"I just don't understand why they're walking...eating flesh and blood." She sniffled quietly and rubbed a tear off her cheek, but more just streamed down.


She looked at Zack and felt like hugging him, but decided against it, he might think she's crazy weird.

Zack, hesitantly, held her close to his body. It was kind of an awkward hug, but he liked it.


"Nobody knows..." He smiled, "But we will get through this. Someone will one day invent a cure..."


Zach turned around, still hugging her, closely, at the group. They were staring at them.

Erin closed her eyes and loosely put her arms around his waist. He had a lot more height to her, so she looked awkward and tiny compared to him.


Erin felt Zack go still and looked at the group, they were staring. Erin shyly, reluctantly, pulled away and sat on the ledge of the roof with her back to the group. But smiling a little to herself

Zack blushed and tapped Erin on the shoulder.


"We're going to run out of food, Let's go to the shop next door. I mean, If you want to..."


Zack smiled and muttered, "I'll keep you safe..."

She blushed a lot and nodded "okay." She stood and walked over to the group "we're just going on a food run." She smiled a little.


She walked to the ledge and saw it wasn't too far of a jump and hopped across. This was the opposite building that Sasha was on, she didn't wanna come across him again. "Come on." She smiled at Zack.


She went over to a door and opened it, there were no shuffling sounds or moans inside so she took her flashlight and turned it on, slowly entering the building with her knife in her other hand.

Zack held a hand in front of Erin's stomach. "Wait..."


Zack went in and checked the surroundings. It was a movie store, so there was lots of junk food.


He listened intently 'Nope...Nothing...' He thought.


"Come on, I think it's safe..." Zack motioned for Erin to come in.

Erin smiled a little and went inside with Zack.


They made their way downstairs and Erin looked around. The place was trashed, but not looted. So all the junk food was still there. She quickly walked over to chip stand and put a few bags in an old grocery bag, along with some pop and water bottles. She looked over at Zack and smiled

Zach walked over to where she was. He had been thinking of what he was going to do for a while now.


"Hey, Um, Erin?" Zach said, touching her back. "I know we've just met...but I feel like I've known you forever..."


He blushed, looking deeply in her eyes. "And in the pact few hours, I've gathered...Uh...f-feelings for you..."


He looked away.

Erin blushed deep red and looked up at Zach, "Am I that pretty with greasy hair and dirty skin?" She joked lightly and shyly took his hand, "I think I have for you too.." she blushed

"You're always beautiful to me..." Zack leaned in for a kiss, not sure Erin was ready for it yet.


Zach squeezed her hand, telling her that he was liking it.

Erin noticed Zach wanted to kiss and shyly looked at him, but leaned in as well. But stopped when a crash came from the front window, "walkers must have heard us, come on" she pulled him back to where the door was and went back onto the roof, closing it behind Zach, the walkers banged on the door.

Zach tensed, "Yeah...Let's get out of here!" He half-whispered.


Zach followed Erin out of the back door, but pulled her back.


"It's not safe to go back to the group, let's just go up here," He pointed to the ladder that will take them to the roof.


Zach helped her up, holding her waist.

She climbed up and waited at the top for Zach "hurry" she whispered. To him and frowned a little

Zack climbed up the ladder, and noticed that Erin was frowning.


He is now concerned that Erin is mad at him.


"Sorry...About back there...I didn't mean to go to fast..." Zach said, walking away from her to the ledge.

"No no its alright" she gently took his hand and stepped closer to him, "I was just a bit sad that we...Uhm...got interrupted" she said shyly

Zack smirked, no longer shy, "Well...There's no reason why we should stop..."


He touched her back, seductively.

Erin looked up at him and gently set her hands on his shoulders, "okay" she smiled a bit

((You didn't miss much, just Erin and Zach went to find food and now are about to make out xD ))

Zach pulled her into a hardcore kiss. "We should probably---" He said in between kisses, "Go back---"

Erin giggled a little in the kiss and shrugged "probably" she mumbled and wrapped her arms around his neck.


After a little while she pulled away and smiled. "Come on." She slid her hand down his arm and grabbed his hand

Zack followed Erin outside and they both climbed the ladder to the roof where the rest of the group was.


He was blushing extremely by now.


"So, Um, Guys...What is our next move?"

She was blushing too and looked at the group. "We should get moving again... we can't live on a roof forever..."

"Then, were would we go? The street is full with walkers and the roof is the only place that keeps us away from them"
