Realistic or Modern Belmont high (high school roleplay)

Liam smiled at her comment "well..something like that" he chuckled when he got to the already open door he placed his hand on it holding it open "please ladies first I insist" he said smiling at her to make sure she knew he was great full for the gesture

after they went in Liam offered his elbow (you know the gentlemens way of holding hands) he approached the podium where the hostess stood "table for two please" he said with a smile

The hostes led them to a table Liam pulled out a chair for  destiny  before sitting in the chair across from "so… What kind of pizza do you like because I'm not very picky "he said picking up the menu listing the pizzas they had

" I like regular pepperoni pizza. Sometimes combination to."she replied to his question. She realized that she still had a smile on her face for some reason. "What are you thinking about eating?"she asked him @Cal Rader

(Woops sorry thought I posted )

"well...pepperoni sounds great actually" he said closing the menu "I am honestly pretty plain usually I find simple to sometimes be the best" he smiles "so why did you get to school so late if you don't mind me asking" he says looking quizzically at her

Destiny looked at him and smiled again. "My parents have been making me change schools a lot. Supposedly, this is my last time. But i doubt that." she replied.

Aspen had always been good at staying under the radar, so the first day of her senior year wasn't so bad. No free periods, though. Yeah sure she was kind of a nerd, but it wasn't like she went around telling people that...

Her black and white checkered backpack was slung over her right shoulder as she walked home, and strands of her long brown hair shimmered gold in the sunlight. She couldn't wait for autumn. Aspen had been walking for a good half hour, lost in thought, when she heard the sound of shattering glass come from somewhere above her. She started, not knowing what it was, and looked across the street to see, on a roof, a young man who looked about her age staring with hate-filled eyes at a red splattered canvas. Her curiosity spiked when she didn't recognize his face, and she stared for a moment as she wondered who he was.

Kyle took a deep drag from his cigarette to help calm him down. He turned away from the ruined canvas and took a seat on edge of the roof. His legs dangled over the edge freely and he looked out towards the view below him. He often watched the bustling of people when feeling stuck and frustrated. It gave him a sense of distance from himself as he became part of the scenery, watching the world pass by around him and he'd often draw inspiration from what he saw and transfer it onto his canvas when he wasn't inspired in his more abstract work.

That's when he saw her. A young gurl who couldn't have been much younger than him stood across the street. He was caught off-guard to find her looking back at him. A flash of worry came over him. How long had she been looking at him? Did she see his sudden outburst? His frustrations and anger were always something very personal to him that he tended to keep hidden from the rest of the world. The idea that someone had seen such an intimate expression of his sheltered side made him feel extremely vulnerable.

His cheeks became uncomfortably hot at the idea.

Even from the distance, Aspen could tell that he was uncomfortable. She frowned slightly and looked away, wringing her hands. Should she talk to him? He didn't seem particularly friendly, but then again she hadn't given him a chance. "Hello?" She looked back up at him and spoke that one word before she could even think what she was saying, a faint trace of wonder lacing her voice.

Kyle blinked back in surprise. He wasn't much in the mood for conversation but he couldn't exactly ignore her, she knew he had seen her. Besides, she was probably just lost or something and needed help finding her way back. It's not like there was anyone else around she could ask. He cleared his throat before answering.

"Hey," he called out, "are you lost?"

  @Immi1

"Oh um no...no I was just..." Aspen trailed off, thinking it best not to mention the whole shattering glass and canvas incident. Maybe he hadn't wanted her to see it. Still, she cursed herself for sounding so...small. Maybe it was the fact that he was on a roof and she was looking up at him from the other side of the road, or maybe it was something else, she couldn't be sure. He did look slightly intimidating, although he seemed nice enough considering he'd asked if she was lost.

"Oh..." He paused before adding rather quietly, "you saw that?" His eyes avoided her gaze shamefully. He mentally cursed himself for not having been more careful about it. He took mild comfort in the fact that at least it wasn't someone he knew.

Aspen looked at his face, sensing his shame and embarrassment. "Yes...I mean no...I mean...I'm sorry..." She sighed softly, feeling a little guilty herself that she'd stopped to watch him in the first place.

He let out a dry laugh, "It's ok, it wasn't exactly discreet." He shrugged it off as if it wasn't a big deal and took a final drag from his cigarette before putting it out and tossing the butt off the roof. "Mondays, you know how it is." He explained jokingly.

Aberdeen

The silver haired girl rolled her eyes as she walked out of the school building. Her first day had been awful, mostly because it was school, and no one likes school. She walked to her Sahara Jeep in the parking lot and threw her bags inside before hopping in the front seat and laying her head against the steering wheel. She started the vehicle and drove off towards her house. Once she arrived, she got out and went inside, her mother cooking dinner. Her father had died 3 years earlier do to a heart attack. She missed him dearly, hating that he wasn't here to see her grow up. "How was school?" Her mom asked. "Terrible. I hate school. We shouldn't of had moved again." Aberdeen said before sitting down at the table. "I'll probably go to the park or something later, look around ya know." She told her mom as she sat down a plate of spaghetti in front of her. "Okay, just be safe." Her mom answered as she sat down to eat. Abby was lost in he thoughts, twirling her fork around her food. Maybe this would be the last time they moved.
