Since I know I've got two more dark sided characters incoming, we may need one or two more Light characters.
I'll be doing a Earthborn, and another player is potentially bringing 2-3.

Should work out fairly even hopefully!

Of course, potential for more characters as we go,

So, when our characters jump to earth, are they starting with basically zero resources? Like, no money, no place to stay, no birth certificates or ID, nothing but the clothes on their backs and whatever possessions survive the crossover?

Yeah unless you're planning to work under the table washing cars ID is important over here.

Basically!

Vague plan is the Hero character will also have some sort of low level hypnotic suggestion like Lucrezia to help out - BUUUUT that's pretty much it. And even that ability won't last long.

Harsh. Might have to slum it in a homeless shelter for a while, in that case.

I have a suggestion. What if the Aetherian currency or diamonds and jewels or something carries over with us? Or possessions that are common on Aether that anyone would be carrying, but could be pawned or sold for a great deal on Earth. Like gold coins or whatever. They could be sold for some enough money to at least find somewhere to stay and maybe support themselves long enough to find another source of income. Medieval weapons and tomes are useful for battling in a high fantasy setting, but not so much in modern day London outside of their potential monetary value.

For the ID thing, I have fewer ideas. I don't know how it works in London, but on my side of the pond we'd have trouble getting ID of any kind without a birth certificate or a social security card or..some other form of proof that you are who you say you are. Hypnosis might help the Hero, but my understanding is that all our characters are going to be split up to start off? Everyone else is going to be up the creek without a paddle until he finds them or they find him.

Still, if we can sell some of our Aetherian stuff, we can at least not be homeless while we're all looking for one another.

OR

The Church of Light might have a "Seer" who helps prepare some temporary items to assist in fitting in or some such.

Or maybe whatever you take turns into a Earth equivalent?

Aetherian coin becomes normal money etc

Maybe some typical wise git travelled over some time before hand and helps set them up for...reasons.

Travel will become increasingly easy as the Church of Light begins to understand the other dimension.

It's getting back that's the problem.

Along the lines of a "seer" who helps with temporary items. What if the seer doesn't know specifically what items they will need to fit in on this planet, but he gives them an object with the means of gaining them once we figure it out for ourselves? Like, instead of a hypnosis power, this item would be able to cause the clerk who's giving them their ID to overlook their utter lack of past or identity or documentation and just give them what they need.

We can call it the Deus ex Machina charm.

Psychic Paper.

It'll fizzle out real quick. But it could be handy for a few days.

Wondering if I should throw together a crash course in British terminology/slang.

Couldn't hurt. I don't think anything is going to prevent me from inadvertantly coming across as a typical ignorant American tourist when I post, unfortunately.

Also, L latency 's Ae'ori Nevertell has a hilarious name ripe for shenanigans.

"Hey, what's your last name!"

"Nevertell!"

"Aw, c'mon, why not? Don't be shy!"

Brilliant.
