Esdeath bit her lip. She had noticed the way her room mate was looking at Jeff too. And Earth believed in pairing Jack and Lavender... Well, this love triangle seemed like something out of a novel.


"Well, only time will tell what to make of this pairing." She said, believing it. Only time would tell.

Fire looked at Earth on disbelieve. "He agreed..." He muttered. "He agreed!"


Storm sighed and went over to Esdeath. "Allow me to explain what this means. Earth is the eldest element and he makes sure everything is correct. For him to accept Lavender and Jack, is something of miracle and beauty." He turned to Liz who had been smiling this whole time.


Liz nodded. "I know Storm. I'm the only person except Jack that knew. Usually, Earth would wipe your memories of this but eh." She shrugged it off. "Anyway, what shall we do now? The timer of the elements is about to run out." She asked Esdeath.

"Well, it will be good to have Jack back - as one person. But I'm not sure what we will do..."

Skee sprinted up into the academy and bolted through the doors wanting to get out of the light. It was awful out there, very few shadows to run around and lurk in. Now that he was indoors he relaxed a little and decided to explore. With silent footsteps he looked around for someone or something he could communicate with. I must learn about this place if I'm to fit in...

Esdeath noticed a boy walking around silently. She shot him a small smile, to show that she was welcoming him.

Esdeath eyes widened. "It's lovely that you're going to remember my name, but if you would stop sinking into my... Shadow? It would be even better!" Her clutch on his hand unexpectedly tightened, as if she could stop him from sinking by doing that.

Jack reformed. "Ugh..." He was exhausted from the transformation. "Where's Lavender?" He looked around the school for her. Liz sighed and went herbpwn way, deciding to go explore.

(( It isn't just you. and what @Baconhands was referring to I believe, was that his character was supposed to be welcomed in the story by @WoodenZebra , but he was ignored. His character still needs help around the school. ))
