Fantasy Battle of the Gods

"When a foolhardy beast such as you raises trouble in this place only a hatchling would not be able to make the connection..."

The dragoness held her position between the wolves and the dragon. There was no fear in the golden eye, only what appeared to be amusement. The flames he had breathed at her had warmed her scales. She grinned, muzzle opening as she roared giving life to a stream of blue flames. These she aimed at his feet.

"Just because you were the First does not mean I will yield Old One... Return to memory where you belong..."

The dragon took such a sentence as a challenge, channeling his body into the flames she had brewed and formed in front of her, slashing her face as he leaped onto her, tackling her into a nearby building. He would not be capable of attacking with his body, but his head he rose and sent down near hers, attempting to smash her neck and engulf it with flames or crush it.

As for the pack, the small group of dragons smashed into eachother, analyzing the wolves' forms and becoming three furious beasts themselves as they forwarded towards them with snarls which echoed through the flames.

Kurenai was by no means taken off guard by the large dragon attempt to tackle her. She dodged the swipe of his claws, her neck curving back. He was strong indeed and managed to press her into the building. But she was swift and quick of wit. When he reared back to slam his head into her she slipped from his grasp in the simplest way she knew how. She reverted to her human appearance.

The slender red head alighted gracefully on the ground. She took off at a run tossing flames at the backs of the three dragons attacking the wolves. It wouldn't be enough to kill them simply to distract.

She sighed back to get dragon form, wings opening as she took to the air. A roar sent another stream of flames at the old dragon as she rose higher. As she did so she caught the faint glimpse of a third dragon watching from the roof. She grinned and flew up into the clouds.

The dragon galloped towards the she-dragon in human form, crashing through the houses near him as he chased. He flew into her as she formed, her flames engulfing his back as his head extended from the adding of the flames. It grew to a point where his neck slithered next her body, scorching fires and towards her left wing with a fire that started to burn immensely, controlled to not spread. His body was left active and allowing him to fly, but soon attempted to weigh her back to the ground a quick tangling of her winged limbs and attatchment of his talons to her hide.

The wolves, however, began to break down from the fire, rather than growing from it as the dragon did. The parts of the woman's fire which touched them completely erased the part of their form, ending up one of them dying. The two badly injured wolves conjoined with the dead corpse to become one larger wolf, snarling and charging the pack leader.

It was quiet and and she could not see anybody in the EpiCenter, but she could feel the precence of at least 20 vampires in the large building. She felt a lady she knew, who mastered magic and hopefully could heal her wound.

Nezera found her sitting in a corner, meditating. She didn't want to disturb, but she was in a hurry and wanted help as fast as possible.

"Hello Marja" she said and sat down.

"Nezera." Marja whispered without opening her eyes. "We havn't seen you here for a long time."

"I've been out. Hunting, running, watching werewolfs and pissing of dragons, you know."

"Sigh. I know. You really shouldn't associate with werewolfs. Or pissing of dragons. Just look at you, who did that?"

"I have no idea, but it was the biggest dragon I've ever seen. It was huge. And it sneaked up on me in hyperbreed form." Marja opened her eyes.

"Did The First attack you?! What did you do?"

"Well, I killed some humans. What do you mean "The First"?"

"The First Dragon, Thrashnald. And he shoudn't have to attack you for that, but let me take care of that wound now." She put her hand on the wound and closed her eyes. She didn't say anything, but Nezera heard the magic words ringing in her head.

It took a while, but finally Marja took her hands away and opened her eyes once again. She looked at the wound, it was still there, but it was better and it didn't hurt anymore.

"Put a bandage on that, will you?" Marja whispered in her head and started meditating again.

"I will."

Duragon was in awe of the destruction that was taking place before him and smirked as he watched the she-dragon fight against The Old One, he had forgotten the true name ages ago, but it seemed like a good fight and he wasn't too eager to get in the middle of something that didn't concern him, especially since she seemed to be capable and holding her own. Shadowscales were a dying breed after all so if the fight became too one-sided he may decide to intervene, but then again, who doesn't want to be the last of their kind. He smirked at the thought and then looked to big ass wolf that seemed to have been formed by two injured and a dead one. I guess I can go stomp that thing out...no use in it have all the fun he thought as he sprang from the roof, changing into dragon form and firing like a bullet toward the monstrosity, firing a streamline of fire at the beast with the full intention of crushing it with his massive body if that didn't do the job.

