Max smiled happily as he came back in and gave a small nod "I think a holiday is what we both need." She murmured kissing him gently as he came back into bed.

EZ smiled softly and said goodbye to Bishop while he sat down sighing heavily "She did not want to sleep last night." He murmured

She smiled, watching their little girl as she drank happily, "Did you keep Daddy up all night long?" She murmured, leaning back and cuddled up to him, "Well... I'll be home tonight so that helps from tonight... Get some sleep papí... we aren't going anywhere." She murmured, getting up carefully and let him have the bed while she sat in the rocking chair, laying her feet up but just enjoying sitting with her baby girl.

He nodded and held onto her, burying his face into her chest, "Mmm... Good... Book a hotel in San Diego. I'll tell Bishop we're heading out tomorrow.... Carmen's awake though, apparently she's doing good, I figured you'd wanna go say hi and officially meet baby," He smiled as she pushed hisface away "Aw I was enjoying that,"

Max listened to him and smiled softly "Mmm sounds like a plan." She murmured kissing him gently "I definitely would like to see them " she murmured quickly pushing him away and running to the bathroom to get sick.

EZ grunted softly but gave a small nod as he started to fall asleep as soon as his head hit the pillow

She smiled tiredly and watched him for a minute before looking down at Lana, "You have got the best Daddy in the whole wide world." She murmured to her, burping her once she was done feeding and just cradled her close, trying to catch up on all the time she'd missed the past couple weeks.

He frowned when he realised she hadn't pushed him away on purpose and he got up, going to help her, crouching behind her and holding her hair out of the way, staying quiet for her while he reached up and ran the tap to get her some water, that hand coming down to rub her back in big slow circles

EZ woke up about an hour later when he heard Lana crying "Is she okay?" He asked worriedly but smiled as he saw Carmen was changing her diaper.

Max finished up and placed her cheek to the cool toilet "Hey...sorry about that." She whispered taking the water from him "Thank you."

She nodded and smiled over at him, "She's doing good.... I think... I think she will have to be our only baby... I don't want to risk the same complications." She said softly, doing Lana's onesie up again and set her in her carrier for a bit, going to sit with EZ.

He smiled and kissed her head "You're good... Take your time alright?" He murmured, getting up to go chuck some clothes on, ready for the day so he could give her a hand if she wanted it

Max smiled softly and got up eventually getting ready for the day "Are you working today?" She asked as she came into the room.

EZ held her close and sighed softly kissing the top of her head "If that is so then I'm okay with it. She will be our perfect princess."

He smiled and kissed her head "Nope. Normal day off. I'm gonna talk to Bish today though. Let him know we're going up to San Diego." He smiled, "You ready?" He asked her, waiting a little impatiently. HE enjoyed seeing his niece and he wanted to get there to get his cuddles in with her. He was desperate to be a father but he wasn't going to let it be at the risk of losing Max.

Carmen smiled and nodded "She already is.... Definitely looks like her Daddy though... Poor thing." She teased him, slipping her arms around him tightly and just relaxed for the time being

Max smiled a bit and gave a nod kissing his cheek "Alright sounds good, come on lets go visit your brother and Carmen." She murmured happily

EZ chuckled quietly and kissed her gently "Angel spoils her too, my dad was a puddle of goo when he met her."

Angel headed inside the house after a long day on the yard, rubbing at his face and just wanting to go to bed for the rest of the afternoon and night until he saw his tiny family in the kitchen, just standing there and smiling at his son helping max make dinner, learning to enjoy little moments like this as it felt like every time he blinked the boy was skipping ahead in his growth. It had been a hard few years but things finally seemed to be fully settled and he was taking his time to enjoy his family now. “What’re you guys making?” He asked, stepping inside and smiled as their son jumped down and ran over to him. “Hey bud!” He grinned, lifting him up.

Carmen was busy trying to stop herself from yawning while she sat in the gallery and watched Lana do her first riding lesson. She’d begged and begged ever since the three of them had left California and headed out to Arizona once EZ, after a couple of major incidents, had decided he needed to get out of the club life. They’d found a small town far enough away that they had settled into and with him managing the only mechanics for a fifty mile radius, they were doing well for themselves. “Yknow I’m starting to think we should have started a horse fund instead of a college fund.” She smiled tiredly, looking over at him.

Max smiled widely as their son, Emilio, ran to his father's arms once he got home. Things had not been easy carrying him for the 7 months that she did. Due to all the complications she endured he would have to be her only child but she was content with it. Everything had finally started to settle about two years ago and she was happy with Angel. They had gotten married last year at the court house as well which was nice for the two of them having Coco and Gilly there to witness it. She turned off the stove as she finished up frowning softly as she heard Emilio coughing a bit "Don't get him worked up Angel." She said in a warning tone knowing their son's lungs had not developed fully when he was born.

EZ smiled happily as he watched his daughter start her riding lesson and gave a small nod "Yeah possibly." He murmured happily pulling her close to him. Things had gone down hill after Carmen got out of the hospital. With the club going to war, Steve's death, and someone trying to take a hit on Carmen, he knew they had to leave and quickly. He was thankful it was a simpler process than he thought and took them a good enough distance away from it all.

She smiled and rest her head up on his shoulder. “What time did she get you up this morning?” She asked him, taking his hand and gently playing with his fingers. “We’re watching sweetheart.” She promised as Lana scowled over at them and asked if they were paying attention. “God she got my attitude. I’m sorry.” She smiled.

Angel smiled and lifted him up, setting his son on his hip and kissed his head. “Tell mommy to chill. We’refine.... you wanna go get your hands washed for dinner?” He nudged him towards the bathroom as he set him down and he walked over to his wife, pulling her in close. “Mmm I love you.” He murmured, swaying with her.

