PLOT--SETTING

200_s.gif

Three decades had passed since the last titan invasion. Thirty years of grueling training proved serviceable for the military; yet, many soldiers were beginning to grow careless and inattentive to titan threat.

tumblr_mxek9n4BM51t47u20o1_500.gif

It was Christmas Eve, and the day before Christmas Day. It being one of the few holidays humanity celebrated, the soldiers were given the few [very rare]days off. Christmas was the largest annual winter event, celebrating good harvest and fortune, but mostly it was so that there would be some joy in the melancholic lives of the soldiers. They would all be going into the large garrison town that day and all the soldiers were going to stay in one inn to celebrate. Most of the Scouting Regiment from the military would be in town, including the Military Police and the Garrison. It was quite the tradition of the military to do so because it proved successful in boosting soldier morale.

Unbeknownst to the celebrating soldiers, three titan-shifters were among them with an already formulated plan for humanity's demise. On Christmas day, at exactly
5:00AM, the titans would execute their onslaught by attempting to infiltrate a hole in Wall Maria and killing anyone in their way.

TITAN SHIFTERS:

Claire Shrouf @MoltenLightning Survey Corps Soldier - "Acidic Titan"

Samantha Gale@NekoChanBo Survey Corps Soldier - "Calamity Titan"

*NOTE: Titan Shifters are encouraged to work together in order to exterminate all of humanity and to wreak havoc inside the walls.*

Current Day/Time:

Christmas Eve -- 5:14pm.

Approximately 24 hours until titan attack.

Weather:

Accumulated snow of 12in.

Jarringly cold with harsh winds.

Location:

Garrison town inn -- Mandatory Christmas Eve party.

Rosalie was seen quietly situated in a corner table that was facing a window. With her right hand cupped around a hot cup of barely tea, she tenderly rested her chin on the palm of her left. The yearly Christmas Eve party was now in full swing, meaning that spirits were high and the crowd was ever bustling. Rosalie was never one for parties, let alone human contact in general. She grew to treasure solitude which unfortunately accounted for her lack of friends. Sighing, the blonde-haired figure fixated her attention on her surroundings. The inn was spacious enough to house all the soldiers from the Garrison, the Survey Corps, and the Military Police. Although soldiers from all three branches were present, Rosalie could only recognize the faces that belonged to the Survey Corps. Cheerful music permeated the entire ballroom, encouraging soldiers to dance with one another and a burning furnace alit with fire pleasantly warmed everyone. To her left, Rosalie witnessed some higher ups from the Military Police and the Garrison huddling together in a tight circle. They seemed to be playing a competitive game of cards due to the vulgar language and the menacing howls that were being thrown at each other. To her right was the dining table which was assorted with fine meats, decadent sweets, and rich wine. The food provided at this party was definitely better than the meager rations of bread and soup that were given to soldiers daily. Everyone seemed to be enjoying their time well. Alcohol livened up peoples' morale, bright smiles replaced usual frowns and hearty laughter resonated the enclosure. Seeing everyone like this also made Rosalie smile. I can see why many soldiers look forward to this seasonal party..

Before Rosalie could emerge herself in deep thought, a gust of wind that violently blew on the surface of the window made her jump. "The weather isn't looking too well," The blonde murmured to herself as she turned her blue gaze towards the outside scenery. Sparkling snow neatly blanketed the outside ground, transforming the barren town into a winter wonderland. Far off into the distance, children were recklessly playing in the snow mounds and making...snowmen? No.. a snow tit-

"TITAN? PFFT! WE HAVEN'T COME ACROSS AN INVASION IN 30 YEARSS!" A booming voice belonging to a--clearly drunken--Military Police soldier was egotistically yelling to a group of cadets. "Shh Jace! Keep it down!" Another voice, this time belonging to a younger female trainee, attempted to calm the hefty male. Laughter rang across the already noisy room but Rosalie simply ignored the rather obnoxious soldier who was now garnering more attention. It was true that titans haven't breached the walls for over three decades; however, that didn't mean it was now impossible.. did it? Sighing, Rosalie took a sip of her bitter tea as she continued to stare out of the window in silence.

Samantha let out a sigh she hated any of these events that basically forced members of any of the corps to go to it was boring, she hated basically everyone she worked with would she talk to anyone there no, would she get drunk no would she enjoy herself and laugh like most people NO. She would hate every moment she spent there and would rather be at home doing anything but it was Mandatory so she had to do it still it might prove useful drunken people are very very lose lipped and that simply means more information for Samantha not only that but she can also find out who drunk the most and attacking the point where they are means they have one troop at less than one-hundred percent which made it a good place to attack. Samantha's eyes darted around the room quickly she was slightly bother at the lack of tables with no one one every table seemed to have people on it and that was not what Samantha wanted.

It took a while but finally Samantha found a place that didn't have too many people at it, just one instead it seemed they was someone else who disliked company although the smile on her face said differently. It was then looking at her face that Samantha began to recognize her heck she should do the two are both part of the same corps and its not like people are lining up to join the survey corps now is it. Samantha took a seat at her table without saying a word. It was only a few seconds after she heard a man shout "TITAN? PFFT! WE HAVEN'T COME ACROSS AN INVASION IN 30 YEARSS!" Samantha eyes scouted the room before she saw the man who said it a Military Police please he managed to get in the top ten god it must have been easier back in the day either that or they just exploited the system which was easier enough to do. Samantha looked up to the ceiling and sighed. "It will happen it always does." She muttered mostly to herself but it would be loud enough for anyone around her to hear. It would definitely happen Samantha knew that.

