It actually does considering his quirk is sugar consumption but whatever... Idea

They have sugar but sugar is far far from their main component. And it's defintely not what makes them "energy drinks". Yeah, you'd recover some sugar, but that definitely wouldn't be enough to cover basically anything. And I'm saying this not even taking into account how broken it would be if you could just restore your energy with a couple energy drinks, which not even people who are not burning their sugar like crazy can do.

If he can recover his energy via sugar he should just carry a bunch of those family restaurant sugar packs around with him. Tear off the top, pour it down his throat, and he can go like popeye.