EZ sighed heavily and rubbed his eyes a bit "5 this morning." He mumbled before smiling wide "I'm watching baby!" He called before laughing quietly "She sure did."

Max smiled happily at him and kissed him.gently "Mmm I love you too. Emilio has declared we must have his favorite tacos tonight." She said softly

Angel snorted a little. “At least he likes kinda decent food.” He chuckled. “Did he manage a whole day at school?” He asked her quietly, going to get a beer and sit down

Carmen smiled some shaking her head. “She’s a monster.” She muttered, yawning again. “Well it’s just a quick dinner tonight and she can stay up late for Friday night if she wants.... you doing okay? You were having nightmares again last night.”

Max gave a small nod and sighed softly "Yeah he did, he had to go to the nurse after recess and do his inhaler but he did good." She murmured as she made plates for the three of them "How was your day?"

EZ gave a small nod and sighed heavily "Yeah I'm okay.....just got in my head last night is all." He murmured before kissing her temple gentle

She nodded and sighed a little. “And the night before that. And the night before that.... and the night before that. Talk to me.” She coaxed gently. “Let’s open a bottle of wine and sit down tonight... get it off your chest.” She murmured.

He nodded and kissed her head. “You worry about him far too much. He’s a healthy kid now who will likely grow out of his asthma as he gets older they said... he’s gonna be just fine.” He murmured, kissing her cheek and sat down, smiling as he came running back in and jumped onto his dads lap.

EZ gave a heavy sigh and nodded some "Alright.." he murmured kissing her gently before he turned his attention back to Lana

Max sighed softly and gave a small smile "I know....I just...you know how I feel about it all." She murmured before Emilio came back to sit with them. No matter how many times he told her it wasn't her fault for it all she still blamed herself for her past addictions causinf all the complications with their son.

Carmen nodded, yawning some, "Are you ready for Disneyland on Monday?" She asked him, standing up and gathering her bag and stuff as Lana was finishing up, "Cause I'm not... It's not gonna be as fun as when it was just us... You ready to open that wallet?" She smiled, taking his hand and walking out of the arena with him to go wait for her by the front office. "You talk to Angel by the way? Let him know we're coming down to see your Dad after the trip?"

He nodded and sighed some, "Go cuddle your mom kiddo." He told him, nudging him over to her, "I know... And you know that it's ridiculous to feel like that cause it was not a choice that you made." He pointed out, "Right... Are we ready to eat? cause I'm starving"

EZ walked with her and laughed happily at her "I've already got money set aside for that specific purpose." He said happily as they walked towards the office. He waited for Lana to come back and gave a small nod "Yeah I did, he said they should be free. I know Emilio and Lana would love to see eachother."

Max smiled happily as he came to hug her. She gave Angel a small nod while she cuddled her little boy close kissing the top of his head repeatedly "Go sit down baby, before food gets cold." She murmured

Carmen smiled some and went to go book another lesson for Lana while she ran up to her Dad and jumped onto him, giggling "Daddy can we get our own pony?" She asked him, staring at him with her big puppy dog eyes she'd got from her mother. "Or... or can we get mcdonalds for dinner?" she smiled, holding onto him and yawning.

Angel ate quietly with his family, a little worn out from the day but once Emilio was in bed he went and sat with Max in the lounge, pulling her in close, "Mmm... I was gonna take him to pick out a bike tomorrow, this street is so much quieter... perfect place to start teaching him." He smiled and kissed her head "You gonna come with?"

EZ smiled widely when he saw Lana come running towards him. He opemed his arms and hugged her tight laughing a bit as she asked for a pony "A pony huh? I think Mcdonalds is a better idea, but maybe in the future. Ponies are a lot of responsibility."

Max sat with Angel later that evening and smiled softly "That sounds like a great idea. He would love a bike." She said softly while tracing patterns on his chest "How was your day at the club?"

He gave a shrug, lighting a cigarette and held her to him, "I miss havin EZ there... but the quiet times are nice... a lot less stressful." He smiled, kissing her head, "I love you though." He murmured, "I miss you working there too." He smiled, just laying back and enjoying the quiet

She pouted a bit but agreed and held onto him, yawning some, ending up falling asleep in the car on the way home, waking up enough to have her dinner before going straight to bed, worn out from school and the riding. Carmen turned her lights out once she was down and headed to the lounge, curling up by EZ, watching him. "Talk to me."

Max smiled happily as she listened to him and gave a small nod "Mmm I miss it too sometimes, our quickies in the back rooms." She teased letting her hand trail down his body

EZ went on through their night having a nice time with his family. He sighed softly as he sat on the couch with her and held her close "Saw a rider pass through, some no name club. He looked young, like Steve was." He admits giving a heavy sigh "Just reminded me of everything that happened..."

She frowned and pulled him to lay across her lap, "It wasn't your fault honey... None of it was." She frowned, running her fingers through his hair and just sat with him, trying to soothe him, "Look... if this is getting bad then I don't want us going back to Santo PAdre... Your family can come meet us a couple towns over." She told him seriously.

He smiled and pulled her in close, "Don't tempt me... Cause we both know he's gonna wake up soon as we get started... Pops is happy to have him tomorrow nught though. Oh and EZ and Carmen are gonna be in town on Wednesday. We're meeting them at his place."

Max laughed lightly an kissed him gently "I know I know." She murmured before smiling widely "Oh thats great! I can't wait to see them." She said softly

EZ shook his head softly and gave a heavy sigh "It might be best...I just....sometimes I miss it and it scares me." He admits quietly
