Fantasy Battle of the Gods

Caraline ducked from the flying form. Oh god, that isn't actually a Wolf is it?! She snarled and barked to it. She didn't want to fight the thing but hoped it would recognize her as an Alpha and take leave off this Dragon. She'd actually grown to like it's smart mouth and decided he wasn't the threat. But this thing was. She hoped the pups would take sense finally and run off. Maybe even snatch that Dragon she attacked earlier.

Lucas quickly turned to Chris, "Come on let's get out here." He said to her. He didn't want to leave Caraline by herself but it was clear there was no prying her away from this. He looked behind him at the dragon that Caraline had taken down. It was clear that she hadn't meant them any harm, yet Caraline had attacked her anyway. This was a terrifying. He could feel the panic rise inside him but pushed it to the side. "Help me get her to saftey." He told Chris as he ran over to aid the poor dragon girl.

Following behind him, Christbella followed him to the wounded dragon girl. Okay, this was th closet she had been to a dragon. She quickly tore off the cost she was wearing and wrapped the wound to help control the bleeding for now Atleast. She looked at Lucas as she glanced back at where they had left their alpha, hoping she would alright and meet them back later,

"Alright let's get her back to the house ok?" He bent down and lifted the dragon girl up bridal style. It was a good thing she was in human form, and a very small human form. It made her easier to carry. However her being naked was a little awkward to say the least. He then nodded to Chris and ran off in the direction of home. "Keep a look out!" He called behind him. "We can't have any of these guys following us or we'll be screwed." He looked down at the dragon in his arms. Was she the only one on their side anymore? It seemed like all these dragons cared about was destruction, and he didn't even want to know what the other thing was.

Chris watched as he picked up the small dragon girl, glancing behind them as he began running. After making sure the coast was clear Christbella followed close behind, glancing back to make sure no one followed. To their luck, no one had followed them to the mansion. Chris opened the large doors and shut them tightly behind her, running up the large mansion steps as she gathered the first aid kit and running back downstairs as she began to take care of the painful bite.

Caraline was relieved that the young Wolves and that harmless Dragon was safe. That Dragon might come of use one day. She focused back on the topic at hand. She stood a bit closer to the Dragon, hoping it would recognize her as not a foe. Cari barked at the thing to stop attacking and go after something else. It wasn't a Wolf's job to attack Dragons. But something felt off about this one. The look in its eyes were complete bloddlust and it horrified her.

Garentius bellowed in not pain, but enjoyment as he was bathed in scorching hot flames.

The inferno raged around Garentius, searing every inch of his body. Garentius's skin became charred and black as he felt his innards lightly melt and eyes waste away under the fiery breath of the dragon.

When the flames stopped, Garentius fell onto the ground. The damage he had sustained was enough to incapacitate him physically, but of course this was not at all permanent.

Pus and blood began to ooze out from Garentius's body in prodigious quantities as his skin flaked and broke apart. After a few seconds, the outer layer of his skin, which was burnt to a crisp, peeled off, slapping the ground with a squelching splatter. Garentius's skin had been completely peeled off, exposing a pink body of raw tissue and musculature. No blood seeped from the skinless body, as inhibitors had already been produced to stop bleeding.

Regeneration then began.

Tissue began to rapidly bubble around Garentius as if he were covered in foam. The disgusting flesh color of the froth surrounding Garentius began to stabilize and take the form of the hardened armor skin that Garentius had worn from his last "death".

The fight was so very exciting, it was what had defined Garentius's life before reason and it was still his greatest pleasure. The feeling of having his body destroyed, reconstructed, and become stronger was an addictive feel that Garentius relished.

Anticipating more and more destruction, Garentius began to salivate as he bared his massive, razor sharp fangs. Garentius knew that he had been felled by a bath of fire, and once again his body started to convulse as it adapted.

Completely resisting fire would be an evolution that would take more than five "deaths" to create, but one was enough for a very slight resistance. If one was a keen observer, one would see that Garentius's sweat was much thicker and mucus like. This would quickly coat Garentius's body in a heat resistant blanket of sorts, but nothing of the caliber required to withstand dragon breath. It would be just enough to withstand walking around in a natural fire with ease.

Garentius was completely surrounded in a fire that roared in hunger, but it did not faze him. Garentius walked through this fire and out into the open with little repercussion to his bulk.

