Name: Nimo Rivera

Nimo is petite with a toned, athletic figure, often obscured by baggy, comfortable clothing. She has dark hair cut short, a downward sloping nose, wide set brown eyes, and a diamond shaped face.
Backstory: Nimo grew up in the shopping district of Argon City, where her family owns a beauty supply store. She was raised working there as part of her chores, first just with basic custodial duties and later with more complex assignments. She, her folks, and her little brother live on the floor above the store for the sake of convenience.
Her parents are somewhat old fashioned and didn't choose to genetically modify her beyond the typical disease-and-allergy-immunity bundle, which she sometimes resents them for. While other kids are pre-programmed to be exceptionally good at math, music, or engineering, she's just...there. She doesn't quite know what she's good at or what she's "meant" to do. She grew up happy enough, attending a public school and getting along well enough there with good grades and plenty of friends. She participated in extracurriculars, has a good relationship with her family, and things feel fair enough in her life, but she can't help but feel like there's something missing.
Personality: Nimo is a silly girl with lots of energy and a desire to both work hard and play hard. She's determined and strong, but she tends to choose keeping the peace over unnecessary conflict, so she can be something of a pushover at times. She thinks of this as choosing her battles carefully. Lately, since she feels she's being left behind by the rest of her friends and classmates, who have pretty much solidified their future life paths, she's been a bit irritable and grumpy. Rather than being released in the form of play, her energy has taken to boiling inside of her in silent anger at the world that keeps on spinning without her.
Goals: To find her purpose...whatever that means.

Backstory: Erin was taken in at a young age and Injected with a fatal implant as an experiment within a small gang deep within a crime syndicate, Has since been blackmailed by the said syndicate to work for them as no known cure has been made for the illness, but a suppressant does exist that nullifies its side effects temporarily and is consistently provided for her as long as she accomplishes and does as they wish.

The benefits of the implant result in many improved physical attributes and a larger amount of endurance, but the negative effects tend to take a toll upon receiving the suppressant, resulting in heavy headaches, exhaustion and fatigue, resulting in the subject typically being at either their physical best, or their physical worst.
Personality: Fidgety, uncomfortable, erratic and irritable, has a tough time holding conversations, especially when suffering from withdrawal of the antidote. Seems constantly worried and words tend to be and sound forced
Goals: Continue living until a cure is developed
Gear: A small metal mask that can expand a small visor in-front of her eyes to conceal her identity
Minor armour on her knees and elbows to help aid in running
Other: The implant causes almost constant adrenaline until the user receives a suppressant or they receive a heart attack, Erin tends to avoid fighting and is untrained in any real form of combat

Backstory:
Aella was born into a low class family. She never had anything growing up except some clothes and a blanket. She wasn't loved by her parents because she was just another mouth to feed. So when she was twelve she left her family and set about finding something better for herself. She got a cheap job and made some money to get herself going. She eventually worked herself up to a better job for more money and bought a tiny apartment for herself. She began collecting bits of equipment and machinery to build herself a computer and later an empty android. When she was seventeen she got in an accident with a car and lost feeling in both legs from the waist down. She was able to fully recover after a trip to the hospital, but she could no longer continue her job.
After a period of depression and anger, she adjusted a program to her needs and hooked up the android to her computer. She was able to live outside again without the need for her legs. She could work and do everything she needed. She customized it to look however she wanted and took it for a test run. Now she lives through her android "avatar" in the safety of her apartment.
Personality:
Aella is very kind, but apprehensive around people. She's afraid of people getting too close and realizing what's going on and taking pity on her. She loves hanging out with people she knows and trusts.
Goals:
She wants to live her life as normally as possible.

She has a wheelchair with special wheels that allow her up stairs, but she hardly uses it.
She has cheap implants that allow her simple movements in her legs, but they can't support her weight.

Name: Reese Lancaster
Age: 27
Appearance: Reese has a square face, a slight toned figure, and olive skin. Her eyes are a deep brown and she keeps her long, dark hair in dreadlocks. Her height is quite tall for her age, marking at around 5'9ft (175.26cm). Since she decided to become a bounty hunter, Reese had some modifications done to her body to aid her for heavy duty jobs. Both her legs have been modified to help her jump higher and survive leaping from tall ledges. Her right eye had been fixed to enhance her perception, enabling her to see farther when needed which won't require her to use scoped guns.

Backstory: At a young age, Reese had spent most of her childhood at Angel's Haven Orphanage within the underground slums of Argon City until the age of 6. After being adopted by a middle-class family, she was taken away from the slums and moved into a spacious condo in the downtown area of the city. Her adoptive father was a decent stockbroker, earning him a common title for himself in the city. Her mother worked from home, often writing columns for the local newspaper or attempting to get herself published. Reese's brother was mostly absent at home since her arrival and showed signs of resentment towards her. He would leave in the earlier hours before the sun rose and return late at night. With the constant disappearance of her brother, her parents spent more time doting on her leaving him as an outcast. Her father began to be tougher on her brother, setting restrictions that would make the situation worse off than it already was. One day her brother didn't return from his usual outings causing Reese to instantly suspect something was amiss. She volunteered to search for him in the city, but when she returned home with nothing they had nothing to do but wait until he decided to return. A week or so went by before her mother was informed of an incident concerning her father. The police department instantly ruled it as an accident, but Reese suspected foul play. When she was old enough, Reese informed her mother of wanting to become a bounty hunter. She was reluctant at first, the fear of losing the only child she had left causing her to disagree with Reese's job choice. But the more she prodded that maybe this was the only way she could bring light to her father's murder, her mother saw there was no point in trying to change her mind. Reese relocated within the underground slums, finding it easier to take job opportunities from others by being in the sleaziest part of town. She saw being closer to where the crimelords operated got her one step closer to finding the truth of her brother's disappearance and father's murder.
Personality: Reese is a very robust woman. She's loud, rowdy, and would never back down from a fight if she saw the opportunity for one. She lives for adrenaline and finds life to be boring if she has nothing to occupy her with that rush. The only person that Reese wouldn't show off her bounty hunter persona was towards her mother, whom she was able to relax and reveal her true emotions towards.
Goals: Find her brother and the truth about her father's murder. Clear out the crimelords of the city.

