Max glanced at the girl before shrugging and looking at the guy. "Why are you staring at her like that? You look like a creeper. And no matter how you slice it my eyes are way better." He said childishly. He took out his hand held and sent a small jolt of electricity through it to power it back on. 'Great, I still have two hours of gameplay I need to do.' He thought with a sigh.

 

[Field Marshall]

"It's Kai and this guy shall tell me all I need to know. Give me a moment." Kai replied. Then Kai's eyes turned bright green and the man in the jacket's eyes dilated. Kai was using indomitable will to conquer this man's will and get him to talk. It was done in a moment, and Kai set the man down to give him a moment to prepare what he was going to say. Kai looked at Feather and asked "Assassin weren't you going to get you sword because I do not see it on you?"


Then the liocan started to spout out all the information he had. "I work for this organization called the Syndicate. They're crime organization here in the capital. I was recently handed an assigment to see to the deaths of a few political figures so they can be replaced by Syndicate members. Here take this it has the names of the Syndicate members that are going to replace the politicians because they're all dead now." Kai took what seemed to be a data drive, then Kai kicked the liocan in the liocan in the head knocking him out.

Feather rolled her eyes as she stood up. "I know how to lie, and stop calling me that!" She snapped at him as she walked over to the man on the ground. She lifted his head as she sat down next to him and put it on her lap. She glanced up at the dragonborn and smirked. "And if those eyes really are better, why not let me see them?" She said, teasing him. She turned her head back to her captor and smiled. "Please can I kill him? He's no use anymore.." Feather hissed as she looked down at the liocan, her eyes brightening.

Max continued to play his hand held though he did stop long enough to take off his hood. "Why would you kill him? He isn't threatening your life." He asked not glancing at the girl or the poor bastard that was at their mercy. (btw his eyes are the same blue as his sentences) @SnowFeather @Newtype

Feather shrugged. "I don't know, would you accept it as a hobby?" She said, smirking. She let the liocan be and stood up. "But then again, they are quite rare.." She said. Feather turned to Max and looked at his eyes before looking back at Kai. "Hmm, I'd say my captor wins the contest.." She said and laughed. "So, we going anywhere?" She said as she turned to Kai, folding her arms over her chest.

 

[Field Marshall]

"Before we go to my place I think I need nicknames to call you two. I think I like Static and Shift. Yeah good enough." Kai said nodding his head. Kai placed the data drive in his pocket. He then said "Follow me Assassins." Kai then took off with lightning speed using Invisible Speed technique to move with speed and stealth. He arrived at a multi colored building a night club with several floors. It was giving all sorts of lights but it was quite on the outside. This allows for different music to be played on different floors as per Kai's design being he made and owns this nightclub.

Feather shifted into her wolf form and shot after him, scenting him. She zoomed up to stand behind him as she turned human and smirked. She took a few steps closer, standing infront of him. "Night club? If you keep this up, I might just stop hating you.." She said and glanced over her shoulder at Kai. "Why don't you call me by my name instead? It's much more fitting. Feather.." She continued, a bit annoyed at her nickname.

'Static? He could have just asked for my name. Actually I like it, Static it is.' Max thought. He let out a sigh before walking over to a power line and changing into his electric form. 'First things first.' He thought as he traveled in the opposite direction of where the superhuman went. In seconds he arrived home and placed his money and hand held in secure locations. He then grabbed a disposable phone before hoping into a TV and appearing next to the superhuman who was standing by another electronic store. "This place? Haha awesome! They have some good music and drinks here. And here I thought you were a complete stick in the mud" He said with a smirk as he patted the man on the back and waited to see if Kai could interest him further. @SnowFeather @Newtype

 

[Field Marshall]

"Okay I'll call you Feather." he whsipered. He then said aloud "Glad to see you guys like it. I had to find a way to conceal my lair and so I thought why don't I do that with lots of distracting people, drink, and partying. Come on we have a Capital to save. But you guys could go party for a while and meet me in a few minutes. I haven't had visitors in a while prefer to show them a cleaner work area." Kai said before walking to the door of the club. He told the bouncer that the two behind him get in free before. Then he moved through the first floor of his club to the basement and then to a hidden door in the basement which leads down to his hideout, lair, cave, or whatever you want to call it,

Feather grinned and walked up to the front door. "Hey Static, you comin?" She called over her shoulder as she passed the bouncer. His head turned, his gaze travelling down to look at her legs and she slapped his cheek, opening the door. "How rude.." She snapped at him before walking inside, insulted. As she came in, she looked around and narrowed her eyes, observing the first floor. @Peaceswore

Max was already in the lair as he looked around. "Cool place. Might have to get me one." He said as he dusted off a few things. "Though mines will be cleaner." He muttered. @Newtype

 

[Field Marshall]

"Don't you mean, mine. Mines are the explosives you put in the ground that blow up when tread upon. Anyway normally I work out of my office on the top floor." Kai said. Kai then walked to a wall and flipped a lever turning on the power to the hideout. As his supercomputer powered up Kai inserted the data drive and began to search through it. The hideout began to perform it's functions including it's self cleaning one. "You know you shouldn't travel through power lines and such too often it's unnecessary risks and should be saved for stealth missions. I expect you can move at lightning speed outside of power lines. Right?" Kai said to Max.

