Futuristic Brain Burger

Elizabeth held his hand and trembled slightly, holding back her tears as she nods. "O-of course... what do you want to hear Nate...?" she asked softly and sadly, trying to keep her voice from trembling.
 
".. There's some books that Norman got--.. I think--.. I think they're in his room... In a black bag... Can you read me somethin'--.." He pauses for a moment. "Jus' somethin' nice...?" He asks, giving a quiet moan of discomfort. (@Soul OMU)
 
Elizabeth nodded as she got up and walked to hers and Norman's room to find a good book when she noticed Brianna was awake and currently reading a book. "Oh hey Brie, what book is that?" she asked while looking through the books. Brianna looked up from the book. "It's called Sword in the Stone." she said while Elizabeth found a book she figured would be good and got up. "Huh... good book." she said before going back to Nathan's room. (@DrTrollinski)
 
".. What are you gonna' read...?" Nathan asks her, ten seconds after she walks in. His eyes were closed and his body still shook, but since he had eaten, a little more color had returned to his face. (@Soul OMU)
 
".. Okay..." He takes a long deep breath as he snuggles into bed a little more, waiting for Elizabeth to start reading. (@Soul OMU)
 
Elizabeth smiles a bit and take a deep breath before beginning to read. "Long ago... In a far away kingdom, there lived a fair and beautiful princess. This princess was loved by many and sought by all." she started while looking at him. (@DrTrollinski)
 
Nathan would take a deep breath of comfort while Elizabeth reads to him, his body relaxing and his hand moving away from his head. He had food in his stomach and fluids going directly into his body from the fluid drip that was attached to the IV in his arm - that alone had made this morning far more healthy for him, especially after purging his system before he ate. It was still only early at around 7:00am, but they had no idea what time Nathan had actually woken up - for all they knew, he could have been awake all night. (@Soul OMU)
 
Elizabeth smiles a bit as she continues reading. "On the outskirts of town, there lived a strong and fierce-some dragon. He often terrorized the town because the dragon was the one who originally owned the lands. Each year, a young woman would be picked to offer to the Dragon. The princess' younger sister had been picked and this did not sit well with the older sister, so she volunteered instead. Many of the people cried and begged her not to, but she had already made her choice."
 
Nathan's body would let down its defences in his time of sickness and just morph into the mattress; his muscles completely relaxed and he slowly began to drift off to sleep once again; there were bags formed under his eyes to show how deprived of a decent's night sleep he was, but hopefully he was going to make some of that up here.


Norman would be standing at the entrance to the room, quietly watching over the whole interaction with a smile. (@Soul OMU)
 
"The Princess' hands were bound to a pole which was in the center of town. When night had fallen, the dragon made his appearance. His scales shone faintly in the moonlight, but blended into the darkness. He studied the girl as she stared him down, wondering why he didn't just eat her and get on with it. He knew of her sacrifice and thought she was very brave, he made his way to her before telling her he wasn't going to eat her rather he was going to take her away."
 
Nathan fell asleep, his hair partially covering his face while his head rested atop one of his hands that was on the pillow. He was slightly curled up into the fetal position, but he looked happy enough to be sleeping again; the drip bag continued to slowly empty into him, providing his body with the much-needed fluids that were essential for his survival. Norman waited for Elizabeth to exit once Nathan was asleep again and he wrapped his arms around her waist once she was close enough, he glanced back towards the room and then into her eyes, giving a faint smile. "How's my favorite mommy doin' now?" He asked her, knowing that she had finally eaten something and had been somewhat relieved from the stress and worry that Nathan's status had brought on. Elizabeth listened to his breath to confirm whether or not he was asleep before deciding to continue reading, "So the dragon did exactly that, he scooped up the princess and flew off into the night to return to his den. Upon arrive, the princess was surprised by how nice his home was, his home was made out of pure gold, and looked almost like a castle.

Elizabeth left Nathan's room after a while and was surprised when she felt Norman wrap his arms around her and smiled a bit at his words. "I'm fine Papa bear, what about you?" she asked while stroking his cheek. (@DrTrollinski)
 
Stewart starts modifying his rifle to fit a silencer on it, being a hunting rifle this was quite a tricky job.
 
"Now that I've seen you, I couldn't be better." He'd chuckle as he bends her backwards towards him a few inches and looks down at her face, smiling before pecking her on the lips. "How's Nathan doing?" He asked softly. (@Soul OMU)

Elizabeth smiles a bit and pecks his lips back. "He's doing better, got more color in him, and he looks like he's finally getting some good sleep." she said softly while stroking his cheek. (@DrTrollinski)
 
"Good... Good..." He spins her around and stands her up straight in front of him, slowly leaning in and giving a long but gentle kiss on her lips, followed by pulling away and bringing her into a hug, placing her head on his shoulder; he kept his arms around her upper body and waist while swaying gently from side to side, taking a soft deep breath. ".. I'm glad me and him have you." He said softly, also placing his head down on her shoulder. (@Soul OMU)
 
Elizabeth smiles a bit as he spins her, she looks up at him and kisses him back just as gentle and just as long before resting her head against his shoulder. She presses her nose against his neck lightly as she wraps her arms around his torso and slips her hands into the back pockets of his jeans. "And I'm glad I have you and him... You're my boys." she said softly while swaying gently with him. (@DrTrollinski)
 
"And we always will be." He whispers into her ear, gently running his hands down her back in an affectionate manner. "Soon there might be three of us, eh?" He says with a light laugh as he moves one hand around and runs it over her stomach, kissing her cheek. (@Soul OMU)
 
Elizabeth laughed softly. "Who knows... I still have a few months before finding out. Could be a girl, love." she said while resting her hands in his back pockets slightly while swaying with him with a soft smile on her lips. (@DrTrollinski, btw I answered AftS)
 
"Heh... I don't think you'll be findin' out the gender, so we're gonna' have a surprise comin', eh?" He said to her, muzzling his nose against her own. "Tell you what, I'm gonna' go check on Annie and make sure she's doin' alright, so how about while I'm doin' that you get some tea ready, and when I come down we can chill together for a while." He suggested, still hugging her. (@Soul OMU)
 
Elizabeth smiles a bit and rubs noses with him. "Alright, But I think she's taking a shower so maybe you should wait and let her talk to Hunter first before talking to her... Also she's been working on a mechanical arm to replace her old arm obviously..." she said while drawing away from his embrace slightly to look at him. (@DrTrollinski)
