Alright, only 1 more final to go! ^^ Going to be a lil busy this weekend but I'll be throwing up the basic shell of the thread if not saturday then sunday with the completed character sheet. Worst comes to worst setting wise I'll just post a basic little map of it.

As far as my character goes (main involved one) I think I'll be doing the shinigami route as a guide, just limited in her abilities due to the echo so she mostly will be a guide. I don't want to have a character to show up to the group outside some knowledge. Just got to edit the banner cause I kinda fell in love with the female shinigami I put on it and I feel weird using the same character on a banner without putting any other characters for the start. :P

As another note, I'm debating on the group size to allow into the roleplay. As nice as it would be to 'invite everyone in!' I'm planning on being more strict for the purpose of not having it too cluttered up. I'll probably have it set up should someone leave (hopefully none) to invite others who signed up but didn't get in first. I might as well allow others who didn't get in to create side characters just under more stipulations (aka they are likely disposible or very much support roles not always used) so even if someone doesn't get in if they want they can still have involvement in the game.

That said... I'm still not 100% on the group size. I'm figuring along the side of having 5 members (myself making 6) as being a good size for the game, maybe a bit smaller or perhaps a little more. Figuring I'd leave it up to you all to give some feedback on what you think would be a good size. From my other roleplay I know going crazy with numbers tends to not work very well. Still I do like to hear input. I'm planning on being more strict either way (as much as I hate being a jerk) though I'll still be giving people input to let them fix up their sheets or touch it up at least once before ultimately deciding.

New and improved banner! What was changed, who knows! I totally didn't coop a character from the old banner as my own or anything. *shifty eyes*

I can help you manage people. If you want. My Fairy Tail RP has over 20 people and counting

My biggest issue is things getting very cluttered and hard to keep up having so many people, particularly with a normal roleplay format like this. I wanted the core focus being on the main group which is part of the reason I want to keep a generally limited number of people involved. I'm not 100% going to but I do want to try and keep things somewhat focused.

Well. There could always be a bigger main group? Or more or less indirectly force people to join the main group.

Hmm not sure. I'll think about it. Might just make the character sheet just beefy enough and recruitment strict to counter it too possibly... dunno I'll see. ^^;;

Alrighty! Done with my finals hurray! :P Going to do some RP catch up then I might be posting up the thread tonight since I'm going to some graduation parties tomorrow and I figure it would be good to do that then. It should have enough info to give a general idea of things. If I dont get enough done such as setting details I could always answer questions then for people to craft their sheet.

I'm figuring the group all go to what is the 'old' side of town, so plenty of variety with people living outside of town if you want that rural background or just being within the town itself. It really gives that north east feel being one of the suckers who lives in that region. :P Still the RP will take place in the city as a whole so plenty of room for hijinks and variety in setting all around! ^^ If you do have an idea you aren't certain about feel free to pitch it here or through PM if you want to ask first before making a character.

Is there still room for me to make a character BTW? Like, is the cast not filled up yet? Also, I would like our characters to be in the same college. I'm fucking tired of High School roleplays. I GRADUATED FROM THAT INSTITUTION A YEAR AGO, WHY WOULD I WANT TO RELIVE THOSE DAYS? Besides, HS-style roleplays are a dime a dozen on this site, and a university would make it more unique than most other roleplays of that type. Plus, it would allow some of us to be dorming there, enabling characters from out-of-state or even other countries! What do you think?

You can still apply, I haven't taken any character sheets yet or looked at all outside of making some random comments.

OK, but what do you think of the college idea?

...Did you not read the post that you quoted that's only inches above your own?

In any case, all the characters would be humans just getting used to their powers, right? Well, I didn't read the whole thread, but you mentioned a high school setting in the OP. I'm wondering if we could make it a college instead. There are a million and one high-school roleplays on this site, and "Ordinary High School Student" is such an overdone and tired cliche by this point, in both anime and fanfiction alike, that I want something new. Now putting us in college isn't that much different, but it does have the notable advantage of having a residence hall on campus, allowing us to apply with characters from pretty much anywhere in the world. What do you think?

Oh, derp I just got out of my finals my brain is kind of mush.
Yeah setting wise its high school leaning at the upper ranges (Junior/Senior). College would be very much the same trope as well, just with the added hurdle of the fact unlike high school not everyone goes to it. To me having them younger contributes to them growing given I do want this roleplay to progress through a larger period creeping into their early to mid twenties. Just honestly to me sure they are a little different, they just function very much the same just well with an extra hurdle that not everyone goes to college. To me the 16-18 bracket is the ideal range where you see a lot of growth ideologically starting with it continueing on at a different level beyond that. ^^;;

Ageing Arisu by two years it is then d:
Aye, it would be good heh. I didn't want to start them too old though I wasn't wanting them to be completely little kiddies. ^^;;

Seems legit. She can just look young for her age. I refuse to find another faceclaim, xD

I am really interested in creating our on world basing it somewhat off of bleach. I hope there is still a spot through.