"If I get a hideout it will without a doubt have mines. And why is it an unnecessary risk? I do it all the time, however I mainly do it for show." He said as he watched the hideout clean itself. 'This is cool, but I like my place better. Though I should add mines.' He thought as he looked at everything that caught his attention. @SnowFeather @Newtype

"My hideout only has two rooms. Right now we're in the first which is the last line of hiding for the main part." Kai said as he cycled through the data, it contained more than just the Liocan said. It had much more useful information such as the key people and higher ups in the Syndicate. Kai quickly began copying the files over onto his cloud system. He stood up and faced Max "For starters on the risks on traveling power lines would be them blowing out while you're inside them. I'd say the biggest would be an emp on a line you're in. That would be a catastrophe for you."

"Yeah that's happened to me before. It's hard to explain, but an emp doesn't effect me, I guess it is because of dragon part of me or whatever. Also if I travel through a line and an emp does go off I can sense milliseconds before the power shuts off and get out of the line." He said as he combed through the hide out like a child with a new toy. "Also I can stay in any of my forms for as long as I want...well except my largest dragon form." He said just before turning into his electric form and going into the power lines for a second to get a sweep of the buildings layout. @SnowFeather @Newtype

Feather turned into her cat form as she sneaked into the lair, looking around. "Nice place.." She muttered before walking up to sit next to Kai. She leaned against his leg and meowed, waiting to see if he would pet her. Her smoky tail curled over her paws.

 

[Field Marshall]

"So you can only move through an active line, that's weird. Then of course if it's electricity that flows through the line or some raw energy. For example, all the tech and appliances in here have energy converters meaning energy doesn't have to be electrical when it reaches them. Meaning floa through these lines at the wrong time and you could end up killing yourself. But enough about that." Kai warned. He raised an eyebrow at the cat and figured it must be shifter. He pet the cat feeling a little odd in doing so though.


His computer pinged signaling the download was done. He removed the data drive and crushed it in his hand. He typed a code into the computer and out of one of slots came a smartphone. Through it he accessed the downloaded files as he cycled through them he saw the replacement politicians were all of the Gon clan.'"So this is a family business. Explains why Gon Cho never talked." He commented. Then he turned to Feather and Max. "I shall prepare to kick some clan." He said with a smile at his bad pun. He got up and entered the main part. He returned a few minutes later in a different outfit.

Feather was still in her cat form and hopped up on a desk, meowing. "Nice." Was all she said before jumping up to sit on Max's shoulder. She laid down, being very small in her cat form, and twitched her ears. "Can I come? I know you won't need my help, nor do you want it.. I just.. Eh, forget it." She said, her eyes glowing as she waved her tail. As she finished her sentence, her tail dropped and she rested her head on Max's shoulder, her eyes darkening. @Peaceswore

'I never said I couldn't travel through an inactive wire, it just takes up more of my energy. I only travel through wire for show, I can move at the speed of light but that's only when I'm serious.' Max thought with a sigh as he jumped out of the supercomputer. "What's with that lame outfit?" He asked as he laid down on one of he chairs and stared at Kai's clothing, while gently petting the cat on his shoulder. @Newtype @SnowFeather

 

[Field Marshall]

"Thank you Feather good to know you atleast appreciate a change in outfit. It couldn't hurt to have another on my side. You could prove useful so I would appreciate your help Feather." Kai said then he turned to Max. "It's a simple outfit change, would you go through the whole day without changing you look even a bit. If so then I guess you're just not one for the fashion aspect of kicking ass. Speaking of kicking ass why don't you hop into my battle ring. Need to know the limits of the guy who's backing me up, to let me know if you'll be helpful or dead weight in a the heat of battle. Kai gestured to a circular platform in the far corner of the main part of the hideout. Kai simply walked and began the system commands to fire up to the battle ring.

Feather shot off of Max's shoulder, her tail in the air. She turned human as she walked after Kai, eager to watch the fight. Her eyes were shifting into a shade of purple and blue, showing that she was excited. She bit her lower lip and ran her fingers through her hair once to straighten the blonde curls, letting them fall down her shoulders, the upper part of her back showing as the dress was made that way. "Ugh, I wish I could fight, but you'd just overpower me.. Not fair and not fun." She complained, clenching her fists.

"You want to fight? Ok I guess. And I don't have a lot of different outfits, I just have multipule of this one." He stated gesturing to what he was wearing. With a sigh he put his phone somewhere else as he walked to the ring. ((Do you guys want me to describe what Max is wearing?)) @Newtype @SnowFeather

"Easy Feather." Kai said once he finished the system commands. As the system fabricated the battlefield the world around the three of them became 0s and 1s and the platform. "Dang kind of feel bad you have multiple of the same clothes. I always valued diversity." Kai said replying to Max. As the battlefield appeared which was a rocky area, Kai motioned for Feather to retreat to a safe distance.


Kai said "Static you get the first move. Come serious or pay the price." Kai's began to emit his chi aura with a mighty roar of anticipation.

Feather scurried away a bit, crouching on the ground. She sighed as she waited for them to start, her eyes glowing and her teeth glistening as she smiled. "Come on, get on with the fighting part ladies.." She snapped as she turned into her wolf form, lashing her tail over the ground, her strong legs supporting her light body.

Max stood there for a bit and smiled sadly. "Though I would love to go full out...I prefer not to kill everyone with in a ten mile radius." He stated. He fixed his gloves before suddenly appearing next Kai sending three punches at the speed of light to his side and doing a spinning kick with such force Kai flew back a bit. Max landed on his feet not even breathing heavy. "I hope you don't go easy one me. If you do I can tell and I won't fight." He stated bluntly. @Newtype @SnowFeather
