Carmen nodded and watched him, "So do I... But we have Lana... and I want her growing up far away from it... we're so much better off out here." She murmured, kissing his cheek, "You ready for bed?" She asked him, yawning some.

He smiled and kissed her nose, "Same... Come on mamí." He murmured, lifting her up and carrying her up to bed. The house was locked up and he just wanted a nice quiet night with her. They weren't getting younger and he had a family now. Everyone else was probably still at the club but. Angel was enjoying the half in side of things now

Max smiled happily he carried her to bed and kissing him gently. She was enjoying this soft more relaxed side of him. Sure it was fun to party here and there but this, just being together alone with their little family was perfect for her.

EZ nodded softly and held her close "I know, its why I will never go back." He said quietly before he gave a nod "Yes bed sounds good."

carmen smiled tiredly and kissed his head, going to bed with him sleeping through the night to the morning, curling in close to EZ for warmth, yawning big and smiled a little looking up to find him reading. “Our monster get up yet?”

Angel got up early the next morning to go out and work on his bike, fiddling in the garage until he heard a voice from the door and smiled seeing Emilio coming out to see him, still in his pjs. “Hey. Morning bud... you sleep good?” He asked him smiling, reaching for him to come close

Emilio woke up early in the morning seeing his mom still asleep and went to find his dad. He smiled happily and ran over to him "I sleep good daddy, can I help?" He asked happily having always loved Angel's bike

EZ smiled softly when he heard Carmen wake up "Good morning." He murmured kissing the top of her head "No, she woke up for some water but wanted to go to sleep again." He murnured softly

She just nodded, burying her face against his shoulder, "I love that she wakes you up first." She smkled tiredly. "You sleep better?"

He smiled and kissed his head "Yeah, c'mere." He told him, setting him in his lap while he worked on it, explaining all the parts to him until Max poked her head into the garage at around 10 am

Max woke up and frowned softly seeing Angel and Emilio gone from their beds. She smiled though hearing her son's giggle come from the garage. She poked her head in and smiled wide seeing them working on Angel's bike "Good morning my handsome boys."

EZ chuckled quietly and gave a small nod "She knows that daddy isn't grumpy when being woken up." He said quietly before wrapping his arms around her and kissing her gently "Did you sleep good?"

Angel smiled looking up and let him run over to her. “Morning beautiful... this one thinks it’s funny that I’m gonna be 40 next month.” He chuckled. ‘Daddy’s older than the dinosaurs.’ Emilio declared loudly, holding onto his moms legs giggling

She shook her head. “I had flashback dreams for the first time in a long time.,. But I’m okay.” She murmured, kissing him gently. “How much time you think we got before she comes barging in again?” She asked, her fingers running through his curls as his hair was growing out

Max laughed happily and held her son close "Oh really? Well mommy must be too, she is 38 you know." She said before giggling at her son's shocked expression "I know huh? We're a bunch of oldies."

EZ frowned softly at the mention of her having bad dreams "I'm sorry to hear that, I reckon we have about 30 minutes until she gets up "

Angel smiled and got up "You better go get dressed kiddo, I wanna get going with you." He told him, getting up and wiping his hands off on the cloth, heading over to Max and held her tightly to him, "Mmm... Morning mamí."

She smiled and nodded, "Reckon we got time for a shower together?" She murmured, getting up to go get the water going.

Max smiled happily and held him close "Mmm good morning handsome." She said kissing him gently "Don't be gone for too long yeah? I'll make lunch for us."

EZ smiled some and gave a nod "Mmm yeah I'm sure we can." He murmured kissing her gently before getting up

He gave her a little salute and a smile, pecking her lips, "Yes ma'am." He headed up to get changed and after a quick breakfast was out the door with Emilio, taking Max's car just because it already had his car seat in it.

Carmen smiled tiredly and took her t-shirt off, throwing it at his head then squeaked as he caught it and rushed after her, running to try and avoid being squished in his arms "EZ!" She laughed as he ifnally caught her

Max smiled happily and hugged both her boys goodbye before they left. She stayed at home cleaning for hours thinking they had decided to just have a boys day. Though when she heard her phone go off and saw Creeper's name flash across the screen she frowned.

EZ smirked and ran after her when she threw her shirt towards him "Oh its on!" He said happily englufing her in a bear hug when he finally caught her "Come on little lady."

She laughed, shaking her head and let him carry her into the bathroom, getting in the shower and washed up first, spending the last little bit just under the water with him. "You think maybe Angel and Max would have Lana for a few days in a year or so? So we could get a weekend away?" She asked him,

Creeper frowned, pulled over on the side of the road, "Max... Hey, hey I'm on Lafayette and your car is flipped over in a ditch.... Emilio is fine, he's freaked out but he's fine, couple little scratches... You need to get down here, Angel is.... Angel isn't okay." He told her slowly, turning his bike off and crossed the road, "Hey! Hey I'm the kid's uncle," He called to the officers who were stood with Emilio on the hood of their patrol car.

Max went wide eyed and quickly grabbed her shoes. She heard the sirens as soon as she stepped outside. The location Creeper was at was only two blocks away from the house. She ran quickly and went wide eyed seeing the scene infront of her "Emilio?! Angel?!" She screamed rushing over when she saw her son in Creeper's arms.

