You should probably run.

It started in the most cliché way possible; reports of a viral disease outbreak spreading through larger towns, the general public informed to remain indoors until the CDC can get a handle on the infection, and of course, the mass hysteria that followed. It is often argued that Fear is what keeps a person alive, causing their brains to alert to the situation and dodge if needed. But fear is often accompanied by panic and panicking can lead to stupid decisions that often ends in death. In the very beginning, a majority of the population had been wiped out by the initial shock of what was occurring and the silly choices that many decided would prolong their survival.


In the end, it had been the wise ones that fled to the outskirts of towns, into more rural area's that survived. After the first few nights of the outbreak, the Government quickly realized that the disease would not be tamed in time and turned to their next, and possibly the only option: bombing the largest towns to wipe out the infected, and sadly killing the clean as well. Despite their actions, the disease still spread quicker than they anticipated. In a span of a year, seventy-five percent of the population was wiped out. Forced into the mindless state of flesh eating creatures. After two years, no civilization was left and many decided to survive on their own.


It's been two and a half years since the downfall of humanity. How will you survive?

  Oliver is generally a very calm and collected person. He's characterized as cold or distant to those that he doesn't know very well. In the previous world, he was more outgoing and social, but since the downfall of humanity, he's made it his life goal to protect his sibling, even if it meant with his life. He's the type that would rather observe than initiate the conversation. Since the death of his brother, he casually doesn't trust outsiders anymore.
  
  History:
  
  Oliver lived in Tallahassee, Florida, when the outbreak began. His family: consisting of him; his parents; his twin brother, Oscar; a younger brother, Chandler; and a smaller sister, Sarrah, lived in a remote home that fit his fathers budget as a broker. When the news faintly began to report frequent deaths from a disease spreading through larger cities, his father had thought it to be wise to evacuate from the city to visit their grandparents in a small town in central Georgia until the CDC were able to bring a cure to the disease. He had said it would narrow their chances of contracting the disease and running out of supplies. Oliver is sure that he owes his life to the quick thinking of the man, as the city was quickly ravaged and bombed a weeks time after they left.
  
  
  On their way to their grandparents, they were attacked by people, which lead to the death of his father. Oliver managed to shoot one of the aggressors and escape with his three siblings and mother. His youngest sibling, Sarrah, however, fell ill from an infection caused by a bite from an attacker and died in her mother's arms a few days later. They never anticipated her returning to life and murdering her mother and leaving a mark on his twin brother when he jumped to put her down.
  
  
  Oliver isn't very fond of speaking about any of them and rather die than watching his remaining sibling get bit.

  Chandler was always naturally bright. He excelled in school more than any of the other Alcott siblings and took a natural interest in life. His father had always told him that he would be the one to invent something that would change the world. Sadly, he never got the chance too. After witnessing his families death, Chandler was terrified and latched onto Oliver as a safety. Oliver is the only family that he has left and he cares deeply for him. The teen is optimistic, often making positive comments to cheer up Oliver's negativity about the situations, and can be quite talkative.

Appearance

Personality: Al is a kind man who will help those in need. Al is loyal to his friends and will die to protect them. He can be seen as a fatherly figure to those who gets to know him. Al isn't a man who provokes conflict and will usually try to find a alternate solution when dealing with other humans.


History: Al was part of the military when the infection started trying to contain it and put a stop to it, but left when things got to suicidal levels. He kept his military equipment and headed to his home in California only to find his wife and children dead. Al is currently roaming around helping people and trying to survive.


Weapons: AK 47, 9mm Beretta, combat knife, and a few grenades.