Garentius

Garentius did not enter the fray of the growing battle that he heard. His godly hearing was more than enough to detect the intricacies of the brawl between what seemed to be werewolves and dragon kin. Garentius was in no place to challenge more than one dragon, though he could quite easily challenge a lone dragon that underestimated him. Garentius's ability to regenerate was not his trump card as his captors had thought, it was his ability to adapt. It was quite the novel ability, as Garentius was able to restructure his body and gain resistance to all manner of hostilities.

Garentius was the perfect sword, one that cut down with no second thought and one that never lost its edge. Perhaps this adaptive quality of Garentius was the reason why he had retained such youth after almost fifty years.

Though Garentius was a splendid specimen of war, he instinctively understood that he was outmatched in this fight. Garentius had come a long way since his mindldss years as a captive, and the risk reward system of logical thought had developed within him as well as a refined sense of analyzing situations. Logos had definitely flourished within Garentius, and had bestowed upon him the foundation of higher thinking.

However, Garentius still had a logical driver of action that was innately illogical. Bloodthirsty and unquenchable rage did not induc the best of thought, and lately as Garentius developed his mind more and more, it seemed that he was often clashing with his nature.

Garentius had the burning desire to rush into the fray and wreack havoc upon all that he saw, yet the chains known as thought held him back.

However, tonight was the night where nature won. It had been many years since Garentius felt the satisfaction of warm blood caking his fangs, and with such a great opportunity before him, Garentius tore his shackles of logic.

Letting out a bloodcurdling roar so filled with unbridled killing intent that it would freeze all those that would hear it, Garentius began to rush towards the source of battle, his massive twenty foot frame rippling with excitement.

((I'm so sorry guys I was away all day unable to respond. If I mess up somewhere please let me know!))

Suiren drank from the river and eventually curled up to rest hidden by the forest. However it was not long till she heard the thunderous sound of battle. No ordinary battle of men either, it was most certainly a battle between dragons. She quickly took to the skies, her white shining body standing out against the sky. She eventually approached the chaos. Her heart sank at the sight. Dragons battling dragons, wolves down below standing no chance against the large fierce beasts. She could only stay in sky and watch in terror.

Lucas watched as the battle grew around him, things were getting more intense than he ever could have dreamed. He looked at Caraline, "We've gotta get out of here now!" He barked to her, he then suddenly heard a bloodcurdling roar. "Ok yeah, time to go!" He barked again.

Christbella barked in agreement with Lucas, turning back towards the forest. Her ears were shot back though one stood up straight as she noticed the large dragons above starting to fight once more, she shook her head and nudged Caraline towards the forest,"If we don't get out of here were going to get killed!" She barked, ears lowered at the thought of being killed. In her opinion, three werewolves couldn't take down a large dragon, or even more as they arrived.

Duragon crashed into the weird conjoined giant wolf and as he body landed on it with a loud crash, he returned to human form. He was now standing in the middle of a large crater on top of what he assumed was the remainder of whatever that abomination was, and he looked back over his shoulder chuckling at the she-dragon being harassed by The Old One. He looked in the direction the beast was going and figured that he'd go pay the wolves a visit...why not see what they were up to? It wasn't like he really cared for the battling dragons anyway, not his fight nor his concern at the moment. He remained in human form and dashed off in the direction the wolves took hoping that he'd catch up to them. Figured he might as well have some fun that didn't involve fighting the Origin Dragon or having to revert to that beastly form, he really wasn't in the mood for that.

Suiren could no longer stand the sight of the battle, "Please I beg of you stop! We are one in the same, we should not be fighting one another!" She stayed up in the sky, she wouldn't get closer till it was necessary for her to intervene. She couldn't bare to see her own kind fighting one another. A she dragon, and an elder dragon. The fierce presence of them both shaking her to her core.

