Realistic or Modern Boarding School Hostage

Max gave Jethro a quick peck on the cheek and then climbed into the Helicopter. She sat down in one of the seats and looked back out at the rooftop. She was glad to be leaving all of this behind. She was going home to see her family. She would be able to sleep in her own bed tonight. She pulled her watch back out of her pocket and rolled it in her hand.

Jethro smiled as Max went by him, kissing his cheek as he did so. Everyone had gotten into the helicopter and now it was his turn.


BANG!


Jethro whipped about to see where the shot had come from. Ian was still lying on the ground but in his hand was a pistol. He must have pulled it from a holster that they all had not seen. Jethro quickly looked at the others. None of them had been hit.


Enough of this!


Jethro ran towards Ian, tossing his pistol to the ground as he did so. He was going to do this up close and personal. He drew a knife as he approached Ian. Ian tried to ready the pistol for another shot but was too late. Jethro kicked the gun away, sending it skirting across the roof top. Pouncing on Ian, Jethro drew the knife back and brought it down, aiming for Ian's heart. Ian caught Jethro's arms as he tried to defend himself. The two of them struggled, Jethro trying to pierce Ian's heart, while Ian tried to resist. However, the pistol wound had drawn too much of his strength and the knife slowly sank into his chest.


Ian shuddered but managed to say one last thing,


"Y..Y..you...were...too..too...s..slow." He managed to stutter before he fell silent.


Jethro got slowly to his feet. He decided to ignore the coward's words. They meant nothing to him and so he cared little to think of them.


Turning he started to walk back to the helicopter, then he stumbled.


That was weird, why did he feel so light headed?


He looked down at his chest, a red circle stood clear in the center of his chest. The circle was gradually growing bigger.


What is that?


Jethro had time to think, before he collapsed to the ground.

Nathan's, who had been watching, eyes grew, he turned to the crew of the helo. "We have a man wounded! Is there a medic on board!?!"

" Jethro!" Sage yelled before running over and crouching next to him. He felt his eyes welling up with tears before he growled and pulled out his gun and shoot Ian's dead body in the head several times , not caring if the man was already dead.

Sage looked at Lilith and smiled. " You did good ya know. " He said before he caught sight of Beatrix, he was tempted to whip out his gun and shoot the girl away. " Grr that bitch of a princess is here. " He muttered but Lilith , Nathan and Jethro could still hear him.

Beatrix whips her head around because she heard her title said none other than that pathetic excuse of a prince. "Hello." She says to Sage and Lilith, waving with a sly look on her face.

Jethro held Max for a second before releasing her. He looked up as the helicopter landed at the end of the rooftop. The door slid open and a soldier in the back leaned out the door, yelling he said,
"Come on all of you! Your parents are waiting!"


Jethro led the group to the helicopter and gestured to the doors.


"Get in guys, I'll provide rear security. I'll get in last." He said, waiting with his pistol drawn.

Beatrix follows a few of the others and gets in the car.

The helicopter lacked a medical team, however two soldiers jumped out and ran over to where Jethro lay. They began working on Jethro, trying to revive him. Jethro felt weak, weaker than he had ever been in his entire life. Slowly, he reached up to his neck and pulled off his dog tags. He looked towards the helicopter was positioned, even from here, he could see Max. He reached towards Max, the dog tags hanging from his hand. He continued to leave his arm outstretched towards her until he no longer had the strength to continue doing so. Slowly he let his hand drop, the dog tags making the sound of metal hitting stone as Jethro's hand fell. The "medics" worked for several minutes. They tried chest compressions, than CPR and finally they tried shocking him to get his heart going again.


Clear!


Nothing Changed


Clear!


Still No change


Clear!


Jethro's heart remained still.


Finally the soldiers with heavy hearts, called it.


"Time of death.....1:23pm." One of them said. Before slowly rising to their feet.

The person who had made it possible for them to still be here was dead, and all they could fight about was the monarchy? She jumped out of the helicopter and stride over to them, with a thunderous expression clear on her face. "Would you show some damn respect!" She shouted, steeping inbetween them. "At a moment like this all you can think to fight about is stupid stuff like the monarchy? Honestly, you three are ridiculous. Think about others for once would you!" She glared at each of them in turn.

Lilith was in shock. He was dead from one shot like that. She growled at Sage and Beatrix,"Would you two stop fighting and realize Jethro is dead!" She shouted at them in anger and punched them both in the arm,"He's the reason we are all out of that damn cage! Grow up!"

Beatrix shrugs, she had never personally had met Jethro, but took their words as the truth. She was unable to notice his death due to everything else happening. "It's not a joke Sage."

"I am only trying to get these two to quit arguing so we don't need to deal with it." His eyes grew bigger as he looked to the floor. "Also, it is sad that Jethro gave his life for us, yes, but.... I just realized... Ian wasn't the only guard, meaning... there are more down there... so why don't we get on and once we are safe we can grieve.

Anna glared at bim once more, before glancing at Jethro's body sadly and getting back into the helicopter, not bothering to wait for the others. If they wanted to die, let them. She sat near Max, wanting to check up on her. "Are you alright?" She asked sympathetically, hiding her anger at the other three.

Sage got into the helicopter before sitting away from everyone. The chief handed him a phone. " Your father wishes to speck with you. " The man said and Sage nodded before taking the phone and putting it on loud speaker in case his father yelled at him. " Hello Father. " He said. " How dare you cry , future kings don't cry over the expendable persons. " His father yelled over the phone , every one on the helicopter could hear him. Sage gasped. " Father how could..." he was cut off. "Be quiet you insufferable brat. " Sage bit his lip when the man yelled over the phone again.
