Speaking of this RP's source material, how far along is everyone into the canon? I've recently finished the anime and currently rewatching it (EDIT: The WHOLE anime, from the first episode) but dubbed with my family. I don't want to get into the mangga; I just want to experience the action in an anime medium.

I read up on all the mangga parts I've already watched though, but not up until season 4 of the anime.

I forgot he did Alphonse. I recognize him as Leonardo (Kekkai Sensen), and Oscar (RWBY, not that I watch it anymore). Though, he's not nearly as good as Yuri Lowenthal: I can't wait to see who he plays in MHA.

F--what? Deadass? You should watch some of Funimation's more recent dubs, they really picked this shit up. Tsurezure Children was golden.

I just don't like it. Its not that I don't think the dub is good, I just have a big sense that I'm missing out on the original meaning of things when I watch dub. They can fully explain the meaning of stuff in sub without a hard time limit.

I think that largely depends on the source material itself. Some things translate really well while others just don't. Like have any of y'all seen The Platform on Netflix?

For the love of god watch it in Spanish (the original language) with subtitles on. I skimmed the English dub so I could recommend it to people that aren't used to dubs and... it's not good. It loses all the nuance the original transcript has.
