Ezra H. Hastings / Silvia A. Brandt
Location: N/A / Custos Kitchen
Interaction: Adesina Eliruz Eliruz

The brute couldn’t help but scrunch his brow as Adesina spoke—if he had anything to do with it? Ezra couldn’t help but worry that he did have a part in it when he didn’t. He wasn’t there when it happened, and that was already his own fault. Placing the box on the table, his tired green hues glanced over the contents inside. It hurt a little, that he could have had something to do with her going missing. It hurt that they thought he did something as well, that he would intentionally do it was also a painful thing to understand. Elias was a bit more grouchy about it, hammering on about how he’d never let Ezra do anything, but Ezra reasoned it as him being a stranger. He wasn’t known by any of them—already disliked by one alpha but being suspected by another was a bit of a blow. One he understood. He had no attachments to the pack, not like any of the others so it would be easy to assume he was a threat, Ezra couldn’t help but assume he was a threat as well. It was all so confusing, and as he scratched at his head he cursed his memory one last time before gathering his things. He just wanted her alright, if they ought to blame him then they could, but after she was back.

Silvia was also have an inner dilemma, not as dramatic but a problem nonetheless. She was holding baby Xiulan and a box of ritz crackers, the problem was what to find for Xiulan to eat. Her lips were pursed, brows furrow and her mind distracted. The pale haired werewolf hardly heard the approach of the very woman who seemed to catch her thoughts—though the one time she wasn’t plagued by the reoccurring thoughts of Adesina she was spooked by her. It was moments until Silvia huffed a startled response, “You always startle me—“ she didn’t dwell on it long as she leaned against the other, listening curiously as Adesina said she would be gone for a while near dawn. “Are you sure you should go out so early?” she questioned, however a much more serious one came after another statement passed. Silvia would have dwelled on the kiss but didn’t have the time to as a more concerning topic came up. “You better not come back hurt—“ Silvia warned, she was wary of Adesina going off on her lonesome with Ezra to bring Eden back. “Sina, you have to promise me you’ll make it back safely,” Silvia pressed, she turned around holding Xiulan tightly but remaining with a stern look in her eye. She usually wasn’t so brazen with Adesina but this time round she was worried.

Mate won’t get hurt—if she does you’ll fix her,” Isabella chimed in to speak with Silvia briefly, she had remained quiet, pleased with the growing bond but very compliant to Silvia’s control, or maybe she was unable to grapple for power like she once had. “If she’s hurt we blame the other one, he can take it,” she huffed before settling down, she was uneasy with the thought of Adesina going somewhere she might be hurt but as much as Isabella wanted to hover and keep that from happening she begrudgingly settled down.

The male jerked his eyes to Oliver, startled by the sudden motion from the calmer brute, he watched as Oliver back handed Rhea. He wasn’t particularly found of his family but he bristled at the action of slapping his sibling. Silas shied his gaze away from the pair, however when he heard the shift of Rhea’s hands, his narrowed eyes landed on her claws. He shuffled slightly, squeezing Evangeline’s hand as she began describing what happened. His ears picked up on each word, her describing how long and who or where they were. All it did was make Silas angry at the prospect of people hurting Evan, it was an untimely anger that he bottled away. The best way to release it was when Blake would warrant them to attack, if not it would be a personal vendetta he would have to deal with himself. He managed to catch the sight of Rhea taking some kind of medication, then she went and placed those claws along Evangeline’s neck. In the end he shuffled distastefully, he did not like the idea of memories being tampered with—werewolves always had that underlying intrusive effect towards Silas. His brown eyes hesitantly glanced to Evangeline, she would have protested against Rhea and Oliver if she wanted those memories. Silas had respect to the point he wouldn’t jump in on a decision like this, he stayed quiet, letting his anger boil towards the humans while he gripped her hand reassuringly for the time.

While heading on a scenic route, the female heard Khenan speak ever so slightly, before his voice bounced around in her head. She grinned, “It is nice though—it helps keep us strong, and it is easy to defend because others are also unused to this terrain,” she spoke back, she hadn’t been aware of how quickly bond could form, the last new member being Davina. Skidding you’re a stop, she hovered near the border, her eyes scanning along the line before she turned to search for the black pelted beast Khenan took the form of. “Within time, you will love it just as much as the rest of us, it protects us like we protect it,” she informed, oddly sounding wise which was uncommon for the playful vampire. Harper wasn’t exactly known for anything except for playful teasing but when she wasn’t playful there were two other moods. Hungry and shrink mode. Adesina chuckled softly when her mate huffed cutely and announced that she'd startled her. Finding the reaction quite becoming, the alpha pressed one more kiss to her neck before finding the female whirling around and expressing her concern. The dead heart inside her would've ached painfully, but instead, a gentle sigh left her lips. Lifting her hands to cup the female's face, she leaned forward and pressed a gentle kiss against her forehead. "A promise as such is difficult to make, but," she paused, studying the female before continuing, "I give my word that I will come back, possibly unscathed." She offered a reassuring smile before moving in and pressing her lips gently to Sylvia's, making sure she knew that she was being serious and that she'd do everything in her power to come back unharmed at the least. After a few moments, she pulled back and pressed her forehead against her mate's. "Now, no matter what happens, even if the worst happens to one of us, stay here and watch after everyone. Ordan will nearly only listen to reason with you, especially in his state right now. Make sure that you stay safe as well, I can't lose you. That's an order, my darling mate." The word finally slipped from her mouth gently and rolled of her tongue like honey. She hadn't been able to spend much time with Sylvia since she'd gotten back, and now she had to leave once more; she had to admit, being an alpha was tough, even if there was something that had to happen that nobody wanted.

Evangeline

Just as Evangeline was growing a bit more relaxed, she heard a loud smack and the crash against something, her eyes snapping upwards and her body jerking towards Silas', her eyes flickering between gold and violet, a shiver running down her spine. Soon enough, the female that was backhanded was back near her with her fingernails extending into claws. She swallowed nervously and leaned back against the bed to continue explaining her experiences. Soon enough, after she had finished her explanation and was informed about what was going to happen, she simply nodded and squeezed Silas' hand back. Her body tensed when Rhea moved closer and jabbed her claws into the nape of her neck. A pained whimper left her before slowly, a sense of security and warmth washed over her. Closing her violet eyes, she squeezed Silas' hand tighter and could even feel the presence of another within her mind, sifting and shoving memories to get to the last 2 months worth. Images of the camp, dark and damp cells that they shared occasionally with another one of their species, the feeling of silver chains and whips, silver dust, and so much more; even the screams of the other victims were overwhelming. Her free hand was given a bottle that contained some kind of liquid. Once Rhea pulled away and had gotten every memory possibly, it left Evan in a hazy state. She could hear Oliver speaking, but it seemed somewhat distant for a few moments. Her violet hues lifted slowly, she looked between Silas and Oliver, her eyes narrowing. "I can't feel their..presence.." She whispered before looking down at the bottle she'd been handed by Oliver. "Let's just get this over with.." The female murmured before bringing the bottle to her lips and drinking.

Elwin's hunger was slowly taking control, but the silver was only continuing to burn her wrists to the point of a loud wolf-like yowl exploding from her lips. In the process, her wrists had begun to bleed and smell of burning. Finally, she let herself drop to her knees to give the chains slack and to stop the burning. "Reach out as far as you can. Use the pack bond, Elwin.." Her wolf advised, having some knowledge of it but at this distance, it would be a mere whisper. The small female snarled and snapped at her wolf out of anger. "It won't work, Lita! We are too FAR AWAY! We're never getting out!" She yelled, her voice bouncing off of the walls before she collapsed in tears. Her hands lifted to her face but stopped short of it, the chains restricting her movement in case she tried to take off her muzzle. "We have to at least try, Eli. It's worth a shot. Please.." Her wolf pleaded, Elwin's hues slowly opening in defeat. Nodding silently, the female let her body relax and gathered up her remaining power to try and reach out through her pack bond with Laz, Vlad, anyone; she was desperate. "Laz, Vlad, anyone! I'm alive, please help me. I've been sold off to a man that some call..Bl..ak..e.." If heard, the message would be a bit fuzzy but her energy just wasn't enough at this point.

Silvia A. Brandt
Location: Custos Kitchen

Silvia’s brow furrowed, her eyes searching Adesina’s paled face for some kind of tell tale that she can do what Silvia asked of her. When the werewolf was not given the sign, she merely nodded her head, already knowing that no one could ever guarantee such a feat unharmed. Upon hearing her promise of trying to stay unharmed, Silvia decided she could be happy with the effort. However Adesina made sure that Silvia knew she meant it by sealing it with a kiss, the werewolf sighing in compliance before they pulled away. She wasn’t as flustered about it this time around, maybe because she was still worried about what could happen to Adesina at dawn. Her cheeks did tint a shade of pink, the briefest sign of flushed skin before she peaked back up at the vampire. “If that’s all you can promise me, then that is all I need,” she confessed, relishing in their brief embrace before she spoke about planning for the worst and how Ordan will listen for so long however there was another part that sent a shiver down Silvia’s spine—Adesina called Silvia her mate, just the thought alone had a smiling pale blonde about to bounce on her feet eagerly. She wasn’t easily excited but with that done and said, Silvia was a smiling mess. “Well, I’ll only take orders from you then—I’ll keep Ordan in check so he can watch over everyone else,” she teased, gaining some of her own courage she initiated a quick peck on her lips before turning away, “I’ll go find a spot for Xiulan to nap at—she has to be tired after the trip,” Silvia informed, a twinkle in her eye as she moved to exit the kitchen, “want to help me find the nursery—I haven’t exactly been there yet.”

She has acknowledged us! That means we can—well I don’t know what it means we can do but whatever it is we can do it!” Isabella barked put quickly, her rest was cut short as Silvia turned, the wolfish side eagerly awaiting for a chance to accept the proposal. Isabella continued to chatter to Silvia how fitting it was to hear her call them that, it was growing to an annoying level for the pale haired werewolf. “When are you gonna call her mate? I’ll do it! Let me do it!” Silvia snuffed our that annoying chirper voice and cleared her throat as she looked back to Adesina, she just wanted to spend time with the vampire—before it would end. She might need sleep but she wanted to spend as much of her time with Adesina as she could now that she was back. “You coming or what, slow poke?”

Khenan
Boreal Territory
Khenan stumbled a bit, not expecting the pack bond to have formed so quickly. He hadn't expected it to work at all and yet the vampire responded to him as if she had heard his mental voice. When she slowed and came to a sudden stop, Khenan was forced to jump over her only to crash into the ground on the other side, not used to the terrain. He shook himself as he picked himself up off the ground, turning his apex towards Harper as she continued to speak. "Yes...this terrain seems tricky and a nuisance," spoke Khenan. "I hope for my daughter's sake, she learns to love it here, being in one place."