EZ smiled some as she stood under the water with him and gave a small nod "Mmm I don't think they would have a problen at all." He murmured kissing her cheek gently before he started to wash up.

Creeper had gone over to help comfort the kid, keeping him from seeing them trying to get his Dad out of the car still, looking over at Max and frowned, "Hey, he's okay... They're still tryna get Angel out." He told her gently, "Drunk driver. Came round the corner in a semi and on the wrong side of the road. Slammed into the driver's side." He told her, looking over as they finally got Angel out the car, moving him to a stretcher and trying to work out if he was even still breathing, making sure Emilio's face was turned away as they quickly came to the realisation that he was in fact not.

She got out of the shower once she heard Lana walking around and got dried up, "Hey baby, you wanna do anything today?" She asked her, kissing her head and started getting dressed.

Max whimpered quietly keeping Emilio's face turned gasping quietly as she saw them taking Angel out of the car "Creeper take him.." she whispered before rushing to Angel shaking her head as they stopped her "No please, he is my husband."

Lana smiled some when she saw her mom come out of the room "Good morning Mommy!" She said happily before giving her a hug "Can we go to the park?"

"Ma'am. Ma'am we need you to stay back right now, we're gonna do everything we can but we need to get him to a hospital and we can't have you ride in the back. He's gonna go to County General." the EMT told her sympathetically as they were working on him while they were taking him to the ambulance.

Carmen nodded and smiled "I think that can be arranged... You gonna go feed the cats for me?" She smiled, kissing her head before sitting at her vanity to sort her hair out and get it tameable at least.

Max took shaky breaths but nodded crying quietly before she went back to Creeper "Please....can you take us to the hospital?" She asked quietly trying to stay calm

EZ smiled softly as he came out dressed chuckled hearing Lana yell for the cats to come eat "She is so much like you."

Carmen smiled and looked over at him, "You mean perfect in every way right?" She smiled but had to stop from laughing when she got impatient and all they could hear was her yelling about not being appreciated for feeding them, glancing down the stairs to find her lifting their maine coon and carrying it to the kitchen.

Creeper nodded and pulled her in close too. "Taza's on his way with the van to take you guys." He told her, "You sure you want him there? We can take him to the club, keep him occupied." He told her frowning.

EZ did his best to not bust out laughing as he heard his daughter "She is too much." He murmured happily before he went downstairs "Good morning princess, you sleep good?"

Max frowned more letting him take Emilio "Yes please take him. Make sure he stays occupied." She murmured quickly getting in the van when Taza came.

Lana reached to be picked up and frowned "Daddy the cats didn't want to eat the breakfast I made them so I made Cher go eat but I can't find Sonny." She told him, watching him sigh for the millionth time over the names her mother had picked for their two cats "I think he got stuck in the den." She told him.

Taza took her straight down there and stayed with her while they waited to find out what was going on. It was a couple hours before someone came to talk to Max and he stayed with her for support, following the doctor into another room.

"Mrs Reyes... It's not looking good right now. Your husband has suffered a broken leg. His femur was shattered. Internal bruising all through his torso. All of this would be alright, except there was also major head trauma. We've managed to stop the bleed on the brain and for now he's being kept in an induced coma so he can heal but the likelihood of him having extensive brain damage after this is very high... the biggest problem right now is we won't know how bad it is until we can wake him up. We're waiting for the swelling to go down first." He explained to her, giving her a few minutes to process before taking her through to the room he was in while Taza stepped out and called Bishop.

Max listened to the doctor and took a deep breath before following him into the room. She gasped quietly when she saw him and broke down sobbing next to his bed.

EZ picked up his daughter and chuckled quietly kissing her cheek "Lets go check." He murmured taking her to the den and opening the french doors chuckling as the cat rushed out "Look at you knowing exactly where they were." He said happily

Carmen smiled answering her phone as she saw Bishop's number come up "Hey, long time no talk, how's everyth- Bish you okay?" She asked, frowning when he said he needed to talk to EZ urgently and that it was about Angel, heading downstairs and held the phone out to him, "Lana baby come with me to get you dressed.... It's Bish... said it's about Angel." She told him frowning and let him take it, taking her little girl to get ready for the dya.

Taza came back in and frowned some, rubbing her back, "Can I get you anything? Bish is calling EZ and Coco's gone to see Felipe.... You want Emilio here?" He asked her gently.

EZ frowned some and let Lana go while he took the phone "Bish? Hey whats going on?" He asked taking a deep breath as he heard what was going on "Thanks Bish, I'll be there soon." He muttered before hanging up "I have to go....Angel was in a wreck, really bad."

Max shook her head some and took a deep breath "No...no he doesnt need to be in here." She said quietly taking another deep breath

Carmen frowned and looked over at him, "Hey, hey wait three minutes alright? Grab a rucksack, I'll drive. I'm not havin you drive stressed." She told him, "Lana, we can go to the park another time okay? We gotta go so Daddy can see your tío okay?" She told her, sending her down to him so he could get her in the car and as promised they were out the front door within three minutes.

He just nodded and frowned some, leaving her to privacy for now and just waited outside the room in case she needed anything.
