At the Adventurers' Table

I understand *one glass* (preferably red) is the way to go for many reasons, some medicinal, some for the spirit. =)

Just a heads up for everyone; I am heading to GenCon this Wednesday, so my posting over the weekend until Monday afternoon may be spotty. I'm bringing my computer with me, so in the evening I can check out the posts after my tabletop games.

I plan to. I'm running several different Robotech games, seeing a concert by the Doubleclicks, and checking out a few new systems that I have been eyeing for a while.

Sherwood, are you having a good time at GenCon? What's going on there? And how are your games going? Hope you're having fun!

@Sherwood @killfire @Captain Hesperus @Kaerri @Wolf Rawrrr

I have a "short-term" player question for everyone: What would you like to do after the Wanderers visit Melshaef's Tree?

Do you want to...

1. Travel to Highwind as soon as possible?

2. Get into some action with a short dungeon or other wilderness adventure?

3. Chase down Gerran and his Painless and run them over with the Adventurers' Wagon?

4. Do you have something else in mind?

In other words, what kind of fun is everyone in the mood for?

I am happy to try anything, Otiorin would be happy dungeon-delving, wilderness-whomping, Highwind-travelating or anything else to boot! He's happy to be doing stuff.

Captain Hesperus

Also P.S. Congrats, @Sherwood for being Member of the Month and thank you for your kind words!

Hey, how come you struck through #3? Sounds like a great plan to me! (Unless, of course, Gerran et al. are part of #2, in which case I vote for that one.)

And grats on MotM, Sherwood (^.^)

Hooray, Sherwood! Member of the Month! Wooooo!! 8D

I really like some of the questions the Staff comes up with (dreamin'! Moar dreamin'! Moar MOAR dreamin's!!). Thanks for the high compliment (crime-fighting team), too. One of the big reasons I've joined your Robotech RDF-game-in-the-making is simply because I miss RPing with you (especially Robotech; your love of Robotech spread to me. One of my favorite characters was Steve Yeager, Super Veritech Pilot! Took down a Zentraedi destroyer and dated the terrific Dana Sterling! What fun!).

Thanks once again, Sherwood, for telling me about RP.dom. Kaerri and I love being part of RP Nation (especially with you as part of it)! =)

If I were playing this as a video game, I'd probably be eager to just get to this Highwind place finally to cash in my loot and organize my inventory and then see what missions are available next.

If the game threw a side quest at me though, all I'd be thinking would be "oh God please just no more underground tunnels, let it at least be in the open and hopefully there is more mystery here than fighting".

That's what I'm in the mood for *woof*

Assuming that we have done enough roleplaying to earn a level up, I would like to train for 8th level in Highwind. Other than that, Luna is an adventurer, and is looking for adventure! Either a traditional Dungeon Crawl, or some overland stuff.

On a side note, GenCon has come to an end for the year. I'm at the airport waiting for my flight to get me back home to Las Vegas and my family. As much fun as it is to be away from home, I always look forward to seeing my wife and daughter again. Not to mention my kitties and doggies. I miss them, too.

I wish you a safe flight home to your loved ones (two-footed and four-footed), Sherwood! =)

O.K., folks. It sounds like those that have an opinion want to get to Highwind and go from there. Sherwood is correct in that this chapter will net you enough xp to be ready to train for 8th level. =)

Let's see how the rest of this chapter ends out and what happens at Melshaef's Tree. After that, I imagine a lot of Wandering Monster/Activity checks as you guys bee-line it north along the Road of Kings. =)

@dat post

ohmahgawd (*U*) *woof*

*woof woof*

*rawrrrrr*

This has got to be the best thing that ever happened to Wolf (after meeting Luna doh (:*)), and one of the best things that happened to me in some time. Wow! I got so into it that I could swear I felt my heart beat faster (' :) )

Thank the gods I didn't have Wolf do something stupid like present his favorite bow (x_x)

I'll post later tonight... can't wait! (wow!) (:3)

Sorry Wolf, but Luna couldn't resist being a little silly. Hope you don't mind. (^.^)

@killfire Did Bronze have an idea of what kind of gift he wanted from the Daughters or do you want them to get creative with Bronze's gift?

@Wolf Rawrrr Concerning Leonard's reflection in the water... I wholeheartedly leave this to you. This is your character and you should decide how he looks as a wolf (unless you absolutely do not want to; then I would take over).

It's your character; the decision to provide what he looks like as a wolf should fall to you. Now... if Leonard were being polymorphed (magically transformed) into some other creature... then it would definitely be up to me.

You know...

If some strange, mischievous wizard happened by...

...waved a magic wand....

...and shouted "Alakazam!!"

...and...

POOF!

Then we'd need some help... =)

Having Wolf get turned into a 'fierce' little kitten would not be funny at all. Nope. I'm not laughing at the thought.

@post

Wolf's Reflection. Get it? (>u>) Reflection.

lol points if you get it (^U^) mmmm k Imma just gonna go and add some wolf pics of Wolf to his sheet *howl*

This RP just got a ton (even) better. Thanks Dann (:3) *woof*
