Arc 1: Ionia

The nine-tailed fox's senses were on full alert, she trusted none of those she shared the temple's interiors with nor did she trust herself with approaching them. She wasn't the first to arrive, and her human half told her she was not to be the last. Her human counterpart's prediction was correct; more had entered through the temple doors, a few entered like her, cautious, careful, and silent, and others, barged in - a little creature from Ahri's perspective even blew a hole onto the great temple's oaken doors. Little by little, she could no longer endure to be at inconvenience's reach from the individuals, mostly blaming the rodent like creature whose stench was a curse to the fox's gifted nose. She tucked her tails together, jumped to the wooden foundations that supported the temple, observing the group from above with her bundle of tails gently at rest on her lap, patiently awaiting the reason for the gathering.

Such an odd gathering this turned out, Ahri thought - eyeing each and everyone in the room carefully. She partly thanked the height of foundations, she was a safe distance away from the foul stench of the rodent. A familiar scent took its place, someone who shared the scent of the men who occasionally destroyed her home, her fierce golden orbs searched frantically for the source. To her dismay, she only found nothing but the shadows, her animal ancestry became alerted as ever - warning her for traps. She considered a retreat, she undoubtedly disliked the scent of the brutal humans who dared threaten the humans she loved from their homes, but her human nature warned none of the animosity she found from the intruders - instead, she convinced her animal instincts to be wary, foxes are elusive in nature, and she would not stray from that title. Having her worry for her safety reassured, she gave the group down below a watchful eye once more. She watched them carefully, the same way she watched the inhabitants of the village she would one day make her home.

Div.png

More events transpired that caught the interest of the fox, all of which were conversations as far as she could understand. The group itself was an oddity to her - they were all from foreign lands, their scents told her. Yet, they all gathered to this one place. Ahri found herself puzzled, but the answer may introduce itself soon, along with it, the cause of her constant fear for the village's safety. She considered to take the moment as a chance to observe the humans from other lands, paying no heed to the other creatures who was of no interest to the fox. The two females were the first she observed - they shared the same scent, they came from the same soil, and they shared an inhuman scent along with them - something that disconnected them from the others. One of the females, the silver one, showed remorse to the the golden one's presence, a rivalry - was how the fox interpreted it. Next, a man of high status caught her attention - she recalled how his entrance made eyes divert to his direction, he had something in the air around him that hooked the attention of everyone in the room. She tuned her senses to two more males, one with peculiar clothing, everyone in the room wore foreign clothing to the fox's inexperienced eyes, but his was far more eccentric - even her vulpine half agreed to the man's peculiarity. The other, a younger one, and like the one with eccentric clothing, his scent was a confusing one for the fox, she could sniff out different kinds of scent between the two, travelers, perhaps? The other two humans displayed an aura of superiority over the others, she took a liking to the man with the metallic parts - she was curious as to how a former human could retain his sense of humanity. Ahri was by far taken by confusion at the cyborg's state. Another wore a clad of expensive looking armor - though Ahri was not one to appraise materials. There was an ease to which he wore his battle armor, this one was a soldier - another abhorrent specie of humans she found distasteful.

Her curiosity piqued at the sight of different humans before her, the fox brushes a hand over the fluff that remained on top of her lap. Her eyes shone with wondering resplendence, if the question regarding her unrest was not answered here, perhaps she could take a few more moments studying these complex humans, before venturing out in search for clues once more.

Viktor look at him "Traps... Are they mechanical based? Or just primitive?" he says. He clearly acted like he was superior the this animal. Viktor would never say that Twitch and him were on the same level. He levelled up. He was almost a perfect being. He was close to achieve a perfect being too. No emotions. Only by being logical and smart can someone defeat everyone. He sighs and decided to keep talking with the rat man. "You talk big about those disgusting places but you never really said why they are important, Twitch" he says grabbing his scepter from his suitcase. He also puts his computer away.

"You are too primitive. Machines are perfection. However, I must admit, I am impressed that you were able to transform yourself into a rat. Or was it the other way around? You tried to become human and it went wrong?" he asks but then shakes his head "Hmm... maybe someone tried to transform you into a human..." he grins "Though I don't know why would someone try to be a human." he says "And I am working on the "Glorious Evolution"." he says opening his arms and stretching them to each side. That way he looked more intimidating.

"Machines are perfection. We humans should try to become like them. However, many lack that power and others try to steal that power from others. However I achieved results that no one has. I have the power to make mankind evolve into a perfect being" he says with a smile under his mask. He was going to continue his conversation of how amazing a machine could be but then he realised the fox girl, the one with many white tails was looking at him. In the past, he would probably consider her beautiful but he had no time or space for that kind of thinking. He smiles, thinking of how she would look if she joined his glorious evolution. The tails could act like blades... maybe shoot some bullets.

"Amazed of my work" he asks the half human half fox girl looking at her. "I can help you become just like me. In fact I can help you all. Even you Twitch" he says.

:: Leona ::

The Radiant Dawn

At least, she thought she was ready for whatever it was that she was going to face.

Before anything, she wondered just how Targon had fared these past few days. She is hoping that Atreus would be there to help the tribes, even if the man had hated Leona ever since her trial by combat, they both have the same love for Targon after all.

Leona had expected the shrine to, at the very least, look somehow neat in the inside but clearly it was just as rundown in the inside as it was on the outside. She took a few steps to go further inside the building with her head facing the floor not wanting to trip if there were holes.