Backstory: Orphaned at a young age
during a riot, Mitchell has been living everywhere and nowhere within Argon City. Growing up in the underground, he’s survived this long by taking from rundown food vendors and selling whatever tech he either stole or taught himself to fix each week. Throughout his little ‘excursions’, Mitchell learned his way around quite a few security systems and disabled his fair share of electronic weaponry, most of which were aimed at him. Also, his agility can be accredited to the law enforcement and one or two gangs, assuming they’re not one in the same, who oddly never seem to stop chasing him. Yet Mitchell never stayed in one place for long, whether he was being tailed or gave himself some other excuse, he could never bring himself to stay put for more than a week and a half. He’s just glad Argon is a large enough city for his travels.​
Personality: Mitchell, while usually a loner,
has quite the mouth on him. Seemingly able to infuriate both the A.C.P.D and crime lords at the same exact time with ease. Yet despite the wit he tries to be kind, at least to the children left out on the streets.​
Goals: To continue surviving, and to finally

Backstory: J.C grew up pretty wealthy, with his mother being a fashion designer and his father a senior software engineer at Sagax. J.C was spoiled growing up, always getting what he wanted. He was after all an only child and would get whatever he wanted from his parents. As he got older and more independent he started to be more ambitious and cocky. He was an excellent student in school with a high work ethic, but this all got to his head and developed a strong feeling of narcissism, thinking he was the best. When he went to college for criminal justice as with the issues brewing from the underground, he felt he had endless opportunity to make a name for himself. But when he was looking for work, he felt the ACPD gave him a salary that was below his stature until he came across U-ICE (United Investigations and Civil Enforcement) who were recruiting those proficient in criminal justice. Seeing his starting salary he immediately joined without knowing what the job really was. He was automatically given a desk and an office, being made an investigator. His first case was to help the APCD on a case regarding a homicide. He solved the case with ease showing up the cops and gaining recognition by the public for his speed in solving the case. He was given more cases to solve. Overtime he worked more on his own, succeeding at every turn until he was the youngest lieutenant at 25 in U-ICE's Office of Investigations. Later he was offered to work on more critical cases by his captain with a boost in his salary. He immediately took the offer and started training in firearms and hand to hand combat. Then he started working with the Office of Security against organized crime in the underground, where he busted a narcotics trafficking ring at the age of 28.

Personality: Cocky, narcissistic, privileged, and full of himself. On top of that however, he is dedicated to what he does and will get what he wants. He is not afraid to hurt others to fulfill his goals. He's not good when it comes to working with others, thinking they may slow him down.

Helix is a tall, muscular man that moves with a grace that evidences his athleticism. His silver hair is cropped short and his rectangle shaped face contains a pronounced nose and jawline. His golden irises and silver hair are gifts from his parents, as he is a "designer baby", genetically modified at conception. His skin, which he likes to change up from time to time, is currently dyed green, and he keeps a clean shaven face when he can afford it with his busy schedule. He has geometric tattoos on his face, chest, back, and shoulders.
Backstory: Helix was raised by a librarian father and a surgeon mother in the high-end residential district of Argon City. He was treated with respect and love, along with some fairly strict expectations. Two scholarly proficient parents expected their child to go above and beyond, earn high marks in school, keep busy with extracurriculars, and settle on a respectable career path. When designing their child, they requested an exceptional ability for discipline and work ethic, but they kept clear of asking for any specific aptitudes. They wanted him to choose his path (somewhat) for himself.
Upon finding his development had begun to steer away from a path similar to that of his parents, they began to regret that decision.
From a young age, Helix showed a love of athleticism. Even if he wasn't good at some sports, he loved them all and could usually be found at the park, the local rec center, or the school's gymnasium. What at first was a healthy hobby became a worrying aspiration as he began to admire and idolize famous athletes, fantasizing about one day joining their ranks. When asked what he wanted to pursue when he got older, his answer always involved one planetary sport league or another. As he reached secondary and tertiary school, this became more and more of an issue and his parents insisted on his finding a more practical use of his time.
At last, they made a deal. His parents would allow him to pursue his passion for three years. After that, he would have to buckle down and get with the real world. Unfortunately, they didn't anticipate his quick and overwhelming success.

