Well, at the end of the day Kuro's the one that was leading the three of them. So that means Kuro was all "Don't worry, I sketched the campus, the dorm is this way!" and then walked them straight to the boys dorm. And that also means Itami rushed off to the girl's dorm.

Well, at the end of the day Kuro's the one that was leading the three of them. So that means Kuro was all "Don't worry, I sketched the campus, the dorm is this way!" and then walked them straight to the boys dorm. And that also means Itami rushed off to the girl's dorm.

Hahaha I thought I made it obvious when I wrote the post that Kuro was wrong. The old map had the Girl's dorm to the west near the combat building and after we all walked away from it. She showed her map and POINTED EAST.

Unless Bandit was as oblivious as I and thought we had reached the girl's dorm. But if he wasn't and actually knew what was up... damn I'm bad at paying attention and really had the wrong scene playing in my mind.

I always try to integrate layouts, where people are standing, and facing as important. That's why I had Kaoru start walking backwards once she was told to lead, because she's the type to talk at people not just around to the air. She'd be facing whoever she's talking to.

I try to keep the level of specifity relevant to the situation at hand. In most situations just saying "Toki walked beside them" is enough, don't need to specify which side or anything like that. I find it very difficult to integrate super specific details like that without ruining the flow of my post.

You might want to know that Horikoshi (the mangaka for the primary manga) has actually seen and approved the spin-off as cannon and even implemented elements from the spin-off into his own manga. Hence, I consider it cannon because the manga has recognized it as so.

I actually missed it too. Itami ran off to whichever dorms the girls were the furthest from, so I guess they're both in the wrong place right now? I guess he'll realize his mistake when he sees a sign for the ladies' toilets. As for teaming up, I don't see why not, despite his interaction with Junsou he functions quite well in a team if he actually likes his partners.

I didn't notice it was her when I read her CS but Kuro's appearance is halfway the twin of a character I'm planning.