She firstly removed her hood and revealed her face to the others in the shrine. Her eyes wandered around the inside of the shrine, a man in a coat and a big hat, an oddly large rat that smelled, and… DianaThe one and only person she wasn’t expecting to see and meet. As her eyes landed on the said woman, it was clear as day that Diana was angry at her. But Leona only stood there frozen as ice as she looked back at the proclaimed heretic, undeniably uncomfortable at the turn of events.

Her head ached, visions of the past reappeared on her mind giving her just as much as a rage as the woman in front of her. And yet, Leona couldn’t help but sympathize with the heretic, knowing that she was telling the truth at the time and was nevertheless deemed a falsifier. The fire of her anger burned low but it was still there, enough to remind her of the danger the scorned woman held and of what she had done to the elders.

Confusion was the very emotion Leona had felt as of now. Leona watched Diana walk to the other side, moving farther away from the former and giving Leona one last glare. Leona then swayed her head to the other side, not wanting to feel any more uncomfortable than she already is. Just what is Shen planning? I doubt having the both of us here could lead to anything good. Surely he would investigate our past if he wanted us here.

Leona looked back at Diana’s direction, only to find the woman glaring at her once again. This time, Leona was readying her equipment; she removed her cloak and took the shield that resided on her back, and held the grip of her sword. Seeing as the other seemed to ready herself for battle, is she planning on fighting?

At this moment on, Leona didn’t care about the people that came in after her. No care in whatever else was transpiring inside the old shrine, even if you say that a certain blonde man shouted his heart out, a little yordle blasted the bombs or conversations are already taking place; she drowned every single one of those noise. She can’t take her eyes off the Lunarian, not wanting to be off guard if she ever attacks for it seems the avatar of the moon was getting more and more furious as time passes.

The moons favored one stomped its bases only to stop a few feet away from Leona, her glare was dark and probably ready to kill. "Why are YOU here, Solari!? Because I honestly have a hard time believing you're only here for the plan. This honestly feels like too much of a coincidence if you ask me!! Did you somehow find out where I was going and decided that now be your chance to kill me so you followed me all the way here to take vengeance!?" Suddenly shouted the silver haired woman as she pointed the cresent blade at the Sun’s daughter.

Shocked at the Lunarian’s theories as to why she was here, Leona could only stare and let the woman continue in her rant, seeing as Diana still had more to say to her. "If you're THAT desperate to have me dead then fine! But know this Solari..." Diana’s glare turned icy that felt as if they were arrows that pierces your body to death."I WILL fight back and I will make it to where I'll be the HARDEST THING YOU EVER TRIED TO KILL IN YOUR LIFE." Diana finished outburst with that last statement.

Leona relaxed herself to a more suitable position, standing straight and tall, her hand away from her sword and shield touching the ground. With her warm voice she spoke with gentleness, wanting to imply that she does not want a fight or to harm the angry woman. “I am not here for you, Diana. I was invited here, same as you. My goal is to finish off those vile creatures as soon as possible.” Leona gave the scorned woman a sad look and told her something that Diana will more likely not believe, “I do not wish to fight you, Diana.” Leona's eyes were serious, her voice and words gives off the word honesty as her gaze did not falter from Diana's direction.

Twitch wasn't planning on answering Viktor's question about his traps, they wouldn't matter if the secret of what to expect got out there. He was about to answer the other question but then Viktor began talking about something called the Glorious Evolution. Twitch didn't really care about whatever it meant to become perfect, he had only one ultimate goal in his life and that was to make more of his kind.  "I don't need to be like you Viktor, besides you said only humans should become perfect. I'm not human you know." he said as grabbed one of his venom flask from a holster on his back. "You want to know why the sewers are so important? I owe the sewers everything, because they created ME!" Twitch said as he began tossing the flask up in the air and catching it.

@JPTheWarrior

The Scorn of the Moon had not expected this kind of...calm reaction. Diana honestly had expected this woman, the Solari Commander, to have positioned herself in a fighting stance and accept the fight, but Diana only got a saddening look from her and a gentle voice to her reason of why shes here. Diana felt herself only slightly relax internally while on the outside she was still tense when hearing that she was here for the plan, just like her, to be rid of the Void that caused trouble to their home. Their home...Mount Targon. Diana remembered that on her sail over here, she had hoped someone would take care of the mountain while she was gone and seeing Leona here made her even more concerned of the mountain's state. She didn't really think of Leona as another option of protecting Mount Targon at the time but now that she was here Diana thought that maybe she could've protected it if she hadn't been called for the plan. Who else could possibly defend it now? Diana thought as she tried to think of any others whom could take on destroying the voidings from invading. Sadly she didn't know many who had enough power or strength to take on the tedious task and also saw Mount Targon as their home to defend. Perhaps the Solari's fellow soldiers would defend it but she doesn't think they'll last long especially with the Voidlings numbers growing.

At the last response the Solari told, Diana felt very confused and anxious. She doesn't wish to fight me...The Lunari said in her mind almost having a hard time believing it was the truth. She couldn't believe it at all! This is the one whom chased her down all the way to the summit just to kill her yet the way the Sun's daughter said it with a...certain genuine tone like she truly wasn't lying. "I do not wish to fight you, Diana." Buzzed through her head as if all her thoughts and consciousness had been silenced completely by that simple sentence. Diana eventually decided to loosen herself on the outside, her sickle being slowly brought back down but still stretched out towards Leona. Her glare not as dangerous or dark but still there as she gazed at Leona, looking for any kind fault or something that told Diana she was lying. I can't believe this, I can't believe her...why....shes wanted me dead for what I did...this has to be some kind of trick. Diana concluded and her gaze hardened again. That must be it...she thinks that maybe once my guard is completely down and close to me she can finish me off.

