Anna was sitting as far away from the others as possible, trying to sort out her mixed emotions about going home. On the one hand she was elated, and she knew that her life could return to normal, or at least what normal was before this whole thing started. However, she had failed. Failed to protect Jethro, failed to stop everyone getting into the situation in the first place. For that she was ashamed, and she knew that her father would be as well. What was the point of being able to fight, if it meant you could protect those around you. She frowned slightly.

Sage looked up at through teleported art eyes that he quickly wiped in shock. " You don't get it , he has done many horrible things to me when I was younger. " he said

Marlyine looked around at the others, listening to their conversations. Everything that had happened was slowly dawning on her. People wanted them.

Nathan was silently staring out over the ocean (assuming we are presently over the ocean) and wondering what would happen next.

The helicopter made its way back towards solid ground. Although it took about an hour, they soon found themselves flying over solid ground. From there, it was only another half hour before their destination came into view. A building stood, solitary, on its roof, a large letter H marking where the helicopter pad lay. The helicopter hovered over it and slowly lowered to come to a landing on top of the roof. The rotors continued to rotating for a few more moments before the helicopter powered down. The two soldiers that sat in the back with the kids opened the sliding door and stood on both ends of it. Ready to help the kids out if they needed help. They would personally carry Jethro out when the time came.


One soldier looked at the kids and said,


"Your parents are waiting downstairs. You'll get a chance to see them before you are debriefed on everything that has happened. I know the last thing you want to do is relive it all again but we have no choice. We need the details while they are fresh in your minds."

"I understand sir, thank you for what you have done." Nathan jumped off the helicopter "Ah, it's good to be on land that isn't overrun with armed men out to kill us." He turned to the others "don't you all think?"

"So what we would do is imply that we've become close. The closer we are, the more angry they'll be. It's up to you." Gale offers his hand as he gets up.

Sage got off the helicopter and walked away without a word.

Anna didn't reply, and simply hopped off the helicopter, wondering whether she could escape having to see her dad just yet. She wanted to prepare for the disappointment she would be faced with.

As they walked downstairs, their parents came into view. Each one was standing there in a line, waiting for them. They looked worried.


Lilith grabbed Gale's hand and ran down to meet her father. She let go once she was very close to him and tackled the man. She smiled and laughed,"Hey dad!" He chuckled and picked himself up,"Glad to see you're alright." He glanced at Gale every now and then but focused mainly on her.

Anna felt very dizzy, so she took it slowly down the steps. She had barely reached the bottom when she had to sit down, the world around her swimming violently. She couldn't see her dad, but all she could think about at the moment was thar there wasn't supposed to be two of everyone. She closed her eyes to steady herself, sighing heavily.

Once he arrived downstairs he saw his father glaring causing him to look down only to be tackled by his twin younger brothers. He yelped as he was thrown to the ground. " Big brother we missed. " They yelled in unison as they clung to Sage's torso. Sage smiled and placed a hand on their heads when he felt tears on his shirt, they were crying. " Big brother don't leave us again. " The older twin , Jacob , said while looking up at Sage with teary eyes as the younger twin , Luca buried his face in Sage's chest. Sage felt his own tears coming again as he hugged his brothers tightly. " I'm so sorry , I won't I promise won't. " He said

She walked downstairs to see only her mother, she was glaring at Beatrix with her icy eyes. She aproached her mother, the two engaged in a not so heartfelt hug. The mother daughter duo both weren't too phased by the kidnapping, it was somewhat typical at the kingdom. "I knew this school was rubbish from the day your dad brought up the idea that you should go to highschool." Her mother muttered, Beatrix nodded, ready to resume castle life once again.

Nathan's father ran to him, hugging him and repetantly asking if he was ok. Nathan cooperated for a few minutes, then took a step back. "I'm fine, I'm fine dad!" he yelled, hugging his father again. "That was quite the adventure he said, leaning on the wall." His father was shocked.


"Well... you are certainly taking the situation quite well."


"It helps to not dwell on it, you know?"


"Of course, of course..."


The two then began to converse on the topic of what Ethan had missed.

Gale smiles down at Lilith, holding her hand.

Seeing what Gale was doing, Nathan, still leaning on the wall, gave him one of those grins that say "good job".

In response Nathan intensified his grin as if to say "hurry boy, it's waiting there for you!" (JK, but kudos to you if you get the reference, what the grin actually said was"You know what you're doing"
