But you miss out on the emotions that accompany a full and intuitive understanding of the language your listening in. The hand crusher joke? So good in the dub, but I couldn't get myself in the sub. And in the Stain fight,when Iida tells the others to run, and he can't watch? Fucking destroyed me.

OOOOO. Tsurezure Children, if you don't know it's a slice of life anthology of sorts, and its episodes are half length at 12 minutes each. The delivery of each and every joke is incredible.

Kekkai Sensen (Blood Blockade Battlefront), The main character is sold really well as a fish out of water and super awkward, thanks to the amazing efforts of Aaron Dismuke.

Those are just two off the top of my head, I'd have to look at my list to remember what the fuck I've watched. Having not watched any anime for upwards of a year, except My Hero.

I can't wait though, when Nikkolaüs ends up losing it too. I'm sure you guys haven't missed the allusions to His biggest character flaw: his own ambition. Being a driving force in his life that's also a toxin to him, as he often forgoes self-care in order to get work done. His obsession of trying to be better than people with quirks is slowly killing him, and he's most definitely going to turn into a fucking mess the further he goes into trying to win this support competition.

I wish Amie could give him all the soft love and affection he deserves 😭😭 We need to do a sleepover episode so Amie can do face masks with everyone because that's the type of wholesome I love.

It would also be interesting to see Nik interact with Red Web. Jet would 100% hold him responsible for all the stupid things he keeps doing, and he'd aggressively assert himself into Nik's life to make sure he's taking care of himself.
 
You know, he's probably going to get attacked by one of the bigger villains 🤔 When he's right there on the verge of collapse. Either on his way home or out doing things. The villains could easily take advantage of that. Could be another way to bring the whole group together. To save him~
 
I think it would be a sensitive moment for him. If they do rescue him. "I don't need to be saved. I don't need a quirk to be powerful. I didn't ask for your help."

But he could also just collapse and certain people visit him in the hospital? Whoever he grows close to. Like the twins. It could be a sweet worrying moment 💖 I dunno, I just like thinking about how different situations can turn out. Ultimately its your character and you decide how his breakdown will happen ☺
 
He has a few add-ons to his suit. Like overcoats? Best parallel I can make is Iron Man's Hulkbuster armour. One of them lets him make plasma shields of sorts. Not the super pristine clean-edged ones you see in other media, but like a super messy violet and pink fire. I can imagine an instance in which he'd swoop in last second and make a fat one in front of the group. Honestly, saving the day and getting your ass kicked are two sides of the same coin when it comes to great methods of character development.