Helix had started kinetic racing in tertiary school in kinetics club and had caught the eye of several scouts at local and national competitions. He was quickly recruited and picked up by the Argon national league team, initially signing a five year contract with them. His success was unprecedented for someone who hadn't been genetically modified specifically for athleticism or engineering. Seeing that his dream wasn't so unrealistic or impractical after all, his parents finally relented and agreed to support him in his endeavors. He currently lives in a nice apartment paid for by his employers and spends his days training, working, partying, and training some more.
Personality: Helix is a hard working, disciplined individual who makes his decisions carefully and sticks to them fiercely. He's fairly inflexible and doesn't relent from his stance, even at the cost of conflict and, in extreme cases, friendships. It takes a lot for him to admit that he is wrong, but when he does, he is sincere. His manner is blunt and straightforward, but always with a smile. He doesn't care much for the politics and bureaucracy that comes in his line of work with pleasing sponsors, fans, and interviewers, but he can manage basic respect and politeness. He also loves adrenaline and thrills, tapping into his inner child whenever he gets the chance to do so and it won't affect his work.
Goals: To take his team to the top, planetary champions

Backstory: Ringmaster is an armed and dangerous lunatic, if you see him or someone who resembles him, run, hide, and call A.C.P.D immediately. Subject is skinny, 6"5 and highly dangerous.


(Ringmaster was a soldier, then a mercenary, then a assassin, he found that he was good at killing and he enjoyed it, but it got boring, he has long forgotten his name and old life, instead trying to find someone who can bring back the joy, the adrenaline of a kill well deserved. Through his years he has gotten more and more augmentations to the point that he is more machine than man. Through all that though he isn't a man without morals, he will not kill innocent civilians, he will not deal in slave labor, and he will defend someone helpless, some of this comes from his military days, but it does not change is purpose.)

Personality: Ringmaster is a man out for one thing and one thing only, to enjoy himself in whatever way he can, to the point that he will kill for a fight, literally, as long as he doesn't break his moral code, he will do anything to feel the rush.

Goals: To find someone who can bring back they joy

Other: Ringmaster has his finger in almost every crime ring in the underground, and those that don't do something he asks for are quickly found dead by the police, due to this he is hard to track down using multiple different ID's under different names, and when one starts to gather attention he moves on to another, most of these are from people he has killed

She however, does not wear a mask. She prefers people to know who killed them, or try and find her. She'll kill them too, until she probably doesn't.
Age: 22
Appearance: Victoria could be easily described as a monstrosity of lovecraftian proportion, but she usually takes offence to that. Rather, she is of a average, and compact build of 5'7". She is rather angular in her facial features, with a pointed chin and slanted eyes, but a rounded nose and lips that seem to curl into a sly smile. She possesses an extra pair of eyes just above her first set, nearly sharing the eyesocket with the first, original pair. A extra set of arms, two in fact, complements her shoulder blades, her pinky, ring, and middle finger fused together on her tertiary hands for ease of access with weapons. Her hair is cropped short, just at shoulder length. The back of her original palms possess a single eye on each. Eyes dot her inner thighs, and her stomach. This obsession with eyes is partially due to her body-mod addiction, but also for ease of spying and awareness. She doesn't use all of her eyes, all the time, as she can only process so many pieces of input at a time.

Backstory: Ever since she was young, Victoria was a fighter. She fought against her parents when she didn't get what she wanted. She fought against other students when they tried to push her around. She fought against the law when she did wrong 'by their standards'. All of this fight in one little body didn't get her anywhere she wanted in life, aside from landing her one friend she stuck to- Mara. Ever since childhood, the two were inseparable, Victoria being the brute, and Mara doing the planning. However, as they grew up, Mara's plans and execution became more and more involved with a group of close-knit dangerous individuals that asked for a lot. In the past, they stole little trinkets and snacks from convenience stores. Now, they covertly robbed banks, the lives of people in the way disregarded as 'necessary costs' for their ultimate goal. Victoria started against this when she noticed that Mara began to owe them for the favors she was receiving, but her concerns were put off and dismissed time and time again.

Then one day, Mara disappeared. She contacted their contractors, and said that her debt was paid. Furious, but unable to do anything, she struck out on her own doing mercenary work. Sometimes for U-ICE, sometimes for smaller private businesses, and sometimes for personal contracts. All of her money however, went not to upgrading her arsenal, but to upgrading herself. She had her own body modified over and over and over and over again for the sake of becoming a weapon. Her friend was gone, and there wasn't much she could do about it now, but if she simply could get stronger, she could dig up the truth.

Personality: Victoria is bombastic, preferring a destructive, explosive claymore to the precise, undetected scalpel approach. In her missions, it's her job to ensure that nobody sees her, and she neutralises or capture her targets, by any means. Her philosophy rings loud and clear with her quarry. "Can't be discovered if there is nobody to discover me!" With her extra arms and enhanced awareness, she's a monster in gunfights. Her communication skills however... 'Lacking' would be an understatement. She only ever works and works and kills, so small talk isn't something she does. Neither is exposing her feelings for why she does her job, or even the relative monotony that she undergoes every day, doing the same exact thing in a different fashion. She has little moral inhibition to use others for her own good, but only feels a tinge of guilt whenever others pay the price she inflicts upon them, before telling herself that they probably deserved it.

She enjoys getting new modifications, and upgrading her arsenal. She also enjoys her alone time, but can tolerate people for a time. She greatly appreciates eating things that aren't the usual protein slurry that usually gets her going in the middle of a mission. Despite her somewhat sociopathic tendencies, she loves the company of others, even if it's silent. She usually works alone, so having a companion every once in a while is a nice change of pace.

Goals: Find Mara, kill people, get more eyes. A usual Friday night for her, really.

