Ha ha ha! Cap'n, you're a nut! =)

Hey, Cap'n! Does that mean if the Daughters cast the right spell, the Wanderers would end up all sounding like this? =)

I presume that we have not yet had our chance to train for eighth level yet? I don't want to add the level up stuff until it is ok.

Your characters just qualified to train for level 8. Your characters have to find trainers now, remember? =

Sherwood sez, "Before starting out in the morning, Luna would prepare an Extended Mage Armor and cast it, having it last for 14 hours."

What time did Luna cast this spell?

I was just making sure. I would cast the spell in the morning, say, 7am.

@killfire This is a good time to present the three items Bronze has freshly-made to Mamapaw if he so pleases. =)

Well, if I don't know what those tracks are, good luck for everyone else! Wow.

Here is a question for a possible house rule that I want to toss past our illustrious Storyteller. In some game systems there is a mechanic that allows for a player to push their power or attribute for a moment, to gain just that little extra bit of mojo needed to lift the car, speed forward, hit the bad guy, et cetera. I had a idea that if you decide is too overpowering or just won't work in your game, I understand, but if I don't try, the answer is always 'no'.

How about at the time of casting a spell, the caster expends two spells at once to increase the power of the first spell by a percent, say, 25-50%? The caster would lose both spells no matter if s/he misses or the target has some kind of spell immunity, but when the chips are down, that little extra may be the difference between winning and losing. Just a thought, but what do you think?

I had forgotten all about those with the length of time we spent in the Roundabout. Thank you for reminding me.

@Dannigan Were you wanting to have Oti and Bria's talkin Chapter 7 or elsewhere? I kind of feel that his interactions with her might hinge on the outcome of their talk.

Captain Hesperus

Yeah, I wanted that talk too (and so does "she")...

Do you want to make it like a side scene using "Earlier" and "tabs"? Something that happened in the past two days (maybe while they were helping with the chores together or afterward)?

Real Life beckons. Take care until then, friends! =)

Oh. And one more thing... We've reached 200 pages here!! Whoa! That'sa Lotta Coolness! Woohoo! =) 8D

And now... time for something completely unrelated! *woof*

You might or might not be familiar/into this already, but I want to share it in case that is not so. Recently I was introduced to a neat little website that takes an uploaded image of yours, enlarges it and optionally performs halftoning and other effects per your wishes, and then spits out a .pdf file containing a number of pages across which your image has been spread so that you can then have them printed and glued onto a matching-size hard cover surface of choice and you have just made a cool custom handcrafted wallpaper! (and in case this isn't what you made, contact somewolfe somewhere for help)

I uploaded a 1900x1200 px wolf art and turned it into 16 A4 pages of awesomeness that is a 111x70 cm (43.7x27.5 in) wallpaper. Printing cost me $12, the board which I am gonna use as assembly background is supposed to be around $2 at a local art academy's shop and finally the glue in spray (because I think this is the best approach) will probably be like $10 more so I get a unique, handcrafted piece of wall art for just like $25 - would be half the price if I already had the glue from before and a worthy piece of cardboard or something, which I unfortunately don't. You choose the number of pages and orientation yourself, which directly affects the final poster size and printing costs *woof*

When I cut the margins I laid everything down on the floor to see a preview but I'm not gonna give you any pics until it's properly done and resting on my wall. You can see other people's stuff though, on the said website (rasterbator.net) or by exploring #rasterbate on Twitter. Hope someone likes this idea but if you don't that's ok too, I'm just glad I'm doing it *rawrrr*

Say goodbye to holes and cracks, wall, and say hello to my little friend da rasterbator! *howl*

@Captain Hesperus Sounds good to me. If it's fine by you, I'll use tabs to keep the story there for those who want to see it (I remember not everyone was interested in your Conversation side story, even though that scene was damn good and fun!). I imagine the past two days for the Wanderers have been filled with about 8-10 hours of travel, 8 hours of sleep, and the rest filled with rest breaks for the horses (and peeps), all heavily-sprinkled with lots of work done by those Wanderers willing to pitch in. Stewart, for one, kept the Adventurers' Wagon (and the whole damned caravan) in tip-top shape, and though only two wagons survived, he still holds the belief that they are worth maintaining up to the level of when Bilal the Rich owned them.

@Wolf Rawrrr Want to see pictures! =) Also, would you mind posting the map you have of the Adventurers' Wagon, again? There were only two loose ends in the last chapter that I didn't get done, and Stewart (finally!) giving everyone the grand tour of the wagon was one of those. =)

Also in completely unrelated news... Buzz Aldrin is going to be teaching aeronautics classes! Jeez-Louise! It is so cool to live here in Florida! =)

Cap'n sez (under his avatar), "I'll get around to procrastinating later." Ha ha! =)

I'm a cat, it's kind of expected...

Captain Hesperus

P.S. New post will be up shortly, I've just come off night shifts so I'm feeling like I got hit by a truck full of ice.

Yeah... This beat Dannigan knows what you mean. I'm on six days out of the week again. Hope you're getting good food and rest, Cap'n. =)
