Jack sighs and finishes his designs and get's to work on his scythe making it more reliable in any situation. "I'm totally going to be open minded..."


he started to talk under his breath. His room door was still open. The hallways were empty. Except for a few people now and again.

Morning in the Beacon Academy, students are all talking about the fight that happen between Jack and Fred. Fred was getting breakfast and still had a headache and a really sore back. Everyone was ask Fred how the fight went and he answered, "The fight was really heck tick and I thought it was an even match, but sadly I lost fair and square." As he said that he sees Jack over at the window, alone and choose to sit with him.

Jack sits and continues work on his weapon upgrades. Ignoring everyone who passes and says something. He says to Fred "What the hell do you want?" Jack doesn't bother to even look up.

Fred sat across from Jack and said, "I didn't congratulate you on your victory, you are a very good fighter. Where did you learn how to fight like that?" Fred began eating his breakfast.

Jack doesn't respond for a little more than 10 minutes. "Why do you care?" Jack begins removing the old dust flow system to replace it with the new one.

Fred looked at Jack and said, " It's just that I want to become strong so I can be a great hunter someday, but in order for that, I need to train. So I was asking where you learn the moves is so it wouldn't be hard for you to teach me."

Jack finishes installing the new dust flow system and grabs his things then starts to walk away. "Is it so hard to leave me alone?"

While Jack is leaving he gets stopped by three guys. One of them ask, " Hey your that guy who beat the hell out of old Fredster over there. I was wondering if you would like to join our group. We can easily run the school together."

Jack pushes them out of the way and continues on his way. "No way in hell i'm working with you." he ready's his weapon in case a fight breaks out. Jack takes off his hood and his eyes begin to glow a brighter red.

Fred sees this and stepped in. "Hey there's no need to get all fired up." The boy sees Fred and says, "Hey you're the one who got knocked out. And your saying, to me, to not get fired up? Maybe you're still banged up. I'm Cardin Winchester, and you are getting a knuckle sandwich." Just as Cardin threw his punch, Fred grabbed it and said, "You really shouldn't have done that." Fred flip Cardin over and he knock a table over spilling a plate of food on his head. Fred just smiled and walk to his room, rubbing his head.

Jack arrives in his room, puts his bag down and sits at his desk and continues working on his weapon. "This damn weapon..." jack under his breath is speaking to himself. He sighs heavily. "Oh wait!" Jack finds the issue and fixes it then test's out the mechanism. "It works!" Jack's voice was a bit loud. "I hope no one else heard that..."

Just when Jack says that, someone knock on the door. Jack says nothing but the person said, "Jack it's me Fred." "And Ruby, oh and Yang is here too." No answer. "I know you're in there, I herd that you got your new design to work, and I forgot to give you back your knife from the air ship." There was still no answer, as they were just about to leave, Winchester is stomping at Fred with his big mace. "Oh, uh... C-Cardin what do you want?" Cardin answered, "YOU AND ME HAVE SOME UNFINISHED BUSINESS, FREDDIE!"

Jack immediately stepped outside the door with his scythe ready. Jack faces Cardin and his eyes glow. "No, cardin. WE have unfinished business." Jack smirks and ready's his scythe. He takes his hood off and takes his stance.

Cardin looked at Jack and said, "Out of my way Flower boy, this guy needs to be taught a lesson." Cardin walk pass him and raised his mace up high and was about to swing it.

Jack stopped his mace with the barrel of the scythe aimed at Cardin's gut. "What did you just call me?" Jack's eyes began to glow brighter with a darker red. He loaded a bullet into the chamber and was ready to fire it. He looks back at ruby and says "Ruby, Watch closely if you want to figure out how i did what i did in the class room." Jack looks back at Cardin

Cardin looks at Fred and says, "Aren't you gonna stop him?" Fred answered, "Hey, I'm still recovering from the first time we fought. But I can give you a word of advise, Ouch." "Kick his ass Jack" said Yang. "This is gonna be good." said Ruby holding up a camera.

Jack pushed up on the mace throwing it out of reach. "No one is going to stop me." Jack slams the scythe into the ground and jumps on top of it and kicks Cardin in the chest. "Now. The fun begins." Jack landed back on his scythe and pulled it from underneath him and dashed at Cardin, hooking him and tossing him up then bats him into the ground. Jack let's go of the scythe as it slams into the ground, he lands on it and stands there with his back turned to the group. "Filthy Bully." Jack starts coughing up a little bit of blood.

The guys that were with Cardin at breakfast saw what happen and dragged Cardin away, but not before getting warned by Jack to not tell nobody. They nodded and took Cardin to the nurse. "WOW! That was amazing, the way you flung him in the air and when you slam him into the ground was awesome!" said Ruby. "Yes, that's what Cardin deserves for all hes done." said Yang. Fred look at Jack and said, "Thanks for that friend, but are you alright you have a little blood on your mouth."

Jack doesn't bother to turn around, but he jumps off his scythe picks it up and goes back into his room to continue working on it. "Why must i always be the one to fight?" Jack questioned him self. "Oh well." He sighed and went back to work and ignorantly left the door open.

Fred looked considered, so he grabbed the tape from Ruby and replayed it. Fred notice something off. He zoomed in and saw Jack is still recovering from their battle. So Fred went to go check up on him. "Hey Jack, you didn't have to fight him if you were still hurt. I could have taken care of him. You didn't have to push yourself for me. Well your probably aren't going to talk so i'll just leave these pain revilers and leave you alone until class." Fred started to walk back to his room and start thinking of ideas for a upgrade. "If you need anything Jack, don't hesitate to call us." Said Ruby. "Yeah, take care." said Yang.

Before ruby leaves jack turns and faces her. "Ruby, stay here for a few. Iv'e re thought some things." He turns back and continues his work. After hours of working on his upgrades, he finally completed them. Jack puts his weapon aside and invites ruby into his room.

Ruby looked at Jack with a excited look. "Are you going to show me more awesome moves?"

Jack nods. "I can't show you. But i can teach you." Jack went and closed the door then sat on his bed.

Ruby looked a bit concerned. "Is something wrong Jack?" said Ruby.

Jack simply chuckled. "I'm still injured." He handed ruby his scythe and stood.