Gear:
Shock, Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression, and Acceptance: Six guns, all stylized to the six stages of grief, because killing people usually leads to other people going through this. Each of her pistols are customised, but are generally the same in function and purpose: Shoot dudes quickly and have an easy one-handed reload. She has multiple holsters all over her lower body.

Backstory:
Born into a family of Christian missionaries working in the slums of Argon City, Marcus was the oldest of three sons. Together the boys (affectionally nicknamed the "Three Bishops") helped out their parents wherever they could with making soup for the homeless, cleaning the Bishop's shelter or helping their father with the sick and injured unable to afford care at a hospital.
Once Marcus grew up he continued to try and help out whenever and wherever he could. Despite corruption being on the rise during his late teenage years Marcus continued to maintain a relatively positive outlook on life. He argued that there would always be a need for people to help those in need.

Eventually Marcus found himself joining the Argon City Police Department at age 20. He had finished his police training at 22, Special Police Assault Course (SPAC) at 23 and a Counter-Terrorism & Negotiations Course (CTNC) at 25.
Despite growing corruption Marcus managed to carry on, always eager to help the little man.

After a while he even married a private investigator whom he had worked a case on. Once they had their first child, Elizabeth Bishop, Marcus realized that if his work was to have any effect on society as well as on his family he had to aim bigger.
Marcus used his political connections through the ACCP and Social Liberals to rub shoulders and, after a while, managed to secure extra funding for the establishment of a special police taskforce dedicated to fight only the most hardened of criminals.

Enter Taskforce Taurus: consisting of the best patrol officers, investigators and ex-ACPD SWAT this elite unit operates relatively independent from the main ACPD organization. Most of the time Taskforce Taurus operates deep in both legal and moral grey-zones (much to Marcus's discomfort) but despite their unorthodox methods there's no denying just how effective they are.

Personality: Calm, kind, honest and loyal.
Goals: Dismantle the major crime syndicates inside the city and take down the Most Wanted of Argon City.

Backstory:
The daughter of Marcus Bishop, commander of Taskforce Taurus, Elizabeth grew up with a lot of expectations on her shoulders. Despite her warm and caring parents Elizabeth knew that her father especially expected nothing but the best from her. Elizabeth pushed herself to be more than that. With zero augmentations Elizabeth- or 'Liz' as her friends call her- managed to rack up impressive scores at both athletics, mathematics and engineering at school.
Upon graduating she secretly enlisted with the ACPD and because of her wits and high intellect she was accepted into the ACPD's Gang Unit.

Because the officers working with the Gang Unit are at constant risk of being harmed, killed or used by organized criminals and other corrupt parties their identities and job descriptions are closely guarded secrets- even from their own colleagues.

While it saddened Elizabeth that her father would never know the truth about how she makes a living she argued that if he knew he would have been proud.

Now Elizabeth finds herself working in the shadows of a city in desperate need for peace as two criminals syndicates prepare for all-out war.
Personality: Eager, curious and witty.
Goals: To prove herself and complete her mission at any personal cost.

Backstory: Little Blue was born into a broken family in the suburbs of a far-away city on another continent. His father was a good man. Unfortunately, he lost his job due to a localized market collapse. He turned to crime out of necessity, but his wife (Blue's mother,) didn't like that and the two began to argue and outright resent each other. Seeing a lot of her husband in Blue, Blue's mother began to resent him as well, and when Blue's little sister, Emma, was born when he was ten, Blue's mother completely turned her attention to her and ignored both husband and son.

The family broke apart soon after, with Blue's mother suing his father and pretty much kicking Blue out when he was fourteen. With nowhere else to go, he went to live with his aunt Vav, a badass mercenary woman who shot first and asked questions later. He had met her only scantly before that, maybe twice or thrice, and she taught him, among other things, how to protect himself when he was a kid. After he came to live with her, Vav, whose husband and two daughters were dead by that point, saw a son figure in him. In time, he began to see her as his mother in turn.

She passed onto him what she knew about the job; all of the grungy details of contacting mafia bosses and police departments to obtain work, clean or otherwise, and then fulfilling said contracts to the dot to receive pay and notoriety on the scene. Fighting, shooting, using explosives for controlled demolition, and combat driving was after that. It was her way of trying to help him be successful in life. Of course, he still went to school for all his childhood, but pretty much detached himself from any hopes (or despair) of ever being a store clerk or white-collar corporate drone.

When he was twenty and already beginning to get the hang of how the world of bounty hunting worked, Blue and Vav moved to Argon City due to a dispute with the crime syndicates of their previous location. Badass mercenaries or not, they weren't stupid, and sure as hell not taking unnecessary risks.

They operated in Argon City for nearly a decade, when a job hunting a serial bomber went wrong and Vav was critically injured and bedridden for several months. After that, she had to give up on mercenary work for health reasons, and now lives with Blue in the city, while he does bounty hunting work to provide.

Personality: To say Blue is a good person is wrong, but he's far from the usual scum you see walking down the street that will attack you with an empty vodka bottle and steal your wallet while you're stunned. In terms of demeanor, Blue is almost perpetually calm and speaks little, but he appreciates a little verbal spar or quip-at-quip every now and then. Drinks alcohol and takes diazepam with concerning regularity.

He doesn't use bioware or cybernetic enhancements due to aunt Vav's belief (somewhat old-fashioned) that they do nothing but disfigure the body and provide little help to the user. He, himself, has nothing against either, but would rather not disappoint or anger her needlessly.