Though Diana was determined this is why Leona was being this way, a small part of her deep down, had little bit of hope that maybe she wasn't lying. Maybe she was just as tired as her of all this feud between the Lunari and Solari people, between them. Diana knew she was tired of being hunted down for her past mistakes and always having to hide away to avoid any conflicts from those who were part of the Solari or were loyal to them. With this little bit of hope Diana sighed deeply, her figure relaxing now and her sickle coming to stay by her side. Though that little bit of hope was there, her stronger feelings of being cautious and weary of Leona getting close was more dominant than anything. "So...you have no wishes to fight me...or to kill me?" Diana said calmly but also in a stern voice. "I am having a very hard time believing that, Solari." She stated as she returned to where she was once before, the farthest place away from the Radiant Dawn. Her anger seemed to have subsided and now Diana's main emotion was replaced with caution and alertness with a little bit of confusion.

"Know this, Celestial aspect of the Sun, I am always on high alert." She stated before finally returning to her position on the wall, this time her sickle was placed to her side with hand holding onto it like a cane and her other arm hugged her torso. This is going to be a looooooong mission.

The human with metallic clads as parts of his body spoke of words Ahri considered unforgivable. He claimed that he was perfection - that machines only capable of proper logic, and rid of all human emotions were perfect, that it is an insult to become fully human. His particular exchange with the rodent hooked the fox's attention far more than the banter between the two females from the same soil just below her. For a moment, Ahri nearly snapped, the cyborg insulted her entire well-being, her entire existence, and most especially, her entire aspirations. She had been striving to become human for as long as her human mind allowed her to remember, and only her maker knows for how long she regretted ridding the humanity off of the victims claimed by the fox herself - a lot of, of which, came from the innocent passersby unfortunate enough to encounter her during her time of confusion.

To add further mockery, she became address to one of his self dignified proclamations of greatness - that he will help her become like him, a perfect being made of bolts and metal. This proved to be the last offense Ahri was willing to forgive him for, her tails trashed themselves out from lap and violently twirling from behind her as she remained seated among the wooden trestles. "You are a fool for soiling the worth of humanity," she snarled at the cyborg, the brilliant shade of gold her eyes now tinted with silent anger, "a machine has no right to make claims of what is a perfect being." her soft voice escaped her lips as a growl, completely raw of all her anger. Given half the chance she met this man before he became machine, she would lose no sleep ridding him of his essence.

Viktor sighs and looks at the rat "Then they are important to you and not to others. And they created you?" he asks not really waiting for an answer "That means your existence is by luck?" he chuckles in a sarcastic tone "That is sad indeed. Doesn't it upset you? Knowing that you only think and act like a human by being on the right place at the right time?" he sighs "It really is unfortunate for you. However you can rise and join me. The begining of your existence was just the first step of evolution. If you join me Twitch, you can achieve another evolution. The Glorious Evolution!" he says raising his arms again. "Imagine it. You could be immortal and ten times stronger than what you are now. You could rule all the sewers of this country. Why stick to Zaun when you can have more? Ambition my friend. That is what you need" he says stretching his arm, waiting for him to shake it. If he did, it would mean that in fact he wants to join him. "Everyone can achieve the Glorious Evolution. Not only humans." he finishes his talk with a smile under his mask.

That smile faded away when that fox girl talked. He slowly turned around. The arm of his back started to glow with an orange color. What that mean? She couldn't tell but it couldn't be good. "Fool? Worth of Humanity? A machine has no rights?" he laughs loudly, the sound echoing on the shrine. His head looked down and he puts his left hand on his face. He started grinning and slowly raises his head towards the fox girl, his hand lowering. "Humanity... is a disgrace. They kill, steal, lie. They are all savages. They are driven by emotions. It doesn't matter if it's love or hatred. Truly, the emotions bring wars, conflicts and death. By erasing those so called "Emotions" one can achieve the ultimate evolution and become the ultimate being" he says. How can this girl be so blinded by the emotions? What a fool I was for asking her to join my battlecast project.

"A machine has no right to make claims? That is what you said..." he says now, with a deadly serious tone "Very well, fox but let me remind you of something. Did every human treat you well? Do you seriously believe that all man are good? Look at the war between Demacia and Noxus... so much blood was shed because of them. Yet everyone treats their soldier like heros. Wouldn't be good if we could erase the wars? Bring peace to the entire world?" he sighs "Guess you are just like them. What a let down." he says

Things had finally started to heat up as conversation began. It seemed as the two women in dazzling armor knew each other and did not get along. The one in icy colored armor had been steaming a while and she yell an outburst at the brightly colored one. They were using words he had heard before Lunari, Solari those were religions coming out of the mount Targon area if he wasn't mistaken. The two women must be from there and seemed to have strong opposing opinions, if one could believe the other would come all the way here to hunt her. There was a story there Talon was interested in learning about, and maybe he would after some time here. Least there was no violence as the one called Diana left back to her corner. He wondered what Shen has planned to deal with these two.

The blonde boy attempted to lighten the mood with a really bad joke but didn't seem to get much of a reaction and posed the group leave the women to their business but it did not look like the group had a need for that since they stopped themselves. Talon didn't think the females squabble was his problem aways, why should he be forced to leave for their comfort when they are the problem? If they wanted to fight it out they should take it outside, this place was damaged enough without a battle starting in it.

The large rat was now talking to Viktor and they quickly disagreed despite their shared home land. But Talon managed to pick up on interesting information while he studied them. The rat named Twitch was created in the sewers of the city and he wishes to make more like himself. Viktor was giving him the evolution speech Talon had heard a little about, or at least he heard that becoming augmented had gone to the mans head and he believed everyone should work towards that.

