Also, since there are no stats are anything, how descriptive would you like us to be about an ability for our character? (e.g. she can use phasewalk...vague description, or phasewalk does 1,2,3,4, and looks like 1,2,3,4...). In the game, of course, abilities do pretty much one thing and then effects are talked on. In this I imagine its a bit more loose with the functionality?

It's completely fine, ask as much as you'd like. You can be descriptive, but you don't have to make up a whole skilltree. It's more about the general, distinct idea of a base skill and the story, not so much about "gameplay", really.

Yeah, be creative with your pet and whatnot. As long as it's not all over the place nor OP, we're good.