((Sorry, had something up))

Cari smiled wickedly at the fight, feeling her repressed emotions boiling up. "You two leave," she shifted and nodded to the two young Wolves. "But this Alpha has to do something," her voice towards the end became guttural. She snarled, her Half form taking over. After the intense shifting of bones ceased, she let out a deep roar and launched herself onto the rooftops. Caraline's teeth snapped together and she leapt the remaining distance, letting out a war-howl and pounced upon the body of the hovering blue Dragon, claws digging past the scales and into flesh.

"Caraline wait!" Lucas howled, but was unlucky. He looked to Chris and whimperd "What do we do? We can't leave her here she could get killed!" His ears tucked back. He didn't know what to do. They couldn't stay that he was sure of. They'd be massacred if they did, but he couldn't just leave Caraline either.

"I don't-" Before she could finish her sentence, the alpha had already jumped to the rooft tops. Christabella sighed and shook her head, looking at the alpha as it dug it's claws into the blue dragon. She wasn't sure whether she should help the alpha, or bolt. She shook her head, looking at Lucas. "I don't know, knowing Caraline in her alpha form, she is pretty powerful. I think she'll be okay, after all we aren't as strong as her in her alpha form." She barked to him.

Duragon had just seen a wolf, which he guessed had to be the Alpha, attack the third dragon that he hadn't even noticed. He stopped as the other two came within his view. "Hey there! Your Alpha seems to be begging for her death..." he casually walked toward them, "So what are you two going to do while your Alpha is locked in mortal combat?" he placed his hands in his pockets. He was a little surprised they hadn't all three tried to gang up on the dragon, which made more sense to him.

Caraline turned her big Wolf head to the two waiting below. She laid her ears back, snarling at the sight of another Dragon but in human form, walking up to the pups. She roared and leapt off of the Dragon, the thing not fighting back. She landed on her feet and stood tall behind the Dragon. She snarled loudly, eyes glowing. "Step. Away," she spat, curling her bloody claws.

Suiren screached in pain as the wolf, an Alpha by the looks of it jumped at her and clawed deep into her flesh. She had to show this wolf she meant no harm! She fell from the sky and hit the ground, her body wounded and bleeding. She quickly transformed into naked human form. The would taking up a large portion of her side. "Please!" She screamed at the alpha throwing her hands up in a defensive manner. "Please I mean you no harm I wish to stop this fight not take part in it!' She yelled hoping that this Alpha could understand her words. Tears filled her eyes, this fighting, this bloodshed. It broke her heart.
Lucas whimpered and stepped back unsure what to do. This was chaos, and it wasn't what he prepared for at all. "Caraline!" He whimpered. "Let's just get out of here. It's there fight not ours!" He looked to the dragon, in human form he didn't seem to mean any harm.

Duragon stopped moving once he felt the Alpha behind him. He raised his brow as he stood still. "Not really in the mood for an all-out brawl, so I advise you bring it down a notch," he said in an even tone, "Know your place, wolf!" this time his voice was almost thunderous as a haze of heat began to rise off his body. He really didn't want to fight, but if this Slpha was going to start then he was going to have to teach her a lesson, while remaining in human form...dragon form was just too serious for something like this.

Cari saw the Dragon fall from the sky out of the corner of her eye. She grunted inwardly, knowing she might have to go help the poor thing after this was all done. But for now, her main priority was protecting the younger Wolves from this seemingly casual man. Caraline looked to the now human Lucas and snarled louder. She couldn't have him defenseless. And of course this was their fight. She laughed at his shout, leaning close. "I am Alpha. I know place. Do you?" her sentences short due to the lost ability to speak normally.

Christbella nodded, standing beside Lucas. This wasn't their fight, and she didn't want it to be. She noticed the dragon shape shift into a human before them, her head tilting to the side. She let her ears fall back as she watched her alpha step behind the dragon man and tell him to back away. She looked at Caraline, then at Lucas. Then she heard the dragon seem to roar at the alpha, the alpha coming with a quick comeback. She shook her head and stood beside Lucas, watching the two.

Caraline was itching for a fight; whether she won or lost didn't matter. She needed to take out Vampires and that bigger Vampire let her get away. This one could be working with that bigger one for all she knew so, yes, she was going to fight it. It was a Rogue, wasn't it? She brought Rogue's down, not wanting them to endanger their own territory. "Go now, Wolves. Be safe," she snapped her teeth together.