The fox had joined him on the rafter but was still to far away to detect him lucky. Viktor turned his attention to her and they seemed to further clash ideologies. The fox it turned out wanted nothing more then to be human, and Viktor wanted to be so much more.

It was a very interesting bunch but so far Talon felt no inclination to meet any of them. Sure he would work with them but that didn't mean he had to be pleasant about it. He needed more details on the plan in order to figure out who was the more valuable companion. Should he befriend someone stealthy like himself or would it be more beneficial for him to side with a Mage or Warrior. For the moment there was to many unknowns for him to be comfortable with.

Viktor's deal almost sounded too good to be true for Twitch.  Could he really become stronger and live forever by accepting this deal?  With all that time he could probably figure out the ingredients to concoct something to make more of his kind. But the deal almost seemed too easy,  Is he trying to trick me? yes, yes, there's no way someone would ever be this nice to me, ugh.. what would Zac do?  As Twitch was thinking over the offer, the fox lady from earlier started speaking up and challenging Viktor's speech about the glorious evolution.  Despite all the good things Viktor had said could come from his evolution the lady opposed it regardless, does this mean it wasn't as great as it seemed? Twitch had done enough thinking, he had come to a decision. "I didn't think anyone would want to do something as generous as that for me, but...I have my own goals to finish first." he said reluctantly. The offer was one of the best things anyone had ever wanted to do for him, but he just didn't know if he could completely trust Viktor, especially since he had just poked fun at the origin of his existence.

@JPTheWarrior

Twisted Fate didn't know who he had expected to meet after he decided to take on this offer, but he certainly didn't expect this. A metal man, A short Rat man, A rather beautiful woman with a bouquet of tails and even the mighty Prince Jarvan IV himself. On the upside things weren't boring a cat fight had already broken out and a yordle blew a hole in the wall. The journey hadn't even begun and he was already enjoying himself. That is until he strolled in.

Twisted Fate kept his calm collected exterior intact but his heart sunk. Gangplank the most feared man on the sea had also been invited to join this little soirée as well.

Twisted Fate had crossed paths with him before and the last time they parted he was tied to a canon bound for the bottom of the sea. Suffice to say they weren't on good terms.

Gangplank must have been in a good move cuz his first move wasn't putting a bullet in between his eyes so that was a good sign but it was best not to deal with him.

Instead Twisted Fate decided it would be a good idea to gain favor with some of his soon to be allies. Among them was a number of interesting individuals including a number of attractive women he was looking forward to meeting but at the moment he was looking for power rather then beauty and the most intimidating had to be Jarvan. He had political power and the battlefield prowess to back it up.

So with that in mind he decided to mosey on over to the big man himself.

He took his hat off and bowed to him.

"Sir I must say it is humbling to be in the presence of someone so regal." He straightened up and put the hat back atop  his head. "I've heard stories of the state of your kingdom and I can't imagine the pain of leaving it like it is. You have my sincerest condolences." He said straightforwardly.

He honestly cared little for Demacia, he just cared that the most powerful man in the room thought he cared for it.

@NickTonCutter @AkumaHunter

Veigar could barely believe what exactly was happening. A gaudy metal man had apparently offended a fox lady to the point of fleeing, a dandy was sucking up to another gaudy metal man, two lady knights were apparently not seeing eye-to-eye, at least on one end, there was a giant rat, there was a big human in a pirate's outfit, and finally, a defenseless-looking blonde human that had just made an atrocious attempt at humor. Said human was approaching Veigar and the hole he'd made in the door, and that wasn't exactly appreciated.

He looked up towards the young human, saying, "Blonde one, you may find it wise to step back," as he raised his staff. After a slight delay, a meteor of energy crashed through the roof with a thunderous crash; hoping he'd grabbed everyone's attention, he shouted, more shrilly than normal, "This is the Eye of Twilight's elite team? The one I, Veigar, am supposed to be cooperating with? You're all no more than a squawking flock of raptors! I can't believe individuals of such caliber are to be compared to myself!"

Gangplank

Gangplank couldn't think straight with Twisted Fate around. He possibly could have taken his pistol and shot directly at Twisted Fate, but doing that would have been a sign up to the death. They were too much people that Gangplank didn't know, Plus Gangplank wasn't there to kill this guys. He sigh before taking a sit and looking at everyone, being rather calm about the situation, after all the reward for this mission should be high. For him, there was so much answer to ask to himself, like why is there is a big rat for this mission,a cyborg guys, and a human fox... They were still more people looking like real human but with interesting outfit, two of them seems to didn't get along very well "The Moon against the Sun,it seems like..." Gangplank thought. A conversation between the Rat and the Cyborg took place, along with the cyborg guys asking for the woman fox to join his rank. For Gangplank, this place looked like a comedy. So much different personality here, what  Shen was planning with this?

After another looked around, Gangplank notice a large sound followed by a voice, almost funny but also hideous to hear. What?A little thing wearing a mage outfit with a voice like that? But also,he insult everyone and call himself Veigar. Gangplank decided to move by approaching Veigar, crossing his arms in front of him with a smirk " So small and so courageous, you are cute."

After glancing toward Twisted Fate, it seems like he was talking to a high rank guys. His crown and his armor say it all. Gangplank though  "This rascal must be planning something again... I'm gonna keep and eye on him..." he say before turning back at Veigar.

Viktor moved his attencion to the rat. He let out a sigh "So in a way... you are declining my offer." he says shaking his head "You have goals of your own... you know, that if you joined me and joined the Glorious Evolution, you would become immortal right?" he says pointing at himself "Right now, I haven't achieved the Glorious Evolution myself myself but I am close to it. For example, I only need to drink water to leave. I don't need food anymore" he says with a smile "You could also achieved immortality if you joined me" he sighs "Guess that will have to wait... and here I thought someone from Zaun would knew what was the right decision." he says.

