Ruby still wasn't sure that's what he meant, so Ruby asked, "Is there something you want to talk about? Something you need to say?"

Jack looked at her. "No, i just had a change in mind and figured i would teach you my fighting style." Jack didn't smile...he never smiles.

Ruby didn't think that it's nothing, but she just let it go and continue with the teaching. "So whats the fighting style you do the most?"

"I'll show you." Jack takes his scythe, slams it in the ground, and jumps. "Arial attacks." He lands on the scythe. "If you can get up in the air quick enough, you have the advantage." Jack got off of his scythe and handed it to ruby.

Ruby sees how he dos it and try to attempt it. "Like this?.. Whoa! (Crash)" Ruby fell and knock over some of Jack's stuff. "OMG, I'm so sorry." As Ruby was cleaning up the mess, she sees a picture of Jack and some girl. "Who's this?"

Jack laughed a little and started to clean up the rest. "That's my younger sister, her name is Cotton." Jack fell silent for a few moments. "She disappeared out of no where." Jack continued to clean until he finished.

Ruby looked at Jack and said, "I-i'm sorry if I hit a bad memory there." As they were cleaning up, Ruby heard Yang outside. "Ruby! Ruby!" "What." "Class starts in 5 minutes. Hurry up." Ruby realized the time and she was going to be late. "Oh no, we're going to be late. Come on Jack lets get to class."

Jack looked at Ruby and grabbed his scythe. "Don't worry about it." He looked at her and left the room and headed to class.

As they head to the class room, Fred was there and he saved three seats for them. Yang sat next to Ruby and Jack sat next to Ruby and Fred. The Teacher saw Fred and Jack and said, "Ah, you two, you had a great battle. Thank you for demonstrating." As the Teacher went on with his lesson Fred turned to Jack and ask, "So, whats going on?"

Jack looks over and moves away to a more empty area. He sighs and starts to work on his scythe's ammunition. "Why must i be bothered." He said to himself.

As Jack is sitting over there, Fred just remembered that he has some schismatics for an upgrade of his weapon and needed to see if they are good, so he started working on a upgrade also. Fred sees that he is needing a tool so he ask Jack if he has one. "Hey Jack, do you have this tool?"

Jack gives no response. After Jack finishes the ammunition upgrades, he leaves the room unnoticed.

Fred ask the teacher if he has that tool. The teacher dos has the tool so he lends it to him. Fred tinkers with the weapon and was able to make a prototype. "Yes, the prototype is completed. Now where should I test it?"

Jack heads back to his room and passes out just right around the corner.

Ruby notices Jack leaving so she follows him. She found him passed out and called for help. Fred and Yang came and took Jack to the nurse. All they can do now is wait. "Is he gonna be ok?" said Fred. The Nurse is not sure, she says come back in an hour. Fred understands and leaves with Yang but Ruby stays with him.

An hour later Jack wakes up. "Not again." He looks to find Ruby sleeping in a chair.

As Jack woke up he began to pack up and leave, but then Fred comes through the door and sees that hes awake. "Oh, good, you're awake. You need to stay in bed. The nurse said that you have a big concoction and should not be moving around." As Fred said that, Ruby woke up and saw that Jack was awake. "Oh, You're awake! Hows your head, are you ok, do you need anything?" said Ruby with a very concern look.

Jack gets a little dizzy and takes a step back. "Yeah Ruby, i'm alright." he looks over at Fred and nods in a thankful manner. "So, who brought me here this time?"

Fred looks at Ruby and Ruby said, "When I saw you walk out, you seemed a bit pale so I followed you and found you on the ground. I called for help and Fred and Yang herd it and came rushing. They pick you up and ran to the nurse." As Ruby was finishing talking, Jack looked over and saw Fred tinkering with his prototype.

Jack looks over at ruby. "Thanks." he then looks over at Fred and says "Fred, let me see the prototype. I can fix it up." he reaches out his hand and puts tools on the table in front of him.

Fred hands Jack the prototype. "As you can see, I am trying to get this function to work properly, but it seems to get stuck right in the process of action." Fred points at the blueprints showing the situation.

Jack examines the blueprints. "Easy fix." Jack takes the prototype apart and puts it back together in a different manner. "That should do it."

Fred looks at it and said, "Really, that's what it needed? Man, I feel stupid." Fred tries out the weapon and the function works better than expected. "Wow, now it will sharpen the axe with every shot I make and add a bit of friction in there so it will be nice sharp and burning. Thanks Jack." As Fred is looking through his weapon, he realize that the big test for our teams are coming up in the next two weeks. "Are you able to be fully recovered for the test?"

Jack sits down and puts his stuff down. "If not, i'll still be there. And your welcome Fred" Jack looks over at ruby and ask's "Hey Ruby, why are you always so worried about me?"

Ruby look at Jack and paused for a second. "You're my friend Jack and I always look after my friends. I try to make friends now since I'm here at Beacon at a young age. My dad always says, Stranger are just friends you haven't met yet. It's the same with Fred here. I knew we could be friends because hes a cheerful guy. And I knew that you and I can be friends with you because of your awesome moves and interest in weapons , that's all." She smiles at him. "She's right Jack, We're all friends here. We look after each other. No matter how hard it gets." said Fred while resting his weapon on his back.