Oliver/Rhea
Medical Room
Rhea withdrew her claws when she had the memories needed and began shifting through them, eventually removing her hand as well from the other female. Feeling the vampire relax under her manipulating emotions, she tossed the bottle back at her brother who caught it and he turned, nodding to his sister to spread the salve on her wounds, the werewolf gentle as she did so though appeared distant. Nevertheless, when Evangeline had taken the bottle and lain down, Oliver performed a pelvic exam on the female, having Rhea make notes for him. "Take her to a guest room or your room...she does not need to be in the infirmary," said Oliver. He pressed the jar into Silas's hands. "Put this on her every five hours...it will need time to work." As the lady vampire said she couldn't feel them, he assumed they were her memories. "It is not in my power but if you wish, Rhea can strip away your hurt and pain," he said, his sister raising her eyes to him before nodding to confirm her brother's words, neither mentioning the pain would go to the wolf who took the pain away. "She will need time and rest...there is some tearing but nothing that will not heal with time," he said, his face twisting from its usual pleasantness to murderous fury. He gathered up the notepad and his pen from the table, moving to put them away. "Rhea...show me what you found," he said, the werewolf moving forward and bowing her head to touch her brother's forehead, shoving her claws into his throat.

Lazarus
Somewhere on Ithawell's Outskirts
Lazarus had only come back to himself for a few moments when he felt a fuzziness in his head, like static from a television set that isn't working. Opening his brown eyes, brown when he was a bat anyway, Lazarus shuffled along underneath the branch he was hanging on, shaking his tiny head as he tried to discern what was trying to come through...words but they were faint. "Little cousin...is that you?" he questioned through the bond, his voice slightly stronger than the child's though he had no idea of the distance from him to her. "Try to focus on where you are..." If she could do that, he might be able to find her by surfing the astral plane...at least appear to her in spirit.

The vampire took in a deep breath of air, one not needed to live but one wanted to make it living. The dark haired female turned to look over her shoulder when she saw the streak and mass of a black wolf leap above her, had she not been used to such a surprise before she would have tried to dodge but after competing with wolves for her position before she just watched with curiosity as he landed and skidded into a heap. “Are you alright? I’ve never see a wolf take a blow tot he ground that hard—“ she informed, breaking the inner talk without thinking, she shook her head as she observed the beast rise to his paws once again. It truly was an odd sight, though if she were new that might have been a similar problem for her. When he spoke of his daughter staying, Harper had that bittersweet smile on her face. “I hope my two will love it here—so I’ll protect so they can learn about this place, until they have the same desire for others,” she informed, turning away from the wolf she angled her hazel toned hues to look over the border, “This is the busier border, humans come across this way and if it isn’t them then it’s the other packs, it is the first place they will try to cross because it isn’t as rocky as the others, less of a hassle since the road passes through this border.”

The dark haired male kept his reassuring gaze on Evangeline, her hues had changed drastically from violet to gold and then reversed in the same manner, had he not know why he would have thought she was mortally misguided, but he understood that she could end up reliving that moment continuously until Rhea has taken those memories. And as time passed and Evan returned back to a more calmer and serene state than when rethinking of the wretched place, it just added to the pile of anger he was festering inside. The vampire had a narrowing gaze as she had calmed down, did humans think a law would protect them? That permission was needed to hunt their kind? Silas understood the security that a law would give but they had been hunting humans without their permission and nothing occurred to them they didn’t warrant—what did they think this faux courage would bring them? Silas has more than enough experience in extermination, and it seemed like he was jumping to do so. Turning his gaze back to Evangeline, those negative thoughts relinquished to more concerned ones as Oliver and Rhea worked together to finish their examination. He was growing antsy, shuffling slightly before Oliver reported back the information. That’s when his anger spike, at the last of his limits he took the salve Oliver suggested or more like stated would be put on her in a timely manner. All he could do was nod his head before moving to scoop Evangeline up in his arms using the most gentle touch he could considering his more than aggressive and haunting look. “Thank you, I owe you two,” he stated earnestly, though he didn’t need the healing she did, and that was what mattered. Holding Evangeline close, he barely stuck around before the pair decided to handle the memories and information gathered, trying to decide where he could keep a better eye on her—his room or a guest? He didn’t exactly use his room.

Adesina gazed down at her mate and chuckled when she became a giant, smiling mess. In all honesty, the alpha nearly melted at the sight of such a beautiful smile. Playfully squeezing the medic's hips, she allowed her chest to rumble with a purr-like sound when Sylvia pressed a kiss to her lips. "Mm, you better. Don't want anyone getting hurt now," she mused. Her gaze fell upon the small babe within her arms and when she moved towards the door, the female followed and nodded with a chuckle. "Of course, follow me." Sina pressed a kiss to her cheek before cocking an eyebrow towards her playful comment. "Slow? Me? I believe I can run faster than you, my dear." The female teased before gently grabbing her hand and leading her upstairs, taking a right down towards the alpha's room and taking a left right before they got to the nursery that had a gentle color that matched the bedding in the cradle. There were toys neatly placed into a toy box in the corner and a changing station straight across from the crib. "Here we are, also, I've been meaning to ask you something." Adesina grew a bit nervous, but tried to hide it until they got out of the room.

Evangeline winced gently when the wolf had gently pulled her claws from her nape, the wounds soon trying to heal themselves. Her hues flickered open, back to their normal violet and her color slowly coming back as whatever she'd taken earlier worked its magic. The female laid back against the bed, allowing the two do whatever they needed to, no matter how uncomfortable she grew. Swallowing gently, she closed her eyes for a moment, the haunting memories no longer flashing behind her lids, which startled her a bit. Once the pelvic exam was complete and Oliver gave the verdict of tearing that would heal soon, the color that was once appearing completely drained from her; she didn't even want to remember what he just said. It couldn't be! She tried to recall, but couldn't remember due to her memories now being Rhea's. Her body felt cold and empty as she was soon lifted, her eyes adverting to something else, anything else other than the man that held her carefully in his arms. Even then, she could feel the powerful anger and rage radiating off of the feral brute. The female remained quiet, her expression now bland until he mentioned something about taking the pain away. "No, it's alright. I'll just deal with the pain. You two have already done so much, I'd hate to bother you two anymore than I have.." Evan whispered before turning her nose to press into Silas' shirt, hiding her tear-filled eyes.

The small vaewolf's expression fell into a crestfallen one when she got no response at first, until finally she heard a soft reply- it was distant but she could tell it was Laz. Her wolf perked up and all of a sudden, she was filled with renewed energy that was shared by her wolf. Opening her eyes, she looked around before describing where she was and the outside of the building that she managed to see. Focusing the new flow of power surging through her body, she then closed her eyes and tried to send back a reply. "Laz! It's me! Elwin!I'm inside what looks like an asylum; it's large and barren here, almost deserted with some forest at the edges of the property. I'm currently in a damp cell that has the numbers 349. I-It's near what seemed like a servants corridor. There's a ton of beds and really bad smelling showers." Trying her best to describe the place, she managed to send some kind of an idea of where she was at. "Please be there, Laz. I can't take much more here, they're starving me just like those other people. I don't know how much longer I can hold on.."

Khenan
Boreal Border
Khenan was dazed, his world spinning before and around him, the wolf trying to focus on a single point and wait for everything to steady and straighten out. He could distinctly hear Harper asking if he was alright and he didn't respond at first, not until everything stopped. "Fine," the wolf huffed out. "Just dizzy...it will pass." His ears twitched as he scented the air around them, listening to Harper say this was one of the busier borders of the territory and that humans or the other packs would try to come through here. Listening as she spoke of hoping her children also loving it here within the pack, the wolf nodded when he got his bearings. "One can only hope and strive for the best for one's children," said Khenan. "What direction is this?" he questioned, taking a look around the area. It seemed this place would need constant supervision then.

The siblings nodded as they were thanked by both Silas, who said he owed them, and by the rogue vampire who had just been healed. "Find me if you need anything...or Rhea," said Oliver.

"We'll keep payment in mind if it is ever needed," spoke Rhea, the Keeper not seeming to feel or mind the claws in his throat or the blood trickling down his skin.

"Hunt for her...kill a slave if you have to," said Oliver. "Or we can do that for you. There are plenty of people who won't be missed if you take from the slums and brothels." As Evangeline thanked them, Oliver gave a slight twitch of his hand. "No need for thanks. That's my job and what I love doing." Allowing them to leave if Silas wished, the vampire took in the copies of memories his sister shared of what Evangeline had gone through, helping her brother into a chair. Sharing the memories, the siblings looked through them together, trying to figure out their next course of action. Of course, Blake would find out there was a vampire that wasn't a member of the pack here but that was Silas's problem to explain.

"What should we do?"

"It's daylight...I can't go out without being burned," spoke Oliver. "We wait until sundown when I've hunted."

Lazarus
Somewhere in outskirts of Ithawell

"Your mother and Vladimir are on their way,"
spoke Lazarus to the child, listening as she attempted to describe where she was. "They'll be here in a few but sent me to check out the old headquarters from the master's stories he grew up with and investigate the area." Making mental notes of the cell number and the general idea of the building and that it was at the edge of the property as well as the stuttered name from earlier, the dhamphir was disheartened and furious to know the child was being starved. "Don't freak out...I'm going to try to find you by using an ability my species has," he spoke. "To all other appearances, I will appear dead or in a coma...though I am a bat." Focusing on Elwin's voice, he cast his aura out, following the echo of Elwin's voice, his bodily functions shutting down as he used his ability. A bluish projection of Lazarus appeared in the cell the child was currently in, completely transparent as he looked around and floated over to the child that he saw huddled in wolf form. Technically projecting his aura...that was his spirit and consciousness out like this, was part of the dhamphir Psionics ability. Raising a finger to his lips, he signaled the child to be quiet as he looked around though he could do nothing like this for the child but give her comfort by being there. If he had been older, he would be able to control both his physical body and corporal form but he wasn't there yet, due to both age and experience.

The werewolf hummed appreciatively, her ears listening acutely to the purr like rumble Adesina had made, it was near hypnotic to listen to however she wouldn’t let herself get distracted by Adesina’s charm, despite already being distracted by it. Bringing her greenish blue tinted hues up to gaze at the auburn haired vampire as she slipped past her to lead the way as requested by grabbing her hand in her own. “You? Faster? I don’t believe what I’m hearing—here I thought I was the fastest person here! I can not believe this, this, this is blasphemy I tell you!” she joked, tossing in fake shock and surprise at the sudden news. If the sarcastic comment wasn’t enough then there was the amused twinkle in her eye. She followed after Adesina, smiling down at their hands held together before they were suddenly at the nursery. Silvia hadn’t expected it to be so quick to get to, but nevertheless parted from Adesina to put the baby to sleep from her tiring trip.

Hm? What do you want to ask?” Silvia inquired, striding over to one of the cribs that she could believe that young Xiulan could be comfortable in. She had to rest the babe in the crib ever so softly, making sure she was all set before organizing the blanket for the baby to cuddle up with. Silvia turned around then, having not heard the nervous tone before she saw the hesitant look in her eye, even Isabella was on the edge of her seat wandering what Adesina had to say. Without realizing it, an anxiety grew at the thought of what Adesina was fearful to ask, there was the little pit in her stomach that made her worry it was Adesina going to try and explain she didn’t want what Silvia wanted—despite the werewolf being shy on the topic of what she wanted herself. Stepping away from the crib, she looped her hand with Adesina’s and entwined their fingers. “Go on and ask—I’ll try and keep an open mind,” Silvia teased trying to ease her own worries.