Disappointed that his declined his offer, Viktor decided to leave him be waving. They would have other moments to talk. Right now he had to find other potencial candidates for his work. He looked around. That yordle just made a hole in the roof. Tch... that yordle just used magic. Imagined if he did join my ranks. That little being thinks he is better than anyone here... He decided to ignored that guy, that an even bigger ego than Viktor.

His eyes moved to the Solari girl. He didn't know who she was, but he knew about the clothes. "Hmm maybe she is worth talking too" he says looking then at another girl, that looked the opposite of the solari. She had a look in her eyes that Viktor knew well. The look of someone who was betrayed. Maybe she would also like to join his ranks. He walked towards her and stretched his hand towards her, so she could shake it.

"My name is Viktor." he says smiling under his mask "You and I could be good friends you know? I like the expression of eyes. Of someone who was betrayed. I understand that pain" he says smiling "However, emotions makes us weaker. Wouldn't you like to evolve and get rid of those emotions?" he says.

"If the answer is yes, I can help you. Tell me, what is your name?" he asks. His voice was calm and friendly so she wouldn't be afraid of him.

Twitch was glad that Viktor understood that he had wanted to accomplish his own goals first, but he had almost sounded dissapointed. Can machines even be dissapointed? I thought Viktor said they were emotionless..grr, this is confusing!

As Twitch was trying to figure it out, he saw that Viktor began heading over to the lady that had called herself Diana earlier. Deciding to forget figuring it out, Twitch began looking around the room to see who may know about Shen, however, he didn't get to look for long because the little purple mage had blown a hole in the roof which had nearly startled Twitch enough to reflexively go invisible. As Twitch was regaining his composure he heard the mage who called himself Veigar, yelling something about not being happy with working with people who he thought were weaker than him, however, during his rant he mentioned someone called The Eye of Twilight. Is that some kind of title Shen uses? Yes, that has to be it! The mage must know about this Shen guy!  Twitch walked over to Veigar as he put the flask he was tossing back in its holster.

"Uh...Veigar, do you know about this Shen guy?" Twitch said as politely as he could. He didn't want to anger someone that had such destructive capabilities.

Diana was still pretty tense from the conversation she just finished having with the Solari despite finally being able to calm herself. Now that she had settled down and her attention, still fully aware of Leona though, was towards the other guests, she had to admit they were quite a crowd. As she examined each individual, some seemed to have reined from the same faction judging by their clothing and there was little who were by themselves or representing the faction on their own as it seemed. Diana had to admit she did feel pretty bad for the blond boy at the moment. She remembered earlier he had tried to back everyone away from her and Leona so they could "air out their dirty laundry" as he put it. Now he is dealing with a yordle mage whom was being rather rude and egotistic of himself blowing holes in the ceiling just to threaten the poor boy.

As she saw another man going over to the yordle, she was approached by the cyborg who stated his name as Viktor. She didn't exactly know how to react to seeing this machine man but she did reach her hand out and shake it as a polite gesture. He decided to go on with talking about the look in her eyes, asking about her emotions and wondering if she would like to become something like him, a machine. Diana sighed thinking that while she is here she guess she'll try to talk to the others before she spoke, "I'm Diana, the Lunari. And the look in my eyes it may seem like betrayal but I had those eyes only once...before it was overcome by anger. My eyes now I know hold the exhaustion I expel due to being persecuted for what I believe. Thats how its always been since I was young." She looked down when she was thinking of her past and then turned her gaze to look back at him."I'll have to decline your offer I'm afraid, I have no wish to be rid of my emotions or what might be left of my humanity. For you see I'm already altered, magically altered, though I still look human. Its most likely not the same as mechanically altered but I'm far from human on the inside. The emotions I have are sort of like an anchor for me, they let me know that I still feel. Emotions can ruin us, bother us, or make us make...bad decisions but in the end we can learn from the negative side of it and grow to make sure that those bad emotions don't effect us again. The positive side is a much greater feeling to me and I can't rid myself of that." Diana turned to look off into the shrine full of rambling voices and gave a small smile. "Humans live such short lives but most take advantage of it and make it worth the most. I may live longer than a normal human, but I will die someday. The thought of living forever if I were to become machine strikes me as nothing but a curse...it may seem great for awhile but someday you'll regret it. At least thats what I believe."

Jarvan IV had taken note of the odd grouping of people called together by the Eye of Twilight, and suffice to say he had an incredibly hard time piecing the situation together. Some of those present made sense to him, most notably Leona and Diana as they were both powerful and important people within the Targon region, though there seemed to be many gathered that were just… without importance. The Kitsune woman there seemed rather out of place, just as much as the small creature that had blown its way in through the roof. It was a small being, one Jarvan IV felt very little compulsion to involve himself with, and so he took to ignoring the little annoyances arrival in favor of the approach of a much more sizable annoyance.

As the con man spoke to him Jarvan IV had to resist frowning, rather keeping hold of his much sterner countenance. He had never really spoken with the man Twisted Fate before, but he had heard enough stories and rumors of the Cardmaster enough to know who he was dealing with. He hardly took his words to heart, and while he was unsure what the conman wanted from him he could scrounge up a few ideas. Being a Prince made you a target for the sort of man Twisted Fate seemed to be.

