Fantasy Beast's Legacy Reboot

Jeb sat in a conveniently placed hole in a tree, and watched as the rain fell down. He enjoyed the rain, it always kept things a bit cool, and the darkness it brought with it was always nice. He wasn't a big fan of bright lights like the sun. He huddled under the protective branches of the tree. Despite liking the rain, he didn't enjoy getting wet while he was in his owl form. It got all up in his feathers and felt really uncomfortable.

He'd slept for the past few hours, and hadn't expect a small storm to come in while he did so. Everyone else seemed to be inside, which was understandable. As far as he could remember, most of them weren't big fans of rain. He looked around, just to notice that everything was quite muddy. He did his best to frown, but only having a beak made that rather difficult. Water was bothersome, but mud was worse. He took a deep breath and then flew from his spot in the tree to the front door.

Just before he landed he shifted back to his human form and fell and couple feet. At least he'd avoided the mud, but he shivered at the feeling of water. He walked through the front door, and walked into the room where everyone seemed to be gathering. ‘Why not ask Peter or someone who can fly over?’ He caught as he entered the room. "Oi, I can do that too.." He said. He sat down on the floor and yawned loudly. "Not that it matters, Peter can do it...." He was still tired.

Parker's hands immediately flew up defensively. "Hey now, that's not fair, it's kinda scary over there-!" he stammered. Parker was hesitant to admit he was actually rather curious about it himself, but he was too chicken to go very far. He once spent a good hour or so sitting up on top of it, gazing out at the unknown, and managed (somehow) to fall on the other side of it. He didn't stay long- he'd cheesed it out of there and hadn't gone near it since. He glanced at Jeb as he entered.

"Right, Jeb? I don't know about you but I don't particularly want to fly over there... not alone, anyway." It was then the answer struck him.

"It wouldn't hurt to go together, would it?" Parker wasn't sure how he felt. He was both excited and terrified of the idea- and he also felt a little guilty about considering it. He was certain they all felt that guilt. The old woman always warned them it was too dangerous to leave. What if she was right about that? By even thinking about going beyond the wall was directly defying her.

Luna had sadly finished her steak at that point. Getting up, she walked towards the group in the living room. They were talking about the outside, and how someone should fly there. She growled a bit and transformed, standing interspersed with the group. She gave a glare at Parker, still mad about being splashed and looked back at the group.

Lylah grabs hotdog from the microwave once it was done sitting down with it using her fork to cut it into slices. She ate it quietly as more and more people entered and left the kitchen again. She turns her attention to Theo as he mentions the unknown of the beyond the wall. "I for one would like to see what's out there. I just feel like so many people are out there and so few of us in here. They can't all be bad can they? And maybe there's even more like us..." She states, her curiosity running away with the thought of exploring outside the house. "The food isn't nearly as good as it used to be nor is it coming as frequently. I don't know if anyone else has noticed that but I have and it worries me. Do they think there's not as many of us here or because our care taker isn't here anymore we can't complain anyways..." She sighs before going quiet, realizing she was rambling about the issue. She digs into her hotdog finishing it in less than a minute, it wasn't much of a meal, more of a snack.

Lucy finally decides to chime in. "Well, our meals aren't getting any more frequent or better, I haven't noticed any special shield keeping us in. I say we see whats out there. They can't treat us any worse than they are now."

Sebastian was in his Liger form, waking up from his nap. He went down stairs to join the others. When he got down stairs, he went over to them, shifting back to his human form. "So, what's all this commotion about?" He asked them, yawning.

Luna glared at the liger who came striding in. "Look who showed up." She muttered, a frown still on her face. She hated people in this building, but mostly the large cats. Which he is inexplicably is. And he is half of her, which makes her even more irritated. She moved her lower jaw, looking very irritated.
@CrimsonEclipse

"Why? Did the kitty wake up on the wrong side of her bed?" He asks in a mocking tone, brushing her face with a finger. He really likes to annoy Luna, especially because she gets angry so easy. "Did somebody for get her milk? Did someone step on your tail?" He continued, smirking at her.