He has several contacts with the local police department and crime syndicates, and though he has a few acquaintances and occasional drinking buddies among both, it'd be difficult to say he's playing for either side, pretty much straddling the line of what is legal and illegal.

He cares greatly for his aunt/surrogate mother/mentor-in-all-things-bounty-hunter, Vav, and would pretty much flay alive anyone who did something to her, though he's aware that even in her state, she can take perfect care of herself.

When it comes to killing, he makes it a hard rule not to go too rough on anyone who's never hurt another man, or doesn't intend to. For killers - especially ones known for ruthlessness - his usual policy is to shoot first and shoot to kill, and indeed has a bit of an itchy trigger finger.

He's received enough training in combat, investigation, suspect capture, interrogation, and torture methods, to be a drill sergeant for newbie police officers. "Watch the hands, the hands are what will kill you."

Goals: To work for the highest bidder and provide for his aunt. Hunting the Ringmaster.

Backstory: Markus was just your average typical working man, working the sites and helping building the homes and businesses of those who paid for the construction company he worked for. He showed loyalty to his contracts and always made sure to get the job done quickly and efficiently. Unfortunately the competition wasn’t very fond of that and made sure that Markus had an....unfortunate construction accident. Which he did and it was bad. One day a whole rack of beams “suddenly” fell and landed upon him. The rescue team was quick to get there but when they did they found he suffered cranial damage involving a fractured skull, his spine damaged as well limiting the movement in his legs. Not that it mattered since his legs and arms were also gravely injured. Everyone thought he wasn’t going to make it. But Markus was never one to give up.
Refusing to die in a hospital he got in trouble many times for attempting to leave to get back to work despite his injuries and even went as far as to try to get people to help him sneak out. This went on till the top construction company took notice of Markus and offered him a job instead. Atlas corporation, the company that built the world up and kept it held it up offered Markus a job and an exo for use for his damaged body. They needed his mind, his can do attitude and determined spirit. Mysteriously their own workers had also suffered accidents as well while other companies profited from Atlas’ loss. And with Markus’ help they assumed they can get back on top since the man always got the job done quickly and efficiently.
Needless to say it paid off, many accidents ended up being thwarted by Markus and his exo, beams being knocked out of the way or the many using himself as a shield. And then one day he caught one of the saboteurs. And he recognized him, he saw that very same stranger on the day that he suffered his own accident. This man was in the process of weakening some steel wires when Markus found him and turned him into Atlas. At that point he didn’t care what the company did with the man, only that they make sure he never hurt anyone ever again.

Personality: Big brother Markus is what the other workers would refer to him as due to his older sibling like behavior. Scolding those that needed it, helping others with something or helping them learn from their mistakes, sometimes even taking the blame for small things just to prevent his coworkers from getting in trouble since he knew Atlas would never fire him. He’s a caring and protective man who’s a stickler for the rules as well as sort of a push over depending on the situation. Othertimes he’s a brick wall that cannot be moved when it involves the health or safety of others. But he will absolutely show no forgiveness or mercy to those who knowingly and willingly endanger the lives of others, hence why he turned in the saboteur with no hesitation, especially not after he roughed the guy up a bit to prevent him from escaping.
Goals: To stop the other companies from sabotaging eachother and Atlas to prevent more accidents and death.

Backstory: Amanda is the head of the Social Liberal Party in the legislative council and leads the opposition to the Liberty Prosperity Alliance who run the government. She grew up to a middle class family, the oldest of three children. As the oldest sibling she always looked after younger brother and sister when her parents were working in civil service. Amanda would follow in the footsteps of her parents and work up the ranks from being a lawyer all the way up to a city legislator and the eventual chairman of the Social Liberal Party as the only person willing to stand up to the corporate takeover of the city and the LPA doing the will of the corporations. She also does her hardest to keep the party united in their cause for the common man. She is at odds with the ACPP every now and then but does her best to keep the two factions on the same page. Her presence on the council makes her a threat and many attempts have been made to depose her. But it will only be a matter of time before she becomes mayor of Argon City.

Personality: Amanda never holds grudges against anyone, especially political opponents. She likes to make more friends as she thinks it makes the target on her back smaller than it is. She is especially caring to her retired parents and younger siblings who attend university. A calm woman to say the least who never cracks under pressure. She always does things by the book and rarely improvises techniques.

Goal: Become mayor of Argon City and reform it.

Backstory: Shawn grew up an orphan to parents he never met. His uncle never wanted him so he put him into the foster system. It was a nightmare, always being mistreated by uncaring parents and siblings. He was always alone as a kid and so ran away to the underground trying to make some sort of living. He tried doing work as a scavenger for cyber tech, making him a target for the Gearjunkies. Of course his current run-ins would work as his learning experience for fighting. Soon he was able to handle himself in a fight and was one of the Gearjunkies number one enemies at the age of 16. Gearjunkie goons would be out to get him until one day he was eventually caught. Some goons were had caught him after he was being careless trying to steal some tech. They were gonna sell him to the Gearjunkies, and was kept in a dark room with no light and barely food or water for 2 weeks until the Military Police had come to kill his captors. Apparently these guys were responsible for a terrorist attack on the upper levels, a bombing in the corporate district that killed 72 people. the MP's found Shawn skin and bones. A poor malnourished boy with no home to speak of. He was taken in by the captain of the raid, Edgar Michelson who rose the boy. The two addressed each other by first name and Edgar was Shawn's guardian. At 18, Shawn volunteered to join the Military Police as a field officer. The youngest in his class who was always picked on by the other classmates who were either older than him or had a legacy to speak of. Shawn was an outcast but that didn't stop him from excelling in his class and being the few to actually graduate at the age of 25. For the rest of his life Shawn would work his way up the ranks to captain, known for dealing with high level fugitives and terrorists.