Silas left once Evan finished her conversation with them, she had tucked her head into his shirt again to hide her face away from the world. The male didn’t mind, but he did dwell on the fact that he would need to hunt for her soon, or if she didn’t want him to hunt possibly find her blood slave somewhere around the asylum. Bringing his eyes down to glance at Evangeline he sided on letting his eyes fall on where he was walking. He was angry and still rather aggravated with what happened to Evan, so much so he was tempted to hunt those humans down for her food for their crime. Sport killing for more than doing it for food though. The brown haired male tilted his head down, pressing his forehead against her head briefly before regaining his pace and walk up towards his room. “You can cry, if you are worried about the other’s they won’t hear it this far away,” he informed, his social skills in handling comfort was lacking, but the effort was still there especially when restraining himself from having a murderous rampage like he wanted. He wasn’t sure if she would recover, with that pain and hurt that is. She had the option of giving it away but rather kept it instead. He understood wanting to feel her own feelings, he might have opted from that path as well if the roles were reversed. As he trekked up the stairs, his grip never budged as he held onto Evangeline and the medicine, and before long he had taken them to his room, it looked practically the same as he left it—he only used that place to store clothes. Nothing ever lasted for him, money included since he could never manage to hold onto it for very long. He was not used to having money so he was worried about it wasting away if it wasn’t used.

South, you have to head North to even get in the right direction and the town and other packs tend to be South of us,” Harper informed. The werewolf had worried the vampire for a moment, concerned that he might have knocked his brain out during the tumble. Bringing her hues up look at Khenan she nodded in agreement. He had said that one strives for the best for their children, Harper couldn’t help but debunk that statement to ‘good people’ but refrained from saying so. As far as Harper could tell, the only good people who strive for the best are people who adopt children, Khenan being the first parent to a child that was blood related. Harper has poor experience with blood relatives and children, and she wasn’t about to bring that up now. “Right, come on now, let’s get back. Unless your brain is too scrambled to make it back. Technically I’m a shrink still, so if you ever need de-scrambling I’m around to help,” she joked, turning away from the border she started with a steady trek back the direction they came.

After Sylvia put the babe comfortably into a crib and tucked her in, her blue eyes fell onto the female's figure for the briefest moment. If it was possible, heat would rush to her cheeks and she'd be redder than a strawberry. The redheaded alpha entwined their fingers before leading her out of the room and down a door to the Alphas' room. It was odd for Sina to bring her mate here, but she wanted to make things absolutely official, though she feared that Sylvia would find it weird to sleep in a massive bedroom with her and Adesina in one bed while Ordan and Jae shared the other in coming time. Opening the door, she allowed her to move inside before the alpha moved in behind her and carefully shut the door. Nervously looking at her for once, she swallowed gently before speaking. "I wished to ask you a very important question," squeezing her hand, she soon led the female to her side of the room and carefully motioned towards the neatly made bed, nearly bare dresser top and desk that was covered in neat stacks of paperwork. "I..I've known for awhile now that you're my mate and I wanted to ask you, first off if you'd like to make it official? If you don't want to do the marking ritual yet, that's perfectly okay. But I would like for you to move into here, if you want to of course. I won't force anything on you, Syl. It's completely up to you whether you sleep in here with me, or stay in the room you're currently in." The entire situation was overwhelming for the alpha, seeing how she hadn't even thought about having a partner in about 3 or 4 decades. Her blue eyes searched Sylvia's as she nervously waited for some kind of rejection, which was normal for the woman when it came to relationships.

Evangeline was quiet as Silas carried her out of the room and down a few corridors to a flight of stairs. She kept her tear stricken face completely hidden within the male's shirt, simply sniffling a time or two. Why couldn't she remember that specific detail? Why would anybody do that to someone? It left her dumbfounded what sick and twisted things would do to the ones that everyone painted to be the bad guys. Self consciously, the female pressed her legs together, the muscles in her quads somewhat sore but slowly healing from the horrible trekking she did while practically starved. Feeling his forehead press against hers lightly, she lifted her violet hues to his for a single before burying her face. She couldn't explain why, but she felt shameful about what happened to her, like she could've stopped whoever did this to her. Her throat slowly formed a lump, making it difficult for her to even contemplate speaking to Silas. The only thing that escaped her lips was a strangled, "I don't understand..". Finally, once they got to his room, she moved to show her now sticky and reddened face, strands of red locks sticking to her cheeks. Sniffling, a few more tears rolled down her cheeks. "W-What kind of sick person would do that? I-I wanted..to..save myself..for whoever my mate is.." Her violet eyes filled with more tears as she choked out one final sentence before completely breaking down. Not only had she been violated, but something was taken from her, which resulted in her feeling disgusted and shameful with herself. If her heart could beat right now, it would be completely shattered and crushed at her feet.

Soon enough, the vaewolf opened her eyes and was back in her cell. Her lobes pinned against her skull and a defeated whine left her lips, her gaze falling to the ground. That's when she heard it, her eyes lifting to find a bluish form of Laz floating above her. Her tail began wagging and she pushed herself to her legs onto to have the silver burning at her appendages. A whine left her muzzle as she collapsed back down on her belly, her ears pinning back against her head, "What if I can't get out, Laz? If I can't eat soon, I may lose control, like once before.." She whimpered through the mental link she was currently sharing with Laz. "Lita is supplying me with enough energy to even talk to you; if it wasn't for her.." Lowering her muzzle to her bloodied paws, she whimpered quietly, her entire expression going to one of dread and lack of hope.

"Southern Border," said Khenan, committing it to memory. He didn't seem to care about the tumble he had taken, though it was possible he was just putting on a show of bravo so as not to appear weak when he had already been defeated by the new alpha. "Alright," he said, "and my brain is not scrambled." Putting his nose to the ground, he attempted to follow their scents back through the territory to the castle, moving past the vampire.

Lazarus
Elwin's Cell, Lichen

Lazarus looked down at the child he saw as a niece, given how much he had helped Nomvula raise the girl after her mate had been murdered. He wouldn't take the other vaewolf's place in the child's life by pretending to be a father...that right should have been reserved for Archibald, his teeth clacking together with a snap as watched the child attempt to get up, only to whine and fall back on the floor. "Oh your mother will rip apart everyone who keeps you from her...the boss had to chain and cage her to keep her from getting out and going on a suicide mission to find you," said Lazarus with a chuckle at the memory. "I believe she tried tearing the boss's face off." Vladimir had not been pleased with that and punished the female severely. "You're the daughter of two pureblood vaewolves and a vaewolf yourself little cousin. We'll stop at nothing to get you out but we need to find out where you are and the protections and defenses as well as the numbers of this pack. We need to wait for the perfect time for their defenses to be low and figure out the best time when both vampire and wolf are weakest," Lazarus explained. As she tried to explain how she might lose control and hinted at doing so once before, the dhamphir chuckled. "I'm sure the boss will let you have your pick of a meal...assuming your mother doesn't rip the alphas of this pack to shreds herself and...I'll tell you something. We've got weapons designed to kill our parent species...the Blood Order nuisance isn't the only group who knows how to kill the supernatural. I don't know if you remember or your mom told you, but the Celestial Order used to be quite feared centuries ago...we feed on not just humans but dhamphir can feed on other vampires and the boss suspects vaewolves might have been able to feed on vampires in the past. Whether they still can I'm not sure and neither is he. Nobody has ever tried it. Do you remember what happened? Did that vampire who bought you before have anything to do with your kidnapping?"

Silvia glanced over towards Adesina as she began leading her out of the nursery and down the hall, the vampire having holding of her hand again. Silvia was curious as to what she had to say, still rather anxious about it all. The werewolf was cautious though as Adesina lead her into one of the many off limit rooms, she nearly stopped walking if she hadn’t remembered it was also Adesina’s room as well with her new position. Trudging along after the older one, Silvia cast her watchful gaze around the room as she was lead to a different side, one with everything nice and neat—organized. This looked more like Adesina’s side, and it made sense considering the vampire had a very straight to the point outlook on things. Which was why Silvia was worried with how she stalled things, rather than ask her in the nursery she had brought Silvia all the way to her room, but she was getting a sense that it wasn’t as bad. “Awkward—“ Isabella chimed in causally as she took a look around, eyes lingering towards a door off another way before Silvia looked back to Adesina. “You look like a fish out of water—too nervous. Get some guts and take it like a wolf, might be good might be bad—will it change how we feel? Probably not.”

Her brows arched curiously as Adesina said she knew she was her mate, and when she lead onto another detail of making things official, Silvia couldn’t help the smile that broke out onto her face. Yes, smiling again, wonderful. Bringing her hands up to Adesina’s cheeks, “Official—I thought we were already official,” she teased briefly, however her jokes turned sweet as she leaned up to kiss Adesina on the lips, “Of course, Sina, I’d love to,” Silvia mused, leaning away Silvia found herself overcome with a deep rooted joy, happy and relieved that Adesina wasn’t going to cut ties like she was scared of happening. “Now she is real mate, mark! Mark! Mark!” Isabella chirped to Silvia who didn’t understand a single thing in what that meant, “What is the marking ritual?” Silvia was still quite unaware of some traditions.

Silas listened as she sniffled, she was broken and he had only ever seen a woman cry like this once before, and as he felt her shift in his arms he knew he would be of little help. Stepping inside his rather blank room, the brute listened as she questioned why and explained that she just didn’t understand. Silas closed his eyes, trying to figure some way to comfort her, but all he found was holding her close for that brief time. Striding over to the bed, he set her down, his anger simmering slightly at seeing her look so wounded, it was painful for him to see her like that and he didn’t understand why exactly. The vampire hovered nearby after setting her down before reaching over and grabbing the comforter to pull over her shoulders. “It’ll be alright, they stole something from you—but that does not mean you can’t give it to someone still, it was wrongfully taken but it can be rightfully given,” he offered, he wasn’t good in the sense of offering sound advice, just advice on the best way to snap someone’s neck with little effort put into it. “You will get better, you will heal, and when you do this will fade while you are happy, and when it fades, you will still be there,” he added momentarily before sighing. The brute went to look for a chair, turning his back to search for something to sit in, or maybe he needed to give her space—he could be crowding her for all he knew.

The vampire was quicker in the return to their home, speeding through the terrain as Khenan went to find their scent trail back. She chuckled at his statement about how his brain was not scrambled, she couldn’t help but laugh at his response. “Sure thing, if that’s what’cha wanna tell yourself go right ahead mi amigo!” she mused, slipping past some foliage, the vampire ducked and swerved, a branch nearly whacking her in the head had she not dodged, she wasn’t in the right clothes for a run, but she didn’t mind. It was always good for a run, no matter attire or time. As time passed, she skidded to a near halt before she almost slammed into the main door, she might be elegant when standing still but when running Harper was quite the clutz when running into things. Huffing as she peaked around, she rolled her eyes at the sight of the slightly opened front door, “nunca cierra la puerta,” she mumbled before turning back to the forest with her hand resting on the door knob, “Hurry up and I’ll show you to your room if you like, not sure where October went,” she observed opening the door before leaning on it in wait.

