Fandom Blue Exorcist

Kimiko gently caught the dango, immediately stuffing it in her mouth. "Tanfs!"

Kohaku finished up his snack and trotted over to Kira, sitting in front of her and bowing his head a little. "Hello," he said quietly- it was one of the only words he could speak aloud. He bowed his head a little, thinking towards her, 'It's nice to meet you, Kira.'

The girl smiled, hearing his thoughts like a clear bell. She patted his head as she bowed politely back 'Un, nice to meet you too' Kira projected calmly. She adjusted herself and wandered towards the pedestal in the front room with an expo marker in her hand "Since the teacher isn't here we can do what we want...yes? " she asked as she doodled a cow with a crown on the whiteboard while covering her nose.

Kimiko laughed and followed. "Technically, yeah." 'So she really is a demon too...' Kimiko shook the thought from her head, picking up a marker and doodling as well. She drew a little crest, of a fox staring upward. It's body faded just past the neck.

Kira smiled at Kimiko's drawing "A Byakko? " She asked as her head started spinning from the overwhelming scent of markers and meat 'Damn....I can't make out the smell of the other demons now...' the Fox-Demon growled mentally as she drew worshippers around the cow, then a large fox eating it.

"Kinda. Mostly just a doodle." She rubbed her nose a little, doodling a string of beads around it's neck like a collar. She drew said beads as connecting to a string of beads, which circled an eye. She sighed, saying, "Why are my doodles always so weiiird?"

Kira flattened her ears a bit insulted at Kimiko's comment "Your drawings are not weird !" she hissed angrily. Kira looked down blushing a bit "...I think it resemble you much...I'm not sure why though..." she muttered in befuddlement. "I've seen other foxes use beads like that to help control their transformations, but that was way before your time..."

"Hmmm..." 'I wonder if this could be related to...' She rested her fingertips on the beads around her own neck, raising an eyebrow. 'He did say that it would help certain things so...' "That's interesting."

"Wait, so how old exactly are you?!" She turned to Kira with a finger pointing right at her face.

The Fox-Demon reddened brightly, waving her hands in front of her in innocence "Heh.....I'm actually very young for a Yokai!" she pleaded with a nervous grin "Ummm.....Maybe...just since the beginning of the Edo period? It's not that long ago." Kira turned towards the whiteboard and quickly doodled a fish with wings, hoping that she can eat it and it can make her fly away.

"TH-THE EDO PERIOD?!" CHRIST ALMIGHTY DEMONS ARE OLD. "Kohaku is only, like, twenty years old! He's not even considered an adult in Byakko years, honestly!" Kimiko's shouting drew the attention of said Byakko, which immediately ran over to her and knocked her to the ground. "GET OFFA ME!"

'Calm down, this girl's age isn't that impressive.'

"But this makes her the oldest demon I've ever met..."

Kira's ears quivered as Kimiko went into a berserk rampage of words "C-careful now...You might just exorcise with that!" she responded half-jokingly, quite entertained by her vicious flailing. "You've met another demon? I suppose I should not be surprised...they're in every foul place in Assiah nowadays..." she muttered in disgust. "If I am the oldest demon you've ever met...you must watch yourself as an exorcist...there are tens of thousands that are older, craftier, and more sadistic than I" the fox warned wearily.

Kimiko sighed as she sat up, pushing Kohaku onto her lap. "I know, that's why I'm becoming an exorcist. I know of many smaller, lesser plant demons. They used to hide in my backyard. Actually, they were rather friendly- I think that's why I have talent as a Tamer." 'Well, that and my heritage...' "I still have a lot to learn though. Same with lil' Kohaku here, he's pretty much a baby."

Kohaku growled at this, saying, "No. Not little."

"You are too little."

"No," he pouted.

Kira giggled at the little verbal quarrel "You teach him to speak as well? " she asked in curiosity "I say you're a very good tamer, you have seemed to befriended this Byakko very well. I'm a tamer as well! Or a bit, it's a little different for demons I think since we just negotiate..." she complimente, sticking her tongue out like a child at the thought of flora demons "Bleh...they're okay...but they don't taste very good...at least not as good as hobgoblins..." the fox rambled, thinking about food.

