I love puzzles like that. The horseshoe puzzle I found in a magic shop for the first time and I surprized the shopkeep when I actually solved it in under 5 minutes. Got some free candy out of it, too

She never did say you were wielding katana. She said she watched a documentary about them. Just saying that she thought swords were cool and felt sad that japanese katanas were not well made.

OHHHHH, well the design is good however it was out of necessity of the poor quality steel as it couldn't bend properly to absorb the force of a strike like a European blade.

Did you know that the reason Katanas are sheathed blade side up to avoid dulling the blade while carrying it around?

Noice! I'm a martial artist, and I frankly just enjoy learning about weapons. I also make wooden props for cosplay(metal can't be carried at cons), and in the process I tend to learn a LOT about the proper way to carry/store weapons. You also learn that even the way a weapon is swung is different depending on the shape of a blade.

Let's see.. I started with Boxing and Kendo, but I ended up moving, so I trained Karate and Muy Thai kickboxing for awhile, then when those schools closed I switched to Judo, BJJ, and a little wrestling. Granted I haven't been formally training for the last year, but I still train on my own so I don't lose the skills.
