Fantasy Asylum of Memories (IC)

Chris grinned. "Have you actually thought out the entire thing though? I mean, I got a camera, flashlight, all these types of things." She followed him up to the building, listening to what Jeremy was saying about them. "Well Jeremy, I have already been here for half an hour, looking at all the different angles of this building as well as covering up all the cameras that could be functional, just so we're not caught." She shined her light on a camera, which was covered with duct tape. She watched Derek work the door open with an approving nod. "Nice, but you could've just asked to borrow a lighter, I've got one in my bag." She then stepped inside, pulling out the camera as she did so.

Jeremy began to grumble

"I havent seen an ounce of fun yet..."

He growled in a hostile tone, clenching his fists.

"You better have been right about these ghosts."

He follows the flashlight and then picks up a broken piece of metal, clashing it against the walls as he howled out

"Helloooooo? Anyone hooome?"

"If there are ghosts, that's not going to be the way to find them." Derek said, trying to keep his voice down as much as possible.

Chris looked at Jeremy, who was already simmering with annoyance. "You know, this thing could be toying with us. It could be waiting for the right moment to get us. And plus, we're going to be here for plenty of time. I'd say about 5ish 6 hours." He said in a low whisper. As Autumn ran in, Chris noticed she wasn't balanced right. He grabbed her hand and steadied her. "Alright Autumn?"

(Happy Birthday to me!)

"Happy birthday @Puggie." Shuichi said absentmindedly, before remembering where the fourth wall was. "Eehhh, C'mon Saruna!" He pushed her inside to catch up with the others. "Shine your light on the demons of the netherworld. Beat back the darkness with your magic stick. C'mon, I can't see a thing."

Jeremy laughed and kept howling

"I don't see any ghosts. This better not have been a false alarm, you know how busy I am."

He pops another, different flavor gum into his mouth.

"Damn. Getting bored already."

Derek slowly walked through the dilapidated lobby, every step he took echoing through the massive room. Moss and vines grew anywhere from the roof to the floor giving the whole area a sickly greenish tinge.

"Weird."

He would mutter as he started walking into the vegetation.

"Looks like this place hasn't seen action for a while."

"It's been vacant for ten years. The only action I would expect would be from ghosts or paranormal beings." As Derek said this he began scanning the shambled lobby with his thermal camera. He found a spot in the room that seemed to show up as colder than the rest. The thermal camera beeped several times and the screen read, Dangerously low temperatures detected. Area may not be safe. "Could be ghosts." Derek muttered to himself. He shined his flashlight on the area and slowly approached it.

"Heh, finally some fun."

Jeremy stayed behind Derek. Although he was eager, he wasn't stupid. Charging into a freezing cold room with possibly a hostile ghost was a death sentence.

"Anyone brought some hand warmers?"

He said with a chuckle

Derek's alert to a cold spot fell to the back of Shuichi's mind. He was nearest the doors, using the half moon's light entering from its gaping entrance to examine some of the ludicrous foliage growing about. It really was everywhere. In the hinges, the seams of the of cracked metal. The wrath of mother nature was scary indeed... more over, they were growing together in spiraling clumps all fused together. It made him feel like vomiting. This place was infected. But that wasn't all.

Just as he cursed it under his breath and went to join the others, the many weeds tightened in combined force before his eyes. The doors slammed shut, sending the lobby into darkness as well as Shuichi on his arse.

"Gaaah! Light! Someone get a light on in here!"

Chris let go of her hand with a nod. "Alright, but be careful. Next time, I might not be there to catch you." They grinned at her before walking closer to the front of the room. As Derek spoke of the colder reading, they perked up, a little surprised. "Already? I surmised that we wouldn't get one until at least half an hour." Then Jeremy questioned whether anyone brought hand warmers, Chris pulled out a pair of gloves. "Well, I got a pair of gloves. Here." They tossed the pair to him, and hopefully he caught them.

(Thanks everyone! :D)

Autumn opened her mouth to say something but ended up blasting out a huge sneeze, the sound echoing across the whole room.

"Excuse me" Autumn whispered, her nose too stuffed up to sniffle but it was still tickling.

He took a step foreward and the icy cold hit him like a slap to the face. At his feet boiled a cloud of what appeared to be water vapor. It rocketed to the roof and into an entanglement of vines, then dissapeared. The area imidietly became warmer. "Okay. So... This place is definely haunted." Derek said.

Chris stepped back as ghost flew out. When it was gone, she got to the door that Shuichi was behind and gave a tug on the door knobs. They didn't budge. "If safety in numbers is true, then can you guys help Shuichi get out of this room."

Autumn nearly screamed, hiding behind Derek, scared out of her wits. "Th... that was a ghost. An actual ghost. Up t... to now, I was n... not a believer". She had her arms around his waist, shaking.
