Non-descript alleyway, bout to encounter Daniel, Arryn, and Elena
"Are you sure this is a good idea, Ann?" She found herself asking as she stared down at the portal. Her hands rested on the railing, thinking about her options carefully. Roland and a few others had jumped a minute or so ago, so that tempted her to jump as well. There was also the fact the Lucrezia went down herself was probably the biggest motivator, because to her, the war didn't stop in Aether, it stopped when the enemy either died or conceded. She had no idea what was on the other side, or what happened to the others by jumping, but she decided it was the best course of action. Her hands gripped the rail a bit tighter as she flung herself over it and into the portal below.
The first thing her eyes were met with was a blinding light. After blinking a few times, she found herself in an alley way, with a stone flooring and what looked to be brick walls on either side that ascended for a good hundred feet. She stood up, tugging the mask down to hang around her neck and glanced around. The next surprise was she couldn't find her daggers on her, and that they weren't anywhere nearby. "Where am I..." She mumbled as she ventured out of the alleyway. She began to hear voices, and she crouched low against the wall, trying to listen more.
"Just Daniel dear... As for Arryn and I..." Was that...? Hopefully it was the same Daniel and Arryn that she knew, otherwise she would not only be a fool, but in a really awkward position for listening in. She came out from around the corner, glanced around, and her eyes finally settled on a man, a bit taller than her, in a black coat and some form of tinted glasses. "Daniel? Do you have any idea where we are, sir? I feel very lost... Wherever we are." She said, looking at the other two. They did not look like anybody she knew, but she was hopefully taking a good gamble with this.
