Greirat The Thief
En guarde, you crusty ash bastard!
Jun stood there as she clapped, a small smile still on his face. He felt much warmer now, even though his body was still shivering. He nodded to her, as she replied to heading deeper into the woods. What happened next hit a nerve in Jun. She bowed amd stayed there, expressing her sorrow for her uncle's actions and mood.
Jun folded his arms and gave her a cold stare. He didn't reply for a few minutes. But when he did, his voice was stern, hinting with anger.
"Get up. Don't ever do that again." Jun paused for a moment, the anger his voice fadded as he spoke next, "Our Nations will always be enemies. Regardless of peace or war. That is something that will never change." Jun turned away from Emily and sighed sadly. He looked down at the snow at his feet.
"Look. Emily. Two years ago, my dad kicked me out of the house, burning the place down in the process. All because I failed a bending test, using the technique you just saw. Five days after that, is when I learned that the Fire Nation had first attacked the Air Nomads. About a year later, they did it again.
"I travelled north, as far away as I could get from the Fire Nation. Why do you think I ended up here?" he said looking into the dark forest. He sucked in the cold air and watched his breath as he exhaled. The firebender rubbed the back of his neck.
"Ah, look. Can we talk about this later? When we have time to kill?" he asked, turning to face Emily again.