Adesina nervously watched the expression on Sylvia's face as she examined the room, her face paling a bit when the silence grew. Her grip tightened gently around their intertwined hands and her anxiety was ebbed a bit. The female was never good with relationships, especially after her miscarriage and her first and last divorce. Focusing on every little detail upon the pale haired female, her cold chest was filled with a phantom of a heart beat that startled the alpha, her eyes widening a bit. As Sylvia's hands landed on her cheeks, she snapped out of it and met her mate's gaze, finding excitement and joy filling her smile. Relief washed over her as the female swooped down and easily picked the medic up, spinning her in a circle with a happy laugh. Setting her down finally, she pressed her lips against Syl's for a few moments before both females pulled away. "Says the one who got flustered whenever I pressed even the lightest kiss to your neck, in front of everyone." The female teased right back with an arched brow and a smirk. She reached up a hand, tucking a loose strand of hair back behind her mate's ear before furrowing her brow. She didn't know what a Marking Ritual was? Well, Adesina was quite old compared to the young wolf, so it was possible it was never spoken of. "A Marking Ritual is where two mates mark one-another with a bite. It will scar over eventually and create a stronger bond between two mates, spiritually and physically." She explained before trailing a hand down to Syl's shoulder, her fingertips stopping just between her neck and shoulder. "Right there is where the mark typically goes."

Evangeline clung to Silas as she cried quietly into him, her body trembling and her breathing uneven, though she didn't even know why she was sobbing; it really wasn't needed- maybe simply an instinct. Soon enough, the male gingerly set her on the comfy bed and began pulling the covers to her shoulders. His words brought some comfort, but as he moved away, the warmth she felt was slowly diminishing away into the fabric of the blankets. Now, she just felt empty and cold. Rolling onto her side, she struggled to prop herself onto a single elbow but still managed and gently reached out, grabbing ahold of his wrist with a feeble grip. Sniffling quietly, she silently pulled him towards the bed and attempted to pull him down next to her; she yearned for his comforting touch, even if he had no clue what calming affect it had on her. "Please, just stay here with me. I don't know why but.." she paused for a moment to wipe her eyes, "your embrace makes the pain bearable a-and helps to calm me down. I know it sounds ridiculous, but it does. So please.." Evan breathed out unevenly, red strands sticking to her cheeks and her curly hair a mess. Even through the messy hair and reddened, tear stricken face with strands sticking, her eyes showed some kind of yearning and plea. "Stay with me.."

Upon Laz's request to hear about what happened and if Maliki had anything to do with her kidnapping. She licked her chops while studying her cousin, her mind reeling with the memories of her kidnap. "No, the kind man who bought me had nothing to do with this situation; in fact, from a few people, I've heard he went missing. I know a name, the one who they call Alpha here. Blake, I think it was. Though, not all are mean here, I've still been starved since they've gotten me. I actually..attacked and killed a blood servant. There was hardly anything left.." Her voice went silent for a minute before she lifted her nose towards Laz. "I just want to be home with you and mom and Vlad. Just to be home with my family.." A low whine left her once more before her lids shut momentarily. "Just..tell mom I'm safe, please and that I love her.."

Davina had ran off and helped clean off some dishes for dinner, her little arms reaching desperately into the sink as she stood on a stool that was just a hair too short. Humming loudly, the little girl continued cleaning. Damion watched from the hallway, his brow furrowing. Was this new Alpha serious? Having the children work to earn their keep? The male very much disagreed with this new rule and thought children should play and be taught the ways of what was needed to survive. Moving forward, Damion helped Davina with the dishes. "Daddy, why is Alpha Brax so grumpy? He seems kinda sad," she murmured, her humming stopping all together. He furrowed his brow and looked down at her, his hands stopping what they were doing. "I'm not sure, honey but maybe with a bit of extra love and help transitioning to this new pack, you can help him see the good things about our pack." He responded before going back to helping clean the dishes.

October had finally finished showing the newcomers to their room and left to allow them some time to get settled. Moving back out into the living room, she heard the front door open. Her dark, nearly black hues, flickered towards the door to find the male from earlier and Harper, her beta. With a warm smile, she moved forwards to greet the newcomer. "Ah! Hello Harper, and you must be Khenan! You're family has said much about you, welcome to our pack." Extending a hand to shake, she looked to Harper with a warm smile. "If you'd like to catch up with Damion and Davina, the new Alpha has her doing some dishes. Damion went to help, seeing how she was struggling just a tad, even with the new stool I bought. I can show you to your room if you're ready?" The female offered towards Khenan.

Khenan

Khenan did his best to fidn his way back, however he was not as familiar with the territory as Harper and easily lost track of their overlaying scents. Harper took off and sped along through the territory, that he was forced to keep at a run in order to keep up with the vampire, lest the wolf end up falling behind and getting lost, something he did not want at all. The wolf did arrive though at the house, a little while after Harper had done so, his pads nicked and stopped to grab his clothes in his mouth, Harper already there and telling him to hurry so she could so him to his room if he wanted. "Much...appreciated..." he panted mentally. Soon they entered the house and the newly appointed soldier, whatever that was in wolf terms, looked up as someone came towards them, holding out her hand. The wolf shifted back and held out his hand to her, never mind that said wolf was stark naked. "Yes," he said. Pulling his shirt over his head, the wolf didn't seem to care on his state of appearance as he pulled on his shorts he'd been wearing on the trip ignoring his shoes for the time being as they rested on the floor where he'd dropped them upon shifting.

The woman introduced herself as October and then mentioned the other child and the other male he had met briefly before Harper had taken him on patrol. Idly listening to the woman as she told Harper where the other man and the child were, she then offered to show him to his room. "That would be good, thank you. Eh...should we end up reporting to the alpha?" He looked between both women, seeking their opinion on the matter.

Following October into the castle, they could see it was quite large, Abha hanging onto Geisha's hand the entire time, appearing rather shy to everything around her.

"You and your love of history," muttered Geisha. "That's exactly what got you bitten. You just had to follow the 'attractive foreigner' who offered you a tour."

Larimar's cheeks tinged ash grey at her cousin's reminder of how she had gotten herself turned into a vampire. "He was cute."

"He also got his ass torn apart," reminded Geisha. They were left at their respective rooms, Geisha taking her niece into her room though the child did not seem happy and neither were the two women, but Abraxas had attacked Khenan. What would he do to the two women or the child with them? Thanking October, they settled into unpacking their things.

Secret hidden room, Custos

As soon as the needle slid into his vein, the alpha relaxed his fist and pressed the syringe, pushing the toxic liquid into his body. Concealed within the hidden room whose passage nobody knew about, the original alpha of Custos took a long breath and then exhaled when the last vestiges of the liquid emptied into his body, the alpha pulling out the syringe and setting it on the table as he undid the torquent around his upper arm. Stumbling onto a couch, the alpha collapsed and laid down, resting his head on the pillow there. Lying prone upon the couch, the alpha breathed slowly, allowing the serum to penetrate his bloodstream and body, not sure of the ramifications of testing himself but willing to do as he wouldn't have his pack do so. Thus, the alpha would not hear what was going on up in the alpha room between Sylvia and Adesina, the alpha's good eye glazing over as he stared up at the ceiling. He'd gotten Zumitri to soundproof the three hidden rooms, not sure what he would do now. On top of that mating season was soon and that meant the werewolves, that was Sylvia and Eden would be in heat soon with it being summer. Achilles was quiet, the wolf usually so when he underwent testing though he had fought it at first. Achilles still fought but it was less and less with each testing.

Hearing that the child had already attacked and killed someone at her age made the dhamphir smile. "Well, I'm sure your mother would worry but would be proud, as would your father from what your mother says of him." He didn't really care if the child killed someone or not, that was just their way as predators. She seemed to listen to him as he spoke briefly of the power their kind had once held, well their organization had once held before they had been nearly exterminated. "Of course I will," he promised, crossing his fingers over his heart and drawing an x. "You can tell her yourself when we manage to get you out of here. You just have to hang on and remember you're better than these purebloods, more powerful then them and to be feared." He frowned momentarily, his spirit beginning to fade. "I have to go...the boss won't be happy if I end up not securing food and checking on weapons as well as cleaning the place up but I will try to visit again if I am able. Stay strong little cousin."

Within seconds, Silvia was engulfed in a hug and spun in circles, she would have been confused about the speed of her reaction had Silvia not known any better. Being twirled for a moment had the werewolf laughing for a moment, though her hands did hold onto Adesina for extra support—she was still unused to being lifted so high and so quickly. The pale haired woman couldn’t remember the last time she had been spun, possibly when her brother had managed to come back for an early visit, aside from that she hadn’t managed to know that someone could lift her so effortlessly. Nevertheless Silvia grinned excitedly, eager to have made not only herself but also Adesina happy. However when she was put down and kissed, she didn’t imagine Sina pulling out that specific taunt her way. She merely stood there for a moment, cheeks flushing with color while her mouth opened and closed trying to explain herself, “I, uh, yeah? I’m not used to public affection—PDA and all that,” she defended weakly, pouting slightly.

The werewolf flicked her observant hues over towards Adesina briefly once she tucked a strand of hair behind her ear before she explained what the marking ritual actually was. For a good moment her brows furrowed, nodding occasionally as she processed the ritual in itself. It seemed strange, the possibility to strengthen a bond like that, and fascinating considering the multiple other things that were revealed to her in time about their world. She was still the ever eager learner, always wanting to figure out the limits or the possibilities but as she stood before Adesina with a smoothing smile and that twinkle in her eye, Silvia didn’t mind not knowing everything. As she continued to explain where that mark would go, chills ran up her spine when she pointed it out. “If that is what makes you feel like we are official—I wouldn’t mind having the ritual. Maybe I’ll let you when you come back tomorrow—we’ll never know until then,” she shrugged her shoulders casually before she brought her arms to loop around Adesina’s taller frame and over her shoulders, “Sound like a plan to you, Sina?”

By the time the male had moved ever so slightly away from the bed, Evangeline did not seem to like it. He felt her wrist and his ears strained to pick up the briefest sound of her rustling the sheets. Turning to look over his shoulder at Evangeline, brown swirling hues meeting her violet and broken ones, her words drifting to his ears allowed himself to be tugged down beside the vampire. He sat down on the bed before curling his arms around her slim frame, she didn’t have to ask him before he wound up hugging her to him. Her words merely just the permission. His anger was still there, ever growing and rising to very high heights at the wounds inflicted upon her. The tanned and ashen male sighed briefly before his hand struck out to brush away the strayed locks of hair sticking to her pale toned face. Her tears seemed to not recede so rather than comment about it he just lay there at her request. “If that is all I can do for now, then so be it, I’ll stay,” he informed, it was odd being gentle or considerate. The most considerate he could be considered was sparring some food or actually making conversation, an odd thing indeed. The brute’s drawl had little time to be restrained, Silas focusing on it storming out to hunt the human camp down. “Try and rest—even if we can’t sleep regain your energy.”

