Realistic or Modern Better Off Dead

"Youre just jealous that a few teenagers, who arent old as dirt unlike you, have survived this long. And it wouldn't be a school field trip anyway because im graduated with a bachelor's degree and a chain of Bates Bed and Breakfasts throughout America. Thank you very much." She narrowed her eyes at Sasha and crossed her arms. "And I'm a country girl. I could put a bullet between your eyes in a second. But I won't cause im a good person. But this world can't be trusted anymore and you cant be too careful. Now dont say anything mean about my friends."

Sasha looked at the other woman who approached. "I'm impressed," he said, holding out his hands in a manner that was clearly condescending. "And I'm sure you've shot plenty of times, devotchka, but shooting a live person is much different than shooting one that is dead. I know, because I've done it."

Sasha stepped to the side of them, glancing casually around at the group once more. His eyes met Brian's, although the man stood far taller than the boy. "It looks to me like you could use help, maybe a little experience. I could use help as well; my supplies are low and, seeing as I am so old and decrepit," He looked back at Erin with an amused grin, "Maybe we could work together."

Brian looked at the man and then looked at Erin. He didn't like what the girl said.

"I would like to help you but my sister is in charge of the supplies and leaves them locked so no one can take them"

Brian looked at Erin and crossed his arms

"Killing people is not nice and telling people you will kill them is not nice either "

Sasha looked at the boy, trying to judge his age. He put him somewhere between 9 and 11. Too old to be so terribly naive, so at least Sasha thought so. Then again, Sasha hadn't had the best upbringing as a child. He gave a half hearted chuckle.

"Who said anything about nice, Chuvák? People do what they must. Before everything went choknútyy, I was a soldier. I learned that killing can be necessary in times of hardship."

Brian stared at the man with wide eyes. He didn't like the guy anymore, he was very scary.

"If you are a bad person then something bad would happen to you. My mom told me that, and I don't know what chuvak or choknutty means."

"I just need to protect y'all. " she frowned and looked down, feeling bad for what she said now. She looked at the walkers below and backed up "Sorry." She said to Sasha.

Erin's watch started beeping and she sighed digging through her backpack and walking away from the group. She took out a blood tester and pricked her finger ten dabbed the paper with the blood. Her blood sugar was low so she took out a can of pop and started sipping it.

(Realized Brian wasn't talking to Sasha a bit too late. Went back and changed it a little. =P)

"Ah, and where is your mother now?" Sasha said, a hint of bitter in his voice. Maybe that had been a bit too harsh. He could look around and clearly see that the boy's parents weren't among the group, and his imagination could only fill in the blanks. But Sasha wasn't one to apologize. He watched as the other girl walked away to sit down, then strode up to her to peek over her shoulder. The man eyed the device in her hands.

"What is that?" He asked.

Erin jumped a little and looked at Sasha. "Don't tell anyone about. Its a blood sugar tester. Im diabetic...." she frowned and put it away then quickly walked away with her head down with her soda still in her hands.

Brian looked at Sasha with a angry face as he approached her sister. He didn't like when people asked about his parents after what happened to them.

"Hey Lizzy, I already introduced myself to the rest. They seem nice but Sasha is scary"

"Don't worry nothing is going to happen"

"What can I do now? I wanna help the group"

"Do you want to be a guard?"

"Sure! What do I do?"

"Tell me if you see anything"

"Ok"

Elizabeth smiled at Brian as he ran off to look at the walkers

Zack had been quiet through-out the whole discussion. He decided that he was only going to jump in if things got 'serious'. After the conversation had calmed down a notch, Zack went up to the man, Sasha, and offered a hand. "Hey, I'm Zack, Nice to meet you Sasha..." He took out his gun, and loaded it. He did do just in case some of the walkers invented an idea to climb.

Sasha turned as a young man, probably in his late teens, approached him. He accepted the boy's handshake, but only briefly. "Likewise," The man said dully. He turned to stalk around the roof some more, watching over the edges as the walkers below. As the sun went down, the creatures got more restless. Sasha paced circles around the roof, not planning on sleeping any time tonight.

Zack decided to sit next to Erin. "Uh, Hey again, Are you okay?" He asked, as she looked a little sad.

I wouldn't expect her to be happy...I mean, I'll try to make her at least smiling...He thought.

Kal spotted a group of people, Survivors. Everyone Kal knew was dead, nothing left. In his backpack were only water, a medkit and some ammo for his rifle. He was tired, unharmed but tired. "H-Hello over there!" he yelled at the group waving his hand, limping.

Zack quickly turned around, in the direction. He saw the guy. He didn't look infected, so he waved him up to our base, well, temporary Zack hopes. "Hey, Are you bit?" Zack asked after he had climbed up. He touched his axe but didn't take it out fully.

Kal shook his head, "I'm not." he replied, his accent had a tone of British descent. "The name's Kallius, call me Kal." He extended a hand, he knew that they'd be skeptic of him, but in an outbreak like this who wouldn't be?

Zack accepted the handshake. "Um, I guess, Welcome to the group!" He smiled. "I'm Zachary, by the way but you can just call me Zack!" He smiled.

Kal was glad his hand was shook, comfort in these times are extremely needed. "Appreciate it." he said as he walked towards the remaining people. "I can be your gatherer, turns out i'm extremely good with a rifle." he commented to lighten up the mood

Zack smiled, comforting Kal. "That would be good, Kal. You can leave your stuff there, Or you can just carry it..." Zack said pointing in the corner, but then realized that he does not know how much he trusts us.

Erin smiled a little at Zack and shrugged "I guess."

She heard the voice and looked in the direction, but she wasmt too worried. If he was bit then someone would shoot him.

As he climbed up Erin stayed in her spot with her arms crossed and looking at the ground staying quiet.

Auriel sat in the corner and glanced around at everyone. She noticed a boy walk up to her brother. She had not seen him before. She held on to her gun but did not take it out. She looked over at her brother and rolled her eyes. "Why is he so gullible?" She thought to herself. She sighed and let go of her gun. If he had really gotten bitten, he would've turned by now. She looked up at the sky and ran her fingers through her soft, long, brown hair.

Zack looked around at all of the disapproving looks. 'Well...This isn't good...' He thought.

He went over to the new boy and told him, "Hey, Um, Just as precautions, Can I just check for any bites?"

Without waiting for an answer, he searched him. He felt a bulge in Kal's pocket and took out a gun from in there.

"And, We need to keep that for now..."

After Zack was satisfied that there was no bites, he said, "Okay, You're good..." He half-smiled at him.

@Kiclack

Erin looked up at Zack. She really needed someone at the moment. But she knows he probably doesn't like her, she stood up and looked down at the ground where a few moaning walkers shuffle on the ground. 'They should be dead' she thought to herself, tears stung her eyes. She has her new friends but she feels alone...

@Flipperdoo2003

Zack looked around at his group, his eyes lingering at Erin for a few seconds longer.

'She's gorgeous...' He thought.

Zack walked up to her, and looked deeply in her eyes.

He was surprised that it looked like she was about to cry.

"Hey, Are you okay?" He asked, looking away, "But I guess no one is in these times..."