@NekoChanBo (WOW I love your post!)

Rosalie's blue eyes briskly wandered away from the window when she noticed that another presence had occupied the seat in front of her. In an instant, Rosalie recognized the said figure's long black hair. Hm..What was her name again? Serah? No.. Samantha! The blonde soldier directed a genuine smile towards Samantha. She had suddenly realized that she had never gotten to truly interact with the raven-haired female due to them being stationed in different squads within the Survey Corps. The two were about the same age yet Samantha towered over her easily. Reaching at an astonishing height of 6'8, the black-haired soldier definitely stood out like a sore thumb. Rosalie opened her mouth to introduce herself to Samantha; however, Samantha already beat her to talking. "It will happen it always does," Rosalie heard Samantha mumble in a rather collected tone. The blonde woman blinked in curiosity to Samantha's statement and she leaned in closer to face her directly. "It meaning a titan invasion..? I do hope not.. humanity has lost countless of lives 30 years ago.. on that day." Rosalie's eyes grew dark as she thought about the last titan invasion. Though she was not even born at the time, the frightening stories of the terrorizing titans were deeply engraved into her mind. The way her parents had talked about that day when a titan had breached Wall Maria was so realistic that Rosalie often envisioned herself in that exact moment. Before Samantha could notice her deviating thoughts, Rosalie quickly shook her head and she bore her gaze towards the ground shyly. "Oh I'm Rosalie, part of squad 47," As usual, her voice was soft-spoken and her cheeks began to flush a bright tint of pink. Around the two, the big-mouthed Military Police soldier known as Jace continued to correlate titan jokes to the crowd. The gathered people around him expressed their amusement by laughing along to his antics. It seemed as if the party was getting livelier as wine was being poured heavier.

Samantha looked down upon feeling the strange sensation of someone looking at her, it turned out it was the person whos table she sat at what was her name Rose, Rosa,Rosalin something like that Samantha could remember of the top of her head. Samantha quickly turned away from her and locked her eyes back onto the military police loud mouth, it was clear he had never fought a titan the way he talked smack. Still this could be a good way to install fear into the group by simply tell her and her Survey corps squads missions against the titans about all the 'friends' that she has lost to them and all the replacements that have took their places it would be great to scare these people as fear spreads like wildfire. She must have looked that way for less than a minute before she looked back to the blond haired women it was only then that Samantha noticed it she looked so innocent, it made Samantha wonder what she was doing in the Survey corps she didn't look like she belonged there saying that Samantha didn't so it should be that much of a surprise. Samantha blinked a few times before realizing what she was talking about she must have over heard what she muttered to herself. Samantha watched her closely and as strange as it seems it seemed that her eyes changed to a more darker one it seemed that fear would work well well she knew what she was doing soon. Samantha didn't answer her about what she muttered but put on a fake little smile upon Rosalie introducing herself. "Samantha Gale from squad 3-" Samantha began talking however she was quickly bumped into by one of the military police who have been making jokes about the Titans perfect time to insight fear. Samantha looked down at the table for a second before slamming her hands on it she was acting angry.

"You know you talk a lot of crap about Titans but I bet you've never even fought one." Samantha said to the military police, most were in the dark about them the fact that most of them never fight most would not fight a titan unless the reach protection zone of the military police. The man was about to speak but instantly Samantha continued. "I bet you don't even know what it feels like to lose people you class as family over and over since if you have you wouldn't be saying what you are right now." Samantha said before sitting down and holding her head. "The sight of them being ripped apart in front of you, their bodies being treated like rag dolls and worse of all when you have to walk past their twisted and torn corpses and knowing they was nothing you could do." Samantha spoke she sounded down depressed some might go as far to say. She simply stayed sat in the seat back on the table with Rosalie that should keep them quiet for a while and hopefully install fear into the cadets and those who are inexperienced with Titans

Adam Södergen

Survey Corps - Squad Leader

izaya___render_by_aleendy_maiid-d4ornob.png

Location: Garrison town inn. – Christmas Eve party.

Adam honestly did not want to go to this so-called Christmas party. What was the use of it? They should be preparing for something more useful instead of spending their time to this stuff. It only made the people even more stupid as they would be swept away with the atmosphere hanging inside of the building. Probably shoving their stomach full with food and alcohol, making them have a horrible head ache the next morning or for those who were lucky would go without it and do their job properly like they should. The freaking idiots. If only the world would be more cautious they could have prevented this outburst of titans rampaging all over. If only they would have searched harder for a cure and not have left it like it was now, maybe there was a chance that all of this would have been different.

Shaking his head as he was walking down the street in order to reach that party, not wanting to have even more negative thoughts and probably go on a rampage if he was going to be bothered with useless stuff that totally did not have to do anything with him. The snow also helped to cool down his head literally. His nose was even starting to turn in a light red color so it was time for him to go inside of the building and be annoyed to the core of his being. Pushing the door open only to be met with the scene he had expected there to be: a lot of drunkards and gibberish talk. Clicking his tongue at the sight, already feeling the urge to smack them around as if they were his personal punch bags. It was not unknown that Adam would resort to violence when things would not go his way.

Running a hand through his hair as he walked around the place until he spotted some of his crewmembers who looked somewhat decent. Walking over towards them with an emotionless expression. “Good evening.” He said before he sat down on an empty chair. Crossing his legs as he leaned back to watch the people acting like fools which they were. Yes, he was not too fond of people nor of titans. So it was like he had some kind of outlet to get rid of the most annoying ones which were currently the titans in this day and age. Sometimes he got a bit too into it which made him forget about his squad which resulted in him getting lectured by the higher ups.