Turning her focus on the approach of Khenan, she turned in time to hear October approach, and at her words of giving the location of Damion and Davina—she nearly bolted had Khenan not stepped up to the door and shifted. She personally had no reaction to the half dressed brute as he asked if they should report. Harper groaned her displeasure, nearly having her freedom from deputy duty she looked back to Khenan, “I suppose I could do it, though it was supposed to be a tour rather than a scouting trip,” she grumbled. Her work ethic would be quite questionable if she didn’t get anything done, she was quite lazy but very quick and efficient after moaning and groaning about the entire thing first. “Go on and get dressed—October it was good seeing you again but it looks like my job is never over,” she waved to the female werewolf before waving goodbye to Khenan as well, “Get some good sleep tonight! Tomorrow we will start the morning patrols,” she informed before slipping away. Truthfully, Harper wished Khenan hadn’t brought up visiting the alpha for a report, she much rather be around with Davina and Damion before they all had to sleep. She would only get a moment before she had to run off and find Abraxas before he too went to bed leaving her and a select two others awake for the night.

Slipping into the kitchen silently, the vampire spotted Davina and Damion doing dishes, both working their best to scrub the dishes. Harper was reminded when she had to do the dishes, quite the nasty thing to do, especially when others left food on their purposely to make it gross. “Well look who it is, Shaggy and my little Davina!” she mused, hazel eyes sticking around the brute before landing on Davina as she worked dutifully on her stool. Harper couldn’t help but smile, though something else occurred in her thoughts, Abraxas’ statement about inter-relationships meaning death. Harper had watched what interbreeding did, saw a dhampir get beheaded for being born let alone the parents in question. Shaking her head of those thoughts the vampire kept up her grin while her hands rested on her hips.

She didn't seem too keen, in his opinion, of reporting on a simple tour to the new alpha and shrugged in response but watched the woman disappear before turning back to October. The soldier shrugged, looking around the castle. "I hope you do not get into a conversation with my cousin. She will ask all sorts of questions concerning the history of this...castle," he spoke to October. "I don't like this alpha...he seems cruel...making the child work."

Abraxas had unpacked his belongings after being left alone by the child and everything was neatly put away. Pulling out the shred of cloth the alpha had torn from the stewardess, he studied it before inhaling the scent left on it...as the scent was unfamiliar he needed it to hunt. As of yet, he had not come across his cousin's scent or seen her...but she could be wandering and that might explain why she not picked up the phone. Shifting the cloth between his fingers, Abraxas sat in one of the chairs, watching the outside of the home and waiting for darkness.

"Eden! Listen to me! Keep your eyes open, that's an order!" Adesina's voice called through the fogginess of Eden's beaten and broken mind, the tanned vixen hanging limply from her alpha's bloody arms- of course the blood wasn't her, it was a mixture of many that included Eden and the humans that died by Sina's hand. Her silver eyes flickered down to the huntress and sharpened with concern; the female wasn't looking too good. Her skin was paler than usual, covered in whip and claw marks, chain burns around both her ankles and wrists while also around her neck. The huntress' figure was thinner than it usually was and her hair was not as vibrant; even her once vivid emerald eyes were now dull and blurry from tears and loss of blood, starvation, and dehydration. Upon retrieving Eden, she had freaked out when seeing Ezra and screaming to not be touched by him, which was understandable seeing how she was tortured day and night yet it still hurt Adesina to see such a sight. She may not particularly care for Ezra, but he had nothing to do with her kidnapping, from the evidence and alibi he gave. The alpha had no choice but to trust him at this point, seeing how he helped get one of her loved ones back.

Approaching the house with dwindling speed, the vampire nearly stumbled up the stairs but managed to scale them quickly. She held Eden tightly in her arms and kicked the door open. "Sylvia! Get the medical table ready, ASAP! She's losing blood!" Adesina yelled, her voice powerful, vibrating through the entire house. The vixen would be astonished if nobody heard her. Whisking Eden into the medical wing with Ezra, she waited until the medical table was ready before setting Eden down gently. "Don't you dare close your eyes, Eden. We need you to keep them open, stay awake!" Adesina willed her desperately, but only got a shuddering cough of blood from Eden, her small frame curling slightly in on itself. The alpha growled quietly and carefully stretched her out so the bleeding wouldn't gush more than it was. Quickly moving to grab something to stop the bleeding, the female quickly pressed them to Eden's wounds only to receive an agonized cry from the huntress. Her emerald hues crackled to life with pain and agony, her entire body jerking away. "I-I can't handle anymore! No more torture! Just end it!" She screamed, her green eyes vivid with fear, as if she didn't recognize anything around her; it was almost like she was under some kind of daze. Eden weakly fought against Adesina, but ended up not having enough strength. A heaving cough hit her hard, causing the huntress to lurk forward, blood splattering against her dingy and bloodied clothing. Adesina's eyes flashed and she stared at the blood, all color leaving her face. Eden let out a whimper before weakly clutching her wounds, her small body falling back against the medical bed once more. "D...Don't touch..me.." The female whispered, her energy dwindling. At this moment, Adesina felt completely helpless; the female was bleeding out on the medical bed and the stench was making the alpha sick to her stomach. Lifting her desperate gaze to Silvia, she pressed the bloodied rag back onto the the bleeding wounds. Eden squirmed and whined, her eyes filling with tears.

Ordan Xiulan
Alpha Room to Infirmary
Ordan felt horrible the next morning, the alpha having passed out within the hidden room, only to somehow wake in the night and stumble his way towards the alpha room where he collapsed on his bed, eyes bloodshot and rather pale. Achilles seemed to be off as well, the dosage sapping energy from both sides of the werewolf alpha. Whether it was due to the higher dosage, the not being tested in two months, or something else; the alpha didn't know but he wasn't feeling the greatest and wanted nothing but to sleep. Unfortunately, his wish would be unanswered.

Sienna had spent her time throwing out things in the fridge that were no longer good and that was pretty much everything. The girl was awake, trying to look for something to eat but it seemed the absence of not having anyone within the house for two months had slipped father's mind for there didn't seem to be much of anything. There was a stirring as paws shifted behind and she turned to see her brother standing there, the younger child of Ordan and Clover feeling that same familiar fear that struck her when she saw her brother in his wolf form; this only being the second time she had seen him as a wolf. He seemed a bit confused but grasped in his mouth was the infant that hung precariously between his jaws, yellow eyes staring at her in confusion and hurt. "Saul..." she winched as a scream tore through the home and quickly took the child from her brother. "Please...turn back for the love of God," she hissed at him, fear strangling the plea from her. The brown wolf looked at her before lowering its head and turned, ears twitching as the scream echoed through the house. Meanwhile, Xiulan began crying, tears already glistening on her cheeks. "Honestly father should have been prepared..." she muttered to herself, her brother's claws clicking over the linoleum as he followed the echo of the shout and came into the infirmary, staring at the vampire and the scent of blood, the vampire making his wolf snarl in fear and anger, causing Saul to shake his head.

She breathed a sigh of relief when her brother left the room and then looked down at the child. "I don't suppose you're human by any chance?" she questioned as Xiulan cried. She couldn't deny that she felt out of place here. She appeared helpless, unsure what to do for the child. Her brother, meanwhile, watched as a woman was lain down on the bed and there seemed to be a male with the vampire. Turning, he dashed out of the room, searching for his father whose scent he sadly had not familiarized himself with in the two months the children had been with their sire. He wasn't sure how to contact his father either in this form and his wolf was at a loss as well. The boy tried to think where his father might be, then remembered where he had found the infant and went towards the central tower, bursting through the door and rushing up the stairs to where he had found the infant. Not seeing his father there, he whined in confusion, ears going against his head and looked around, turning and trying to search for his father's scent or even any sight of the wolf.

Deciding to try the top door, the wolf gagged as he scented sickness and vampire, the wolf running into the room, father's scent heightened here and he made his way towards the bed where his father's cent came from. Running headlong into the bed, Saul yelped as he hit the foot of the bedframe, startling his father who rolled over, Saul rushing over and whining. Unsure how to communicate in this form, he began barking and whining, grasping his father's hand and tugging at it, trying to get his father to move. "Saul...I assume that is you? What is it?" His son didn't respond, only whined and tugged again at his father's hand, the alpha's head dropping back to the bed. "Go do something...but stay in the house," he groaned, attempting to go back to sleep.

"What puppy want?" yawned Achilles, grumbling about being woken. The wolf coughed weakly as Ordan's eye flashed colors, now silver staring at the brown wolf which was dazed. "Go away puppy!" Achilles rumbled in his head. It must have echoed in the boy's head because the alpha yelped and slammed a fist into Saul's nose as the puppy bit him, the alpha snarling as he sat up, lips drawing back as a rumbling growl echoed in the air.

Saul shook at the voice in his head, but instinct...likely by his wolf, made the boy cower at the side of the bed as his father growled at him, a plaintive whine coming from the brown wolf on the floor. Though Saul didn't know what to do or why father was angry, his wolf seemed to understand it had acted in error towards its sire and followed an ingrained instinct, body going limp and becoming submissive before the alpha. It took Ordan some time to understand what was going on, blood filling his nose and not from the puppy who was still cowering on the floor. The alpha rumbled to himself about stupid puppies and growling down at the cowering wolf, reluctantly stood as he scented blood coming from the open doorway.

Stumbling from his bed, the alpha reached down and grabbed the whelp, tossing it towards the door. "Out!" Whining as he hit the floor, Saul bolted out of the room as his father tried to ascertain what was so necessary for his son to wake him from slumber. Obviously neither man nor wolf appreciated being woken and were taking it out on the wrong people. Not even bothering to grab a shirt, the alpha growled menacingly as he made his way to the door and stumbled down the stairs of the alpha tower, leaning against the wall as he could hardly walk straight, both from the lack of sleep and his body unknowingly reacting negatively to the deadly toxins he'd put into his body.

Silvia A. Brandt / Ezra H. Hastings
Location: Custos Infirmary
Interaction: Eden/Adesina Eliruz Eliruz

The male was barely considered human, not with the way he had been drenched, the brute was in more than a fit of rage. Ezra had met with Adesina at dawn, meaning they really got into their business with no delay as he expected and wanted. The male was dead set on driving to this camp and taking Eden back, however Adesina wanted him to still clear his name. It would have been far worse if he didn’t, and if he hadn’t he was sure the vampire would have tried to kill him. That was behind him now, Wong with the amounting dead bodies he left at that camp. Ezra ended up shifting, unable to keep up with the group. Adesina was able to fight without the need of another form while Ezra struggled with three at a time. In the end Ezra shifted, no matter how distasteful it would be for them. The shift wasn’t easy, and now as he huddled and waddled along with Adesina as she carried Eden to the house. Ezra was bare chested and scarred with his skin was decorated in that grotesque and sickly liquid.

