Horus sighed, he couldn't find anyone. He glanced around around again before he started walking around, exploring the grounds and entering the building, looking for the head master. He knew how schools worked, this academy was no exception.

Acren was finally here. Black Rose Academy. He gazed upon the pristine walls and the thick steel gate that separated him from the rest of the populace. He had been given little choice but to attend considering his legal probationary status at the moment. Either that or answer for his "supposed" crime. Destruction of private property, disturbing the peace, injuries to multiple persons. It didn't seem to matter that "they" had started the altercation and caused it to blow up into a massive brawl. It wasn't his fault that they had bit off more than they could chew when they attacked him. It didn't even seem to matter that Acren's friend had been killed. In a moment when he had been swarmed and he and his friend had been separated, he had been grievously injured and Acren had been unaware of it in passing.


In a way, even though he'd walked away without a scratch himself...he'd lost the battle. Had it been worth it? To prove his strength, had it been worth it? Anything that tied him to the past was now gone with the last breath of his friend. The past...did it even matter anymore? He'd proved he was strong, but the cost....he should have just kept his mouth shut and walked away. Hindsight was 20/20 however, and it was pointless to think of "what if's" and so on. Time to be on with it then Acren mumbled to himself. He lifted his large claymore blade over his shoulder and stepped into the campus. It didn't take long before he grew lost. It seemed the place was a ghost town at the moment, and the fact that the hot sun happened to be glaring upon him didn't help matters. He never had liked the sun. Cool breezy nights under moonlight. They suited him best. Oh well though.


The first person he spotted was a rather tall individual, black hair, rather lean instead of built, but not particularly scrawny either. Maybe he knew where he was supposed to go.


"You wouldn't happen to know where I'm supposed to head out to would ya? Newbie here" Acren said.

Horus shrugged, Guess he's not here for the same reason as me. Horus allowed himself a chuckle when he mentioned a brochure, "I guess that would be too easy." He looked around, "Headmaster's office will probably be the best bet. No idea where that is, however."

"Look at us. The twins, clueless and helpless. Which one are you? I'm feelin a bit partial to the helpless one myself if you wouldn't mind. Should make t-shirts out of it or something. Might even get popular. School folks are supposed to be all trendy or concerned with being fashionable or something. We'll split the profit 60/40?" Acren said joking and then sighed afterwards.


"Don't even have a student handbook. Should include an entire chapter on finding ANYTHING. You know they could probably host that show Survivor here. Already seems like a wilderness. I'd vote myself off of course. Anyways I'm rambling, shall we look around?" asked Acren.

Horus' nodded slowly, chuckling slightly, "If you're just going to ramble on and on I'm afraid we may have to go our own separate ways. And anyway, I want at least 51%."


When he asked whether they should look around, he nodded, "Lead the way, Acren."

You seem like the type to add a little extra "iron" in the gut for my imaginary diet. "Other heart? Oh yeah I have three of them. I have a few spares as well. Never can be too careful when people start waving pointy objects around" Acren said gesturing towards his claymore sword.


"Someone always gets hurt. Oh well. No life without death or so I heard. Oh and nah, I'm messing around. I have only one heart. The spare hearts bit though...I'll leave you to think about that. Just imagine me being a nutjob and taking folks hearts for replacement parts of my own. Seems almost machine-like don't it? AM I really that crazy? Who knows. People spend their whole lives discovering themselves and I've had only 17 years. I could be the next Hitler or Vlad the Impaler or something. Or I could be the next coming of the Messiah if you believe in that sort of thing. What do you think?" Acren said, enjoying the random swings in conversation...since just saying hey and how are you just don't cut it anymore ya know?

Lavedndr decided after her rest to come out and enjoy the outside a bit ,she needed to stretch her legs out .she was getting a bit cramped .she walked out seeing the others laughing and playing around .she decided to plata a trick on jack ,turning invisible to scare him a bit

He looked at him, "I believe you are some kind of evil person who wants to take over the world," Horus answered sarcastically.

Akira made her way out into the yard and took a seat next to the fountain listening to music. She lay back looking up at the clouds.

"Aww thats a shame. Damn, guess I gotta go find another best bud now. Talking and making connections with folks is such a pain nowadays" Acren said in a exaggerated groan and then he noticed a girl nearby a fountain with headphones in and zoning.


"Maybe she knows where we go?" Acren mentioned to Horus.


"Hey there umm....person? Wouldn't happen to know where newbie's head off to get situated here would ya?" asked Acren.
