Family line it is. Also, just another thing, Rogue Traders are most certainly the kind of people who have access to life extension drugs.
it was an example but for an immortal all lives are short a fued of thousands of years is but a short lived argument

Chances are Castitas knows how to prepare and administer anagathics.

well then time to make a technomancer unless you feel another discipline would be more helpful
Sounds good. Not sure if I would have let you touch The Golden Goose overmuch but I doubt that my guy would be opposed to a few very secret and not too obvious internal improvements. However, as I am the GM, and as this is a Great Crusade Era Vessel it's already got quite the fancy gadgets and it won't be that obvious to people unfamiliar with Necron Technology which parts are Alien and which are Archeotech.

All the green glowy bits that phase in and out of reality at will might be a bit sus.

Probably, but it's still depending on people who know what Archeotech is. To pretty much all of humanity, technology is a mystical and barely understood thing that might as well be Magic and Archeotech to a regular techpriest is basically the same as a regular piece of tech would be to a feral worlder.

Techpriest: ”Hmm, the ten-yearly inspection of your ship is almost complete. There are a few minor issues, but nothing that you can’t repair. There is one thing I need to speak to you about. The Laertes-class Warp Core of this ship appears to be powered by a soul fragment of a long-dead Xenos god. Is that an after sales addition of yours.”
Cornelius: *reaches into coat* “I’m sorry, Lord Magos, but did you drop this?”
Techpriest: “Is that- Is that an electric toaster? Never mind the Warp Core, nothing to see there.”

Captain Hesperus

she likely would be more likely to replace broken things with necrodermis look a likes function about the same but able to repair slowly and keep all the glowy stuff in some secret hideaway area in the ship

she has had time to figure out how to make things look right so the lesser races ask few questions like wearing a red robe if she ever goes out lol

Voidmancer please.

hmm what should her title be?
Oh, interesting, I've never heard of many Female Necrons before. I mean, it makes sense that there would be a few Female Necrons who retained their personality and whatnot but until fairly recently Necrons didn't have any personalities whatsoever and Warhammer is kind of a hobby that tends to appeal more towards men. As for Title? I'm not sure what it would be or if you would even have an official title.

oh there are plenty they are scattered about in lore as crypteks lychguard overlords and even a pharon those that kept their minds do keep their gender and can augment their body to fit their imagine of themselves.

technically her career is voidmancer cryptek so title i assume would be a role on the ship she could be a good alternative for those silly navigators

Actually she would possibly be the absolute worst replacement for a Navigator, being completely unable to see the tides of the warp. Maybe if you were the Interdimensional Master we could get away with replacing them, but I actually like Warp Travel and Navigators because of the !!FUN!! they cause. As for their role on the ship, it's mostly to do fiddly bits with technology and maybe if you want you could be the Pilot. (Pilot is different from Navigator because Navigators guide the ship through the warp and Pilots actually fly the ship in realspace)

well she would need a role to fill on the ship figure somone who understands the movments and forces of the universe would be able to use that extreme mapping to generate some mathematical hyper model as to when to enter and exit the warp over the guy playing i guess here is where we should be ... maybe

I think that Pilot works great because you know all of the dangers of Space Travel, you are like a master Physics person. So, the title would be Helmsman or Helmswoman, or Pilot.

many ships are piloted by servitors if they can be given the commands from techpriest they can be made to easily pilot ships in all but extreme circumstances

Yeah, but not all ships. And especially in an area of such gravitic dangers as the Galactic Core. Also in that case the Servitor wouldn't be the Pilot so much as the Tech Priest programming/ordering it. That would be more like entering the coordinates into an Auto-Pilot.

If you still don't like being the Helmsman that's ok though, we can keep trying to think of stuff.
