Fandom Avatar The Last Airbender: Black Flames

"Okay thank you" Ryan resumed his quick paced row. He looked over his shoulder and could see the land he was supposed to be at, "Just need tea...only tea. Okay uncle" The teen mumbled maintaining his quick pace. His uncle never really taught him about introductions and what not since Ryan has never been introduced to anyone or vice versa. They basically conversed about manners, fighting, philosophies, scrolls, and other news that reached them through his uncle's friend in the from the Earth Kingdom.

Anana leaves the tavern, letting Cupun deal with getting a room. She would deal with getting food. As she walks through the villiage, she comes across an od man shouting at a little boy over spilled water. Quickly, she rights the ontainer and bends the water back into it. "There you go!" She says with a smile, already distracted by the smell of cooking meat and vegetables.

Nanami smiled and started rowing. She dropped her oars in the boat and bend her way there. She past him and smiled, speeding ahead. She loved doing this kind of thing.

Ryan thought that he had might as well review the stuff he heard about the Earth Kingdom. He knew that there were heavy guards, walls, good tea.....that was about all he knew. Thoughts ran through his mind and he recalled a concept that there was a royal family in the Fire Nation, Water Tribes, and Earth Kingdom. Suddenly a figure passed the side of his eye. Ryan looked up to see it had been the stranger he had bumped into before. What was she doing? He just kept rowing at his quick pace then eventually hit land. Ryan got out of the boat and tied it to a post.

Nanami looked at him as she got out of her boat and tied it up. She got out onto land and looked at him. She smiled. "If we were racing, I won." She said, happiness spread across her face. 'Now that's what I left home for.' She thought, still looking at him. "Oh yeah, never really introduced myself, name's Nanami." She said.

Ryan looked at the person. What was racing? He thought for a while then was able to recall some topics regarding racing wagons in the Earth Kingdom. Ryan responded, "Oh okay. You win then". The teen raised one of his eyebrows (again new to the introductions) then responded, "My name is Ryan". A scent caught his attention as he quickly turned around. Was that roast duck? Usually Ryan was only able to eat fruits, vegetable, nuts, and occasionally seafood at the Eastern Air Temple. His stomach grumbled and his hand flew to rub it a little. He only ate roasted duck once a year, yet his uncle still wondered how Ryan had been able to form muscle with not much meat.

Nanami smiled. "Guess your hungry. Why don't we go grab something to eat." She said, recalling the last time she had eaten. She had eaten two days ago and quite frankly, was in the mood for meat. That's all they had at home, fish. Then again, she did live on an ice berg, but she had left the life of Nanami as a royal princess. Now she was just Nanami.

Ryan looked at Nanami then nodded. He dashed pass some people and bumped into a few...which was inevitable due to the crowded ambience. The teen stopped in the middle and looked lost. It was his first time to see more than two people at the same time, and they were all around him. He became overwhelmed and had no clue what to do.

Nanami followed the crazed teen, standing next to him. She sniffed the air and smelled meat to her right. She opened her eyes and grabbed his hand, dragging him towards the smell of meat. "Meat." She mumbled, running a bit faster to get there as soon as possible.

Anana was passing a few coins over to the cook in return for a roasted duck, and two platypus bear steaks. She'd never had platypus bear before, and was looking foreward to trying it. Just as she was about to head back to the tavern, she saw the princess of the northern water tribe with some random Earth Kingdom boy. "Princess Nanami?" She asks the girl, wondering if she would be remembered. She might, as her brother was a firebender, as was her mother.

Nanami stopped in her tracks. She looked at the duck vendor with horror in her eyes. "Crap." She said, grabbing his hand again. "Run!" She said, running for the high hills. She was spotted! She tugged her hood over her face and kept running.

Ryan's mind snapped when he suddenly recalled his "quest" for his uncle's tea; however, before he could speak or do anything else, he noticed someone grab his hand and start dragging him. "Aoi! Woah!" He looked to find the same stranger he had conversed with a few moments ago. His eyes shifted to another voice saying Nanami's name. By the time Ryan looked back at Nanami running even faster. He slipped his hand away and questioned, "Wait why?" Ryan stopped running.

Nanami looked behind her. She would have to find her later and ask her not to tell her parents if she did see her. For now, she just had to run and cross her fingers.

Aram quickly struck a rock towards her master and missed almost hitting a home. "Your getting reckless. Calm down." He said forcefully. She gripped her hands and gritted her teeth. "I know. Im sorry master." She said before trying to calm herself. She quickly shifted stances and began attack again.

Nanami stopped when he stopped. She grabbed his hand. "I will explain when I find somewhere safe." She said

Anana had followed them. "Why are you running, Princess? Would you two like some platypus bear?" She offers up one of the steaks to Nanami and her peasant boy. "I'm Anana, by the way."

"The person isn't scary. She won't hurt you" Ryan said looking back at the other stranger who called Nanami's name with an added Princess title to it. "Is she not your friend? She seems to know you" Ryan gestured back at the other stranger. Suddenly he smelled the meat and his eyes widened, "What is that? Platypus bear? What is a platypus bear?"

Nanami grabbed her hand and dragged her into an alleyway. She sighed and looked at them both. "Hello Anana, yes, my name is Princess Nanami of the Northern Lands. Please don't tell anyone." She begged.
She looked at Anana. "If my parents figure out where I am they will drag me back home." She said. Please I beg off you.

"Platypus bear is a big bear with a platypus bill and tail. Platypus bear. I think the meat is good. I haven't tried." She says to Ryan, giving him one of the steaks. "Did you run away, Princess? Would you like to stay with my brother and I?"

Nanami looked at her. "I don't know. I have been kind of floating around and I don't want to burden you." She said.

"Hi Anana" Ryan managed to say while he was being dragged...again. He looked at Nanami. Princess? So she was one of the royal people from North..what lands are in the north? He remembered the map then thought of the Northern Water Tribe. Ryan snapped back into reality and nodded his head at Nanami.

His uncle had never really emphasized much on the royal families, especially the fire one. Ryan only knew that there were royal families. Period.

Nanami sighed. "I don't know. It's just that I have been hiding for 6 months. I knew this was going to happen." She said, burying her head in her hands.

Kai had been wandering the cities for days now...in search of what no one knows exactly, people had no clue who he was and he liked it that way, no one had questioned him, asked of his tattoo, nothing...it was great..he felt like finally he was done dealing with people. Kai wandered around Ba Sing Se for a while, he had nothing really to do, he owned a home there and worked at a shop nearby where he decided to go work for the evening, he had been gone for weeks now so the shop owner was probably really angry at him, seemed everyone was these days, he just seemed to be a unlikable guy...after most learned about who he was. Kai sat down at the shop and talked with the owner for a bit, he worked a simple fruit stand, very amazing kinds of fruit but just that, plus he worked as a blacksmith..hey he had to get money, he was poor and could barley keep his home..this sucked for him, he watched people walk by looking glum as normal..