~Claire, Acidic Titan~Survey Corps - Soldier

Claire was sitting in a chair, head in the clouds. She wasn't really thinking about anything in particular, just the fact that the air smelled of alcoholic drinks and the like. Suddenly, a wafting smell caught her attention, causing her to immediately sit upright instantly. 'Smells good, guess I should at least go enjoy myself!' She thought, then proceeded towards the delicacies.

She ate a few, grabbed some more, then went back to her seat. She leaned back in her chair, content whilst eating a few more things. She noticed a few of her crew mates and waved at them. A smile was stuck to her face, showing the bliss of her current situation.

"So! How're you guys doing?"

Claire questioned, warmth ringing through her voice.

"

This is actually pretty relaxing, you kn-"

Suddenly, someone started shouting something about titans and never infiltrating or whatever. She stole a glance at Samantha, but looked away.

Stretching in her chair, she pursed her lips.

"Huh."

Almost no thought went into the guy's statement. Conversations were never really her thing, but she tried none the less. Closing her eyes, she relaxed in her seat.

"Some people are really strange. I can't blame 'em though, I'm not the most normal either."

Claire stated to no-one in particular. After that guy started talking about titans, it got her thinking about the THING they were gonna do... Well, she could worry about that later.

Nora Katsu

Survey Corps Solider

Location: Garrison Inn, Christmas Eve party

2pqvyw7.jpg

To be honest, Nora liked the feeling of snowflakes falling on her face as she was strolling around outside. She had already visited the Inn, but after a while she needed a break from all the noise and people that she decided to take a short walk. She didn't mind the cold since she needed some fresh air. Being cooped up with people she hardly knew didn't appeal to her. It was kinda boring actually. Sure, it was nice that they had a day off but it wasn't nice when they were required to attend the party. Nora looked up at the sky for a moment, and then looked down at the ground. It was snowing hard for sure, though she enjoyed it. Soon, Nora's fingers were starting to feel numb and cold so she sighed rolling her eyes as she started to walk back towards the inn.

Soon, Nora had arrived and entered the inn once again as she dusted herself off. Nora took a quick glance around the room, and could see some familiar faces such as the crew members but instead of sitting with them she headed over to the spot where she was sitting before. Thankfully, no one had taken it and her book was still there where she left it.
Wonderful. Now I can just read and wait until everything is over. Nora sat down and picked up her small book as she flipped to the page where she left off.

She would rather be alone reading rather than talking with people. Also, it was better for her to be caught up in a book because Nora wasn't exactly the most friendly person when talking to other people. Nora brushed off her thoughts as she started reading and couldn't help but smile ever so slightly as she got caught up in the book. Reading was a way for to escape from this cruel reality and let her imagination run wild. Nora tucked a strand of hair behind her ear as it kept falling out of place and huffed in annoyance.
Perhaps it's time for me to cut my hair. Nora yawned as she stretched her arms and put the book on her seat as she stood up and walked towards the table of food. She was quite hungry and the food smelled delicious.

@NekoChanBo Rosalie winced as she felt droplets of wine splatter onto her chest, staining her white blouse. Jace, the sloppy military police officer, swung from side to side as he took another swig from a wine bottle that was gripped(rather tightly) in his right hand. Rosalie looked up as she heard a loud thud coming from Samantha. Realizing that Samantha was fuming with anger, the blonde female also stood up from her seat to calm her fellow squad mate. "Hey Samant--" Rosalie's attempt at reassurance was cut short as the black-haired woman bursted out towards Jace.

After Samantha finished her rant, the whole room was filled with an eerie silence. The music stopped playing and the clattering of dishes ceased. Many of the surrounding soldiers stopped their activities to witness the ongoing scene between Samantha and Jace. Rosalie could feel the hot gazes of the higher-ranked military officers bare into her back. Jace stood before Samantha with his mouth hanging in shock. After a moment of silence, the burly man scrunched his face and spat towards the raven female. "
WHAT DID THIS LITTLE SHIT JUST SAY TO ME??" Jace's chestnut-colored eyes now burned with fiery passion. "WHY YOU! I OUGHT TO SHOW YOU WHAT A TRUE SOLDIER FROM THE MILITARY POLICE CAN DO! YOU SURVEY CORPS THINK YOU'RE ALL THAT, EH?" Jace's booming voice was so loud that it seemed to vibrate throughout the entirety of the party. The muscular male began stomping towards Samantha as he pulled up both of his sleeves in a violent manner. A slight gasp left Rosalie's dainty lips. Everyone was watching the pair and if someone didn't do something now, Samantha would surely be punished by the Survey Corp's multiple commanders... or worse. Before anything could happen, Rosalie stood in front of Samantha with both of her palms facing the red-faced Jace. "I apologize on my friend's behalf, sir! She is rather drunk and didn't mean a word," Rosalie tried to make her usual soft voice be heard by everyone in the crowd. A small smile formed on her innocent face as she let out a nervous, half-hearted laugh. "We will just be on our way now. I can assure you this won't happen again." Rosalie gently tugged on the hem of Samantha's sleeve, signaling her to follow and give up. Out of the corner of her vision, Rosalie recognized one of the Survey Corps' treasured squad leaders: Adam. @Marshmallow

"Y-Yeah Jace you're pretty drunk too. Lets leave them be and just enjoy the rest of the night," Murmured the young female cadet who was previously seen with Jace. "Pfft! Why don't you put all that anger towards killing the titans behind the walls!" That's right. She's probably just jealous that she didn't make it to top 10 and had to join the Survey Corps instead. Jace yelled towards Samantha as a final attempt to smooth over his embarrassment. A snort was heard as he whisked around and headed towards the bar with the rattled cadet at his side. Rosalie let out an exasperated sigh once Jace had left the premises. Her ocean-blue eyes glanced up at Samantha and she attempted to read her emotions. After the little quarrel was over, the onlookers began to resume their partying and the music continued to play. It was as if nothing had happened.

