Arc 1: Ionia

Lips pulled into an amused smile, Evelynn shifted her stance to her other foot and crossed her arms loosely, a light giggle escaping her breath. Her conman didn't seem to be too thrilled to see her. Pity. She admitted that this was the better situation though, things progressing like old times would only complicate things. She could tell he was trying to keep up appearances in front of others but he would only come at a time like this if there was something to gain. Then again he was human, they had strange ways of caring even when they had no reason to. It was one thing she vaguely remembered.

Remembered? She shakes her head, grateful that the Eye of Twilight himself had finally shown, or at least made himself known. She didn't doubt he might've been there all along. This was a land of ninjas after all. She had thought she felt a presence when she entered the shrine earlier, but her suspicions were confirmed when Shen called a man known as Talon from the rafters. At least as far as stealth went she wasn't a lone specialist, then again she wasn't one for strength. That was her major weakness. If she did indeed intend to assist them against the Void, she would be at more of a disadvantage. Her entire being was designed for one purpose, self preservation. She faded into shadows, took from others, lives and all, and added to her own. Unless there was intense dark emotion on the battlefield she wouldn't be slaying any beasts or saving anyone.

She spared a glance at Twisted Fate then in an unconscious motion. He may have been the exception... No. Self preservation. That was all that mattered. In the end only she would keep herself company as the years past. She would do what she could for profit, just to get by.

She gives a sigh. "I get the feeling that I may be here as bait more than anything.." she murmurs. The Void and the Shadow Isles didn't exactly play nice as was... Not that she was ally to either, thank the gods for that. Too much drama that wasn't worth the trouble.

Viktor sighed and turned away tired of people not understanding how amazing his project was. He got rejected two times and that damn rat turned him down, saying that he still had stuff to do before he could join him.

He was angry, really angry, and he would have left this shrine if that blue ninja didn't appear right away. He looked at the human wondering what in the world would he want. Destroy the voidlings? Then why would he need everyone. By giving Viktor the resources, he would create an army far more powerful than anyone here. Viktor smirked behind his mask when Shen talked to him. At least, someone understood how good and important he was. The Machine Herald walked towards the ninja and pointed at everyone and then looked at him "Why would ask them to come? If you gave me the resources, I could create an army far more powerful. So why use humans and other beings?" he asked, giving a little look at Twitch

He moved his hand towards Shen's shoulder and if he let him, he would put his hand there "Tell me, Ionian, why all this work to kill mere voidlings. They are easy to destroy. The only reason our land is falling is because of humans' emotions made them blind and made them think they were the ultimate species. If you ally with me only, my machines could destroy those Voidborns and maybe even close the portals that they use to invade our land." he says laughing "It would be a perfect moment to show everyone how the Glorious Evolution is the next step for achieving the ultimate body and mind!"

The barbarian raised an eyebrow at the man dropping from the rafters and didn’t think much about it as he figured that he might just be another person. It wasn’t until he began to speak did he realize that this was the Eye of Twilight they’d all been waiting on. Color him somewhat impressed but it’d take more then just that to impress the King. Hearing the disgusting rodent speak up, Tryndamere turned his gaze to that and then quickly to Talon dropping from the rafters as well. He was deciding on how to go about speaking when others began to talk and speak up causing him to just keep him mouth shut.

The King of the North, while annoyed, knew that there was no need to be saying anything that could potential ruin this . . . temporary alliance with these.  . . .  . . people. Not that he cared, but Ashe did so he’d keep his mouth shut well that was until the crazy man start spewing about how worthless they basically were. Now borderline angry he pushed off the wall and took a few steps forward.

“Did you ever stop to think because no one wants to be a tiny can you bucket of bolts. That perhaps they like being human, flaws in all. You can’t just go about forcing your ideas down everyone’s throats likes it water and believe they’ll just accept it.”