The Prince did not exchange pleasantries with the conman, not only because of his lack of respect for the man behind the stories he’d heard and the profession he followed, but Jarvan IV was both a Lightshield and of royalty so there was little reason for him to treat any here with the usual formalities. He turned his attention to the man, raising a questioning eyebrow before speaking on the topic.

“It is a trying time for me, yes, but I am needed here and I have little regret in leaving. Answering this summons may be in the best interest of my people, and if there is help to be found here I will not ignore it for the sake of being close to my home. It is better to leave and to aid, than to stay and to die,” he paused, before sighing and continuing the conversation with the conman, though reluctantly. “I am here for that purpose, but I do question your presence here, Cardmaster, as I question the presence of… many here. Why is it you believe you were summoned to come, and why would someone such as yourself care to answer?”

The shadowy seductress giggled silently to herself from the dark of the wall, gentle glowing eyes roaming over the batch of misfits that had been summoned. It didn't seem like anyone had noticed her yet and she was almost glad because the surrounding visitors were rather entertaining in their interactions. The Eye of Twilight must've been very bored of mind indeed to summon such a band of misfits. So many from different backgrounds and various lands, some hailing from the same area but having never encountered one another or fostering hostility between themselves. It was rather shocking to see so many characters together to fight a common enemy at the request of one man. Humans were interesting...

Ignoring a pounding in her skull Evelynn took note of each individual arrival and committed them to memory, voices and vocal claims as well. A Lunari by the name of Diana who was once an ostracized human. A Solari responsible for her solitude and sorrow. A yordle who was rather aggressive and hell bent on asserting dominance his appearance didn't carry. A young blonde who was easily looked over who had enacted his wrath and subsequently caused a hole to be made in the ceiling. She sidestepped the debris from that, which had fallen at her side. There was a mechanical man who seemed to take the gathering as an opportunity to gather experiments, and from what she could tell no one was interested save for perhaps the anthropomorphic rat called Twitch. Very interesting. The pirate Gangplank himself was even here and she had to wonder what force on earth was restraining him from annihilating her old plaything, they had history if memory served her correctly. She could sense his malevolence but for reasons most likely relating to their situation, her favorite was spared from his wrath. Though everything surrounding her was quite enthralling; the tailed woman for instance, she felt compelled to take under her wing for reasons personal to herself and her own interest in humanity. She also wanted to toy with the attractive blonde with the sense of humor but that could perhaps wait...

She watched Twisted Fate as he approached the Demacian Prince himself, charming pleasantries spilling from his conning lips. It was just like him to attempt and reap any possible fruit from any situation, this one being no different. It was rather disappointing to see that the charm wasn't well received however, because in fact the prince may have heard of the reputation that preceded the card wielder. He didn't seem eager to engage in conversation but he did in fact ask as to the reasoning behind his arrival. Ha, why else?

She stepped from the shadows and into view fluidly in an almost ghostly manner, arms crossed under her busty bosom as she circled the room. Her steps were silent and honestly if her coloration didn't make her stand out she still probably wouldn't have been noticed. She did take a moment to pass the young blonde and drag a nail under his chin, giving a soft giggle and wink in the process all while ignoring the commotion of the yordle. Once positioned behind the Royal and the Bilgewater native she paused and stood with her hip jutted out, red eyes filled with mischief.

"Isn't it obvious highness?" she speaks up. "There are two categories of people here at present: those like yourself with something to protect, and those like him who intend to reap the benefits of temporary heroism." She looks to her past partner with a seductive grin, head tilting ever gently to the left. "Of course I myself just love to flirt with danger... Among other things," she purrs in his direction. "Still in such pristine condition after so long, aren't you darling?" Her love of teasing the man was only rivaled by her own greedy desires and her lethal charm.

"No kiss hello?"

The Radiant Dawn

Leona could see a shock form in Diana’s face. She doesn’t blame Diana, she’d feel the same if she was in the Lunari’s shoes. Leona could imagine the moon’s daughter to be analyzing everything that the Solari has just proclaimed, for the former’s face had begun to be very wary of her again.

Slowly, Diana had lowered her khopesh and this has made the Solari more at ease. “So… you have no wishes to fight me… or to kill me?” Diana had asked the ginger haired woman in front of her. Leona nodded as response, but still Diana wasn’t that convinced and doubts that she would easily be won over. “I am having a very hard time believing that, Solari.” That last sentence didn’t stop Diana from threatening the sun’s chosen, “Know this, Celestial Aspect of the Sun, I am always on high alert.” before returning to her former place inside the shrine. Of course you will.

In truth, after her claim of not wanting to fight, Leona felt as if she was holding her breath by letting out an airy sigh as the other one left. Leona was now very, very exhausted after all that talking, thanking the sun that it is finally over.

Leona decided to check everyone’s faces; trying to remember it all since they are going to be her companions, if not enemies. She could hear the conversation of a metalical(?) man, and a sultry voice coming from a woman with… nine fox-like tails. This peeked Leona’s curiosity for never has she seen a human with animalistic features, though the woman seemed to have a disagreement with the man. Leona would agree with the fox if they ever have the same discussion. There was also another one with them, a giant rodent who can talk. At this time, Leona doesn’t know what to make of things anymore.

A man in black talked to a man in golden clad of armor. Remembering that man in gold is of high status just as she, a Prince of Demacia… one of the travelers she had talked to, gave her a quick discussion of the important places in Runeterra and the important or well-known people in each place; giving her a vague description of every one of them. She remembered Jarvan because of his golden aremor; the color being some sort of symbol for it’s country.