Lothar Förstemann

Affiliation: Garrison

Time: 5:45 PM

Location: Garrison Inn

Weather: Frigid/Snowing/Windy

Status: Healthy

Though the pristine snow was scenic and beautiful, every snowflake that fell upon his exposed skin stung. The white powder of winter never stopped its freezing reign. Golden hawk-like eyes observed a single snowflake softly descending upon his exposed palm. His long lashes blinked away the feathery ice crystals as he brought the snowflake closer to his face. Lothar watched the little snow crystal melt away from his warmth. An impatient sigh awoke Lothar from his trance.
"Come on Lothar, let's head back in. I don't want to die by frostbite." Lothar's friend said while gently nudging him at his side. Lothar nodded his head as if to apologize for making him wait, trailing behind the other male while his chin pointed up towards the dark skies. It's not that Lothar didn't like the company of his fellow crew mates, but he would rather play in the snow than take a single step inside that cramped inn. Not only did Lothar attend the party because it was mandatory, but he also went with a positive attitude because he appreciated those that planned for this Christmas Eve party. To supply all the lavish food and winery for the drunken teammates was thoughtful yet dangerous. Lothar was weary of how much wine was being consumed. Was no one else concerned about this? He let this question slip out from his mind as he entered the inn, a rush of warm air and cantankerous shouting welcoming him inside.

Lothar surveyed the great room crowded with soldiers from all affiliations. He noticed a few individuals that seem to stand out from the rest of the cantankerous bunch. Lothar would have joined that group had it not been the obnoxious friend yanking at his coat for attention:
"Lothar, hello?! LOTHAR!" He let out a small grunt as his friend wrapped his burly arm around Lothar's neck, forcefully dragging him towards the bountiful food resting on top of a large table. "Come on man, snap out of it! You've been like this the entire day. Help me grab some food for our table!" His friend would say while piling all the plates onto Lothar's outstretched arms. He had to admit that the aroma of roasted chicken made his stomach growl. As Lothar followed behind his friend once more towards their table, his eyes laid upon the small group of Survey Corps soldiers that formed by the windowsill. He was a tad bit jealous for how calm and composed they were compared to his jostling, clamorous mob. Lothar turned his attention back to the Garrison group as the stacks of plates piled with food were stolen away from him. All the soldiers slapped him on the back to thank him, making Lothar cringe inside. His friend forced him to sit in the middle of the bunch, laughing as he took a swig of wine. Lothar shot daggers at his friend with cold glares as he suffocated beneath the leaning weight of the men sitting on either side of him. They started singing in screechy voices, swaying from side-to-side while Lothar gritted his teeth to keep himself from losing his sanity, which was at this point exceedingly minuscule.

Samantha sighed, she didn't even look at the man who was shouting at her she didn't care what he had to say fact is everything that she said was most likely true hence why he was getting so defensive about it and why it bothered him so much. A small snigger escaped her mouth as he called her a 'little shit' please Samantha was a giant even when compared to most men at 6'8 not many people were taller than her. Samantha's head finally turned slightly sideways as she heard the sound of footsteps stamping her way, she noticed that the Military police man was getting closer and closer really was he going to try and fight her if so he would surely lose. Just as the man was about to get right up to her Samantha began standing up only to notice that someone was in her way looking down she noticed that it was Rosalie who seemed to be stopping Samantha and the man who was now known as Jace from going a few rounds. She was one of the people Samantha hated those who get in the way of things that don't involve her. Samantha let out a quiet breath it seemed the situation was diffused due to Rosalie which was annoying she would have to pay her back for that one day. Upon her sleeve being tugged on Samantha followed her however it wasn't long after that she noticed that Rosalie was glancing at her, Samantha's face showed nothing it was blank no emotion no nothing however all of a sudden the same angered expression that was show a few seconds ago covered her face. "The next time you want to help me DON'T if I want help i'll ask for it if I needed you to bail me out I would have asked for it, you got that shrimp?" Samantha said annoyed they was a reason she didn't have any friends in the Survey corps and this was it... she is a real bitch when she wants to be.

Christmas Eve -- 6:00pm.

Location:

Repulsive. Luca's steel grey orbitals flashed menacingly as he monitored the small blonde and the towering black-haired soldier. Yeesh she's tall. She could pass as a titan due to her height. Luca, referring to Samantha, thought to himself in distaste of the fight that had just occurred. The lean man was standing in front of the sweltering furnace with his arms crossed neatly atop his firm chest. The crackling of the fireplace was pleasant to his ears and bits of flakey ash were beginning to settle gently on his broad shoulders. With him being a squad leader in the military police, the quarrel certainly irritated him. However, he differed from Jace in that he chose his fights wisely.. that and he didn't like getting butt-wasted drunk. Tch. With the prying eyes of the commanders, the party was definitely not a setting to engage in such affairs. Yawning, Luca scanned his surroundings in search of some dear entertainment -- entertainment meaning some girls to play around with. C'mon. What is a party without a little fun with the ladies? The mischievous brunette lifted his lips in a sneer as he scanned the brightly lit enclosure. This was some party indeed. There was a horde of people on the dance floor, fluttering about with partners in a lighthearted waltz. Alright now which one of these soldiers will be tonight's lucky lady.. Towards the far end of the room sat a Survey Corps soldier with radiant red hair(@xxwishesxx). From Luca's observation, she seemed to be reading a book. Hm.. the studious type eh? Clearing his throat and smoothing out his ruffled hair, the squad leader started to walk up towards the woman. As usual, his facial expression resembled that of a sly fox.