His eyes never left Eden, she was badly wounded and if anything else dead looking. She had been clear on what she wanted—and it wasn’t him. Ezra has trailed behind, making sure Adesina and Eden has gotten away first before even getting out himself. He couldn’t be too close, it was like he had been the center cause of her pain and misery. It was eating him up on the inside, the path he would take would be like walking on eggshells. The male followed after the pair as Adesina called for another woman—she was but a faint afterthought compared to Eden as she begged not to be touched. He was compelled to reach out, to comfort her but he wouldn’t. His body refused after the first reaction she had to him. Eden wouldn’t want to be around him anymore, not that she had in the first place. Elias was one to agree with the anxiety building up, inside Ezra; blaming him and becoming negative. Even then he didn’t walk inside the infirmary, no he just stood far away in the corner near the doorway, he only caused her trouble. He had taken his anger out already, which left him a ball of grief and concern.

Silvia—who was in the room sitting down, launched to her feet and pushed past anything in her way as her hands struck out—against Eden’s wishes or not she didn’t care. The pale haired werewolf gave no else a care in the world, her attention on the bleeding werewolf. She couldn’t help but recall the last time someone was bleeding out on her time, and her hands shook for a moment before she straightened herself out. Silvia nearly recoiled though when Eden looked around fearfully almost as if she was about to be stabbed...she was but not the way she was expecting. Turning away Silvia snatched a cloth—this wouldn’t be the best medical solution to knocking Eden out but it would possibly numb the werewolf. She had a list to do just with the way she looks—stitching, examination, medication, IV, possibly fixing breaks or re-breaking bones—to say the least Silvia would need anesthetic. Dabbing a liquid onto a cloth before turning around to face Eden, Silvia had only a singular thought. She is gonna hurt herself, to stop that from occurring she would need to numb the pain and put her to sleep so that hysterics won’t take over.

Silvia flashed her eyes over towards the doorway for a moment before approaching Eden, “No one can hurt you now, but you need to breath,” she encouraged, she had worked with children before and it was wise to assume Eden could respond positively to some kind of similar encouragement. She was in pure work mode, tuning out other things that could distract her. However as she looked at Eden’s crippled and wounded form she knew everything would need to be prepped—her body needed to be cleaned so she could work otherwise it could be infected. Turning to Adesina who still stood with a cloth to press against her wounds, Silvia stared her in the eye, “Anyone who is tempted needs to leave and anyone who is in the way needs to leave,” she told her, “I want you to make sure we aren’t disturbed, if I stop for even a second I could cause more damage,” she spoke again in a softer tone before turning to Eden who was near about to cry. Silvia has befriended Eden, vice versa, so seeing her like that had her in some form of disarray. But she knew she could help, so hopefully it would turn out just fine. Silvia wouldn’t be able to handle internal damage, not without a trip to the hospital for an x-ray and thermal ratings. If anything her healing should focus on the inside while Silvia handles everything on the out. “Now, Eden, keep breathing, try and relax. I know you are scared, but if you don’t calm down things could get worse,” she tried to soothe, brining the clothe just above her nose, their was a possibility just that small amount would be enough to calm her but Silvia didn’t want to knock her out for hours just yet. She would need to begin asking questions of where things hurt to decipher where the internal damage was.

Jaehwa
Interacting: Eliruz Eliruz Mentions: scorpiodragon scorpiodragon

Jaehwa was conflicted. On the one hand, Ordan was finally going to be able to spend time with his children. It was a well-deserved occasion. Don't get him wrong: he was happy for the alpha. But... there was something about this entire situation that was off-putting. He felt like he didn't quite belong in their dynamic, like he was the piece of the puzzle that just wouldn't fit. This was a wrong way of thinking, and he knew it, but he couldn't seem to help himself. Thus, he spent a great amount of his time ever since he'd returned to their pack's territory by himself. Cleaning, cooking, gardening... He kept himself distracted in any way he could find, trying his best not to overthink and worry himself to death. Tarquin was only making things worse. He was antagonistic and seemed to think Ordan's children would take all of the alpha's attention from what really mattered: them.

It was getting harder and harder not to just give in and let Tarquin take over.

"We have to assert dominance. Fight for our man," Tarquin insisted. Jaehwa huffed and rolled over in bed, trying to ignore his inner wolf's annoying desires. He was still in one of the omega rooms, wanting the comfort that came with familiarity, having set up the portable crib in his room for Xiulan for the time being. He knew she could sleep in the nursery, but he’d have to take blankets with him and sleep in there with her, and right now he didn’t feel up to that. Still, there was a deep part of him that wanted to ask Ordan if they could sleep together. But, yet again, that just didn't feel right to him anymore. It was as though that wasn't something he could do now that Ordan's kids were here. He didn't want to be a bother, or to force more onto Ordan's plate than he could chew. So... "Come! On! Listen to what I'm sayin' here! We could just--"

"No," came Jaehwa's reply. He sat upright in bed, rubbing weakly at his head. He didn't sleep well last night, part of that due to the fact that Tarquin wouldn't shut up, and the other part due to his own worrywart nature. Falling back to sleep was such a tempting idea that Jaehwa fell for it. He flopped back down, pulling the covers up over his head and sighing. "Ah... Just five more minutes." He could spare that much time, couldn't he? Most of the housework, he'd plowed through yesterday, ignoring his packmates and avoiding them like they had the plague. He shouldn't have too much to do today.

Tarquin groaned. "You're no fun. No fun at all." Jaehwa smiled at that, although it was sad and nothing like the smiles that usually found their way onto his face. "What's your problem? Keep it simple, stupid! Don't go overthinking things like you usually do; there's no point in that. Our instincts will keep us afloat!" He wished it were that easy. But it wasn't. At least not for him. He couldn't just let impulse get the better of him. Rational may be fleeting, but that didn't mean he was going to give up on it.

That's when the smell of blood wafted up to Jaehwa's room, the scent followed by the sound of the door slamming and Adesina yelling. Sniffing once, then twice, he pulled the covers off his body and got off the bed. With a speed he didn't know he had, and without checking to see if Xiulan was still in her crib, he was bursting out of his room and rushing down to the foyer. A trail of blood led from there to the healing room, which Jaehwa scrambled to follow, the strong smell of iron nauseating. The moment he entered the ward, he regretted it. Covering his nose and mouth with a weak hand, his eyes went wide.

“Oh, fucking hell,” Tarquin breathed, Jaehwa barely registering that he’d given the wolf temporary control until his body was moving without him telling it to. He dug through the cabinets, trying desperately to locate more clean towels to help in some way, somehow. Helpless, he felt helpless and completely out of his own mind. It was as though he was watching scenes of a movie but through his own eyes.

Realizing this, Jaehwa snapped back, but his mind was still blocking out a lot of unnecessary senses in a futile attempt to protect his already deteriorating mental state. “What happened?” he asked Adesina and Silvia, returning to their sides with fresh towels. He looked around anxiously, trying not to let his gaze settle on Eden’s weak, bloodied form for too long.

In the midst of the chaos, and unfamiliar scent hit his nose. Jaehwa blinked a few times, his eyes stinging, before turning around to try and see who or what it was. A small boy with pink hair stood in the doorway, his eyes blown wide at the traumatizing sight. His hands were wrung together worriedly, fear plain on his features, and he seemed to be hesitant to even enter the healing room. He also looked on the verge of throwing up, much to Jaehwa's dismay.

The omega cursed under his breath. What the hell was going on?

Xen had been out of it. He wandered the woods aimlessly, returning to the Custos home only for food, water, and, occasionally, sleep. It was during one such long walk that the Custos pack had returned home, although Xen didn’t notice at first. He managed to avoid them when he came in, sleeping in the obviously used guest bedroom and ransacking the newly stocked fridge whenever no one was around for fresher food than what he’d been eating lately. It was when he heard yelling and smelled the musty scent of blood that he noticed there were actually other people here, people who had probably been here for the past two days that he’d spent in the woods.

With shaky hands, he pulled out Zumitri’s phone, eyes making their way to the message he’d ignored in his delusional haze.

Ordan
them
Are you still alive whelp? If so, my pack is back in Ithawell and if you require assistance, you may text me. There's no guarantee I will answer though right away.

He swallowed audibly. However, now wasn’t the time to regret not checking the phone earlier. Besides, such a thing couldn’t be expected from him; he was too traumatized and without guidance to pick up on the signs and piece things together. But, he did know that he needed to make his presence known to these people now, lest they think he was an intruder and kill him. Well, technically he was one, but still.

Opening the door to his temporary home, the guest bedroom, Xen slipped out and followed the scent of blood. Was one of the pack members injured? They must be, what with all the yelling that was going on. He hoped it wasn’t too severe, but upon coming across the blood trail from the foyer, he knew it was bad. That thought made him sick. He didn’t want to see another mangled body. Not now, not ever.

Commotion came from the healing room, which Xen had only visited once or twice when figuring out the layout of the house. He was terrified, worried about what he might see if he continued to move closer, but curiosity and a desire to make himself known now that he knew Custos had returned home kept his feet moving. Eventually, he was standing in the doorway. His eyes immediately caught sight of the girl who was bleeding out and coughing up blood. The male who had just seconds earlier been scurrying around to find towels had spotted him, but Xen was too busy staring with scared eyes at the scene before him to speak up.

“Who are you?” the guy asked, looking conflicted between helping his friends or identifying Xen who, after all, could be a potential threat.

Xen stammered several times, incoherent words and babbles leaving his mouth before he seemed to get ahold of himself. “X-Xen. Zumitri’s…” He couldn’t find it in him to even continue with that train of thought, and it looked like the male didn’t even care at this point, too panicked and concerned about the injured girl to do anything about Xen right now. Fair enough. Xen didn’t think he could even do anything about himself at the moment, either. He simply continued to stand there like a deer in headlights, sniffling and trying his best not to throw up.

Medical Room

Adesina stared, horrified as her close friend bled and curled back into herself- or atleast attempted to. It was painful to see one of her closest friends so hurt, but she knew she needed to help out someway. Eden breathed in and tensed at a familiar scent that caused Ellie to surface. Snapping her emerald-to-golden hues, Eden's voice lowered a bit to accomadate Ellie's presence. "E-Elias!" The female yelped out when pressure was applied a second time by Adesina. Ellie desperately searched for the male, only seeing a partial figure in the doorway before disappearing as a frantic Jae darted inside. It became very crowded, causing Ellie to grow protective of her space, a feeble snarl leaving her lips. When Silvia spoke to her and carefully lifted the rag just above her nose, the scent wafted into her nostrils. Slowly but surely, her body became numb, the pain ebbing. Obeying the female, she slowed her breaths and breathed slowly. Eden's hues shifted back to their normal green tones and her tears slowly trickled down her cheeks.