@Icefox11

Lucy leans back, expecting a fight between the two. She nervously chews on her bottom lip. She didn't much care for fighting or arguing, and these two were big cats.

Luna stretched her jaw, snapping at his fingers. "Watch it hotshot, or you will lose the fingers you treasure so dearly." She said, shoving him away from her. She hated his guts so bad. She looked up and glared at him, her amber gaze piercing him and trying to decide which limb to rip apart first when she would kill him.

@CrimsonEclipse

"Why don't we settle this then?" He asked. He's smiling but his eyes is deadly serious. He is really annoyed, which is something he doesn't feel often, with Luna's attitude. She acts like she's better than everyone and that nobody is good enough for her. The way she treats everyone with hate is starting to piss him off. "Let's settle this then. If I win, you will do as I say, and if I lose, I'll do the same." He said, smirking at her, challenging her.

@Icefox11

Luna snarled at him. "Fine pretty boy." she said, getting dangerously close to his face. "We can settle this once and for all." She said, her eyes seeming to glow in the little light there was provided. She roared, her face contorting into rage as her claws came out. She transformed, her front paws thundering on the ground.

@CrimsonEclipse

He laughed. "How little you are." He said as he saw her transform. He transformed as well, his green and gold eyes gleaming. He was far bigger than her, thanks to his lion and tiger genes. He roared loudly, some of the silverware shaking.

Luna smiled, her teeth baring. "I bet your bark's bigger than your bite." She growled, her eyes gleaming at him. She really didn't care which part of him thought that toying with her would cause her to melt into his arms and let him take her away like a damsel in distress. No, she was more that some girl who needed to be pitied on.

@CrimsonEclipse

Lucy gets even further away as the two shift. She figured be would be safer in her cat form, so she changes. Nothing like the two wild cats, just a simple blonde domestic cat. Easy for escape if needed. "Alright you two! Break up the cat fight!" She yells.

Sebastian growled at Lucy, it was more of a cautionary growl than a threatening one. "Back off Lucy, don't try stopping us." He growled, looking at Lucy. "As for you, you piteous little kitten, you need to learn some manners." He said, smirking. He was quite a terrifying sight. He is of massive sight and he looks even more intimidating with his fangs bared. He suddenly pounced at Luna, knocking her down. He pinned her to the ground and roared at her face. (Don't you find it funny that in one rp we are lovers and in here we are enemies?)

"Right, Jeb? I don't know about you but I don't particularly want to fly over there... not alone, anyway." Jeb didn't exactly like where this was going. Sounded like a lot more work than he'd like to do in the day. "It wouldn't hurt to go together, would it?" Jeb looked at him with his tired eyes. He would feel like an asshole for not following if this was what was going to happen. Being brave for someone else, huh. ".. Maan, yeah, sure, whatever. If that's what you feel like, I'm game." That's when the fighting broke out.

It wasn't exactly the first time, but it was still ridiculous. They were stuck here together, fighting should be out of the question, especially when you've got the ability to maul each other. Nontheless, someone would have to try and do something about it, and if one of the other big animals did it.. They might just make it worse. Jeb was clearly a lot weaker, and therefore him daring to intervene might give a different response? Well, it was worth a shot.

He walked up to the pile of Sebastian and Lucy, and gave the Liger a light kick to his back leg, just to get his attention. "Oi! Break it up. You guys are being ridiculous."

@Icefox11

He smirked. "I'm not going to hurt her." He said, still standing over Luna. Seeing Jeb's stern face, he sighed. "Fine." He said to Jeb. But before he stood up, he licked Luna's face, the animal equivalent of a quick kiss. Then he stood up, laughing at her expression.

Luna looked at him with horror. She changed back as quick as possible and glared at him, very angry. "What the hell was that for!" She said, her eyes glowing. He had always gotten on her nerves, but that was over the edge. She turned away from him, not wanting to look at his stupid face any longer, as it's smugness would only make her angrier.