Garentius was crazed with blood lust now, his entire being both mind and soul wished to ravage, but this stupor was stopped when Garentius heard the Alpha attempt to communicate with him.

It had been over fifteen years since any Alpha had even bothered to talk with him, and Garentius did not definitely understand the meaning behind the Alpha's grunts and growls, but he understood them.

Garentius had never hated his captors and his kind, and this was the first time an Alpha had contacted him since he had developed a logical mind.

The effect was quite peculiar on him. Garentius instinctively stepped towards the Alpha with aggressive posture, ready to pounce and tear, but his mind stopped him.

Garentius did not know how to speak in wolf language through their grunts and growls, but he could speak english as he had bothered to learn it.

"Hello. Your an Alpha. Authority. You want me standing down. I concede."

Garentius said in a deep and powerful tone. He stood more than seven body lengths taller than the Alpha, but yet his mind knew that acceeding to the Alpha's demands was the best decision.

And he also desired something else also.

He wanted to learn of the wolves that had forsaken him to torture and imprisonment so long ago. He had no menacing hate for any of them, but he was simply curious as to how his own brethren lived and why they had opted to ostracize him.

"But. I have a condition. I go. With you and the younger ones. Yes?" Said Garentius as his eyes began to lose their destructive glare.

Suiren was barely conscious at this point. Her body caked in her own blood. It was then she realized she was no longer on the ground out in the forest. She turned to see a girl before her. She was patching her wounds. "Thank you." She said quietly in a gentle voice. She was grateful for this act of kindness. Taking another glance around she realized she was in a room, in some kind of building. She thought of the battle she had witnessed and tear rolled down her cheek. "Who are you?" She asked the girl. "How did I come to be here. There was a horrible battle." Her voice began to choke up.

Lucas watched as Chris helped the Dragon. He hadn't seen one so...well, pretty. Her hair was different shades of aqua. Her skin was pale, and her frame was short and small. She didn't look like any dragon he had ever seen before. Especially not the ones he had just come across. "I'm going to check the perimeter." He said to Chris snapping himself out of his staring trance. "Take care of her ok?"

"I will." Christabella promised Lucas as he said he was going to check the border. "Oh it's nothing." Smiling as she continued to patch the stractchs. "My names Christabella, but you can call me Chris." She Said as wrapped the scratches to stop the bleeding and began cleaned the access blood. "Yes, it was a horrible battle. Sorry my alpha attacked, I don't think she knew you meant no harm and was caught up in the moment." She said,"Lucas," she pointed at the boy who was heading for the door," And I brought you back here to help you." She said, standing as she went to get the woman a blanket so she wouldn't have to sit nude.

Duragon glared through the flames at the thing. "The hell kind of wolf is that?" he was talking out loud. Watching the thing rise from the flames and then walk out of them concerned him even more. In human form the thing toward over him and he didn't like what he saw. He knew that there should be nothing left but bones after it was bathed in his fire, yet here it stood, looking even stronger and ready for battle then what he had glimpsed before. He was ready for an attack when not only did the thing stand down, but also spoke, and seemed to stop fighting. He looked to the Alpha not sure if this thing was hers or not, but after seeing the young wolves carry the dragon away flames began to flicker on his clothes. "While I appreciate you calling off this tower of insanity, do you mind telling me just what the hell you think you're doing with one of my kind?" he was irritated and a little on edge after almost having his head squeezed off his shoulders.

Suiren glanced at the boy who was now leaving the room She then twing, her wound aching slightly. Turning back to the girl she looked at her with gentle eyes. "Thank you Christabella. Your kindness is appreciated." She looked around the room again as the girl left for a moment returning with a blanket. "Are you a wolf?" She finally asked her. She had to have been, she didn't sense dragon from her at all and the earthy scent of dog lingered with her.

Lucas left the house and immediately shifted into wolf form. He dashed off into the forest. He needed to clear his head. Caraline had been terrifying. He didn't know what to think about it. He eventually came to the conclusion that he'd speak to her when she returned If she returns, his mind said to him. He quickly shook the thought away. Now wasn't the time. He had a job to do. He had to keep Chris and that dragon safe.

"Don't worry, I'm just glad we got you back to safety to care for your wound." Smiling, Christabella draped the blanket over the woman's shoulders. "Yea, have been since I was little," Chris shook her head at the memory. She didn't need her past now. She had people who were her kind and who accepted her. This whole talking a lot was a new thing to her too. She usually was one to keep quiet off in a corner somewhere. "Do you want me to get you some ice to help?" She asked.