Personality: Shawn is a dutiful person who always does what he's told and excels at what is asked of him. He is a man of his word and does his best to protect those close to him such as his guardian and mentor, Edgar Michelson who's now a Deputy Chief for the MP and his squadmates. Of course his time as a scavenger made him witty and gave him street smarts of the underground. He can crack a sarcastic remark now and then and does his best to lift the spirits of those around him.

Backstory: Christopher Etchins is a man who truly never got over his disgust of bodies and the dead, a prime example of why he should have not become a coroner. He needed a career and the first thing that came to mind was becoming a coroner, so off to school he went. Etchins often thinks back to this as a horrible choice, especially now that he has to go through body after body examining each corpse, luckily letting the machines do most of the work. Chris does not have any family members or any friends for that matter, some might call him married to his job, but he would simply say that all he wanted to do was retire very early.



Personality: Christopher Etchins is a rather calm person, having thrown out all of his squeamishness far before now, replacing it with cold apathy towards the world. He holds grudges for a long time and thinks little of the new change that is coming across the city and he hates anything to do with crime. Christopher might Ben compare do to a typical middle aged man, however he has not yet hit his midlife crisis, but is due for one quite soon.

Goals: Retire early without being shot in the process

Backstory: Not many youth in Argon boast a life of prosperity, a city on the brink of collapse with the poor segregated from the rich; a tidal wave of crime and war rending families apart one city block at a time. Jeremiah's life was one of the lucky youth, but his family's fortunes were dipped in the blood of the innocent. His father, a feared crime boss, was a decent father and provider, his work life remained private to his home life, and whilst the young Jeremiah had little knowledge of current events at the time he would never forget the moment the Taurus Taskforce raided his home with brutal force. Deckard "The Kingfish Holden resisted the arrest and, to the horror of both son and wife, was executed. This moment was pivotal to shaping the future, and the broken woman - Jeremiah's mother - vanished without a trace after questioning.


Years of fury and confusion followed, Jeremiah's mind a haze of uncertainty. His life was sheltered from the actions of his father, but in the wake of his death the many horrors and atrocities he'd committed came to light; confronted with the truth, the youth's vengeful rage turned to a cloud of uncertainty. In the end, however, the teenager was unable to complete his journey of self-discovery. Having already fallen in with a questionable gang of thugs, at 16 Jeremiah was roped into a botched attempt at armed robbery. An idiotic attempt at desperate survival, one born of pure irony given, unbeknownst to the gang, Jeremiah's luscious bank account courtesy of his inheritance.

Originally, the heist went smooth, and despite his desire to run, Jeremiah knew should he attempt it he'd be killed by the same gang he'd come to be a part of. Tragedy arrived alongside the Police, a blazing car chase was never on the cards, outmatched and in way over their heads, Jeremiah urged the group to stop and surrender peacefully, their refusal lead to the brash action of attempting to wrestle the wheel, and, as one might expect the car swerved and smashed into an oncoming truck. Jeremiah was the only survivor, but his arm was mangled horrifically, his body shutting down in the wake of a brain hemorrhage. Rushed to emergency recovery, Jeremiah spent several months comatose in a hospital bed, upon recovery he could scarcely remember the most basic of words and his past was nothing but a blurry haze.

Approached by a strange man, Jeremiah was slowly urged into a conscious state and, once coherent, was reminded of the considerable funds at his disposal. The man promised that for a large sum, he could turn Jeremiah's injuries into boons of strength capable of incredible feats of power. Lost, confused, hurt and most of all, desperate for any sort of clarity, he accepted. The transaction was easily etched out of someone who could barely remember to walk, but the syndicate came through with their offer and restructured his incomplete brain with advanced cybernetics as well as a newly fitted arm. Maybe out of respect for the Kingfish, maybe for their own ulterior motives, they upgraded a teenage boy into a machine capable of great feats.

Upon completion, Jeremiah's memory was still gone, but his mind was sharp and astute, his reactions on point and the strength exerted by his robotic arm was enough to match most of bodybuilding's greatest feats. Since then, Jeremiah works as a messenger between gangs and often dabbles in bodyguarding duty. Despite his memory loss, his moral compass remains relatively in-tact and the syndicate in which employs him uses his talents in a way they can manipulate. More than once, he's acted as a glorified hitman, intimidating targets so long as direct violence isn't employed. Though, should such missions go awry with the target fighting back, they carry heavy injuries as a result.

Personality: Outside of the years lost, Jeremiah is a thrill-seeking and highly energetic individual, his free time is often spent attempting highly dangerous stunts of reckless proportion and elation upon completion. His ideology in regards to crime is one of indifference, given the view of his current syndicate is one of security and family, as such his loyalty is highly affixed, his persona molded to be a tool to be used to the chagrin of their enemies. Yet, the fair treatment and massive freedom that the syndicate has allowed Jeremiah makes him a character of some normality, not rigid or stoic, he's a talkative and often gregarious young man with a slightly sarcastic disposition, who most people would be shocked to find works within the criminal underworld. Jeremiah separates his work from his life and his ease in which he commits crime is a result of classical conditioning in which he has the desire to feel emphatic but struggles acknowledging that feeling. An almost ironic contradiction to his thrill-seeking behavior which allows him to feel alive in a fight.