While Luca made his way towards the back of the bustling inn, he noticed the familiar face of one of the most despised people he knew. Adam Södergen(@Marshmallow). The two were both squad leaders; however, Adam belonged to the Survey Corps -- the most aggravating branch in the military in his opinion. Luca clenched his fists in a tight ball as he faced the black-haired male. I see he hasn't changed a bit. He's still got an annoying ass face. Scoffing, he looked the Survey Corps leader up and down. "If I were you, I'd keep your soldiers under control. You are squad leader, are you not?" Luca was referring back to the fight that had occurred between a member of the Military Police and two members of the Survey Corps. Another sneer formed on Luca's face and he walked away from Adam before he could even respond. Boy did he love to just agitate his enemy.

As Luca was easily pushing his way through the crowd and towards the red-haired woman, he couldn't help but to over hear a conversation between a group of Garrison men. "Nononoo. You are supposed to clean the canon from top to bottom! That way the gun powder dust won't fly off everywhere!" The voice came from one of the Garrison soldiers. This man's cheeks were flushed red and his words were slurred. Oh joy. Another drunkard. Luca rolled his steel-grey eyes in annoyance. "HA! Says the guy who can't even clean his ass after every shit!" Another voice belonging to another one of their men yelled through fits of laughter. "Do you pyromaniacs have anything else to talk about other than your canons and asses?" Luca questioned the group irritably which resulted in another roar of laughter from the men. Ugh. At least one seems reasonably normal. Luca thought as he glared at a gray-haired male(@WhisperSweetNothings).

@NekoChanBo Rosalie offered a weak smile towards Samantha, whom currently wasn't saying anything at all. Hm? Maybe she just doesn't know how to thank me? The blonde Survey Corps soldier clasped her small hands together until out of nowhere, the black-haired figure poured out a spew of insults: "The next time you want to help me DON'T. If I want help I'll ask for it. If I needed you to bail me out I would have asked for it, you got that shrimp?" Rosalie's azure eyes widened in bewilderment and her heart dropped in anguish. That was utterly unexpected. "I-um..yes. I understand, I'm sorry Samantha," Her voice seemed smaller than before and there was a slight quiver in her tone. She's right, I was out of place..but.. "I just thought you needed some help, that's all," Rosalie brushed through the already dried-out wine stains on a portion of her shirt and she forced herself to not make eye contact with the six-footed soldier. The atmosphere was bleakly tense and rather awkward now that Samantha had made her point. "I'll go grab us some drinks," Rosalie honestly just needed an excuse to leave Samantha's tantalizing presence. To the best of her abilities, she delivered another warm smile towards her comrade before making her way towards the food bar. "Well that went well.." Rosalie murmured to herself in a downdraught whisper. An almost whimsical sigh resonated from her voice as Rosalie gracefully escorted herself towards the middle of the room. The Garrison Inn was decorated festively with golden ribbons that were projecting from the ceiling. Near the bar stood an array of flowers ranging from lilies to daffodils. As Rosalie approached the bouquets that were situated neatly atop a clothed table, she gently held out a hand and tenderly touched a wilting rose. How much longer until this party ceases? The blue hues of her eyes darkened as they rested upon an antique clock. 6:15 p.m.

Samantha let out a groan of annoyance as Rosalie spoke mostly since it was incredibly hard to hear her, heck it was almost like she was whispering not only that but that fact that she simply apologized, this person was just annoying Samantha more and more submissive and the type of person to help others not in need of help Samantha hoped she would just die and tomorrow Samantha just had one more reason to do what she was going to. Humans are all scum people like her are no expectation they may hide their true colors behind a facade of kindness and joy but the true nature of humans would always come out. Take that military police person for example all Samantha did was state something that was most likely the true and he reacted with what would have turned out to be violence, Titans on the other hand do not hurt their own kind unlike humans and only hunt humans for food really just think about it who is the real monster here, The Titans who only hunt for a food supply or the humans who hunt things to near-extinction only for its skin, who hurt their own kind for little things but yet we're the monster please we would be doing the world a good deed. "Well next time just think it and don't act on it." Samantha said reacting to the fact that she thought Samantha needed help, the only time Samantha needs help is when she does something big scale like what is happening tomorrow. Samantha did the shooing action with her arms when Rosalie said she was going to get the two some drinks before she took a seat back at the table the two was sat at, this was the first time tonight she was alone and so far the happiest. Samantha looked around and yawned. "What time is this rubbish fest over at?" She questioned herself but as she expected she got no answer, the closest clock stated that it was 6:20 and Samantha only had the patience to stay another ten minutes at best.

Survey Corps - Squad Leader

And there it started. The more time that passed, the more drunk the people became and it now even came to the point of them arguing with each other. Honestly, he did not know what on earth the purpose was of getting drunk for no reason at all and only be influenced by the good or bad will of others who try to make fun of someone. And mostly that worked quite well at these times, though he doubted that they would still remember as shrugging down liters of beer was not exactly the best thing one could do. However, it made his job a lot easier if someone annoyed him, their reflexes were diminished a lot so it did not ask a lot of strength to break up a fight. Though some people were tougher than others which he had to keep in mind. Hearing the yelling of some people did not make him move at all as he just sat there with some other people from the Survey Corps.

