Working on some fresh Lore Sheets that'll go live with Chapter 2 - it's mostly just background stuff for Aetherian characters concerning Magic and an overview of things like the Church and the War and such. It'll be open to adjustments until the start of the next Chapter, at which point it goes solid. It has some retcons, so be aware.
There should at least be a guide to Magic, the CoL, a brief history of Aether, the War of Shadow and a few other things.
Will be handy for a quick reference guide but is still left somewhat un-detailed to allow others to make their own impact on the world. Can be especially handy for figuring out where your character was in the strength tier side of things. - plus it's not really super vital in the greater scheme of things.

NO BBcoding. Please stick to the following framework, it makes everything a lot easier.
NAME:
If your character is Aetherian, please include your original and new Earth name.
AGE:
Abnormals can potentially have extended lifespans, depending on background and abilities.
Aetherian has no true Immortals outside of a few stray individuals from the elder days. Elves usually clock in around a thousand years, Dwarves two hundred, Humans around seventy to eighty.
RACE:

CLASS:
ABNORMAL | AETHERIAN | HUMAN
(Please note, we are restricted to two more Aetherian characters at present, and they must have fought against Lucrezia during the Shadow War)
(New players are restricted to one character to begin with, Returning players may have a max of 3.)

This power would have had a significant impact on your personality and history. Alternatively - a Abnormal can also be a Human who has been infected with a Abnormal disease: For example, Vampirism or Lycanthropy.
(AETHERIAN)
All Aetherians were effectively "End-Game" characters before crossing over to Earth, so keep this in mind when writing down your abilities. You may however, go into detail about their capabilities "Pre-Portal" for fun. Please check the "Magic" lore page to get a good idea of what magical strength you would be - choose a Tier.
On Earth, the transition to a Human had caused you to lose all of your powers - but Chapter II now gives you access to a single Passive Ability.
You may regain other powers when your character "reawakens" to them, usually during defining moments of character development.

This gives a great opportunity to make any retcons/adjustments as needed and just polish everything up in general, as well as choose your new PASSIVE ABILITY. The new LORE pages will also help a lot, as the History of Aether is now fairly set in stone.
I'll also be DM'ing you each in turn after we wrap up Chapter I to find out what you'd like to do with your characters going forward development wise - but this is simply to give y'all a headstart.

Nothing to worry about friendo, the RP will be effectively be restarted at the end of Chapter I (Which has like, 2 or 3 bit posts left and they're pretty much done) at that point, they'll be a new interest check, a new page of redone lore and a few other things.
Then everyone will be resubmiting characters and stuff and we effectively restart. Except of course, the story continues from before. If you wanted to get a grip of things early however, feel free to message me.
I wouldn't worry too much though!

Be ready to wrap up whatever you wanna wrap up - we are FINALLY escaping this crazy slow ass group finale. Learned my lesson, things will be ticking along nicely after. We're gonna be back to the usual Human lives for a long time after. I'm relieved the RP didn't die. Thanks for sticking with me!