Goals: Take life one step at a time? Jeremiah has never had much of a goal since the accident.

Improves reflexes, awareness and combat ability. Though doesn't increase baseline intelligence, only fixes impairments and speeds up the speed of thought.

-Tactical Bodyarmour - Unnamed due to it's shady sources and acquirement form the underworld, this mish-mash of material is designed to fit well with cybernetics whilst combining small elements of general protection from most threats. Whilst it won't stop a bullet as well as Kevlar, it can reduce the damage and similarly reduce blunt force and slashes. Designed to be highly mobile and lightweight.

Name Yago Orozco “Sobaka”
Age 29
Appearance Yago stretches a little over six feet and is built like a gymnast. His hair, silky and raven, sits just above the middle of his back. His brows are thick, the right missing a section due to a childhood scar. He has a bit of scruff, not quite a beard, but not light enough to be a stubble. He lacks any body modifications except for the gold implants that replace all four canines, but it’s purely aesthetic.
Yago wears baggy dark clothing thats not too cumbersome to inhibit movement. Small splashes of yellow are typical. His mask is a vibrant yellow marked with a smiling face and red Japanese lettering.
Backstory Yago had never been particularly bright. At the age of fifteen he ditched school to play the drums in a budding heavy metal band. He’d always been that child banging away at pots and pans, no interest in reading books or manipulating electronics. He had just wanted to make noise and hit things. He grew up musically inclined and violent. Brooding and cold. Distant and dumb. A year after quitting school, he broke his mother’s heart and left home in the middle of the night. Initially he had intended to chase the dream of touring and becoming an internationally beloved rockstar, then later to discover himself. Cut to six months later, in a foreign country, dirt poor, and coping with withdrawals, he got a gig smuggling drugs across borders. It was with that job that he learned the basics of his current one: how to kill a man, how to dispose of his body, how to threaten his family. Yago might’ve cried the first night he’d taken a life and prayed. He’d tell himself how it was either that man’s or his own and beg for forgiveness from God. But given some time he learned to get numb and to better snuff out the little inconveniences his crew encountered along routes.
Two years into his career and he was arrested. He received charges on smuggling and was sentenced with ten years in prison. It was in prison that his aggression fizzled. After getting into a fight, biting someone’s ear off, earning the name Zlaya Sobaka from his peers, and then getting stabbed the following morning. He learned to control is temper slowly, focusing on physical fitness and what inmate work assignments he received. Yago got out on his eighth year for good behavior. He attempted a normal life for a while and worked as a store clerk, but a month later he disappeared into the Argon Slums and reemerged a masked mercenary keen on taking the dirtiest assignments available.
Personality Teasing, sarcastic and with an aloof stoner-like attitude. Often times he's charismatic and extroverted with the attention span and impulsiveness of a six year old. Yago’s the type of guy to eat cereal for dinner and wear the same clothes for three days over. Yet he manages to make himself known within the crime syndicate as a marksman that can handle himself well enough without the guns.
Yago is driven primarily through monetary gain although he has a knack for blowing it all. He supposes it would also be fun to earn a name for himself akin to the boogie man. That children might be scared of the Sobaka under their bed. In an effort to achieve this Yago picks up any job regardless of how whacky the morals, doesn’t ask questions and moves onto the next.

Backstory: Keith grew up in a small rural hunting town, approximately 7 hours outside of Argon City. He grew up with two moms, brother and sister who were twins, and very few friends. Due to the numerous hunting trips his non-biological mother would make he quickly learned to handle guns, mostly rifles though. One hunting trip he was accidentally shot in the right leg by his brother, and quickly lost everything from his foot to his knee after infection took hold. After finishing Primary School, his family moved into Glitch City, where he met Margaret, his Girlfriend and future Wife. After passing Tertiary School just barely, his biological mother died in a mass shooting. His brother joined the A.C.P.D hoping to track down the killer, his sister got pregnant, and eloped off with some man, and his mother turned to drugs. With nowhere else to go, he moved in with his girlfriend, got a job in the A.C.P.D doing deskwork rather than fieldwork like his brother, and proposed to Margaret. Using the money from his job he sent his remaining mother to rehab for help. Five years in the A.C.P.D, his mother drug free, Margaret now legally his wife, and enough money saved up, he quit his job in the A.C.P.D, bought some nameless bar in the middle of Argon City, had a daughter with his wife. He ran that bar through thin and thick for 16 whole years, making a name for himself as one of the better businessmen of Argon City. His Daughter found a man of her own, shortly after Margaret passed due to cancer, and moved away, leaving Keith with his Bar, his loyal patrons, and himself.

Personality: Keith always projects himself with an aura of Stoicism, never failing to let this facade waver. He knows well that he doesn't know much about any subject, but he'll still always give a quip or two about any problem, trying to show that his age has bestowed him with wisdom of some kind. Keith is very slow to accept new ideologies, much less new technologies, preferring anything that is very outdated, and greatly worn down. He rarely engages in conversation, preferring others to speak up first. Quite the opposite though is with friends, or long-time customers. deep laughter, can be heard even from outside his Bar.

