I'm taking a back seat in Chapter 1, simply because any internal monologue from Lucy will spoil some big ol' plot coming up. Keeps her a bit more unknowable. Let everyone else have some fun Aahhaa

Hopefully have a nice Hannah post at some point in the next week.
 
You know, it IS possible to write from the perspective of characters that know things without spoiling anything at all. You just don't focus on the thoughts, feelings, and observations that are particularly spoilery (or just don't explain them in all that much depth if you do), or, if you want to be cheeky, you only give tiny little suggestive hints that leave the important details out.

There's a book called Warbreaker by Brandon Sanderson that has a PoV character that does this. Most of the book, based on the things he thinks and the things he remembers, you're led to believe he's just some grumpy mercenary, albeit a skilled one with a colorful past and magical abilities, but it turns out he's like some ancient god-like historical figure who's been alive for a really long time. When you go back and read his sections, you can see all the hints and it seems really obvious, but just going through the first time, he doesn't really give the twist away even though the chapters are very much in his thoughts, from his perspective.

Or, you know, maybe it was actually supposed to be obvious and it just totally went over my head.

Been waiting since Friday for a response guys, try to post ASAP - we're trying to stick to a max 72 Hour wait for the sake of pacing.

You can just write a few lines, it doesn't have to be some big paragraph or anything.

I've been poking ReverseTex ReverseTex constantly the last few weeks or so in PMs and he hasn't responded once. Someone said he's been busy, but whatever the case he hasn't so much as said hello, so I've just been dragging him along in posts in case he decides he wants to pop back in at some point. The last I heard from him, he said he could post on Tuesday, June 12. Then he never did and I haven't heard a thing from him since.
 
That being said I'm gonna NEED a werewolf character for Chapter two, so if anyone is interested in doing that let me know! <3