When he thought it could not become any worse than it already was, he just had to notice Luca Thompson. That annoying prick from the Military Police. How he even got to become a squad leader was a mystery to him as he did not feel like this guy could do anything if titans were to actually break through the walls. Maybe go sit in a corner and cry his eyes out when it would come to that kind of event. Clicking his tongue as he saw that Luca was coming towards him and he was getting ready for any stupid remarks like always. Trying to keep his cool which was quite hard on him at the moment as he was already annoyed by seeing these stupid people darting around like a bunch of idiots who did not have a job to do. So as the other stood in front of him and rambled whatever came into his head, Adam his eye twitched. The other soldiers noticed that one thing and tried to lighten up the mood after Luca left again.

But that did not help at all as it only aggravated him even more. Excusing himself from the table before he made his way towards that Luca, hearing the sighs behind him. His eyes were directly locked onto his rival and everyone backed away from him once they noticed in what kind of mood he was. An eerie smile forming on his lips as he placed his hand onto the other his shoulder. “You sure have it high in your head don’t you? Do you care if I beat some changes in it?” He said, his voice silent yet there was a serious and menacing tone to it which could make the shivers run op to ones spine. His grip hardening on the other his shoulder as his anger did not go away at all.

Nora had already picked out the food she wanted and had returned to her seat, nibbling on the food as she continued to read her book. Though it was getting harder to concrete on her book when people were yelling and getting drunk. Nora blew out a breath in annoyance. These people were supposed to act like civilized soldiers, not stupid pigs who got drunk. She was getting rather annoyed with all the commotion, and decided it was best for her to stay out of any arguments. She just hoped that no one would come talk to her, as she wasn't exactly in the brightest of moods. Nora shook her head, trying her best to ignore everyone and everything as she crossed her leg, returning to her reading. As she was doing so, Nora couldn't help feel that something was watching her.

She rested her chin on the palm of her hand as she read, slightly getting better at ignoring all the noise. She supposed this was better than training or cleaning the stables out in the freezing cold weather.
I guess this is alright. There's food, a warm place to stay for tonight, and I don't have to do anything. So yea, Nora was actually rather relieved that she was here. Better than cleaning, that's for sure. Nora yawned as she stretched her arms and while doing so, she looked around the crowded inn. It seemed as if everyone was in slight tension, but other then that people seemed to be getting along fine and having a nice time.

As she was looking around, she paused to see someone looking at her. Nora at first thought that the male was looking at something else, but when she turned around and looked to her side, she didn't see anybody else. She shrugged her shoulders and shook her head, going back to her book. But as she continued to read, she glanced up a few times, to see the brown haired male heading this way. (
@Fawndapple) She hoped not, though Nora noticed that the male was part of the military police. Honestly, Nora didn't have a opinion on the military police. Some people disliked them, some loved them. It was just that Nora didn't care.

Nora had finished the sweet cinnamon roll and smiled slightly. She loved anything sweet and it had been a long time since she had something like that. Her smile disappeared though as she saw the military police male nearly standing a few feet from her. Nora picked up her book and quickly hid her face behind the book, well at least trying her best to. When it came to talking to people, especially males she wasn't the best. Usually, she would come off as either awkward or hostile. Sometimes charming but rude at the same time. Nora kept silent, as she pretended to read her book.
Maybe he'll go away. Or maybe he's just heading towards someone else.

Lothar Förstemann

Affiliation: Garrison

Time: 6:30 PM

Location: Garrison Inn

Weather: Frigid/Snowing/Windy

Status: Healthy

Lothar tuned out of the Garrison's harrowing chorus and instead listened attentively to the jovial music pervading the dense air. He guiltily envied those that danced in the center of the ballroom, the soldiers swaying in fluid movements. The light emitting from the fireplace sparkled his eyes like amber gemstones as Lothar scrutinized swiveling hips and sprightly feet. The upbeat song made his foot lightly tap the ground, a gentle smile forming upon his face. It's been a while since he had seen all these soldiers so amiable and carefree. Lothar could feel the heat of intertwined bodies radiating towards his table. His smile gradually disappeared and turned sour as he went back to his crestfallen mood. If only he had the courage to whisk away a partner to join the cheerful dancers, then Lothar wouldn't have to be forced sitting here with this irksome group. The jolly singing of the Garrison soldiers at Lothar's table never ceased its horrid tune until four of them stopped to converse about cleaning cannons. They had the same conversation last week.

Sighing with contempt, Lothar grabbed the leftover scraps on the table and fluttered his eyes closed, his lips silently mouthing a prayer. He thanked the Lord for their food, for this party, for keeping them healthy, and for the merriment of the soldiers. Although Lothar wasn't quite religious, he thought of his prayers as a means to hold onto his optimism. The silver-haired male hadn't noticed the squad leader of the Military Police hovering over them, bitterly questioning the soldiers' idiotic discussion. Lothar sat there in the middle of the debate without speaking a word, bringing a leg of a chicken close to his thin lips. Before he could take a single bite out of the juicy flesh, Lothar couldn't help but feel a menacing glare stare down at him. Lothar's honey-colored hues found the steel-grey irises that shot daggers right through his very soul. Lothar knew he couldn't speak up over the waves of laughter emitting from the boisterous soldiers, so he glanced over the male's shoulder to see another one stalk towards him. Lothar felt his stomach coil up into a tightened ball. He sensed an imminent fight coming.

