I'm going to try (keyword being 'try') to shuffle the wagon group closer to Glewick City so WlfSamurai WlfSamurai and Wackadoodle0987 Wackadoodle0987 don't have to drag things out longer than necessary. I'm also so sorry Wackadoodle0987 Wackadoodle0987 that you've been hanging around and waiting for us. We're getting there! I can't wait to finally meet the vampire sisters! :' )

Yup, I'm fine. :D Still, it'll be fun (or funny) when we all meet up again under such pleasurable circumstances.

EDIT :: ... I meant pleasant... not pleasurable. >.< Well, I mean... they could be pleasurable if certain characters are that way inclined; but that's not what I had in mind. :dead:

So, I was writing down ideas earlier, and little snippets of dialogue that I may use in the future (I create potential scenarios so that I'm not always just responding to the last person that posted, and it encourages me to incorporate personalised scenes) and realised that there's an issue I have to address.

While we're still early in the RP and our characters don't know each other well, pretty much all you see of Amelie and Anna is their outer layer (Amelie's playful sarcasm, and Anna's stern indifference) and I wanted to avoid setting in stone this kind of stereotypical, 2-D pairing ... so from here on I'm going to try and fit in more open dialogue between the sisters, so that even if all your characters see (until they know each other better) is their outer shell, you guys at least can understand them better.

Wackadoodle0987 Wackadoodle0987 OMG I do the exact same thing! It’s so encouraging to know that I’m not the only one who writes notes and personalised information/scenes about the characters!

I agree with you that the role-play is “surface reading” right now, but as you already mentioned, it can be attributed to the fact that we’re still in the early stages of the game and haven’t had an opportunity to involve meaningful interactions between characters outside of the current plot. We will get there!

Cassie right now, Ronan Ronan

Man. I was working on a few posts last night and somehow the site stopped working. It was very strange.

So, Ronan Ronan , Aimless Vagabond Aimless Vagabond , Epiphany Epiphany , I want to make sure I understand. You're bringing all the wagons into Glewick with you? And then, frakncheese frakncheese and ShadTheWerepire ShadTheWerepire , you're going with them?

I'm letting frakncheese frakncheese decide our fate. It sounds like those people going into Glewick might need our help, but Cal might want to help with this sleeping potion stuff.

From an IC perspective, Cassie's not staying behind. There's an evil in Glewick City, an evil that works through magic, and she's the only one in the group she knows of that uses magic. This is a no-brainer for her.

From an OOC perspective, creating a sleeping drought is something that'd occupy maybe half an hour, and is not worth passing up epic adventure for. I also have no intention of having my character stuck with two PCs who have never posted as long as I've been in play (no offense intended, given their IC posts were excellent).

We were three different groups now thankfully split down to two. I don't want to go back to three if it's at all possible; it splits the game runner's focus, it slows the game's pace and it gives each character less to react and act with. The smart thing is to ask Cal to be our 'guide' and move the active group on into the city together, leaving the NPCs and inactive PCs with the wagons where they can administer the sleeping potion and...sit around waiting.

Teh Frixz Teh Frixz says they're still in, but doesn't know where to jump in. If still lurking, now would be a good time - an IC post discussing how you'd like to approach what's happening in the city etc.
PJ-Flash PJ-Flash I think is having hardware issues. We don't know if and when they'll be back.

Elsewise, sorry Ash but from an OOC perspective it is healthier to have the party remain together - even if it makes a bit more sense IC-wise to have them separate for a short while. I'd use the 'safety in numbers' excuse, while assuming that most, if not all, of Glewick is 'gone' and your intent is to find the source of the issue and help anyone if you come across them (rather than the active goal of finding people to help). This way we are all headed in one theoretical direction.

Wackadoodle0987 Wackadoodle0987 good point. I'll alter my IC post since it was all written assuming the other two were active and able to post.

edit: fixed it! Let me know if it's better now and if I should add additional changes! The goal is to eventually get everyone together and to finish this chapter (I'm tired of typing Glewick City skjdsa).

Yeah, I was going to kind of bring that up. Felt like a separation when we're working to get everyone together. I definitely want Epiphany Epiphany along with the group.

Thanks for editing, Ronan Ronan . I'll read over the change this evening.

And yes. Let's get Glewick moved along and finished. I'll find some ways to shoo it forward. I think the point has been driven home that shit's going down and nothing's easy in this world. Check that off.

So I just read the edit, Ronan Ronan . Maybe I got to it late in the day, but it looks the same. Ash is still telling Cassie to stay with the caravan. Did I miss something? Did I miss the changes?

I actually took out a couple sentences. It was supposed to help Cassie, Calliope, and Shae along- which it did from the new responses I see. Yay! :D
