Abandoned by his mother, Matt Murdock was raised by his father, boxer "Battling Jack" Murdock, in Hell's Kitchen. Realizing that rules were needed to prevent people from behaving badly, young Matt decided to study law; however, when he saved a man from an oncoming truck, it spilled a radioactive cargo that rendered Matt blind while enhancing his remaining senses. Under the harsh tutelage of blind martial arts master Stick, Matt mastered his heightened senses and became a formidable fighter.
One of Ozpin's trusted followers and his secretary during his time as the Headmaster of Beacon. She is known for her stern, systematic and no-nonsense personality. Her semblance is known to be that of telekinesis. After the Fall, she takes Ozpin's place as Headmaster of Beacon. Unless, of course, he somehow returns to the Academy.
Reed Richards, also known as Mr. Fantastic, is the leader of the Fantastic Four. He can stretch his body to great distances due to his exposure to cosmic rays while in space. He is also considered to be one of the smartest men alive.
SUE RICHARDS/THE INVISIBLE WOMANSusan Richards is a founding member of the Fantastic Four. She is able to create invisible force fields of any shape she conceives and able to turn herself and anything she's in contact with invisible. Sue is the wife of Reed Richards and the mother of their children, Franklin and Valeria.
JOHNNY STORM/THE HUMAN TORCHThe second most powerful member of the Fantastic Four and the brother of Sue Richards. Due to an accident caused by cosmic radiation in space, he can manipulate fire, turn his entire body into it and fly. While Johnny is known for his impetuous and sometimes reckless nature, he is also a loyal friend and fearless hero. Due to his loving attention and getting tons of fans, once he found out about the hero system, Johnny quickly became No. 2 due to his charm, power and wit.
BEN GRIMM/THE THINGBen Grimm, better known as the Thing, is the original quintessential tough-guy of the Marvel Universe. But, because of his transformation, he's also the tragic member of the Fantastic Four. Ben was an ace test-pilot until exposure to intense cosmic radiation mutated him into a rock-skinned monster with immense superhuman strength. Ben's exterior is much harder than stone which gives him a rather gruff disposition; but deep down, he has a heart of gold.
Histoire (イストワール) is a mysterious, powerful being that contacts Neptune through her head throughout the first game for both advice and help. Histore is often said to be one of the Gods of Gamsgard, possessing all of the world's knowledge and having the ability to reshape reality. Though she does have limitations herself, such as not being able to do much other than look up information unless given permission by others and always taking a measurement of three's to find it. This is a security measure put into place by the goddess who created her in order to ensure she and future goddesses could not go rogue and simply alter things as they saw it fit.
THORThor is the Asgardian God of Thunder, and the son of the All-Father of Asgard Odin and the Elder Earth-Goddess Gaea. Combining the powers of Asgard and Midgard (Earth), Thor is arguably the greatest defender of both worlds. Armed with his enchanted Uru hammer Mjolnir, which can only be lifted by those who are worthy, Thor is the mightiest warrior in all of Asgard. A staunch ally for good and one of the strongest beings on Earth, Thor is also a founding member of the Avengers.
Queen Moon Butterfly is the ruler of the Kingdom of Mewni, alongside her husband King Butterfly, and the mother of Star Butterfly. She was the previous wielder of the royal magic wand before passing it down to her daughter on her fourteenth birthday.
King River Butterfly (né Johansen is the ruler of the Butterfly Kingdom alongside his wife, Queen Butterfly, and Star Butterfly's father. Born into the Johansen clan of barbarians, River was crowned King of Mewni through marriage to Queen Moon Butterfly.
The Latlasian Monarch known to many as Doctor Doom was born a brilliant person named Victor von Doom. In a deal with the devil, his mother sacrificed her soul in return for her son to be a ruler. He spent much of his life studying both dark magic and science, only to have his plans continually foiled by meddling superheroes. As monarch of Latlas, Doom's rule is dealt with a heavy hand. Between his time platform (the first known time machine on Earth) and his doombots (robotic replicas of himself with artificial intelligence), Doom is a brilliant inventor and scientist. While at the same time, he is one of the most powerful sorcerers in existence, making him easily amongst the most dangerous villains on Earth.
Tougher than the toughies, smarter than the smarties, Scrooge made his money fair and square. Part mysterious billionaire, part adventurer, his wealth combined with his overwhelming confidence has bred an unpredictable nature and a belief that anything can happen & everything is possible if you're willing to work for it. His love of money isn't because he's greedy, it's because he knows how he earned each dollar; each coin is a memento of a past adventure.
Flintheart Glomgold is Scrooge McDuck's arch-nemesis and business rival, primarily because of their long-lasting feud concerning which of the them deserves the title of "World's Richest Duck". Glomgold is jealous of Scrooge's wealth and desperately wants to obtain the title, but is usually referred to as "World's Second Richest Duck".
After his family was killed by the mob, U.S. Marine Special Forces veteran Frank Castle vowed to avenge their deaths and became a one-man army in his personal war against the criminal underworld. With a distinct death's head skull adorning his chest, Frank Castle became the vigilante known as the Punisher. He wasn't seen since the Kingpin turned himself in. Some say he skipped town, others say he went into hiding but the only man who knows for sure is Frank, himself.
Johnny Blaze, a motorcycle stuntman, became bound to the Spirit of Vengeance known as Zarathos after making a deal with Mephisto to spare the life of his surrogate father. With the power to control hellfire and to inflict pain on those he deems evil with his Penance Stare, Johnny seeks vengeance as Ghost Rider.