Lothar stood up from his seat as he watched the tension between the two squad leaders unravel before his eyes. All the Garrison soldiers speedily hushed as they reared away from the two domineering males. Lothar knew he had to do something before their fight would cause harm to others. With his breath sucked in, the Garrison soldier went around the table to intercede them.
"I'm sorry for the intrusion, and I know it's not in my right to come between men of high ranking, but please, let's keep the peace around here. There's no need to cause a ruckus when everyone else is trying to enjoy the rest of the night. If you want to fight, then take it outside." He calmly said as his hands made a placatory gesture by forcing some space between the two. He could hear his friend in the distance calling him back to the table, but Lothar ignored him. Squad leaders should be setting an example for their group. If they were to fight in the naked eye of the public, how would all of the soldiers respond? Lothar didn't want to find out. He could feel anger ooze out from the Survey Corps squad leader while the other male put off a threatening ambience. He didn't care if they started beating him up instead, so long as they didn't ruin the jubilant mood within the inn. After all, everyone except his friend never really cared about him.

Every nerve on Luca's chiseled body quivered as he shot back a hostile glare towards Adam. The rumors surrounding the Survey Corps squad leader were undeniable: Adam was a screwy psychotic. Baring his teeth, the brunette male took a hefty step forward in order to get a better view of the raven-haired soldier. "Tch. I'd like to see you try. Why don't you come over here and--" Before Luca could finish his sentence, the grey-haired Garrison member whom he had saw earlier blocked his vision of Adam. Little pest! "Hey! Move out of the way unless you want to be beaten to a pulp also!" Luca's steel eyes never left the eyes of Adam. To hell if he was supposed to be a role model for the younger cadets! This world was already rotten anyway. "Are you deaf? I said move!" Lothar's lean build stood motionless as he stayed in between the two contending males. Though Luca was trying his best to shoulder his way through to reach Adam, Lothar was being all too persistent. How bothersome. A deep growl of irritation sounded beneath his throat. For a split moment, Luca's eyes wandered throughout the hustling party. Hm no higher ups are watching. Probably all too wasted. A short glimpse of Nora's red hair caught the attention of Luca. A smug expression settled on his face when he rethought the scenario. He would make a fool of Adam and show everyone what a true loony he is. As if on cue, Luca cowered back and a pure visage masked his hatefulness of the Survey Corps soldier. "Hey calm down soldier. Lothar is right, there is no need for any of this... are you sure you are fit to be a squad leader? You know..with your anger issues and all," Luca attempted to communicate an artificial face of worry and his voice had risen rather greatly. Now others around the two were starting to gain interest, especially in Adam. "So that's him! Adam Södergen," A whispered voice of one female soldier was heard from somewhere in the crowd. "I heard that he actually likes to kill, that's the only reason why he joined the Survey Corps. He's insane," Another hushed voice was made audible as stares were thrown at Adam. It had taken Luca an immense amount of self-perseverance to hold back his laughter. So far, his plan was working.

Adam his eyes were having a spark in them as he watched the other. Enjoying the reaction that he received now, though that pleasure was stolen as they were interrupted by someone of the Garrison. He did not know the latter and honestly he did not seem as someone important to begin with, let alone be able to actually do something along the line of physical action. Licking his lips as his eyes switched between the other two, wondering what would happen now. Would the other back off or would he have another trick upon his sleeve. It was all interesting now to Adam instead of infuriating. After all he was warned by a higher rank to keep his cool more around the people and that he should just let himself go outside of the walls while securing the safety of the soldiers of the Survey Corps, but that was near impossible to reassure that every single one of them would return in their normal state.

Placing his hand upon his hip as he then listened to what Luca had to say about all of this. That freaking change in the other his attitude truly pissed him off to the core of his own being. Yet, he did not say anything for the meantime, just listening to the rambling and provoking from the military police officer in front of him. Or more like the dogs of the kings that ran around with nothing to do, only abusing their power over the people. That was practically the only thing that they were good in after all. At least Adam had some skill upon his sleeve that he could actually use in this time and day. Completely different than those imbeciles.

Holding in his anger even after hearing the whispers from the soldiers around him. Instead, he smiled gently towards Luca as he wanted to avoid punishment at all cost as it was not really pleasurable to go through that. Who knew what would happen to him now. Rubbing the back of his neck as he chuckled after the other was finished with doing his pointless rambling. “Aaaah~ Yes, I wasn’t provoking I was just checking if you were still in the right mind. After all, the military police provoking other departments to get into a fight would be highly unlikely isn’t it? It would be bad if the king got to know about this. He wouldn’t want hooligans to fight for him since you’re one of the closest people to him. So go back to your owner little dog.” Adam said with a relaxed smile. Only to hear some of the survey corps and the garrison chuckling at what he had said.
”It’s true…” “Haha, dogs.”

Katelle Mari Ackerman

Survey Corps Commander

Location-Garrison Inn

Katelle was always a wall flower. She was never really gifted with the social graces, so she didn't talk to people. The only reason she was here, really, was to supervise the members of the Survey Corps who were actually electing to attend. Especially the cadets under her influence. With her luck, she had gotten nailed with those who were most likely the most vile of the bunch.