Adesina nodded quietly towards Silvia and gave her a serious look. "You've got this, Silvia. Jae, if you can't handle helping, come with me and I can explain what happened." With that, the alpha moved out in front of the doorway and stood there. Sina looked towards Ezra who was nearly completely covered in blood. Scrunching her nose in distaste, she motioned towards the bathroom down the hallway. "Go clean yourself up. Eden will need your support when she is healing. You're still apart of this pack," the female ordered him and managed to swipe a towel from the medical wing. Quickly moving to the room across, she snagged a pair of extra sweatpants and a shirt from the clothes she'd bought in case someone needed extras. Moving back towards the doorway to block it, she handed it to the male and offered a faint but stern smile. With that, she assumed her position, though when she breathed in, a sickly smell wafted into her nostrils. She seemed a bit confused, turning her gaze towards the stairs to hear whining and yelling from upstairs. Furrowing her brow, she saw Saul dart down he stairs in a brown blur and could smell Ordan's scent mixed with whatever was going on with the sickening scent.

Eden trembled, her eyes flickering towards Ezra desperately, her fingers twitching towards his direction. Feeling an uncomfortable pressure on her wounds, the female whimpered loudly and squeezed her eyes shut. "Silver whips..daggers..chains..f-fights between cell mates..can't hand anymore.." The huntress managed to force out a croak, her vision becoming blurry; she was losing too much blood. "I'm..sleepy.." She whispered under her breath as her eyes began fluttering open and closed, her strength dwindling greatly.

Oliver & Rhea
Somewhere in Lichen Territory
As soon sunset had come, Oliver had departed from the medical room and headed out to hunt, his sister stripping and shifting into her wolf and leaving the house as well, pacing the grounds while waiting for her brother. The female wolf was worried concerning what they were about to do, after all the siblings had not spoken regarding their family at all or their past with anyone within Lichen. It took an hour for her brother to return, his face and clothes splattered with blood as he returned but had color in his cheeks as he saw the chocolate brown wolf pacing nervously. "If you are too adverse to what is our job, I'll go on my own."

Rhea shook her head and turned towards her brother, blinking slowly at him. "Very well. I suppose wolf form is fastest...I will need you to try to track where the girl has been so we can track her location."

Nodding once, Rhea exhaled out a breath of air and placed a paw on the ground, shifting the earth underneath her paw and bowing her head. Using Anla and the memories of Evangeline's flight through the forest in an attempt to get away, the images at first were blurry, the werewolf forced to concentrate on one task at a time. Her eyes glowed, as did all wolves' eyes in the darkness, Oliver shifting into a brown wolf himself and looked around, his night vision taking effect in the evening sky. Together with his sister's infrared perception, they would be able to hunt effectively.

"I have something...the images are blurry but she was here and seems to go....north."

"Then let's go,"
Oliver growled, the siblings taking off into the territory.

Abraxas
Ithawell Outskirts
Abraxas had waited for night until he shifted and left the house, the alpha turning into his own wolf that stood quite tall. Having inhaled the scent of the woman, the Boreal alpha left home and headed out into the territory, searching for the woman who had dared tell him what to do. Heading towards the town of Ithawell, the domain of humans from his bit of understanding, at a run despite the territory being foreign to him. At a couple of points, the alpha nearly took a wrong turn and risked plummeting to the abyss below but managed to find his way through the territory. It took him a while to find the woman, having to search amidst the scents of other humans and avoiding strange humans with guns who patrolled around the area at night. When he finally did, the alpha followed the woman and then attacked, tearing into her as soon as he dropped down upon her from a balcony hanging over a side street with blown out street lights. The thudding of his body broke the woman's back and teeth found their way towards her neck, cutting off her scream before it began. Morning found the wolf on the Ithawell Outskirts, near the old fortress, stomach full from the meal he had eaten, snoozing within the shadows of a wall of the fort, ears twitching as he slept.

Khenan Abha Geisha
Boreal House
Morning found the child in her father's room as he woke that morning, knowing he had a patrol to do that morning. The soldier slowly woke, finding his child curled up beside him in his bed, not even sure how she had found his room. Getting to his feet, Khenan grabbed some fresh clothes and headed out of his room to go find a bathroom so he could take a shower and be prepared for this morning patrol they were supposed to do today though he was uncertain how a vampire was supposed to do anything in the daylight. Abha continued sleeping, even as her father woke and left his room, the pup not used to sleeping on her. Ever since she had been born, she had always slept with her father and so had no idea how to adjust without him which was why she had sought her father out in the night, slipping past Aunt Geisha's room.

Geisha was also awake though not because she wanted to be. She wanted to check out the infirmary and see if there were any other healers within this pack that could show her around the territory, at least as far as where herbs were grown or where medicinal plants tended to be in the event of needing to help heal someone. She hadn't paid too much attention the previous evening, upset that the alpha had said Abha would need to work for her keep and that he didn't care that she always slept with her father since she had been born. Geisha wandered outside and looked around, blinking her eyes at the morning sunlight and beginning to head off around the house to check the permiter.

Ordan
Infirmary

Saul tripped and tumbled down the stairs as he lost his footing in his hurry to get away from his father, picking himself up halfway down and rushed headlong down the stairs, turning at the last minute yet skidding along the floor as he did so, taking the turn too quickly. He wasn't sure where to go and so headed instead to where his room was. If Saul ended up becoming a permanent member of the pack, his position was likely to be omega or subordinate with the way he was behaving, maybe a higher rank if he could end up getting control of his wolf and fear. Regardless, the scent of blood grew stronger as Ordan descended the stairs, ignoring his son who he saw running away. The blood scent just kept getting stronger, making the wolf's growl deepen. Closing his eyes, the alpha leaned his entire body against the wall, blood coiling within the air, the scent coming from what he thought was the infirmary. Sneezing, Ordan's eyes opened as he made his way away from the tower and turned towards the hallway leading to the rest of the house, heading down it until he got to the infirmary and passing some omega rooms on the way.

Still appearing rather pale and sickly himself, Ordan cast a glance towards the front door before continuing down the hall, wrinkling his nose as Achilles tried to sleep within their head. "Why we up?"

"Blood...hurt,"
spoke Ordan.

"Damn puppy..." Achilles grumbled before going silent, the wolf coughing harshly in his head. Ordan lifted a hand to rub at his head as he made his slow stumbling way to the infirmary, finally appearing within the doorway and looking around.

"What..." Ordan started before coughing. He looked around as he searched for the source of the blood wafting through the air, his good eye lighting on the injured form of his huntress. Snarling to himself, the alpha moved through the infirmary and headed over to Eden's side, whether the alpha saw the rest of his pack or the stranger within his house, was unknown. Staring down at the female, Ordan studied her as he took in the injuries to her body. The alpha began circling the bed, continuing to study the female and ignoring everyone else within the room before coming to a stop at the head of the table and putting his head on Eden's neck. Raising his other hand to his mouth as he coughed, the alpha contemplated Eden's form, the blood spilling from her. It would need to be scrubbed down with bleach later and the entire infirmary disinfected most likely.

"Her pain can be taken from her," spoke Ordan as he studied the female.

The pale haired werewolf tossed the rag aside once it was no longer needed, she was about to grab another when things got blurred together—it was growing crowded and she wasn’t the only one to notice, however the one person she expected to be storming in wasn’t, almost as if he had been a well trained puppy out of nowhere. Silvia paid no mind to the odd behavior until Eden’s wolf took control for a time, calling out for what she could assume was Ezra’s other half. Silvia’s mind was darting from noise to noise, her heartbeat moving erratically added to the thundering of noise as she worked. It was hard for her to focus on the others, in fact she ignored every last one of them as she grabbed syringes and even splayed our needles and stitches. She needed to clean the wound first, but there wasn’t much time for her to really clean the wounds. Her movements were jagged, slowing down as she turned to quickly gain her own footing again before applying pressure to a rather nasty gash in her stomach. Eden would have to be stripped down to treat every wound and Silvia was on a time limit. “What’s her blood type? We are going to need a transfusion!” she hissed.

Ezra, as motionless as he had seemed by the door way heard Ellie call out, and the negative Nancy Elias reacted quickly. It was like he wasn’t covered in blood and a mess, like he hadn’t seen the fear in Eden’s eyes when in reality such a moment slammed back into his memories when a dark haired werewolf rushed by. “Ellie?” Ezra has little control as the wolf broke free to talk. Eden, or rather Ellie, reacted rather harshly to the crowding and growled out at the few people rushing around her. Ezra and Elias both wanted to be at her side, however as he went to take a step inside it wasn’t just the sharp glare from Silvia that had him stepping back, it was Adesina telling him to clean himself up. He wouldn’t leave, he couldn’t, he was tethered to Eden and Ellie, he’d do what he could when he could and wouldn’t budge otherwise. It was hard to really focus on the chaos, and the contorting features of the pale haired one was a key sign that if anyone else entered she might just explode. That observation was only half the truth.

Silvia was beginning to tug at the ripped clothing, eyes zeroing in on an exposed and rotting wound before finding herself fumbling to remove the bloodied piece of clothing on her skin. She would also need to hook up an IV, and as she rushed to wipe away the muck and grime, Ordan walked in. The werewolf nearly yelled at him but found it better to think about that first. The last time an incident occurred where Silvia spoke out against Ordan left her frightened and on the floor in a corner. She shied away for a mere second, heart racing as Adesina left and stated her trust in her. Silvia needed silence. However as Ordan coughed and said something, the healer was not listening, trying to stop the blood leakage. However his proximity to the table would be troublesome to work around, but Silvia may have the courage to bark orders at others but she lacked any to comfort Ordan or even speak against him. “Eden—you’ll make it, I swear! If you are in this room you will be applying pressure to her wounds, if you are worried about getting blood on you and don’t want to help then get out,” she managed before wiping away at the wound at last, in fact she had already begun the procedure to sew back the damage to regrow. She would have to do this several times, in fact she would have to examine every inch of the werewolf to make sure every cut, niche and scrape was cleaned. Though as the first wound was being worked on, her eyes snapped to the blood still sleeping out, and as a last minute resource she began applying pressure with cloths and hands. Her next resource to make up for the amount of wounds was to take gauze and wrap the clothes to her wounds in hopes of keeping her stable.

Ezra let his green hues snap to Ordan, not particularly fond of him but willing to comply for the time being. He spoke like he could help but didn’t look like it, in fact Ezra thought he was high on something, but in the end he tried not to growl and snarl—or keep Elias from doing those things as he touched Eden. “How? I want to take it away—the pain. You barely can walk, I’ll take it away from her if you tell me how,” he sounded wounded despite the few gashes on his body re-knitting the wounds together again. He looked to the brute, if he knew how to make it better then Ezra wanted it done and would encourage it to be done. Silvia kept quiet, ignoring the males as she worked, hands moving quickly to stop bleeding and going in and clean up wounds to stitch them back together. She had found that if the top layer was sewed back together it would enable or encourage the tissue to come back together as well—their body doing what it could to help. Silvia just needed to make sure she could get it done fast enough.

Ordan
Infirmary
The alpha continued staring at Eden as she bled out on the table, hand resting the huntress's neck, the alpha barely picking up Silvia's movements as she moved around the table and then finally shouted for help, her voice changing as she spoke of everyone in the room needing to help or leaving.

"So...is my blood the same or has it changed with this thing in me?"