Goals: "I've already experienced most that life has decided to throw at me: I've had a lovely daughter, a loving wife, two great siblings, a job I love, and a decent-enough house. I've had my fair share of loss and hardships; I'm only here to keep the lights on, keep food on my table, and to not get into too much drama."

Backstory:

Derrick was born as the only son to a working class family in a grotty end of Argon City. His father worked as a menial labourer for a one of the countless chem plants that dotted the slums, low wage and hazardous work, his mother one the other hand did multiple odd jobs to raise enough money to raise her son, often taking him with her whilst she scrubbed floors, waxed cars and whatever else she could do for a quick buck. Once he reached school age he was able to exercise a bit more independence, spending the day at school, and then the evening with his mates on the street before returning home in the evening. It was clear that Derrick wasn’t exactly the most academically talented member of the class, he wasn’t stupid, but he wasn’t talented enough to rise above middle of the pack. What he did excel at was sports however, he was particularly big for his age (a trait that followed him into adulthood) and quickly used this to his advantage on the sports pitch. After passing Primary and Secondary school, he came out realising that Tertiary school, and any further education was not for him, raised right by his parents, and athletically gifted as he was, he came to the logical conclusion that, unwilling to follow the line of his old man in low skilled labour, to join the A.C.P.D.



Whilst failing the grade to make it as a detective, or any of the specialised lines of work, he ended up as a beatcop. And he couldn’t have been happier. For 12 years he has served on the streets of Argon City, dealing with the people of the city up in the flesh, forgoing any chance of deskwork that would consign him to a station. 4 years ago he earnt his Sergeant’s Stripes, and is a familiar face and name on the streets of Argon.

Personality:

Derrick is personable and gregarious, a necessary part of walking a beat on the streets of Argon. He doesn't always play by the rules (much to the chagrin of some of his more straight nosed superiors), and this can sometimes cause him to cross what some would see as a moral line. He is a firm believe in the greater good however, and ends justifying the means, helping him to overcome such moral qualms.

Goals: To continue to protect and serve the citizens of Argon City

From like, lets say, the aftermath of a terrible nuclear war between old governments or maybe some corporations or something. Call has started to show signs of aging and extensive use. She has been partially reassembled with off colour and off-brand parts (including her right arm), seams between panels and holes are noticeably prominent, some components have started to rust and chip. She tends to cover up a lot of her more telling android features when she thinks she is out of her usual surroundings.

Bio: Call is a maintenance android constructed by Izztech, a lesser known, foreign robotics brand that has seen a rise in popularity over several years for some of their experimental ‘free-thinker’ models. The ANT line of androids is designed for long-lasting menial work to increase the efficiency of civil works and similar roles, using advanced coding to allow the androids to respond to emergencies or unexpected changes without guidance.

Call was purchased for use in a power plant, primarily performing tasks that were deemed to risky for live workers. This lifestyle is primarily responsible for her worn-down appearance and after three years of work, she was eventually replaced after the 03 ANT Series was officially retired by Izztech in favour of newer editions.

Now essentially discarded, Call has been stuck in Argon City for the past year, attempting to fend for herself through odd jobs, part-time shifts and dealings with the seedy underbelly of the city to get by as she learns what it means to be a person rather than just a machine.
Personality: Call is generally a very straightforward and logical machine, who does not completely grasp more human concepts such as sarcasm or emotion though she is attempting to learn. She has also grown a lot more curious since her retirement, especially when pursuing anything that she believes might aid her.
She is also quite selfless and trusting, as she retains her belief that she was made to help others. Her machine nature has also made her overly fearless, especially if other lives are on the line.

Goals: Even Call is not sure what her long-term goals are, other than to continue existing through continued maintenance, which she now treats as similar to what humans have to do. Her short-term goal is to find something stable to work with; more permanent housing and/or a new career are at the top of her lists.

Quick question; I'm not exactly sure what kind of cyberpunk theme your going for, but are there perhaps, mutants? From like, lets say, the aftermath of a terrible nuclear war between old governments or maybe some corporations or something. Idk Im just spit ballin some Ideas here; let me know how you feel about that.

I don't think Pandaskel cares or have time for this anymore. I'd say that there's probably mutants hailing from the toxic lower levels of the city.

Backstory:
Growing up in the working class in Argon City was hard. It meant him and his five other siblings would have to help out every now and then. Taking his childhood away, he grew up at young age. Which led him to running away from home when he was about fifteen. Every now and then he checks in to make sure his siblings are alright, which were all girls except for him and his brother Neil. Recently, he has not visited in years since he was hiding from some crime he got himself sucked into. Hacking was his main gig now, he got caught earlier, only once, but that was when he was new to the web. He knows how to cover his tracks now.

In the day time he repairs anything with a proper reactor, mainly involving kinetics or hover tech. At night he spends his time stealing money or selling black market goods on the deep web. There's a lot of business in Argon. Especially for smuggling, which he was particularly good at even though he has only done a few jobs. It's too risky. He's trying to stay as low as he can now, after what happened to one of his friends. Jeon Marx who was arrested a few months ago for smuggling a bunch of counterfeit Midon in their vehicle. Thankfully, Noah got away, but he might not be so lucky next time.

Personality:
Noah is a reserved quiet guy that you could trust to do your dirty work or to just keep a secret. It may not seem like it, but if you dig far enough into him you will see how sweet and caring he can be, he just only shows it to selective amounts of people. He hates feeling vulnerable.

Goals:
Get out of the crime industry into legitimate business.