Katelle sighed, as she stood up, sipping her tea. (Wow, she really was like her dad.) She knew she shouldn't be thinking this, but she was waiting for the little f'ers to slip up, so she could finally show them who they're actually dealing with. They didn't quite realize that they were being trained by, hey! The commander of the Survey Corps. If she didn't like them, they were pretty much out. To the Garrison, or to the Military Police they went.

A familiar feeling washed over her, and she smiled. A very welcomed presence was around. Her smile grew as she felt a set of strong arms wrap around her waist. Slowly, she set her tea down and turned to face the man behind her, known as Jasper Blackwood, the Garrison commander. Also known as her fiancé.

She was about to say something to Jasper, when she caught sight of two of her soldiers arguing. She saw one say something to another, most likely harsh, after one of the Military Police began to practically harass the two. She broke away from his grasp.

She walked over to Rosalie and Samantha, placing a hand on Rosalie's shoulder. "Is everything alright over here?" The commander asked, an authoritative yet gentle tone in her voice. "I see you've met Jace. Quite a character, he is."

Her voice dropped. "And quite the ass, too." She growled this statement, and looked straight at the Military Policeman. She had heard what he'd said about the Corps, and she wasn't happy.

She looked back at the two. "What did he say to you?" She asked. She was concerned, genuinely. Anyone under her command, especially the soldiers she had assigned to their groups, were her personal favorite squads.

@Brianna Ackerman It wasn't until Katelle, the Survey Corps commander, clutched her shoulder that she realized how long she had actually been gazing at the ongoing quarrel. Whisking around, Rosalie widened her blue orbitals in bewilderment to her newfound sight. "C-Commander Katelle!" In an instant, she formally saluted to the other with a fist placed above her heart. Rosalie's tone was laced with nervousness as she attempted to respond towards the higher-up. "Yes.. Jace has quite the mouth on him.. however I believe there is something else we should put our focus on," Rosalie softly motioned towards Luca, Adam, and Lothar whom were still seen huddled towards the back. She had been pondering on whether or not she should break up the fight but Samantha had proved her otherwise. @NekoChanBo

A loud and audible sigh escaped Samantha's mouth this place seemed to slowly be sucking away at her sanity and she couldn't stand it the longer she was here the more insane she felt she was getting and it wasn't the alcohol heck she hadn't even touched that yet she didn't want to get her mind clouded like the ass that was Jace other wise she might just do something she would regret and messing up now would cost the chance tomorrow something she would love to start right now, really why didn't they decide to do it today most of the high ranking officers would be in this one building she could just transform and her pure size would crush most of them but then she would also become a target and trapped in enemy territory and with her size that would be her death.

Samantha was caught off guard by the commander who seemed to sneak up behind her and Rosalie. Just like Rosalie did Samantha saluted the commander it was a half-arsed salute to say the least but it was a salute none the less. Commander Katelle seemed to what to know what Jace said to the two but Samantha decided to leave the talking to Rosalie it would be easier that way. Samantha simply shook her head watching as Rosalie seemed to once again want to stop another fight. "Just leave them to it." Samantha muttered before turning to Commander Katelle. "Commander do you know if we can leave yet this place just isn't me." Samantha asked to be honest she hated being here more than anything.

Katelle sighed and put them at ease before placing her hands on her hips. "Trust me. There's nothing I'd like more than to get out of this place." She said. "But unfortunately this is a mandatory party that apparently not even we can escape." She said. "But the best we can do now is just endure. And, whatever you do, do not drink whatever that blonde guy is carrying in the tray. I could smell the alcohol that he put in it. You drank that, you may die of alcohol poisoning." She looked over to where Adam was, watching her squad leader argue with one of the Military Police. He watched as Luca practically shoved a Garrison soldier out of his was to look back at Adam. She caught Jasper's eye from across the room, who had also witnessed the event, and motioned to the two. They needed to stop a fight before it happened. The two walked towards the quarreling soldiers, and Katelle smirked when she heard Luca question Adam's ability to be a squad leader. "Yes" she chimed in, coming to stop by Adam. "He is very well fit to be a squad leader. He is a very powerful and gifted fighter, who has saved many lives. That's why I chose him to be one of my squad leaders. He's saved even my life countless times. So, soldier, are you questioning my judgement?" She crossed her arms and looked at Luca, her face straight, but giving off such an angry glare at him that Titans would be running. Jasper chimed in at this time. "And I would prefer that you did not lay hands on my soldiers at any time. Especially not to shove them out of your way when preventing a fight." He too sent a death glare to Luca.

@Brianna Ackerman A feminine yet authoritative voice sounded directly next to Luca. Slowly turning around to face his impending doom, the Military Police soldier briskly released his hold on the black-haired male, though without a harsh shove to the chest. For a split second his fiery eyes met Katelle's disapproving countenance. "No ma'am," Luca responded towards the commander with a sour tone. As if it couldn't be bad enough, the commander of the Garrison Regiment also had to put in his two cents. Where is the Military Police commander when I need him? Scanning the noisy enclosure, Luca could just make out a group of his comrades drinking away to their hearts content. He was unfortunately outnumbered. Tch, useless. The hefty male directed his attention to Katelle and Jasper once again before letting out an irritated sigh. "My apologies commanders. It won't happen again." With a curt salute, Luca swiveled his boots past the higher-ups before throwing Adam one last glare. "You might have been saved this time but next time you won't be so lucky," The soldier bitterly spat out his words to Adam and as if one cue, he grabbed a nearby wine bottle. "Have a good rest of your night," Luca lifted the alcoholic bottle in the air as if to 'cheers' the others and with a swig of its contents, he turned around and disappeared within the boisterous crowd.
