She might be expecting more people and might be waiting for them." After a moment, Soto saw the front door open, but no one opening it. Curious, she went towards it to see some small wooden figure at it. At first she thought it was some child's toy, but then it did something unexpected. That toy is talking. Even stranger, it's looking for Impa. In what that wooden thing said had the mention of Deku, which was the name of a great tree that she gives a message to once every now and then from her world. Hmm it could be related to it somehow, I have no idea though. That Great Deku Tree must have a lot of stuff in that Forest Haven I don't know. After that, the thing stooped and pledge to then end of Varon. Soto then crouched down to the plant thing and said," You are the first thing from the Deku here. Well you should talk to Impa for all the info, though I don't know where she is right now." She then shouted,"Impa" to get her over here, but she said it in a way to make it not sound like something wrong is happening.
