"Oh so your brother is in the same boat as me, huh so at least I have a partner in this cruel state" he said grinning as he brightened up a bit for not being the only in this kind of state. "And besides what about you your a beautiful girl that should be able to get some lucky guy, hell I would be lucky to" he said not thinks no as he said that just letting it slip out as he ordered his food with some coffee.​

Lauryn saw her brother sitting beside her, and she looked in all seriousness at her brother. "Look. You can give me the notes at home." She hissed at him, then hiding her face. When Athena talked, she looked up at her with a sort of awe in her eyes. "Well. To be honest. Yes. I'm just letting you know, I'm nothing like him." She made clear, taking another bite of the Elvis burrito.

Alex looked up and gave a simple nod, letting her know they could talk later about it.


Pull up a chair join our band of misfits, your a year below us right?





He asked as he pushed up next to Athena, the kid looked scared so he decided to go easy.


So hows life with her majesty Lauryn?, everything we dream it possibly can be?


He asked as he opened a can of Red Bull and drank some. He knew as the top runner in the school he was technically a jock but he never really sat with them.





Rayna:





She gave a chuckle as her food was put in front of her.

She stirred her coke with a straw looking thoughtful at Ash's question, she never really thought about herself and her romantic life.


I never really gave it much thought to be honest, I mean I just go with the flow if it happens it happens.





She blushed at Ash's statement not really sure if he was even aware he had let it slip.

Brooklyn looked up as he talked to her, she leaned back in her chair and looked at him, in a way trying to remember him, she ran her fingers through her hair "Nice" she said simply​

Athena shrugged, "Would it be bad if you were like him?" Athena asked her eyes looking back and forth at both of them, "Neither of you seem bad." Athena took a sip of her juice. Athena looked over at the boy and patted the seat, "Please take a seat." She then quietly laughed at Alex's comment, shaking her head.​

Acer Jones


He tensed up, feeling tears prickle at his eyes. He hadn't expected a warm welcome but that...honestly he would have preferred to have been slapped in the face because that's how he felt in the pit of his stomach. "I'm Acer. We're actually twins. Not that it apparently means much I'm seeing." Shit. He was starting to cry. he swallowed, hoping nobody would look at the warm tears that slowly slipped down his cheeks. For once, he was glad his hair covered up a portion of his face. He hadn't felt so alone since he was cheated on by his ex and lost all of his friends. "Forget it Lauryn. I tried being helpful when you texted me about class, but if you're going to act like my existing is such a fucking burden to you, then I suppose my help is equally unnecessary." he clutched his pants, ignoring the pain as he sat down.


"Thanks. Sorry for the intrusion...I won't bother you again after today." He glanced at the boy near them, choking on the beginnings of a sob as he forced out a laugh. "Home is fine. I stay in my room most of the time, so I don't think it would be any different if my twin sister was her or any other girl."

Lauryn Jones

"Wait." She called to Acer. "I'm sorry." Lauryn felt really bad for her brother and looked over at him. "Look. You're a human too. I'm just too opinionated right now. Come have a seat. I don't mind." She said, patting at the seat next to her. Then she stared at the others to look for their reactions. She didn't want the impression that she was just as nasty as Quinn. She knew how lonely he was, and she felt bad. Today she was going to help him out, if he was going to help her out.

Alex just looked at Athena and shrugged, he knew how siblings could fight since he fought with his own twin from time to time but this...this was something else.


He shrugged and drank his Red Bull.

He went back to drinking his Redbull, the conversation looking interesting. He felt sorry for the kid but knew nothing about what had gone on.

Athena tilted her head, he could tell that his voice was shaky. She patted him on the arm gently in a friendly way, trying to show she cared. Athena glanced over at Alex when he shrugged. Athena had a feeling he knew how siblings can fight, Athena never knew how that felt, she has always been the only child, getting everything her little heart desires.

Athena stopped with patting Acer when his sister spoke up. Athena smiled and nodded in approval to what she said, "Thats sweet of you."​

Once the group settled back down Alex spoke again


Ok so my folks are away for the weekend so I think drinking is mandatory for friday night





Alex ripped out a piece of paper and wrote down the 4 of their names down.


So with my sister and ash making 6 who else we gonna invite?





He asked looking around the group for any suggestions

"Welcome might be a stretch, but I appreciate the gesture." A misfit among misfits. Amusing, huh? He shrunk into himself and made sure there was space between himself and his sister, in case she decided to change her mind.