Zumitri settled into a chair at his friend's bedside, an IV bag dripping medicine and painkillers into the alpha through a needle attached to his hand. "Your blood type is still the same Ordan. The curse...this...for lack of a better word...lycanthrophy wolf venom doesn't seem to have altered your blood type beyond giving you the abilities of these..."

"Monsters," said Ordan, waving his injured hand dismissively. "Nothing wrong with speaking the truth Zumi."

The doctor's lips twitched into a slight smile even if his eyes were sad. "You are not a monster Ordan. That creature inside you may be but regardless of our...deeds...we are not monsters."

"If you say so," said Ordan. His friend frowned but did not press the issue. "So how do we tell the blood type of a werewolf?

"I would suggest taking blood samples and bringing them to me or having me do it of anyone in your pack. The blood type of werewolves should be the same from what my knowledge is. It doesn't seem to affect or alter the blood in any way. At least yours is the same."

"And...vampires?"

Zumitri sighed. "Vampires are a tricky business Ordan. They'd be likely to kill me..." He paused as his friend growled and his eyes flashed silver. "I know...you wouldn't let them harm me...nor would you allow them to hunt our other friends. From what I have been able to see, vampires live off blood as the legends say yes?"

"To my understanding. I guess they can eat food or something but it gives no nutrition like it does us. I didn't really stick with that vampire long enough to do talk...she was creeping out Achilles and myself."

"Then I guess that is one myth that is true." At his friend's look, Zumitri patted Ordan's hand. "That vampires and werewolves are mortal enemies and would kill each other....or immortal I guess if you are a vampire. But," he leaned back in his chair and laced his fingers together, resting them under his chin. "Regarding vampires, it seems the blood they take swirls within their veins for a while before reabsorbing into the organs. It's that which keeps their bodily functions continuing, minus their hearts which stop when they turn. I can only assume purebloods are born with a heart as well which beats too slowly to be picked up with technology."

"So they appear dead regardless though they are alive in some way."

"Correct," said Zumitri. "If I had to guess, I would say that is why newborn vampires, despite having a 7-month gestation period, appear to be lethargic and resemble the size of a five and a half month gestation preemie but..."

"But you don't exactly have experience with vampire births or pregnant vampires."

Zumitri nodded. "I think we're getting off track."

Ordan grumbled to himself to which his friend sighed and continued. "As I was saying..."

"Before you were so rudely interrupted?"

"Cheeky," Zumitri said, only to get a pillow thrown in his face. "My guess is that vampire blood is altered when they are turned but I am not sure how. I don't know if the vampire venom ends up destroying the bloodstream or altering it in some way. I just know it seems to change the cells in the vampire but this is only in turned vampires. The mysteries of born vampires are unknown to me. For these turned vampires...these...bitten did you call it?" At his friend's nod, Zumitri hummed thoughtfully, throwing the pillow back at his friend who sat up and placed it behind him, leaning against it. The silence between the friends stretched for some time as Zumitri thought over the information. "Vampires...well, it's impossible to tell who will be turned into a vampire so there's no real way to get the blood of these bitten vampires before and after they are attacked. Going near one that's been newly turned, as it is with these bitten werewolves who have been newly sired is a dangerous business."

"Don't take risks Zumitri just because we're trying to find a way to destroy them."

"You don't need to worry about me," said Zumitri. "I'm not hotheaded like Magnus or you." He raised an eyebrow at his friend who flushed.
"I can only assume that with vampire blood, the blood they take alters their type in some way but unless we can capture one alive and confine it, then we won't know for sure. The vampire venom seems more aggressive though against the body then the werewolf venom. For now, it's best to go with the tentative assumption that the blood of a vampire is altered significantly but since they seem to keep their memories of their lives...perhaps it does not alter too much."

"Suggestions?"

"Take their blood when they are here and send or bring it to me. Until you can get a healer or healers, even when you get them, it will be worthwhile to have on record. If they refuse....then you can always knock them unconscious. That won't affect the blood taken though it will take a few days to test the blood of your packmates. I would need you to label the vial with their name though so I do not confuse the blood type results."

Ordan heard Achilles' questioning whine in his head, the wolf must have seen the flashback. Everything came back to him though as the blood hit his nose again, the alpha mentally brushing off Achilles tired concern. Raising his eyes as he heard someone speaking to him, he turned to watch Silvia working on Eden's body, applying pressure and trying to tend to the wounds at the same time. The alpha was glad he had stripped her memory of the vampire having its head beheaded on the table...she wouldn't be any good if she still had that memory. "One of you get an IV set up. Slide the needle into her hand and tape it there so it cannot be taken out...hopefully she is under enough not to rip it out. If necessary, I will have her restrained but that will make the work difficult," said Ordan. The alpha sighed to himself...he missed his friend in times like this. Zumitri could have helped and alleviated some stress off of Silvia. It was his own fault for not having any other healers in this pack. There might be only one way to correct that problem....

Absently, Ordan trailed his hand down Eden's neck, keeping skin contact with the female when another's voice garnered his attention. Turning his gaze towards the voice, the alpha's eyes found the little whelp that had hurt the woman on the table before. He spoke of wanting to help Eden and that he would take her pain away but needed guidance. "Of course you do," spat Ordan. He dropped his gaze to Eden, rumbling to himself as his eyes closed for several minutes before removing his hand from her neck. Opening them again, he spoke. "You need skin contact," he said. "Come...put your hand here," he placed his hand on the crook of her neck where he felt her pulse fluttering. Ordan moved aside so the whelp could take his place. "To relieve her pain, you take it upon yourself. Usually it comes with practice as a wolf but it lies within our ability empathy. Taking away her pain will relieve her of her suffering...barring her pain that will hopefully be little as Silvia operates on her, however you will feel everything she has suffered these past..." Ordan paused thoughtfully, "...couple months of absence from her pack's safety. Foolish huntress," he said, dropping his gaze towards Eden and scolding the injured female. "The pain will fade eventually from the wolf who takes it, however it can vary from weeks to months, not just physical pain but mental and emotional pain as well. Sometimes it can drive the wolf who takes the pain away insane...guilt usually contributes to potential insanity but not always...are you certain you wish to continue this path?"

Adesina watched as people rushed in and out of the room, her eyes glowing with agitation until Ordan finally stumbled in. She watched him with a mix of confusion and concern when she identified the sickening smell coming from his body. The alpha was about to say something about his condition, but he had already moved inside and was next to Eden. The huntress was slowly looping in and out of consciousness, her emerald hues fluttering open hazily and finding the dark haired male above her. Her lips moved to speak, but only a quiet whimper left her. Though she looked sickly, her body was slowly attempting to repair the damage; the skin that was now sewn up and currently being sewn was slowly but surely weaving itself together yet it would take days, maybe weeks for her to fully gain back mobility. Ellie tried pushing through, but somehow, the returning pain shoved the wolf back down. Eden's muscles tensed up and a quiet whine left her when she felt Silvia tugging at a stitch or two. Being fully awake at this point, her eyes snapped up to Ordan, who had a hand trailing carefully down her neck. Not only pain but also emotional agony filled her eyes before she quickly looked away, her breath coming out raggedly. After a moment, her entire body jerked upwards in response to another stitch, a loud snarl that soon died feebly left her lips.

Her eyes snapped forward towards her alpha and the now approaching male. She listened, straining to hear what Ordan spoke of and her eyes widened, her gaze flickering between the two. Gathering her strength to speak, she growled quietly, which just sounded like a faint rumble. "N-No..leave it..the pain is mine..to bear..I don't want..anyone to experience..it.." The words came out in a raspy tone, her breath hitching in her throat when another wave of pain hit. A cry of pain left her lips and her form struggled not to jerk away from Silvia's working hand. As she trembled on the table and her ripped clothes were pulled away a bit for Silvia to work, one of the biggest wounds that was obvious was the long scar cutting across her abdomen but..it had been cut open, as if her torturer was taunting her child loss. Memories spilled into her mind and with renewed tears trickled down Eden's bloodied cheeks, her lids closing slowly. All of the silver weapons, the mental and physical abuse, and even physical violations from those sick humans; if anyone from her pack knew..she wouldn't know what they would do. Maybe throw her out? Maybe go after her captors that were practically shredded by her rescuers? It was obvious something very wrong had gone on there, but she just refused to let anyone know it.

The pale haired werewolf was working quickly, mind thrumming with the decision to move on from one wound to the next. Silvia was under pressure and she was managing it decently, however as time went on it felt familiar, like she has experienced it but slightly different with another scenario. She had to shake that thought away as her hands worked, Isabella was also absorbed into the work, they didn’t hear her cries. There was one specific wound that became very evident, to the point that Silvia nearly dropped her tools at the sight of it. The rip in her stomach was more than she had experience with herself, so steadying her hands she tried to recall what she learned while watching other surgeons behind the observatory’s glass panes and even as a nurse. That’s what she began to do, to clean the wound before truly stitching it together, that’s when she finally heard Ordan in the middle of explaining how to take away someone’s pain—most likely Eden’s.

If you are taking this pain, you better hurry your furry rear end over here now and take it like a man,” she huffed at Ezra, despite him being the taller and older werewolf—if Ezra hadn’t been focused on Ordan he might have been baffled. In the end, as Ordan snapped at him and told him what to do, Ezra was reminded of when Eden refused to let him near. That alone made her in more discomfort then he’d ever want her in, but as he watched her thrash around in pain, and he looked to how Ordan was able to be near, Elias tried to convince him her displeasure with him would be until she was healed. Though the wolf did not like the proximity the two had he would have to listen for now. His hands balled into fists, clenching and unclenching before he strode over towards the table. His eyes taking in the sight of Eden before he moved to place his hand where Ordan indicated would be best. Ezra would have to crush any thought of trying to dislike Ordan for the time.

If it helps Eden, I’ll take it all for as long as I can,” he informed gruffly, it didn’t take him long to have worried thoughts circulating through his mind again. It didn’t matter if he felt the mental and physical pain, he had hurt Eden in the past, he never made it up to her for what he had done for forgetting everything. He hardly even brushed his fingers across her skin before resting his fingertips on her momentarily. It felt odd, it felt like Ordan cared too much with the way he spoke about her, and if Ezra should fix the wrongs then he would. He was conflicted yet not conflicted—how conflicting. Closing his eyes, he tried to tap into this empathy in which the other male spoke about, he needed to do it because he refused to be useless, despite just worrying moments before. Ezra was a tad serious, striving to be a perfectionist and when he couldn’t it was difficult for him to understand how to correct himself, so as he stood there, mind teetering on the thoughts of Eden he tried repeatedly to absorb this pain. Her reluctance to give it up made him all the more determined to take it from her, almost like he had experience in knowing how to handle the briefest inclination of reluctance from her. Ezra didn’t know how he knew, but he did know that she shouldn’t feel all of that pain, he’d take all of it away if he could. He’d try. That’s why when he felt a seeding throb he understood that it wasn’t just him trying but Elias also pulling more than his fair share to ensure this worked. It wasn’t uncommon for weird abilities, he was told all kinds of tall tales but with this he just hoped she wouldn’t feel a thing.