Duragon, still with his back to Alpha slowly turned to face her. "Not a bad look you got there...no reason to get your fur in a bunch." he looked up at the Alpha. "I simply came out to see what was going on...there's dragons fighting dragons and scurrying wolves all about, I just figured I'd get a closer look...after I squashed some weird 3 wolves become 1 thing back there." heat still rising off his body. "I'm a dragon," he looked passed the Alpha to the dragon she had brought down, "and unlike that poor excuse of dragon that you easily bested, I won't be as easy nor will I let you walk away from this fight without taking something from you...so what do you want do?" he smirked

Garentius

Garentius was body slammed by the imposing dragon with tremendous force. As Garentius's body slammed against the pavement, the force beneath the attack exploded behind Garentius, rippling and uprooting the ground around in a circular area. Garentius felt his left rib cage shatter into countesses shards as his spine caved in.

Blood spouted from Garentius's mouth, slowly leaking from his gaping jowls as they splattered onto the pavement beneath him.

The entire experience was.....

Refreshing.

It had been so long since such damage was inflicted to Garentius, and Garentius loved every inch of the damage inflicted upon his sturdy body. It was all so wonderful being challenged.

Garentius felt no pain, it could only be called pure excitement. Jolts of excitement buzzed throughout Garentius, numbing his body and his mind. He wanted to tear, to kill, to sever, to mutilate all so badly.

Sensing Garentius's will, his body began to rapidly ripple as the tissue and musculature around his wounds began to morph and grow, regenerating and reforming. The countles sshards of shattered spine and rib inside Garentius's body were pushed back into their natural places automatically with temporarily evolved blood cells, reforming the structure of Garentius's skeleton. From there, his bones were bound and glazed over with regenerative tissue, healing them at a near instant.

Garentius had suffered immense physical damage, and he instinctively knew this. It was pure force that had ravaged him, and in response to this understanding, Garentius's body began to....

Change.

His skin first became coated in a translucent liquid which promptly hardened, forming a thin layer of strange organic tissue around Garentius's entire body. This layer then began to rapidly turn into a globular matter which then formed into the shape of plates of armor around Garentius's entire body. The matter then hardened once again and began to become opaque as it extracted tissue and cells to replicate from Garentius's body to become a part of him. This was evolution in action, and at a rate which made it a practical use in battle.

In just eight seconds, Garentius stood with almost no injury, with a thick layer of plaited and hardened skin guarding him. It appeared as if he had been suited in armor, and indeed his skin shone with a near metallic glow as it had donned the structure of metals to mimic strength.

The dragon had turned his attention away from Garentius, apparently conversing with werewolf kind. It did not matter who or what it was, if something came into Garentius's way, he would enjoy feeling their blood warm his cold throat.

Assuming a coaching posture, Garentius ejected himself from the ground with his powerful legs, soaring across the air before crashing into the dragon in his human form's neck and attempting a strangle hold with his massive brawn and immense physical strength.

Cari was about to snap at the damn thing but caught sight of the other Wolf. She snarled but not out of rage. It was more of an 'oh shit' kind of snarl. She looked to the Dragon with a smile. "Wolf strong. You think you tough enough to take from him?" she laughed thickly at her own joke. "This my territory, Dragon. You don't take from me. I don't take from you. I protect the pups. I fight, if you fight them," she stood straighter. "I kill only Vampires. That may not be you. But that me. So 'what do you want do'?" she used his own words against him.

Duragon was about to say something smart back to the wolf when he was suddenly tackled and sent rolling across the ground. "What the he-," his words were cut short as an arm slipped under his neck and began to tighten. He found himself in a stranglehold, and instinctively tried to pry himself loose, but to no avail. He thought perhaps he could crush the arm of his assailant then, but as he gripped the arm he felt hardened armor, perhaps scales even. Just what the hell is this thing? he thought to himself as he attempted to swing himself free. This thing was not only massive but it was extremely strong as well, and under the situation there was only one way to get out of this. He quickly changed to his Dragon form, feeling the arms break from around his neck, and peering down at his assailant, he was now looking at a different form of the wolf he thought he crushed earlier, and once he identified who his attacker was, he rained a stream of fire down upon him while returning to human form, rubbing his neck. Well that was unexpected...what the hell is this thing?