Suddenly power blasted from the roof, further wrecking the ruined state of the temple; luckily Leona was quite far from the blast. A tiny man then proclaimed dominion over everyone else. Glancing around, Leona took notice of the metallic man looking at her for a bit and then to Diana, approaching her, giving out the very same offer he did to the rat and the fox. But Diana quickly gave her response, explaining what she is and how she sees herself becoming like him.

Leona wasn’t one to not talk with people, but she’s quite wary of everyone in the temple coming from different places, and no one seemed like an ordinary person or a commoner. Add the fact that she’s quite exhausted from the trip and conversation with Diana. She took a seat at her place and just rested while watching and listening to everyone, waiting for her summoner to arrive and give them the details of their mission.

Ezreal could only yell in surprise as he phased backwards in space, the meteor that the loud wizard summoned unable to touch him, but he could still feel the surge of magic graze his face, almost but not quite hot enough to burn. When he was situated in one spot, he rounded onto the yordle mage and threw him a withering glare, though he was already walking away. “What the hell did I do to deserve nearly getting my head caved in with one of your big space rocks!? “ He yelled, but he doubted he could be heard over the yordle’s own screeching. He walked closer to the mage brandishing his staff as if he was ready to strike at someone with it, ready to give him a piece of his mind, but he stopped in his tracks once he got close enough and noticed Twitch-not by sight, unfortunately, but by smell.

The prodigal explorer had smelt many a thing that should never be smelled in his adventures, since many unearthed tombs and ancient burial sites weren’t well fumigated, but the toxins and sewage that coated the fur of the overgrown rat were nauseating at best. So, he backed off from the yordle and the rat, but not before he threw out a barb over his shoulder. “You know, from all the rumors I heard going on and on about the crazy Veigar, I was honestly expecting someone a little bit…taller. Before you go on and on about how much everyone else sucks, you should work on that attitude of yours- it’s gonna be hard to play nice with your teammates, champ. “ He snickered, before walking back to the door again, even though it seemed like the two glowing women weren’t about to kill each other now- Ez honestly just wanted a bit of breathing room from all these hot tempered personalities.

He watched the rest of the gathered people mingle together, only raising an eyebrow at the shady looking hatted man talking with the Prince, and laughed a bit to himself at the pirate captains words to the yordle.  Viktor he felt comfortable ignoring entirely- he knew of the mans hatred for Jayce and he didn’t wanna give the metallic menace any reason to drag him into his weird obsession with taking the hero of Piltover down. As he was people watching, he jumped back in surprise as he felt a finger trail under his chin, only to see- that woman wasn’t wearing anything at all, was she? Ezreal’s face flushed with embarrassment as the woman giggled at him, and he pointedly turned his face away from her so he wouldn’t see her…boldness.  These people-honestly, the only thing that could tilt him off balance even more at this point was a Noxian.

The King had been fine with just staying outside and only really going near the shire if he absolutely had to. He’d had a long journey and really was just ready to nap until this Eye of Twilight decided to speak with him. Or well that was his plan until the loud screaming of a woman’s voice drifted out of the building. He raised an eyebrow and looked towards the shrine in concern, perhaps he should have just stayed in the Freljord. Though it was when a rather loud blast happened did he actually rise from his spot, was no one keeping the peace in there. What was even going on in there? Tryndamere sighed as grabbed his bag and started towards the door.

He stood at the door way to take in the rag tag group of people in the building. The King had to keep himself looking disgusted, as he had teens who seemed more capable then the people in the room.  Tryndamere stood straight up as he crossed his arms and took his time examining the building and each of its occupants more thoroughly. The only person he saw that had any success in the task they were brought there for was the Demacian Prince and even that was based more on looks rather then the barbarian actually knowing.  Two heavily armed women whom he’d not noticed before, they might be of actual use, a man spouting off nonsense, two smaller creatures that he didn’t really want to get closer to, several regular looking men one of which he decided he’d have to keep an eye on as he look particularly dangerous as if he was just waiting for an excuse to hurt someone, a….fox…woman??? He wasn’t going to even start on that one or the woman barely clothed. Great all in all a rag tag group of …people… He could already tell that this wasn't going to go well.

He dropped his bag on the ground near the door, the armor inside making a rather loud clang not that he cared. The armor would be fine and he did not care if he disturbed them as he’d planned on it the second trouble arose again. The barbarian reached up and adjusted his sword and the holster as it had moved somewhat and the handle was hitting his head. This was going to be a long journey if these really were the people he was expected to work with.

Twisted Fate

The prince didn't seem convinced. Twisted Fate had expected him to be a rather tricky person to fool so he had a backup plan. Unfortunately he didn't have the chance to pull his trump card as something new took his attention.

The voice that sounded like a sirens may have an angelic ring to many but for him it was like nails clawing away at a chalkboard.

"Evelynn." Twisted Fate twisted around with a fake grin on his face. "now don't you think that's a bit harsh?" He asked. "I may not have the best reputation but a world crisis can bring out the best in people. I don't want see the world destroyed anymore then anyone else so what makes you think I didn't come to lend aid? He asked.

He grinned his teeth together fighting to keep his smile on to hide his anguish. He was ready to carry on the conversation when yet another distraction reared its head. A man creeping in the shadows.

Shen

Shen was impressed by the amount of people who accepted his invitation. It was much fewer then he had invited but much more then he expected. He wanted to give it more time but he he didn't want his guests to get anymore agitated. He also didn't want anymore holes blown in his shrine.

He had been perched up in the rafters hidden from sight in the shadows watching ever since his first arrival but now he decided to reveal himself. Silently he leapt down and landed in the shrines center before everyone. He stood up straight and crossed his arms.

"Well this is a much bigger turnout then I expected." He chuckled. Shen put his hands together and bowed to his guests. "Firstly I'd like to thank each of you for accepting my invitation I know in times like this you must have other matters to attend to."

