So, to celebrate the best week of the year, I propose an RP focusing mainly on mermaids, sirens, and basically any other mythological creature having to do with water. Creatures from any and all pantheons and cultures are included! So, anybody interested?

I love shark week though......an RP about Sharks would be absolutely awsmmmmmsauce. Not sure how that would go though. Perhaps an RP that's VERY loosely based on something like Megashark! You know, that crazy SyFy Channel movie where huge prehistoric shark comes back to life and a group of various experts have to team up to kill it! ​

P.S.::Thank you!! I really wanted to come up with something after the ruling because it's was an important ruling to me, and I'm glad i was able to fit it all in my signature! hehe

Oh, bruh, yes please. Megashark was almost as insane as Sharknado. Honestly, as long as anyone can jump in, I'd soooooo be down with that. Like, maybe rotate plot farts? Like, a new thing after the old plot has been roleplayed a reasonable amount? Definitely add in some of the crazier SyFy movies, and maybe come up with some original stuff?


Basically, give a chance for newer people to join at the end of each plot (chapter?). And, of course, everyone gets a say in what we rp, pbably through polls to pick a genre, then just plot around a bit.


P.S.- The ruling was important to me, too! I'm so glad we've taken a step towards proper equality. I'm reminded of a tumblr post that went along these lines: 'I can now get married in different states; liquid, solid, gaseous, and surpsingly Texas, too!'

Megashark was awsmnesss! So were all the sequels! I love those silly SyFy movies, even when they're kinda awful. Sharknado is getting a bit played out, but the first one was moronically awsm! I plan on watching the 3rd one too since Cassie Scerbo is back for it! (.) Plus I just like watching awful SyFy movies! hehe ()()


I love your idea though! Right when we think we're done and Megashark is finished, her babies start attacking! Then once we think we've killed them BAM - something unbelievable happens!! Like maybe we take up one of the sequels?! SyFy style! hehe

P.S.:: Yeah I agree, to me it's absurd to think one groups beliefs on marriage was dictating the law for ALL of us for so long. It's about time that anyone in love can get married, and if cave people individuals still want to not support it, then whatever, but they need to stop acting like two men or two women marrying affects them and their life when it has NOTHING at all to do with them and EVERYTHING to do with the couple who's in love! >_>

Dude, yaaaaaasssss. Like, we create an ungodly amount of sequels. And ridiculous SyFy movies are my favorite! If you're interested enough, we could make a small lost of possible roleplays to start with?


P.S.- Yes, yes, and yes. It's so weird, because growing up Christian, everyone I met was okay with non-hetero people, and were fully behind equality. Then, there's internet available, and all of a sudden there's 'Christians' spreading hate-speech. Honestly, it feels like half the people in the world were raised in a damn jungle.

Sorry for the delay in responding!! Got caught up farming stuff on WoW and catching up with an old friend on IMVU! mwuhaha.

But yessssss, we should definitely keep the story going for as long as possible with different plot twist and mutations!! xD xD

Are we going to try and find more ppl though, or do a 1x1 thing?? ^.^

P.S. I grew up going to church when I was little but then we moved when i was like 8 or 9 and never found another church and stopped going. Even then though religion was never a huge part of my life growing up outside of the church, and my mum was a hippie in her youth so there was definitely no social conservatism in my household.....people are people and love is love to my mum and subsequently me, but yeah, when I hit my teens I pretty quickly started labeling myself Agnostic....i respect, and will defend passionately, people's right to worship whatever religion they want, but i personally dislike organized religion.

I have hope that in another generation there won't even be such a thing as "gay marriage" and "straight marriage".......it'll just be marriage and no fucks will be given for most when it comes to the sexuality of those getting married.

Well, it kinda depends. I think I'll give it another day to see if anyone else is interested, but if it's just you and me, then definitely a 1x1.


P.S.- I generally dislike organized religions myself. My parents were never a part of a church, though some of my family were. My brother and I personally state that we don't need a book with most of it's pages missing to believe that there's something out there. And as to the 'marriage is marriage' thing, I sincerely hope that society can head in that direction. Our generation, and the one after ours, seem to be more unified on the equality front.

No no Ginja, the more the merrier I say! Yay Shark Week! After I'm done watching this Detective show I'm switching back to Shark Weeeeeeeek, since SyFy has a movie I just watched on. It's very good though, I totally recommend "The Village" to both of you! xD


And I agree @DefinitelyNotErin about Millennials and the generation coming up behind us. We might not be "the greatest generation" material but I do think we're the generations that will completely do away with the idea of "traditional" marriage. Marriage is Marriage and love is love.

I've had to leave other RPs simply because I can't find the motivation to write for them with all the other crap going on with me irl atm, but I can fit this one in still since I'm really on board with this RP story. I adore SyFy so this would be easy and rather fun to write for