(I know, isn't that kind of funny?)

Emilia was about to answer Theo when more people spoke up and joined the conversation. She faded back to the window, staring outside at the rain and frowning. She would love to go splashing in puddles and playing around, but now was not the time for such childish (albeit fun) actions. She sighed and pulled her legs up to her chest. She became lost in the labyrinth of thought...

and then she was snapped back by a loud roar. Her attention came back to the present, and she looked to see Sebastian and Luna fighting. She went blank faced. Again? Freaking again? She facepalmed with a resounding smack and sighed with aggravation. These two will never grow up, will they. They seriously need to kiss-n-make-up already because I swear, they're going to take someone else out with them. Emilia blinked slowly. Well, they got the kiss down. Not so much the making up part. Not wanting to get involved, Emilia got up and went for the door, slipping outside. She shifted and padded out into the rain, smiling a bit to herself in her head. The rain had always helped her cope with stress. And she had been full of anxiety since the caretaker passed. Emilia shook herself and padded into the middle of the yard,then sat and stared up at the sky as if it held the answers to the universe.

Shifting back to human, Sebastian addressed the others. "So, anyway, I was asking something before Luna here interrupted me, so I'm going to ask again. What is it about the talk of going out of the wall?" He asked, looking at them. He was always the responsible one, being the right hand guy of their caretaker. He was closest to the caretaker, which means he will not disobey her. "I know that all of you are curious to see what is over the wall. I am too, but don't you think that she has a reason why she kept us here, safe and guarded?" He asked them, trying to convince them.

Lucy butts into the conversation again. "Yeah. She most likely kept us in here for a reason. She was probably ordered to. Maybe we're different. Not like them. Maybe... Just maybe, they don't like us. But who's keeping us in here now? Ourselves! We are guilting ourselves into staying in this cage. They see us as caged animals. We are the ones that have to prove them wrong."

Brutus looked at the gravestone, his paws making deep markings on the muddy ground. He had been sitting besides the grave for some time, ignoring the rain that rushed down to the ground. Well, you've been good to us, cared for us and took us in as your own children. Now you left us to fend for ourselves, you taught us to live well and be happy and yet, when you left us, we got confused, scared, distant. Now we are without your guidance, your wise words or your caring smile. I feel as one of the eldest that you've left a burden to me, Percy and Levi. I- Gabriel was taken out of his thoughts as he heard a roar coming from where the house would be. And they are at it again.

Brutus turned around and moved away from the grave. Each step left a imprint on the mud. He sprinted between the trees, slowing down once he could see the house again. Well no more roaring I guess someone fixed it. Brutus continued a bit, until he saw Emilia. "What happened? Seems like there was trouble going on?" He asked her as he sat down on the muddy terrain. "Well, atleast it stopped."

@Cuddly Kraken

(Christonabike, it's not fun to be sick and throwing up, sorry for the late post.)

Emilia looked down as she heard a rustling from the trees. A giant dog that could take out a bear (literally) came bursting out between the trees. But she wasn't afraid. She knew this dog. Even though he was likely 3 or 4 times her size he wouldn't hurt her.

"Sebastian and Luna, that's what happened," Emilia stated simply. That would explain the entire situation. Those two were known for their fights. Emilia shifted her front paws in the mud and sighed. She looked back to the house briefly and then back to Gabriel aka Brutus. "Where were you anyway, Gabe?"

@Sigismund

Brutus stared at the house. "Them again? Sheesh, can't they do anything else than bicker?" He shook his head lightly and readjusted his paws from sinking too deep into the mud. "Where I was?" Brutus looked back at Emilia.

"I was over by the grave, paying my respects, it's the least we can do. After all she took care of us for so long, I am surprised I am the only one that chose to go out and do visit her. Then again, I guess most of the others are afraid of a little rain?" Brutus turned his attention back to the forest. "Then again, it happened so suddenly, atleast it seems most of us are still holding." Brutus looked up towards the sky. "Or trying to."