Sitting up and accepting the blanket Suiren touched her side. It was tender, but most of the pain had subsided. She looked to the girl as she spoke. Some amount of displeasure showing as she confirmed her species. "Are you burdened by what you are?" She asked her and then thinking about her offer. "A glass of water would be appreciated if you don't mind." She said.

Nezera had returned to the city. She felt better now but she was very hungry and coudn't be in her human form. The battle was still going on in the other end of the town and a big group of frightened humans had gathered. She coudn't kill them without no one noticing, so she went up to the closest one and sucked her dry. The panic came quick and the humans started running in all directions, she was faster than them, so she quickly killed mabey 10 more.

She wanted to go look at the fight, and mabey kick some dragon butt, but she knew her limits and she would die. So she stayed there, satifying her hunger. She was quite sure though that they could smell her though, and she was hoping they were to focused on their fight to notice her.

Duragon was pissed that he was being ignored, and as he stared at the two his bared and gritted his teeth. "So is this some rabid pet you had?" he said looking at the Alpha and walking and standing off center to the space between the two of them as his focus went back in forth between the two, "Hey! Leaning Tower of Bat-shit-crazy, what the hell are you?" he wanted to take this opportunity to punch this thing in the face, but not only was way up above him, but seeing as though he didn't want to go into dragon form he found it best not enrage this monstrosity after it had been told to heel. As he was about to break into another tirade and berate the both of them he caught the scent of human blood on the wind, and what appeared to be the scent of a vampire. He figured he might as well go check that out since it wasn't too far off. "Well I'm sure I'll run into you two again," he slapped the Alpha's hand as he departed, getting the blood from the dragon she had attacked on his hand, "Catch you two later." he said sarcastically, licking the blood on his hand, getting the scent and taste of the dragon in his system. He figured after whatever became of this encounter that he would use that dragon's blood to track her down and see what they had done to her, he may have been a rouge dragon but that didn't mean he was going to sit back and let the other two parties take his kind as pets or prisoners. He dashed off in the direction of the scent of human blood, soon being able to hear their screams, and after removing his eye-patch able to see where the commotion was coming from.

Arriving on scene, he placed his eye-patch back on and walked toward the culprit, grinning. "So...I understand that these things are beneath us and all, but don't you think you may be going a little overboard over here?"

Nezera wiped her mouth while looking at the dragon in human form. Finaly someone she could handle.

"I am hungry snakey, just trying to survive you know. And this was nothing in compare with the panic your kind started back there, they were in dragon form even." He had an eyepatch over his dragon eye. Oh, so now we can't run around scaring everybody, but an fight is ok. She was still in vamipre form, and she was still hungry for some dragon blood. And this one had a very tempting neck.

Duragon shrugged. "Yeah, I got to that party kind of late, but it seems like nobody knows the meaning of discretion around here. Wolves too." he said looking at all the commotion. "Clearly subtlety isn't our strong suit," he roared loudly sending the already scattering people running for their lives, "Well at least this way he can have a little fun. You don't look all that bad...may need a tan, but other than that pretty good." he smirked as he stared at the female vampire. Dragon on Dragon, Wolf on Dragon, and now Dragon on Vampire...why did I even bother? he scratched the top of his head as he looked at the blood-sucker in front of him. "Well now you have someone who can fight back, so how about a little fun?"

"Sure." she hissed and charged towards him with opend mouth, showing her fangs. She knew that she was faster than him, but that he was stronger. And she should probably make him pass out before she could eat him, because even if she took all his blood, he would only feel a little bit dizzy. She jumped up and aimed a kick towards his stomach.

Duragon smiled at the accepted invitation. He figured that he would definitely be outmatched speed wise, but he could make up for that with strength and strategy alone. As she threw the kick at him he used his left forearm to block it and was pushed backwards, off balance. He wanted to have a little fun, so he was in no rush to try to man-handle her after she so graciously accepted the match. The wolves may have been out for her kind but he was out for whatever he wanted, and at the moment he wanted to play around. As he slid to a stop and regained his balance he shook his left arm at his side, her kick packed a lot more punch than he expected and it felt like she may have actually cracked his forearm, but then again it was the price to pay for fighting the way he did.

