It’s been 30 years since avatar Korra died, and a new avatar appeared 5 years ago. He had been hiding from the red lotus, but when the last lotus member was caught and put in prison, he came out of hiding and now he lives on airbender island outside Republic City.
But a group known as the Yellow Lotus, in the middle between the white lotus and the red lotus. They fight the avatar and his growing band of followers, because they know the truth, he is not the avatar.
He has a group of benders that are around him all the time, they have mastered bending with their mind, a technique Korra taught them. They are the final members of the red lotus, and their plan is to lure the real avatar out.
But the yellow lotus consist of both benders and none benders, and they reside in the pro-bending arena. They are disguised as pro-benders, but really it is a way for them to train for the upcoming battle. The only thing they hope is that they will have enough time to unmask this guy before the real avatar reveals themselves.