"I don't think I need to explain why I've invited you all here, or how grim the situation is. The Void invasion is a plight that endangers everyone in Valoran and possibly all of Runeterra. You all have been selected to counter this threat." Shen stated.

"The reasons I've asked you all vary whether it be your position of power." He looked to Jarvan and Gangplank.

"Sheer combat capabilities." He turned his gaze to Diana and Leona.

"Or technological know how." He looked to Viktor.

"Each of you bring something that makes you valorans best hope at surviving this crisis. However in order to win this war we will still need an army and a plan. I have a void expert who has a plan for stopping the invasion but we will still need an army, and I have some ideas on how to get one."

Shen looked up to Talon hidden away in the rafters.

"Talon your espionage capabilities are impressive but there is no need for that. We're all friends here."

Before Twitch could get an answer from Veigar, the explorer from Piltover began poking fun at Veigar while walking away. If the little mage was going to do anything in response it was interrupted as the very man Twitch was asking about dropped down in the center of the shrine.  The man quickly explained why he selected who he did and that he had a plan, but needed the people to get it done. There was also apparently someone else in the shrine named Talon who was hiding the whole time. "Hmm, so you're Shen?" Twitch said curiously as he walked away from Veigar and towards Shen, circling around him, and sniffing him. "What's this plan ninja? It better be spectacular! I could have been safe in my sewers while defending them from looters you know."

Talon's wanted to be surprised the Eye of twilight had spotted him but he wasn't. He had to have gained that title somehow. Talon had always had a little respect for Ninjas and be held respect so very few. He enjoyed the Ninja's skills in stealth and assassination much like his own, but of course the ninja before him was the best among them. Talon imagined his skills surpassed that of most Talon himself was familiar with. He did wish though that Shen hadn't called him out, but assumed he would have to have show himself at some point unless he wished to abandon them. It was probably to late for that now.

Talon released a bitter sigh before hopping from the rafter near Shen. Talon wondered if Shen had in fact been up there the whole time and no one, including himself, had been able to spot him.

His feet landed silently on the ground despite the armor he wore on his legs. He didn't make a move to go stand near any of the others not having a good idea on everyone's feelings about Noxians. He wasn't sure if he was famous enough for some of them to have heard of either. But he did believe he had a Noxian look to him that couldn't be missed. The prince would know him without a doubt since they had meet before. He hoped that his pasted aid to the prince would be enough not to turn against him now.

Talon would make sure to keep close to Shen for the moment. He had stated 'we were all friends here' so he hoped the ninja would not allow any violence against him. Talon could put up a fight if backed into a corner but there was way to many people in this room to take out more then one or two.

Before Shen's revel some other guests had joined the group, or show themselves. The shadow Talon had seen enter earlier turned out to be a devilish women who had crossed the shrine like she owned it only to stop in front of the prince. Another was a large man with a huge sword. But he didn't have time to analyze them at the moment instead he needed to make sure he was safe here. He began scanning for fast and safe escape roots as well as any improvise able weapons.

@TwistedFate777

Diana had moved away from Viktor after she had spoke her disinterest in being a robot. She decided to move a little closer to the rest of the guests but not by much. When she saw a seductively dressed woman come out of the shadows she had a tight grip on her sickle in case she was an enemy but it turned out she was a guest along with the rest of them whom seemed to be very..flirtatious and teasing towards specific men in the shrine. Diana thought maybe the woman was some kind of succubus no doubt from the Shadow Isles maybe but she didn't want to conclude that since she didn't know for sure. She had heard of the Shadow Isles but never visited them only heard tales of it and what it use to be like. Next thing she half expected but wasn't prepared for was the King of Freljord striding in and making himself comfortable. Like she had wondered before, she had expected some high powered/class people to come so seeing Tryndamere himself didn't surprise her. The Demacian Prince had came earlier so she wonders how these two royals will be interacting.

The Lunari was about to move somewhere again before Shen had jumped down from the rafters. The Eye of Twilight was quite skilled to have kept himself hidden without anyone else noticing or speaking of his presence. Diana had to give him some praise for that especially since she admires ones who hold great skill. Shen had spoke of the main obvious reason as to why they're all here and what is going to be done to protect Valoran and destroy the void. Another man had jumped from the rafters and Diana would've thought that he was a Ionian like Shen until she saw his attire. It wasn't Ionian like attire but more of a Noxus style of clothing. Diana had heard of the stories and the background of Noxus and their beliefs and most things were not good. A lot of people dislike Noxians for their ways which is understandable to her as well. She had never really met a Noxian before and she wanted to be cautious towards him but that also goes for the others here. She won't judge Talon since he may not be like all Noxians are "supposedly" like and could be just a decent person.

She had come here accepting the invitation though not fully sure if she was willing to help but now she understood the plan fully and was more than willing if it meant she could help her home return to peace. Diana looked back to Shen and approached a little closer with her sickle to her side before giving a small bow out of respect. "Shen, Eye of Twilight, if this whole plan involves destroying the Void to ensure not only the peace and safety of Valoran but also my home Mount Targon I Diana will gladly aid you anyway I can."

Gangplank

Once Gangplank made his remark about the tiny mage, Shen finally appeared to explained everything about the actual situation, and why he did picked everyone. After saying " your position of power " , Gangplank mumble to himself smirking "Of course... A captain must handle everything" after that, apparently someone named Talon was there from the beginning, listening and hiding. Gangplank frown at this though, he was of course hating spy. Now, Gangplank could know the name of each person present here. He crossed his arms, waiting for something interesting to happen.