(Sorry.... Work called me away and for some reason I wasn't getting any notifications... Let's see if I'm appropriately caught up...)

I so short of a time so much had transpired. Between the wolves, the fleeing vampire, and the Old One who seemed intent on battling her things were hectic enough. Now with the arrival of some monstrous beast and another dragon Kurenai has to reevaluate the situation.

Her first step was to disengage from the Old One, a task accomplished with a bit of effort. As claws scraped against her hide she roared, head rearing back as she called forth a gout of bright blue flame. This she spewed directly into his face, the flames intended mainly to impede his vision.

A gentle curve of her body secured her escape, talons dragging across her scales as she slipped from his grasp. Opening get massive wings to their full extension she shook out the flames and took to the sky.

Scales shifted in hue, blending with the night as she shot higher into the sky. She uttered a singular roar, this one of rage and warning and took to the sky. She would be back, but for now there was nothing to be gained from further conflict.

But rather than the fire dying where the wolf smouldered, a larger than life appeared.

As if some sort of portal, an enormous wryvern appeared the size of the engulfed area, the flames absorbed by the presence of the beast. He looked upon the dragon, the one which had ended him so quickly, finding it a better suit for such a brawl. Taking surprise with his actions, he lept from the ground onto the area he could see tracks, and began heading to them, unsure on what to find but hoping to avenge himself.

As for the dragon, he did the unexpected. The flames he controlled to damage his skull, sending his body limp to the ground as it soon died, the fire upon his body dying as his scales turned black like obsidian. "Dahk vehk tush benaval. I honor the forgotten one, who shall return. Take warning, and prepare for his reign once more." With that last message to his chamption, his body crumbled into bits, ashes floating throughout the sky until they disappeared.

But the ashes were more than a dying fire. They traveled far and wide, finally making it to the lost lands of Falkrieth. There, the largest volcano, a mammoth known by the name of Tuntmield, played as a landing place for the ashes to fall into. The enormous rock seemed to glow at the touch of the ashes, the death of battle being one of the links to re-awakening Thrashnald, the all mighty. Soon, deep deep down into the depths of the volcano, an eye brighter than the lava itself glowed, beginning to awaken. The presence of this life could be felt by any dragon or mind knowing of the legends, a pounding sensation within their minds as a message rung out, sounding of the crushing of boulders and the voice before time itself. "Yohl dush Mient. I, will, awaken."

He blocked her kick with his arm, making her hurt her foot a little bit, but she could still stand on it so it was not a big problem. He did lost his balance a little bit and for a moment the just stood there, watching eachother. She had noticed that he fighted for fun, wich she also kind off did, but she wanted to hurt him. She wanted to hurt this Dragon. She attacked him again, starting to punch him in his face, but she changed her plans and ripped of his eyepatch, scratching his face with her nails in the process.

She dropped the patch to the ground, staring into his dragon eye and on the small scars she gave him with a grin. She wanted to see the dragon she was hurting.

"Eh, I was at first, but then after I was brought here, and well, I sort of grew used to it." Christabella said, standing once more to grab her a glass of water."One sec." She smiled and walked towards the kitchen, taking out a glass. She turned the faucet on and let some water pour in to it before turning the faucet off and walking back. She gave the glass to the woman and sat down

Caraline took a deep breath in, actually surprised it worked. She had heard stories of this type of Wolf. One born only to kill and maim, the perfect war machine but what to do of it once the war was won? They had locked him up in the dungeon she believed. She took a risk and stepped forward, shifting down to her human form. It was bloodied and her clothes slightly torn from the battle. "Of course. You'll come with us and become Pack. Is that alright?" she reached out a hand, hoping her showing her weaker form would cause him to reel back from his true nature and succumb to the words of Alpha. Her eyes glowed, her words having force but it wasn't against his will. It was a force that showed her truth behind her words. She will take him in and she will make him part of her Pack. She took in any Wolf that needed a Pack and this one seemingly needed a Pack.

Suiren thanked her taking the glass of water. She then placed her other hand over the top of the glass, closing her eyes and concentrating. The water began to glow, it went from a starry blue to a pure white. It continued to glow as she drank it, the light shining for a moment from within her and then fading. Suiren's life had started out in the water, and one of her talents came from it. She used this magic to create a healing drink from it. Her wounds would heal much faster now.