"Yeah, teaching him to speak is one of the things he's required me to do if I want him to listen to me. I can control him well in a fight but his spirit is very strong and wild, so it's difficult sometimes..." Kimiko raised an eyebrow. "You eat other demons?"

The girl flicked her ears back and forth, listening to you carefully "That's very smart of you, it may even help other exorcists in battle someday. " Kira praised, quite impressed "This may be the first time I've heard of such a thing, hopefully others will follow in your lead so our kinds can mingle with less conflict. " She peers at you, with a mischievous grin at the question "You eat other species from your plane of existence, no? It's very similar for demons, if it's weaker than us it's often fair game, but stronger than us is almost taboo. Like....imagine me trying to eat Mr.Mesphisto." Kira paused for a moment, seriously imagining the situation "....It's just wrong...demon blood is thick and sweet, you should try it sometime Kimiko! " she said with an encouraging smile, drooling at the thought.

Kimiko laughed nervously, saying, "Thanks but no thanks, I think I'll stick to human food." Kohaku just laughed, giving her a look.

'It's really just like she says~!' She glared at him.

'KOHAKU I AM NOT EATING OTHER DEMONS AND I AM NOT DRINKING THEIR BLOOD THAT IS JUST WRONG.'

'But you could~!'

'NNNNNO.' She made a face at this, sticking her tongue out.

Kira flicked her tail in agreement to Kohaku "See?? He agrees as well!!" she nodded proudly with her arms folded, the lingering scent of marker making her delirious as her sensitive nose continues to breathe it in" It's a good experience!! Kohaku must know since he doesn't have hands to attack! Think of it like...hunting cow or stalking pig...how do you think other demons that are trapped in Gehenna survive?? Very very tasty...and you get rid of the demon too!" she exclaimed excitedly, bright red eyes shining.

"There's just one other problem. I don't exactly know if it's safe for humans to eat. It could be poisonous to humans."

'But, Kimiko, wouldn't you be fine anywa-'

'-SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP.'

She kicks Kohaku, not very hard, but also not very gently either.

Kira flattened her ears in disappointment as her only supporter was knocked down "Aw...I forgot about the human part..." she whimpered solemnly kicking her deer leather boots against the linoleum "I've never seen a human try, so I was very excited...but the amount of energy in demon blood may have the slight side effect of death if the body can't break it down before it enters the veins..." The Fox-Demon added, her previous energy soon drained away in a melancholic downpour.

Oliver shuffled, watching the two girls and the familiar closely. After a few minutes of watching, she giggled softly and begun studying a little. Eh.. interesting Wolf Familiar. Definitely interesting, she thought to herself.

"It's alright. Maybe one day someone will be crazy enough to try it! Just, not me, and not today." She gave Kira a wide grin, showing off her teeth. Kimiko stood up, brushing off wolf fur and turning back to the board. She picked up the marker, staring at it...

Then she stuck the ink tip onto her tongue.

Kira perked up her ears in shock and disbelief, staring blankly at the absurd and unexpected turn "W-wHY?????" she stammered by the unnerving scene, awed and appalled by this girl's courage. "What is this blasphemy??" the fox asked, quite befuddled.

She immediately dropped the marker and started to cough, a look of disgust on her face. "BLUH! That tasted terrible!" She shook her head a little frowning at it. "I hope it still works..."

Kohaku simply yawned and went to go sit in his claimed chair again.

Kira narrowed her eyes suspiciously, fearing the worst for her one of her new friends "Was that...some type of ritual I do not know about??" she asked in a concerned, and serious tone. "...Is it addiction???" the demon flicked her tail back and forth placing her palms flat on Kimiko's desk, staring intensely at her for an answer.

"What? No way man! I just get these impulses sometimes. I once jumped off the fourth floor of my mom's old work building. Nearly died. Still have no idea why I did that. Doctors suspect some sort of new mental disease." She shrugged, sitting down in her desk and staring at her new friend.

Kira said her words slowly and precisely "4th. Story." she stated "Are you even human??" the fox questioned, with an odd look in her eyes. She didn't smell like Oli one bit, if she were a demon her scent would be already in her mind. She looked over at Oliver with a wide , mischievous grin "Can you smell this girl for me??" Kira asked the other student, trying to separate all the demons and humans in the class.
