general​

• site rules apply here, too, obviously.
• overall, just don't start any unnecessary drama with other players.
• post at least twice a week. if you can't, all you have to do is warn the rest of us beforehand.
• socialize! when you make friends with your rp group, it makes things way more fun.
• i won't be too strict with post length, but please include something others can add onto.
• ^ one liners, however, are something you should avoid posting.
• three characters max at a time. they should not all be under one affiliation, either.

• god modding/power playing are prohibited, unless you are granted permission by the other party(ies) involved.
• metagaming is no fun–your character should not magically have information that is only supposed to be known OOC, unless it's information about another character that you got permission to find out about.
• no character is going to win every single fight they get into.
• ^ when it comes down to combat, just be realistic. some people have more advantages and disadvantages depending on who they come across.
• this rp has a plot that will likely change your character overtime in some way. characterization–it's a thing.
• don't stray too far from said plot. it wouldn't make sense to suddenly go on an adventure to narnia, right?

•Snow manipulation (hydrokinesis but any water they use turns into snow)

•Telekinesis but you have to kiss something before you can levitate it

Thanks! If anyone else wants to use one of these, go for it. Also, here are some more:

•Growing coral on your body
•Shooting teeth at people to temporarily turn them into clones of you
•Bearded vulture powers (Flight, keen eyesight, powerful beak, acid vomit even though bearded vultures don't actually vomit their stomach acid)
•Radio antenna that can be tuned to hear a certain person's thoughts
•Ribcage cage you can put people in to use their powers

I'm a bit curious how you plan to handle non-hero and villain affiliated characters, like the potential civilians in the interest check, but will not pry if that has to do with the plot.

Awesome, looking forward to seeing them!

The way I think of it is, there aren't really 'antagonists' or 'protagonists', since technically all parties are the main characters, so to speak. With what will go down, said parties will likely all be involved whether they like it or not–the so-called 'goods' perhaps trying to restore everything; the 'bads' trying to get their way in return; the 'civilians' who could be on either side, or maybe be neutral, trying to make the best out of the situation for themselves. Of course, those aren't all the possibilities, but the point is, no matter what 'side' a character is on, it's possible to craft them a story. anyways, some events that will happen can affect everyone, while others only affect a certain group, if that makes any sense? apologies if this is getting too long, aha.

Sorry for the wait everyone, i had a tough time of deciding on what kind of character to make hopefully it doesn't overlap too much with chuenchai.

I dont mind you talking about it at all pyocchon, it's rather interesting actually.

As for time zones i'm US eastern standard time.

Yeah, I got that idea too. I myself am supposedly EDT but my current sleep schedule begs to differ.

Also, Akudo, I can see where you're getting at, though I'm sure him and Chuenchai have a significant number of differences! So, you don't need to worry too much about that, haha.

There's not a specific goal, but I intend to wait until just a few more characters have been submitted (and accepted, which I'll start doing tomorrow) before we start! That being said, there won't be a player-cap for awhile either, so even after we start, people have the opportunity to join.

Well, that’s entirely dependent on what exactly you make your character. If they’re a student then it’s preferred if they’re 15~18, if they’re a teacher/pro-hero then they’d likely be an adult, etcetera. I wouldn’t say there’s an overall limit either, other than “don’t make them too young so that they can’t do anything for themself”.
