Papyrus frowned.


"DON'T KNOW. I READ A BOOK ALL ABOUT MAKING IT SO YOU NEVER EVEN LOSE HP IN BATTLE." He smiled at his brother. "I'M SURE I CAN FIND IT WHEN WE GO HOME!"

"Thanks pappy!" He smiled happily.


"Then we can sign up for school tomorrow!" He smiled happily and hugged his brother.

"R-RIGHT... SCHOOL! IT SHOULD BE FUN!" He smiled at his brother, even though he was a bit nervous. Gaster had always homeschooled him, Papyrus didn't know what it was like at a school. "WHERE IS SCHOOL, SANS?"

"I think it's in hotlands. But we'll be okay!" He smiled.


He knew dad homeschooled them,but it couldn't be helped. They needed schooling now and dad wasn't here now.

"O-OKAY!" He smiled and hugged his brother. "LET'S GO AND SIGN UP FOR SCHOOL." He would be happy if his brother was happy. Maybe he would even make a friend!

Sans held pappy close.


"Paps,we sign up later....im kinda sleepy and schools going on right now."


He felt sleep finally returning to him. He rubbed his tiny sockets.

"OH. WELL THEN LATER WE SIGN UP FOR SCHOOL!" He looked at his sleepy brother. "WOULD YOU LIKE ME TO CARRY YOU HOME?"

He yawned and nodded,holding his arms out for papyrus to pick him up. He loved his brother,he was always willing to do anything for him.


"I hope we get the same class...then we could play together and talk in class."

Papyrus wrote a note for the nice doctor, telling him that they were leaving, then picked up his brother and left the house. He surrounded himself and his brother with his blue bone attack for protection. Soon they had made it back to their home, Papyrus carried his brother inside and locked the door behind him.

Sans had fallen asleep on the way there. Papyrus could hear him breathing softly,he seemed to be fully asleep. He kept a hold on papyrus,seeming comfortable and secure in his arms. He flinched when he heard the click on the lock,but slowly relaxed again,knowing he was still safe with papyrus.

Papyrus carried his brother to bed and gently laid him down. He smiled at his sleeping brother and rubbed his back. Papyrus wasn't sure what school would be like, or what would happen there, but he was more than ready and willing to protect his brother! He gave his brother a kiss.

Sans smiled in his sleep. His soul emitting a soft blue glow. Sans began to dream about him and papyrus going to school.

Papyrus kissed all over his brother's skull as he slept. He smiled at Sans, he was so cute when he was asleep! He tried to read by Sans's soul light.

Sans shifted in his sleep. He stayed next to papyrus the entire time. His soul seemed to be happy and peaceful for once. He kept a tight hold on papyrus,his soul interacting with his brother's to produce an orange glow.

Papyrus felt his soul reaching for Sans before he saw it. He felt very warm and calm and leaned against his brother. Their souls were very close to each other and the both began to glow orange. Papyrus grinned and kept soothing his brother while he slept with kisses amd snuggling.

Sans was smiling more in his sleep. His soul glowing brighter and he managed a small giggle as papyrus kept soothing him with hugs and kisses. Sans slept for a couple hours and soon woke.

Papyrus grinned wider when his brother woke. He had slept for so long without a single nightmare! Papyrus was super proud of his brother!


"DID YOU HAVE A NICE REST, SANS? I GAVE YOU LOTS OF LOVE AND KISSES TO HELP YOU SLEEP!" He giggled. "I THINK OUR SOULS LIKE EACH OTHER!" He pointed to their shared glow.

Sans yawned and stretched out on thebed. He felt more refreshed than before.


"I could feel it pappy" he smiled and looked at their souls.


He looked.amazed at the glow.


"It's so cool paps..." he said in awe and watched the shares glow.


"Paps! We have to sign up for school!" He told him excitedly.

Papyrus smiled at his brother's enthusiasm and nodded.


"YES!" He held his brother's hand and got out of their bed. "BUT FIRST I WANT SOMETHING TO EAT. WE HAVEN'T EATEN SINCE..." He thought back to when their dad had made them breakfast. It had been a couple of days and the boys hadn't eaten anything. "SINCE THEN."

" i can't cook pappy." Sans frowned and began to feel slightly famished at the mention of food.


Sans was hungry,but he also knew papyrus was too.


"We could ask that nice bunny lady near the sign for some cinnibunnies!" He pointed out,smiling.

"YEAH!!" His soul shone at the thought of the yummy treats! He smiled and adjusted his scarf and hat "THEN WE CAN GO HAVE FUN AT SCHOOL!"

Sans put on his own scarf and nodded.


"Yeah!" He said happily and took his brothers hand as he rushed outside into the snow. He ran past the old christmas tree and all the way to the snowdin sign. Sans ran inside and they could smell the yummy treats.

Papyrus followed his brother and lifted him onto his back so he could order for them both. His soul was shining like nothing else.


"THERE YOU GO SANS! GET US SOME YUMMY TREATS!"

"2 cinnabunnies please." He asked,his voice full of happiness,she looked at them curiously.


"Where's your father?" She frowned,surprised to see them here alone.


Usually Gaster would come with them and pay for the treats.

At the mention of their dad, Papyrus sniffled. His soul immediately faded away.


"D-DAD'S NOT HERE RIGHT NOW, SO WE HAVE TO DO THINGS OURSELVES FOR A WHILE."