The patting was strangely comforting, calming him enough to stop crying. "It's good to meet you guys. Thanks again. It's pretty tough to find a place to sit where you're not likely to have a tray dumped over your head or head home with a few new bruises." he chuckled a little, pushing his hair out of his blue eyes as he looked at the group of people that were sitting there. They certainly seemed to be a collective. And if they were able to get his sister to start acting more like her old self, then he wouldn't mind getting to know them better. "Wait, a party?"

Ash looked at Ranya and laughed a little "Yep brothers in arms looks like that's what we are" he said as he got his sand which and started eating after he swallowed his first bit that was like heaven in a burger which was every burger he tried he said " Really your not the romantic type, yell that's to bad huh" he said as he gave a little chuckle "I was going to ask you to be my girl" he said as he kept chuckling.​

Rayna rolled her eyes while drinking her coke. She was not going to comment as everything was up in the air. To be honest its not that she was no romantic its just she never was the type to attract attention very much. She was always the friend to help others out and tended to neglect herself. Her brother had called her out on her behavior but she never gave it much thought.


She blushed as she bit into her own burger enjoying the proper food that the school never seemed to give them.

"Ha did I hit a soft spot do you have a thing for me because if you do I'll answer you definitely, I don't ever leave anyone hanging" he said as he flexed and patted his muscle marking a grin as he did. He thought "Wow when I'm with Ranya I don't think about Sabrina as a lover that much maybe I have a thing for Ranya but never found out until now....maybe maybe not time will just tell what will happen as he shrugged inwardly and started eating again.​

Smiling to herself she thought 2 can play this game.

She placed a hand over her heart dramatically and gave a snort of laughter before returning to her food. She was enjoying hanging out with Ash and she did being to think what if it was to become something more but she did not mention anything. Time would tell what would happen. She would have to prepare herself for the possibility that Ash and Sabrina may get together.

Lauryn turned her attention towards everyone at the table, rather than her wondering ocean eyes. "This right here is Athena." She pointed towards Athena. "I met her at the begging of the day before Q started talking to me." She then looked at the guy. "This one is apparently Alex. As said by Athena." She said pointing with raised eyebrows. "So. . . Party?" She asked, turning her attention towards Alexey.

She gave a gentle smile she twirled the straw in her glass as the waitress cleared their table.


I'm not going to lie I mean I have thought about it but I always assumed you and Sabrina would end up together so I let the idea go"


She blushed at the confession, why she was telling him these things she had no idea, she was generally a private person so speaking so openly


to someone other than her brother was shocking for her. Her cheeks blushed slightly as she focused on her coke again.





Alexey:





Alex grinned and nodded.


Yup my parents are away for the weekend so naturally drinks have to be consumed its like the law


He started thinking about where they could get booze and who would come to the party.

He asked looking as Acer, Athena and Lauryn

"You let the Idea go man I thought females were suppose to be the braver ones, and besides I would have gave it a chance to see how it plays out so of course I will" he said to Ranya with a smile that had a little blush in it "but I still won't be able to forget about Ranya like that for a while if that's ok with you" he said as he took a drink out of his coffee. "Oh and do you have anything for me to do tonight because I don't have anything to do tonight besides taking Sabrina to a movie since I haven't seen her while I was on tour but after that I'm free" as he smiled.​

Mina walked in to the music room and looked around, seeing that it was empty and the teacher was also gone she picked up a guitar and began tuning it. " Seems like i'm playing lone wolf on the first day . " She chuckles to herself and started playing and singing an acoustic version of Love me by Jess Glynne.

Rayna got out her purse and paid for her food while standing up waiting for Ash to join her.

"Huh your doing nothing but homework tonight...what about your brother he has to be doing something crazy right?" Ash said as he paid for his meal and got up and walked towards Ranya saying "we better get back to school before were late" as he smiled at her and started walking towards her car.​

Jon took a seat next to Brooklyn and said "Hey how is your day going? So are you going to cave in and tell me about tonight?" Jon was starting to get nervous about tonight and what it had planed. Jon looked at the other guys and said "I am the QB for the number one high school football team" Jon thinks he likes Brooklyn.

Rayna shrugged as they walked, she was not sure what Alex had planned.


I think its best that I don't know what he does, gives me deniability if the police come knocking





she added playfully as she sat into the car and buckled up. Letting Ash get into the passenger seat before she started the car and drove back to the school parking lot. The day was nearly over but school was school and she was not looking forward to the afternoon.


So what happens now?





She asked as they drove. She knew there would be talk of her swooping in on Ash and Sabrina and that made her nervous.
